Simattle is ready.

This is a massive unoccupied world I’ve been working on since April. I have play tested a previous version of the world for months simultaneously and have fixed numerous quirks along the way.

“A very large world for the Sims 3. It has so much to do for the Sims who get bored easily. Plenty of skill building activities in walking distance of the school, and a lot of beaches to enjoy the prime location! Build your own home or move into one of the exiting houses and have fun!!”

Name change and updated file. Lesson learned, do not put punctuation in your world file name. ( The 2.0 v2 is because I have a previous iteration of this world I have used to play test. )

Required Stuff Packs: High End Loft, Fast Lane, Outdoor Living, Town Life, Master Suite, Diesel Stuff, and Movie Stuff.

Required CC: Absolutely none. No store content, no custom content. Was my goal from day one to keep all CC out.

Note, the festival area is the one from Bridgeport, and when the skate ring appears it glitches through the ground, it’s hilarious. I meant to delete it before exporting, but then there would be no festival grounds in this world. It has zero effect on the game, my sims have skated on it just fine lol

Also, I have plans to build a festival ground on a pier that I needed Simattle v2 to have the correct lot. Some of the community lots are built into the cliffside making them only playable from 3 sides. If you want a screenshot from that 4th angle just use TAB mode. None of the residential homes suffer this issue though.

Lastly, I built this world to play with my 2021 upgraded computer and so far has ran great for me. 

One more note: There is a save issue with the first file I put up, so if you can’t reload your save just uninstall ‘Simattle 0.2′ and replace with current download ‘Simattle v2′. You will not be able to load saves made with 0.2, but your new ones with v2 will work perfectly fine. I’ve never had an issue with a custom world so I did not know that this would happen, but if you put punctuation in the world file name it makes that glitch happen. So sorry to those, like, 4 people.

Just a comparison between my advancement in digital art. January 14th, 2021 - Like, yesterday

The Colored Lily (SFS) was just colored with a solid color in another program and I don’t have a jpeg of it. The Lily Outline (SFS) has more detail anyways, barely. Now I do everything in my main art program, Krita, and only use the other to make the correct type of file for Sims 3. 

I love art, I just wish it did not frustrate me so much. This one definitely makes it into the book I’m illustrating. I just keep turning my art into sims 3 tattoos lolol

The other tattoo is Hibiscus and Camellia tattoo. Too bad it looses so much in the transfer process.

I made another tattoo! File Name: Dancing Tattoo 2022

This is my art, and is located in the tattoo menu in CAS not the accessories category.  

This is a package file and is installed through the mods folder.

All channels recolorable. Fully adjustable.

Expanded tattoo was used for the ribs location, made possible by Nraas and Cmar. Tattoo made with Tattooinator, also with credits to Cmar and the tutorial on Mod the Sims for it because it’s complicated even with the handy little program! I love having a lot of tattoos in my game. 

Outfit credit to Bill Sims, found on The Sims Resource. I had her in base game clothing until I pressed play and surprise! She’s preggo. So, shout out to Bill Sims for having this bathing suit available for pregnancy morphs because I was committed to her as a model right then and everything else covered up her rib tattoo location! lol

Boxcar Diner. Perfect for one of my very few tiny lots. Since my new computer is so strong ima have quite a few places to eat. This is only lot #4 thoooo sooo this will prob be the only place for a while.

I’ma also add a pizza joint and a toy store since I have Midnight Hollow and Monte Vista, but I’ma save those for last and release a version of this world with no store content in it. I have every ep and sp, but I’m not using 70′s 80′s 90′s stuff or Into the Future items because IDK if I wanna play this would with ItF active.

Starting a new world! Untitled as of now.

Lemon Tree has been abandoned due to technical difficulties.. RIP

It took me a while to feel up for more CAW work because I really put a lot of time and effort into that project.. Smoothing those roads was a lot of work, but I’m ready to move forward with all that I know and create an even better world!

This time I’m using a large map instead of a medium so it doesn’t have to be an island like my last world and the distant terrains will actually fit around the map. Also because I recently got Island Paradise and now will be able to utilize water as I wasn’t able to before. This should also allow me to texturize the cliffsides more as I'll have more space for the houses. 

I will also be experimenting with creating my own road for the world since I found out you can do that in the middle of Lemon Tree. 

This is just the basic ‘large mountain map 200′ from the CAW database unchanged. With organized layers and the grid on I’m ready to spend much of my life here in Untitled Land lololol

Been spending a few more hours on the roads last night and again tonight. Lots of shaping. I am going to have to test these roads in game before I spend half my life smoothing them out.

What I did tonight. My city is going to be along the hill. 

Made custom roads, aligned them to grid. No road will go thru the middle cuz it would be too steep in most places. Sculpting.

Back in CAW again.. why are distant terrains so hard to place??? I got this one looking mighty nice though~~

I still want this world darnit

I recently had A LOT of trouble getting into my Sims 3 after I upgraded my computer. In the process of trying literally everything I could find on forums and thru EA help, I deleted everything I had for CAW by accident.... It was a very sad day. 😢 Well, I’m back (thanks to powershell and fellow players)and will get the world I wanted when I built Lemon Tree, ultimately I did not want an island. It’s still sad that world, and my first world, are gone though. Wish I had uploaded them.

Time to figure out where the City goes. At least I have all my notes for lot sizes and such since I jot those down irl. lol

Made this digital drawing for another project and thought it would make a great Sims 3 tattoo, and I love it! Getting more comfortable with complicated designs and how to translate them to the simple four available color channels that the Sims 3 has.
