‼️ Read below for how I’ll be doing this AND an important note to those of you who submitted a sim:

Nico will be meeting ALL the sims, but will only be going on dates with six of them (sorry 😢 as much as I would want him to go on 12 dates, that’s a lottt). The selection of the six sims will be based on ranking how the first meeting with each sim goes!

He’ll go on an individual date w each of the six sims, developing (or devolving) the relationship.

Second dates with the 3-4 sims he earns the highest relationships with

Spinning the wheel w the top sims!

I'll be downloading mods to enhance the gameplay.

Sorry this is so unconventional and not as fun as a bachelor challenge, but I plan to do one at some point in the future w another gen!

‼️ Important note to everyone who submitted a sim pls read below!

Some sims probably look a bit different than they did when yall submitted them, but I promise I did not maliciously or intentionally change any features 🥲 (no skin colors were touched. If they appear different, it’s 100% my gshade). Genetics were touched for irises, for example, bc some were very small or huge due to my defaults. I also added skin overlays to some sims that didn't already have one + blush, lashes, and this shadow detail for ALL of the sims for the sake of consistency since I currently give these specific details to literally all my sims lol.

There were a couple sims that looked a little different and I assume it was because of some presets/sliders I didn’t have, so I did my best to make them look as close as I could to your preview pics. I downloaded just about all the cc that was included but I’m sure that I missed some stuff like sliders/presets, which make all the difference. Please please message me if you’re unsatisfied w anything. It’s also possible I accidentally switched traits (when I was in CAS making them pose for pics) so pls also lmk if you notice a mistake with traits. I’m a complete newbie when it comes to interactive things like this so please give me some grace for this first timeejdjsj 😭

Eden was so focused on the task at hand that she didn't even hear Miriam enter the room.

Eden looked over and Miriam had the most serious look on her face. All she could do was laugh.

Eden: Well Miss M, it is a legal document explaining who my belongings go to when I expire.

Miriam: Expire? Mama, like spoiled milk?

Now Eden knows she was to be straight up with Miriam.

"She prefers lunchtime and her friends to the actual educational stuff, but that's just kids for you! And I've gotta say I agree with you about Brindleton Bay, from what I've seen when we visited. Everything's too spread out, it's not practical if you need to go anywhere. But I was brought up in San Myshuno, so maybe I'm biased. Oh, and talking about Brindleton Bay, if you’re not travelling up for Thanksgiving, you’re welcome to join us here. Miriam’s aunts are coming, but we have room for all of you guys if you wanna come. It’d be good to have you.”

"That’s so sweet of you! I’ll think about it, that might be good! Are you sure you don't need me to help with the cooking? I could start on the pasta if you want."

"Nope, you don't have to do that. You're a guest, and you've got Travis with you. I don't want you to have to put him down if it'll upset him."

"Christ, no. Look, I'm a pretty decent cook, and I enjoy cooking. I'm yet to have any complaints on the spaghetti and meatballs that I'm currently making. If Miriam was to cook, we'd have complaints from both Miriam and anyone who had to eat what she made. I love her but she's not a good cook, which is fine. She hates cooking. Besides, she's busy checking on the kids now."

"Uh I'm sorry if I upset you, Bowie. I didn't mean to. I guess I just thought that maybe-"

"You didn't upset me, don't worry about it. I'm sorry that I gave you the idea that I'm upset. I just wanted to explain, I really like cooking. And I don't get upset that easily, so like, you can chill out."

Happy Hanukkah! Happy New Year! I've been sitting on this for half a year now and I'm glad to finally share it with you all. I actually started this before my Independence Day dress, and this was the reason that I discovered the 'heal' function of Gimp, to remove the flowers so I had a blank canvas to add these Stars of David. I wanted to make a dress my Jewish sims could wear to proudly show off their faith and/or ethnicity, for holidays or just because.

I'm sorry the gif is terrible (this is the best I could do) but, at least it gives some idea of the different colors available.

It's almost like Miriam rejected the sunshine and balminess of her home world with a resounding "nope!" Believing herself to be someone born to late (or possibly a reincarnation of a much older soul), Miriam favours a 70's aesthetic, in terms of fashion, music and lifestyle, as much as possible. She's indifferent towards anything that reeks too much of modern day technology, but is happy to use it in the name of the blog she's been writing since high school: penname xoxo_gossipghoul.

(She hates the "xoxo" part now, but it's too late to change it.)

Miriam is a curious mixture (and well, just curious) of someone who is drawn to the darker peripheral elements of the world and yet approaches each day with enthusiasm and delight, particularly if it's overcast. Maybe she just wants a new experience in signing up for Nico's challenge? Maybe her nocturnal inclinations will make her a great co-caregiver? Or maybe she just wants some more dirt and fodder for her (eternally) in-progress first novel.

MISC: Miriam's hair is actually the brown-grey shade - it just looks more like a nice dye job with these cc hairs from @oakiyo. Also I believe there's a clash between her eyelashes and rings, so I didn't give her any.
