Silver hums as he approaches Fleetway with a thoughtful look in his eyes as he reached for Fleetway's arm and look the other hedgehog over gently

"Looks like you may have fatigue in your muscles due to a weakened state or loss of power, which both aren't good in the long run and could possibly lead to injuries or illness in the long run"

That's a pretty smart hedgehog-

Fleetway blinked for a moment, letting Silver grab onto his arm. He didn't exactly do anything. Yet. So, he stood there, listening to what Silver had to say. As he finished talking, Fleetway only chuckled for a moment. Before it turned to a full on laugh.

" Well, you're CERTAINLY the bright one! "

Fleetway managed to get himself out of Silver's grip, before grabbing onto Silver's wrist, digging his claws deep into his skin, trails of blood running down his arm.

" But, even without my skills, I'd like to say I'm still pretty powerful! Wouldn't you agree? "

Fleetway smiled a bit sadistically. That..wasn't creepy-

his hands splay open while he poorly imitates their expression, because really, he had no other excuse. he just had an inward habit of gatekeeping his excitement for certain things... that still doesn't stop him from playing the 'i'm offended' card, though. "excuse me. i'm saying we had to unionize or whatever... just come together and enjoy the nog while those other kids can't. and now i feel like a dick for even bringing them into this scenario. it's your fault." he says it quick enough that it's meant to be a tease, sighing as he looks back to her with a small shrug. "but honestly? i think we have a more enjoyable time on 'pre-christmas' christmas. when dad and everyone else comes around it's either fighting or crying." nick finally gives into the truth, just between the two of them, though he's not in the headspace to harp on the emotions behind that and claps his hands together to move forward. "so! you want your gifts now or are we waiting til actual christmas?"

"and you're telling me you couldn't just.... drink the eggnog?" their arms cross over their chest as he continues and well, now she's just looking at him like he has two heads, "okay and what exactly is your eggnog gonna do for those starving kids? should have left the nog as eggs, if you wanted to help the kids. i'm gonna tell dad you're not helping the starving children." it doesn't matter though, because they did bring his gift, they had brought cookies - and regardless of nesta's trademark grumpiness, they were glad to spend christmas with nick (even if it was not-christmas).
