Web of hearts
Spiderwoman!Yunjin x Villain!Reader
Warnings: Violence(not tm) , Morally Grey Characters , Enemies to lovers , Themes of Betrayal and trust ,KISSING!!, mention of struggles
“Web of Hearts”
The city glittered like a jewel under the night sky, its lights painting the horizon in hues of neon pink, electric blue, and sharp gold. Above it all, Yunjin swung from rooftop to rooftop, her Spiderwoman suit sleek against her figure as the cool night air rushed past her. Her thoughts were sharp and focused: you were out there, and she wasn’t going to let you slip away this time.
You had been the bane of her existence for weeks. A mysterious Villain whose crimes were as clever as they were chaotic—art thefts, tech heists, even the occasional explosion just to “make things interesting.” No one had ever pushed her this far, and she hated—no, she couldn’t stand—that you always got under her skin.
Tonight, though, she was ready. She’d tracked your movements, intercepted police chatter, and narrowed down your target: a shipment of cutting-edge technology being smuggled through the city. She perched on the edge of a skyscraper, her masked eyes scanning the streets below like a hawk.
Then she saw it. A sleek figure darting through the shadows of an alley, a bag slung over your shoulder. You moved like a phantom, quick and silent. But you weren’t quick enough.
Yunjin fired a web, and it zipped through the air with precision, yanking the bag from your grip. She dropped down in front of you, landing with a thud that echoed through the narrow alleyway.
“Predictable,” she taunted, twirling the bag in her hand before webbing it to a nearby lamppost.
You stepped out of the shadows, your leather-clad figure illuminated by the dim light. Your mask covered the lower half of your face, but your amused eyes betrayed your emotions. “Predictable? That’s rich coming from someone who keeps playing into my hands.”
Yunjin’s head tilted slightly, her lenses narrowing. “Big talk for someone who’s about to be webbed up like a fly.”
You laughed, low and teasing, before lunging at her. The alley erupted into a whirlwind of motion. Punches, kicks, and flips—it was a dance neither of you could win nor wanted to lose.
But this time, you managed to pin her against the wall. Your hands braced on either side of her head, your bodies too close for comfort.
“Why do you keep chasing me?” you asked, your voice softer now, but no less challenging. “There are bigger, badder villains out there. You don’t even know my endgame.”
“Maybe I like the challenge,” Yunjin shot back, her voice steady despite the fluttering in her chest.
Your eyes gleamed as a smirk tugged at your lips. “Or maybe you like me.”
The words hung in the air, heavy and charged. Yunjin faltered, just for a moment, but it was enough. You grabbed her wrist, twisting out of her grip, and spun her around so she was now the one pinned. She gritted her teeth, frustration bubbling up—not just at her failure to gain the upper hand, but at how close you were. She could feel the warmth radiating off you, could see the sharp curve of your jaw under the mask.
“You’re insufferable,” she muttered.
“And you’re obsessed with me,” you countered, your voice dropping lower, sending an involuntary shiver down her spine.
You reached up slowly, your gloved fingers brushing against the edge of her mask. She stiffened but didn’t stop you. “You don’t have to hide, Yunjin,” you murmured. “I’ve known for a while now. You’re not as sneaky as you think.”
Her heart pounded in her chest. She should have been furious, but instead, all she could focus on was your voice, your proximity, the way her name sounded coming from your lips.
“You’re bluffing,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
“Am I?” you whispered back.
The tension between you snapped like a web in the wind as you leaned in and pressed your lips to hers. For a moment, the world disappeared. The city, the mission, the chaos—none of it mattered. Her body reacted instinctively, her hands finding their way to your shoulders as she kissed you back with a fire she didn’t know she had.
When you pulled away, she was breathless, her masked eyes wide with shock.
“This doesn’t mean I’m letting you go,” she said, her voice shaky but firm.
You grinned, stepping back into the shadows. “Sure, Spiderwoman. Catch me if you can.”
And then you were gone.
The kiss haunted her.
Days passed, and every time Yunjin closed her eyes, she felt the ghost of your lips on hers. She hated how easily you’d gotten under her skin, how much she thought about you now.
Still, she couldn’t let it distract her. You were a criminal—a dangerous one—and she had a job to do. But the lines between duty and desire were blurring in ways she couldn’t control.
The next time she found you, it wasn’t because of police chatter or clever detective work. She stumbled upon you while patrolling the city. You were perched on the roof of an abandoned building, staring out at the skyline like you owned it.
She didn’t hesitate, firing a web that wrapped around your arm and yanked you toward her. You stumbled, caught off guard, but quickly recovered, flipping to land gracefully a few feet away from her.
“Didn’t think you’d come back so soon,” you said, brushing off your sleeve.
“You make it impossible not to,” she shot back, her voice sharp but lacking the venom she intended.
You tilted your head, studying her. “You’re different tonight.”
“Don’t flatter yourself.”
You chuckled, stepping closer. “I wasn’t. But now I’m curious.”
She tensed as you closed the distance between you, your presence as intoxicating as it was infuriating.
“Why do you care so much?” you asked, your tone softer now. “I’m not some maniac trying to destroy the world. I have my reasons.”
“Reasons don’t excuse what you’ve done,” she said, though her voice wavered.
“Maybe not,” you admitted. “But you’ve never asked why. You just assume I’m the bad guy because it’s easier that way.”
She froze. It wasn’t like she hadn’t wondered—your crimes were always precise, your targets specific. But she’d buried those thoughts beneath her duty to stop you.
“Why, then?” she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
You hesitated, and for the first time, she saw a crack in your confident façade. “I’m not ready to tell you. Not yet.”
Her eyes narrowed behind the mask. “Convenient.”
“It’s the truth,” you said, stepping even closer. “But you could find out. If you really wanted to.”
“Stop playing games,” she snapped, though her heart wasn’t in it.
You smiled, leaning in until your faces were just inches apart. “I’m not playing. Not with you.”
And then you kissed her again. This time, it wasn’t impulsive—it was deliberate, slow, and full of unspoken words. Her resolve crumbled as she melted into you, her hands gripping the front of your jacket to steady herself.
When you pulled away, her head was spinning.
“You’re impossible,” she muttered, though there was no heat in her words.
“And you’re irresistible,” you countered with a smirk before disappearing into the night once more.
The pattern continued. Every encounter blurred the line between enemy and lover until Yunjin couldn’t tell which was which. You’d tease her, push her buttons, and then leave her reeling with a kiss that left her questioning everything.
Eventually, she realized the truth: she didn’t want to stop you anymore. She wanted to understand you. And maybe, just maybe, she wanted you to understand her, too.
But could she ever truly trust you? Could you trust her?
The next time you met, under the pale light of a crescent moon, the air between you was heavy with unspoken words.
“Why do you keep coming back?” she asked, her voice trembling.
“Because I can’t stay away,” you admitted, your voice raw.
She stepped closer, her hand reaching up to gently pull your mask away. For the first time, she saw your face—your full face—and it took her breath away.
“I don’t know how to stop this,” she whispered.
“Maybe we don’t have to,” you said, your eyes searching hers.
And for the first time, Yunjin didn’t fight the pull between you. She let herself fall, trusting that, somehow, you’d catch her.

A very generous follower got me the "do everything" lens I was saving up for and I don't know how to thank them. They'd like to remain anonymous, but I wanted to share my first image and dedicate it to them. Check out them bokeh balls.
The thing about lenses is they often don't perform well at their widest aperture. So if you are shooting in low light, you have to take a serious hit to quality and detail. But the Sigma 50mm Art said, "That sucks" and made their lens near perfect even at f/1.4.
Here you can see a $100 lens at f/1.8 vs the Sigma at f/1.4.
Note that just going from f/1.8 to 1.4 is a huge optical engineering challenge and then to end up with a sharper image is even more impressive.
So thank you anonymous follower, you have made the first step of my new photography journey much easier. I now have the proper tool to get started and that is amazing.

FAQ + About (for mobile)
About me: My name is Milli (she/her), 25yrs. I love taking photos of nature and my Subaru. I’m a huge nerd about mushrooms, plants, and skulls. I’ve been hiking ever since I was a little kid and at this point I feel at home in the woods.
I have a flock of chickens, a boyfriend, a dog, and waaay too many house plants
Did you take all the photos on this blog?
Yep, every photo posted here was taken by yours truly unless otherwise noted (very rare).
What camera/lenses do you use?
My crop sensor/work kit is:
Nikon D7100
10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR
Dolica ZX600B103 Tripod
My full frame kit is:
Nikon D850

50mm f/1.8 G
60mm f/2.8 ED Macro
Nikon 105mm f/2.8 VR G
17-35mm f2.8
20mm 1.8 ED sold
Sigma 150-500mm f5.6-6.3 sold
Kenko extension tubes

Vanguard Alta Pro 263AB (works for macro + everything else)
Filters and other gear:
Hoya circular polarizers + Stop down/up kit
Nikon camera backpack (discontinued)/TARION Camera Backpack
Instax Mini 90
Other cameras I’ve owned:
D50
D200
D3000
D7000
Here’s my lens wish list, some are on there for fun and some I actually want.
What camera gear would you recommend for a beginner?
Before you worry too much about getting the best gear, make sure you learn how to use it first. You could go out and buy the fanciest camera and lenses and still not take good photos because you don’t know how to use your camera or how to “see”. There’s also a saying, “you marry your lenses and date your bodies”. Invest in good lenses, preferably full frame compatible ones in case you ever decide to upgrade to full frame, and get a cheaper body to start. With that out of the way…
If you’re just starting out, I’d recommend getting a refurbished or used camera from the D7100+ line. They’ve come down in price as of late and are pretty solid cameras. Just make sure to check the shutter count.
I’d skip anything from the D3000 & D5000 lines. They’re not bad cameras but they do not have built in autofocus meaning they rely on the lens itself having autofocus. This isn’t horrible but it does limit what lenses you can use (and some of the lenses that won’t autofocus with those cameras are good AND cheap) and that can be confusing for a beginner.
As for a lens, a 50mm f/1.8, or 35mm f/1.8 is a great lens. Both lenses are inexpensive, have good quality glass, and can used for nearly everything. The 18-55mm lens that comes with cameras isn’t bad either.
I don’t shoot Canon/Sony/whatever else so I can’t give any advice there sorry!
How did you learn to take photos?
LOTS of practice, I first picked up a camera back in 2013. In high school and college I took photography classes but ultimately I didn’t really learn much from them, they started at too basic of a level.
I did learn a lot about photography from taking art classes however. They taught me framing, how to use shadows/light, and movement in a photo (where does your eye travel when you view an image/art piece). My mom is also a professional photojournalist so I picked up some knowledge from her and my grandfather who’s also a published photographer.
How can I take better photos?
Again, lots of practice. Learn what every setting and button on your camera does, try different shooting modes, take the same photo at several different apertures and shutter speeds to see what changes. You can learn a lot from reading articles too but the best way to learn, imo, is by doing. Don’t worry about getting the best gear and the best camera, learn how to take photos first.
Study other photographers photos, and even paintings, and see what you like. Pay attention to directional lines and where your eye travels. Learn how to use Photoshop/Lightroom (just pirate it). Take photos in different weather, lighting, and times of day.
What programs do you use to edit? What presets/filters do you use?
I use Lightroom and Photoshop Classic along with custom presets that I’ve made for different situations (fog, snow, etc) to process most of my images and then I make minor tweaks. A lot of my presets started as VSCO presets and then I kept the things I liked and changed the things I didn’t.
What is your job?
I’m a real estate photographer specializing in short term rentals. I love it.
Are you related to Eddie Vedder?
Yep, we’re very distantly related. Something like 7th cousins twice removed but I’ve never met him.
Can you add a photo to your print shop?
Sure! Just tell me the name of the photo (or link it if possible, I reuse a lot of names) you want added and I’ll get it up there.
May I use one of your photos?
I’m 100% ok with people using my photos as a reference for drawing/painting, I’d even love to see the result. For anything else, just shoot me an ask beforehand and I’ll let you know. Please do not repost my photos on Tumblr or elsewhere without my permission.

what are your thoughts in this last bsd episode? (Mostly on akutagawa cuz you write for him a lot)
Oh my so glad you asked anon. I'm gonna discuss everyone but ofc we're starting with the supreme babygirl.
Aku absolutely slayed in his new Rashomon armor or whatever it was. no bcs he's so juicy. I feel like everyone was so pretty this episode, but Aku even more so. Really missed him on screen♡♡ He's so pretty I wanna bake him a fig pie fr.
But on another note rip to my fav old man. I knew Fukuchi was gonna die and all I wanted for him was a dramatic death. HE DID GET IT. Did I cry? Yes.
It's still funny to think how he told Poe the whole story of his childhood with Fukuzawa so he can write the book💀💀
But then again. LOVED IT.
Now on to Fyodor. I personally don't think he's dead. I just have a hunch + that arm really detached kinda too easily ngl. Maybe Nikolai managed to teleport him somewhere and then just pretended to mourn his death? After all he's a good actor.
Sigma is 100% alive. I'm sure of it.
And the skk screentime? Absolute perfection. How can people say that skk isn't real when Chūya wore those scleral lenses and vampire teeth AND growled/hissed like a vampire; all for Dazai? They're canon I'm telling you.
That's kind of it in terms of characters♡
I'd also like to point out the amount of foreshadowing in this official art.
Nikolai's arm LOST IN THE SAUCE (the portal) then Fedya lost his right arm? And oh man. I thought Asagiri simply gave Fukuchi a bombastic outfit but nah💀💀.
Anyway cannot wait for the next chapters I'm so excited. Also gonna post some Aku content soon cuz it's been in my drafts for weeks now.

A picture of my own 110 camera. The Pentax Auto 110. I have only ever shot with the 24mm f2.8, but would love to try out my 50mm and 18mm lens. The lenses also work on my Ricoh GXR with a 3D printed adapter. The flange distance of the Pentax Auto 110 is short than that of the Ricoh GXR, so the lenses are fixed slightly behind the M mount of the A12 module. 😳 It's still such a treat that the three lenses I have for the Pentax Auto 110 also cover APS-C sized sensors. ✨ If I ever stop shooting 110 film the lenses won't go to waste. 😄
The photo itself was shot with the Sigma 35mm f1.4 DG HSM Art lens and a Pentax K-1 II. ✨

Welcome to the blog!
I could have used a more prestigious photo for this, but why?
Hi hello, I'm Bridgette but most online call me Arcane (and have before it was cool) - I'm a queer person from KY in their 30s who has three dogs and loves photography.
If you like my photography work, you can support & follow me elsewhere: https://linktr.ee/bjonesphotography Most of my socials for photography are listed here!
The main stars of the blog are: Evie, the oldest, a bully breed mutt from a local shelter. > Evie passed away May 10th, 2024 from cancer. Astaroth, a red merle Australian Shepherd from a local breeder. Pazuzu, a red tri Australian Shepherd from the same local breeder. Moxie, a bully breed mix puppy from the local shelter, welcomed home late May 2024.
We also have cats, rodents, a jumping spider, a mantis, and a couple of crested geckos I may post from time to time.
My camera for the ~fancy~ photos is a Nikon D850. Primary lenses are an 85mm and a Sigma ART 35mm. Sometimes I upload pics from my iPhone as well but those are mostly just to get a glimpse into the cozy, domestic life we lead.
Asks and questions are always welcome re: photography or pet care. We are primarily a pet home, the most our dogs do is hiking with us. Me and my partner are both neurodivergent and mentally ill so the energy is low here at times. I sometimes go very long bursts without posting but we've been here since Evie was young and intend to stick around, even if it's just occasionally popping in!
Anyway, thanks for joining me on my dog and photography journey and I hope you enjoy the images posted here!
#pinned post#dogs#dogblr#about the blog#photographer#just posting this to pin to the blog lol sorry for clogging up y'all's dashboards with it#I hadn't ever made a pinned post so I'm Hella behind on that

Mountain Overlook, Bandarban
Just an old photo I felt like editing and uploading. The raw photo was already severely underexposed, so I decided to go for a moody and dramatic look. I shot it with the Sony A7 III and the Sigma 24-70 F2.8. I had the camera for a brief period before deciding it wasn’t the right camera for me. The pictures are great, and Sigma lenses are nothing short of art (get it?). But the ergonomics just…

SIGMA lens review for Fujifilm
My review of SIGMA prime lenses for Fujifilm X Mount Camera system.
Introduction A month ago, I had received a couple of new prime lenses from SIGMA India to test it out for a few weeks and give them my feedback and review. SIGMA makes great third-party lenses for all the major camera brands that have interchangeable lens system. In the past, I had received a SIGMA 50mm prime lens for Canon for review too. That was a beautiful ‘Art’ series lens which gave very…

Sigma 40mm f/1.4 DG Lens: Solutions for Image Stabilization and Weight Issues
A popular option for photographers using Sony E-mount cameras, the Sigma 40mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art lens is renowned for its superb optical performance and construction quality. It does have several drawbacks, though, especially when it comes to image stabilization and weight. We will go into great depth about these problems in this blog, offer workable fixes, and emphasize AWPRO CARE support services for camera lens repairs.
Challenges of the Sigma 40mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens
Image Stabilization
The Sigma 40mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art lens for Sony E's lack of integrated image stabilization (IS) is one of its biggest disadvantages. This can be problematic, particularly when shooting handheld or in dimly lit areas.
Motion Blur: If photos are taken at slower shutter speeds without IS, motion blur may appear.
Shaky Video Footage: Without stabilization, videographers could have trouble producing fluid footage.
Solutions for Image Stabilization Issues
To compensate for the Sigma 40mm lens's absence of IS:
Apply Body Stabilization to the Camera: To lessen shake, make sure your Sony camera's in-body image stabilization (IBIS) is turned on.
Take Pictures at Quicker Shutter Speeds: To minimize motion blur and enable higher shutter speeds, raise your ISO or widen your aperture.
Make use of a gimbal or tripod: Using a tripod or gimbal can greatly improve steadiness for both photography and video.
Heavy Weight
The Sigma 40mm f/1.4 weighs around 1,260g, which makes it heavier than many of the lenses in its class and may cause discomfort if used for extended periods of time.
Fatigue During Long Shoots: Photographers who carry their equipment over long distances may find the weight to be burdensome.
Balance Problems with Smaller Cameras: The lens may feel front-heavy on smaller Sony E-mount bodies, which can make handling more difficult.
Solutions for Weight Management
To properly control the Sigma 40mm lens's weight:
Make an Investment in a Comfy Strap: Your body weight can be distributed more evenly with the aid of a well-padded camera strap.
Think About a Battery Grip: When utilizing heavier lenses, adding a battery handle not only increases battery life but also enhances balance.
Make a Smart Gear Plan: Think about packing lighter options or just the necessities when you go out for a shoot.
AWPRO Care: Comprehensive Support for Your Gear
At AWPRO CARE, we understand that even high-quality lenses like the Sigma 40mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art lens may encounter issues over time. That’s why we offer robust repair services for all camera equipment, including lenses. Our Services Include:
Making sure your lens focuses precisely is known as calibration and alignment.
Cleaning Services: Dust and smudges that might degrade image quality are eliminated by routine cleaning.

Camera Equipment
The camera choice is crucial for any wedding filmmaker. A favored option among professionals is the Canon EOS R5, which boasts 45 megapixels, 8K video recording, and in-body image stabilization. Its high resolution is particularly beneficial for capturing the intricate details of a wedding day.
Renowned for its exceptional low-light performance and 4K video capabilities, the Sony A7S III is another dependable option for capturing beautiful wedding footage. This camera excels in dimly lit environments, such as indoor receptions and evening ceremonies, where natural light may be lacking.
For those who prefer a compact yet powerful camera, the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro is an excellent choice. With 6K resolution, a Super 35 HDR sensor, and a built-in ND filter, it offers greater creative control and versatility in various shooting conditions.
Lenses
No camera setup is complete without the appropriate lenses. The Canon RF 28-70mm f/2L USM is a versatile lens with a wide aperture, ideal for capturing candid moments and low-light situations. Its versatility makes it a staple for many wedding filmmakers.
The Sony FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM is perfect for ultra-wide-angle shots, such as sweeping landscapes and group photos. These shots often capture key moments at wedding venues with scenic backdrops or large family gatherings.
For enchanting portrait shots with exceptional sharpness and beautiful bokeh, the Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art is outstanding. It's a high-performance prime lens that can truly highlight the emotions and expressions of the couple on their special day.
Audio Equipment
Clear audio is just as important as high-quality video. The Rode Wireless GO is a compact wireless microphone system that ensures crystal-clear audio for interviews and speeches. Its reliability and user-friendliness have made it a favorite among wedding filmmakers.
The Tascam DR-10L is a compact digital recorder with a built-in lavalier microphone, perfect for discreetly capturing audio. It's particularly useful for hidden miking techniques during ceremonies and vows.
For more complex audio requirements, the Zoom H6 is a versatile portable recorder with multiple inputs for capturing high-quality audio from various sources, ensuring no precious moment goes unheard.
Stabilization and Support
Smooth, stable footage is essential for professional wedding films. The DJI Ronin-SC is a lightweight, three-axis gimbal stabilizer that ensures smooth footage during dynamic shots. It's an excellent choice for capturing fluid motion sequences, such as walking down the aisle.
A sturdy tripod like the Manfrotto 535 with a fluid head is necessary for static shots and achieving smooth pans and tilts. This equipment provides the stability needed for longer, stationary shots during ceremony coverage.
Additionally, the Peak Design Slide Lite camera strap is a versatile accessory, offering quick access and secure support during shooting. It's particularly beneficial for photographers who need to be mobile and ready to adapt quickly to different shot requirements.
Lighting Equipment
Proper lighting can significantly enhance the quality of wedding footage. The Aputure MC RGBWW LED Light Panel is a compact, portable light source that offers adjustable color temperature and brightness, making it suitable for various lighting conditions throughout the wedding day.
For handheld, battery-powered LED light, the Westcott Icelight 2 provides soft, diffused illumination. It's especially useful for quickly lighting up a subject without the need for complicated light stands.
For those on a tighter budget, the Neewer bi-color 480 LED video light kit is a budget-friendly option that offers adjustable color temperature and brightness. It's suitable for studio-like setups during pre-wedding preparations or interviews.
Accessories and Extras
Reliable accessories are often underestimated but crucial. A high-capacity memory card like the Sandisk Extreme PRO 1TB SDXC UHS-I Card is essential for capturing 4K and 8K footage. These high-speed cards ensure that you never miss a moment due to storage limitations.
For transporting and protecting camera gear, the Pelican 1510 Carry-On Case offers durability and watertight protection, making it a dependable choice for traveling filmmakers.
Lastly, the Think Tank Photo Airport Advantage Rolling Camera Bag combines portability with functionality, providing a compact, TSA-friendly solution for carrying essential gear.
Equipping yourself with the necessary gear for a successful wedding shoot is crucial for capturing high-quality footage that tells an engaging story. By investing in reliable camera equipment, lenses, audio gear, stabilization tools, lighting equipment, and accessories, wedding filmmakers can ensure a smooth and successful wedding film production.

What lenses do you use for photography? Got a favourite?
I'm actually rebuilding my lens collection at the moment. I sold all but one lens years ago in a very depressive state and I have been regretting it as I've begun taking photos again.
So I've been doing a lot of thinking about what I would need to do the kinds of photography I enjoy most.
I do a lot of product or still life photography which requires a lot of detail. Especially when I get into the close up and macro realm. So I have been considering doing all primes rather than zooms, since those tend to be sharper at lower price points. Sharp zoom lenses can get crazy expensive.
My first lens that a lovely follower gifted me was the Sigma 50mm f/1.4 Art lens. This will be my primary portrait lens. And I can throw some extension tubes on to get some near macro shots.
I also have a Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 lens. This is probably my favorite lens of all time. I call it my puppy lens. It was primarily what I used to capture photos of Otis. It only works on APS-C bodies, so if I upgrade to a full frame camera, I will have to replace it. Which I have mixed feelings about. It covers the 28-56mm range on a full frame body.
I want a wide lens for landscapes, so I was considering the Samyang 14mm F2.8.
And I want a proper macro lens at some point, and I'd like to have a more tele portrait lens, so the Sigma 70mm f/2.8 Art Macro lens could pull double duty.
Both are pretty affordable, especially used.
That would probably be all I need, but if I ever get my disability settlement figured out, I might look into a telephoto lens and maybe something in the 24mm range to fill in the gap between the 14mm and 50mm.
And if I ever come into a lot of money, I'd probably get the Sony A7R V with the holy trinity zooms. 16-35, 24-70, and 70-200.
Plus a macro lens... obviously. Laowa just released a macro lens kit that basically takes microscope objectives and mounts them on a camera. Those would be nuts to play with.
My 2 paragraph rule has gone completely off the rails.

THE JOY OF GERIATRIC PHOTOGRAPHY :
I have found the ultimate *"Crip Camera"- a Nikon P1000. It is the World's largest 'point & shoot' camera with the size and weight of a D850 with a Sigma Art lens.
I no longer possess the slender, easy-moving, contortion-abled body of my youth. My lungs are shot from 40 years of smoking to the point I run out of breath when doing hard-core critical thinking. I'm a rolly-polly fat fuck in a borderline diabetic, bursitis, and gout-infused physique. I walk like a cripple for maybe a hundred feet before I have to either sit down or fall down.
"Falling down" is NOT an option!
With the "Crip Camera", I have versatility in a small package :
- one camera instead of two.
- one non-interchangeable lens, vice four interchangeable lenses.
- a seven by twelve over-the-shoulder pouch, vice an eighteen by thirty backpack that opens on the 'wrong end' to protect all that heavy gear from being ripped off while you're walking with it.
This picture (of either a 172 or a 182) at the south end of the ramp was taken from the north end of the ramp at the "T" line by the restaurant. The lens was zoomed to a focal length of 180mm - the 35mm camera equivalent of 990mm. It is also the same spot where I took a picture of a father and daughter by the wingtip of an orange SGS 2-33 glider (hereto forever known as the "Great Pumpkin"). It will be uploaded after processing (editing).
The next project will be how well the "Gimp" photographs airplanes that are taking off and landing - showing the propellers as actually turning, rather than every airplane doing a "dead stick" landing.
Apparent sharpness will be critical as well (sounds like something Yogi Berra would have said).
FLY NAVY !

Sigma 50mm f/1.2 | ART Lens Announced for Sony and L-Mount
This morning, Sigma has announced a new fast “normal” focal length lens for Sony and L-mount mirrorless cameras: the 50mm f/1.2 | ART series lens. Unlike many recent Sigma lenses, this model is lightweight and compact; in fact, Sigma claims that it is the lightest lens in its class. The lens uses dual linear motors for fast and quiet autofocus, a manual aperture ring (with lock and de-click…
