They really changed the walkie-talkies on solos for an excuse to write challenges in their handwriting on the site. An excuse for Shane to draw a big heart next to his signature so that Ryan knows he loves him. Ryan even reads it as "love, Shane" even if it's just a drawing of a heart because Shane's love/friendship is what gives Ryan comfort when he's alone on a ghost investigation.

i have to say there's something so endearing about shane not believing in ghosts and being so incredulous each time ryan firmly believes something supernatural happened he's like is he actually serious? but even so he's still so fond and let's ryan have his thing and indulges him regardless idk something very cute about it because think about how annoying it has to get to entertain things you know aren't there and he does it anyway for ryan

ohhh its a good question and a very important one (to me). I dont know but they sure are Like That huh?

My theory goes like this!

They get along well.

Their friendship is based in friendly ribbing including sexual humor.

And, they are in a long term commitment that requires careful peacekeeping in their relationship (not unlike a certain other legally binding relationship. nay, i shant say it...)

Steven: I wouldn't mind Shane doing that but if Ryan would do that I feel like he'd try to kill me.
