DIY Bathroom Renovations: A Detailed Tutorial
Most people's days begin and end in the bathroom, although this area is rarely considered when planning house renovations. Do you feel ashamed when guests see your outdated bathroom? We're here to assist you in completing a budget-friendly bathroom renovation.

Remodeling Your Bathroom: Step-by-Step Instructions
Make Choices About the Look
Select a plan for the bathroom remodel that works with your aesthetic goals and your level of comfort with DIY projects before you get started. This can be done in a variety of ways, from simply changing the vanity and painting the walls to completely gutting the room and beginning again.
Before beginning your bathroom makeover, there are a few things you must decide about.
Color Scheme: Trying for a Farmhouse-y Contemporary Feel? Or perhaps a modern, minimalist style would better suit your tastes. If you want your new bathroom tiles to go with the new paint, it's a good idea to find some photographs of your vision in advance to help you visualize it.
Upgraded fittings: Do you plan to get a new bathtub or shower soon? A new sink installation, perhaps? Both of these light bulbs need to be replaced, which will increase the duration and cost of your job.
Places to put things: After the renovation, where will you put your bathroom linens? Make sure you have enough shelves or cabinets in your bathroom to make up for the lost storage space caused by the removal of a closet in order to create room for an expansion.
Utility mapping: Can you describe the layout of the plumbing and electrical systems? Don't risk harming these connections and spending money fixing them by failing to mark out the places where you'll be working.
Bathroom Renovation: Step-by-Step Instructions
First, take down any sanitary ware
If you plan on doing any kind of major work to your bathroom, the first step is to take down the walls and any old fixtures. DIY bathroom gutting isn't hard, but if you want to avoid making expensive blunders during demolition, read on.
First things first when gutting a bathroom: turn off the water, drain the toilet, and take it out.
Bathtub removal requires covering the tub and removing the tile around it down to the studs. To accommodate your new shower or tub layout, it will be required to rebuild the plumbing.
If any of the insulation in your walls has to be removed, do so now. Insulation is not something to be pounded on. Cut the panels out using a reciprocating saw instead.
2. Set up the New Bathtub or Shower
The new bathroom fittings can be installed after the bathroom has been gutted. The flooring should be replaced before installing a new shower if there are any symptoms of rotted wood or water damage.
When replacing a tub or shower, it's important to find a pan or basin that complements your new design aesthetic and the footprint of the outgoing fixture. The most common shapes for basins are rectangles, squares, and pentagons (with one corner removed). Consider the door and any other fixtures already installed in the bathroom before settling on a base shape.

DIY bathtub and shower repair tips
If you have a crack, chip or even a hole in your bathtub, shower pan or bathroom tile, you don't have to do a full bathroom renovation to fix it. You can repair many cracks, chips and holes in porcelain, fiberglass and acrylic showers and tubs yourself with a simple kit.
Use the right repair kit
Chipping and small cracks in your bathtub can be easily repaired with a two-part epoxy bathtub repair kit from the hardware store. The key to a successful DIY shower or tub repair is using the right repair or refinishing kit for your tub or shower surface. Do you know if you have a fiberglass, acrylic, porcelain, enamel or ceramic tub or shower? This is important because different types of epoxy are needed for different surfaces. There are epoxy repair kits for porcelain, enamel, ceramic, acrylic and fiberglass bathtubs. They also come in different shades of white and cream to match common bathroom fixtures, so choose a kit that matches your tub or shower.
Don't skimp on the preparation
If you're only repairing a stone chip, crack or even a small hole, you don't need to clean the entire tub or shower, but you should clean the area you're repairing. Wash off soap scum and other residue with an abrasive cleaner, sand the area as needed, and then clean it again with cotton swabs and rubbing alcohol to remove any remaining dirt or residue.
Be careful with the sandpaper
Before repairing or repainting a tub or shower, you must sand the area where you are applying the touch-up or repair compound so that the touch-up or new paint can take hold. When touching up, however, be careful not to sand outside of the crack or hole you're trying to repair. You could easily scratch the surface of the tub, and then you'll have to touch that up too.

Dancing Through Our House With The Ghost Of You
Billie deals with her own ghosts. Kind of a Character study, I guess. Inspired by the song “Ghost of You” by 5SOS. Part 2 coming soon!
Words: 2,148
Warnings: Language, Major Angst
As Billie stepped out of the taxi and grabbed her luggage, she glanced up at the place she at one time called home. It still was home, in the general sense. All her things were there, all her pots and pans and picture frames. But could she really call a place she hadn’t stepped foot in in almost a year home?
Ten months and sixteen days, to be exact. She kept count. The trip was only supposed to last six months, just a quick visit to some of the most haunted places in Europe for her new special. But the longer Billie was gone, the more she realized she didn’t want to return, not that there was much to come home to anymore. She kept extending the trip, using the extra funds from you not being there to do it. Then, once Lifetime’s funding ran out, she financed the trip herself, dragging her new assistant, Amanda, along with her.
As the medium stepped through the threshold, she could have sworn she heard the familiar humming of that one NSYNC song you always played on loop, the one Billie relentlessly teased you for. It put her at ease, sent the butterflies in her stomach swirling about, only to be crushed moments later by reality. There was no humming, no NSYNC song, and most importantly, there was no you.
“I can take your bags to your room for you.” Amanda offered, breaking Billie out of her trance. She didn’t know how long she had been standing there, but it must have been a while.
She shook her head, still dazed. “No, sweetheart. That’s ok, I can do it. Why don’t you…” Billie trailed off, too lost in her own thoughts to say a proper command.
“Get dinner started?” Amanda asked, Billie nodding in return, “Stir fry ok?”
“Yes darling, that’s fine.” Billie said, Amanda quickly reaching for Billie’s hand and giving it a reassuring squeeze, but all it did was make the woman’s veins run ice cold. It was wrong, so so wrong. In the absence of you, Billie had so carelessly fallen back into her old ways, and in turn, Amanda had fallen into her bed. She hated to think that the girl she had showered with affections only days before now repulsed her, but the woman had to face the fact that Amanda was only a placeholder, a European flame, although Billie knew her assistant thought it was more, thought she was more.
Billie carefully walked up the steps, hating the hollow sound her heels made when they came in contact with the refinished wood. Everything about this was harsh, even the silence. Her home always used to be so soft, comforting, like her own personal safety blanket. Nothing had changed, the house was still the same, and Billie had to wonder if maybe it was you who kept the house alive, kept its heart beating and warm blood pumping through its veins. Maybe, maybe not. Maybe the house was just a house, maybe you were just you, but something told Billie the chill in the air wasn’t thawing anytime soon.
Billie threw her suitcase on the perfectly made, king sized bed and kicked off her heels. It didn’t feel right to call it her bed anymore, not when she could still smell your perfume on the comforter, not when the echoes of your giggles radiated around the room. Billie had always been sensitive to energies, lingering presences that had been etched into the walls and woven into the fibers of the 1000-count sheets, and yours was everywhere. She untucked her silk button down and unzipped her pants, changing into her favorite pajamas that she had for whatever reason decided to leave behind. She wasn’t the type to change right after arriving home, you had spent countless nights teasing her about wearing her heels until the moment she climbed into bed. But something about the way the silk felt on her skin made her want to scream, and truthfully with the way the night was going, she wasn’t sure she would be awake much longer. With a sigh she sat on the bed, unzipping her suitcase and pulling out the contents, ready to put each article back in its designated spot and erase all of Europe from her memory. She heard the soft padding of bare feet on the stairs, glancing up to see you, dressed only in her striped button down and leaning on the doorframe. It wasn’t real, she knew it wasn’t, but she couldn’t help but indulge herself for a moment, memorizing the kinks in your mused hair, your gleaming smile and the way you gripped tightly to her favorite coffee mug.
“Thought you might want some coffee.”
That was the morning after the first night you two had spent together, and it was a moment Billie wanted to burn into her brain for eternity. Still, she hated to torture herself like this, and she forced herself to look away from your form, shaking her head to clear the vision. She glanced back at the open door to see it empty, and breathed a sigh of relief, or despair, she wasn’t sure which.
When the smell of dinner began to waft into the bedroom, Billie decided to head back down. Despite her being fully aware that she was leading Amanda on, she felt obligated to keep the charade up for a little longer, if nothing else than to keep Billie away from her own thoughts, which seemed to be quickly spiraling. The unfamiliar feeling of her own bare feet on the wooden steps gave her a sense of grounding, or so she thought. Things were different, she was different, and there was no use being swept up in the past.
She heard the familiar song before she had even made it to the ground floor, her heart pounding wildly as the tune blended with the sizzling of the stove.
“And I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills…”
Billie’s steps lightened, sneaking up to the entryway of the kitchen and indulging herself for a moment. You always sang while you were cooking. Frankly, there really wasn’t ever a moment you weren’t singing or humming or making noise in general, and Billie loved it. She loved hearing you from rooms away, loved knowing you were always there, loved always having you on her mind. She watched you push the vegetables around the pan and she smiled softly, but something felt wrong, and the smile quickly dissipated. It didn’t sound like you, it sounded like…
“Billie? Billie?” Amanda asked, snapping the woman out of her trance, “Are you ok?”
“Yes, I’m fine dear.” Billie said, glancing down at the floor as her heart dropped, reality settling in once again. This was wrong, all of this was wrong.
“Are you sure?” Amanda asked as Billie glanced back up, “You’re crying, love.”
The medium swiped her thumb across her cheek, catching a single tear with the long nail. She didn’t even know she was doing it, and she let out a small, frustrated grunt. Her gaze returned back to the floor, “Why don’t you head home sweetheart? I can finish this.” She didn’t dare look up, not wanting to see the disappointment stamped across the redhead’s face. She knew Amanda thought she would be staying, there was hardly a night she didn’t end up in Billie’s bed, but even the idea made the woman’s skin crawl.
“Are you sure? Because I can…” Amanda said, Billie glancing up only long enough to see the realization sink in and her jilted lover’s face harden, “Ok. I’ll see you tomorrow, Billie.”
Billie knew she wouldn’t be back. It would be just like all the times before, all the times where she had so carelessly thrown her flings to the curb. All of the women before you, probably all of the women after. Her resignation would be a text, effective immediately, once it finally set in that she was just like the rest, one of the many. She wouldn’t be able to bring herself to call, not that Billie blamed her. She knew what she was, what she always had been. A womanizer who loved the chase, but couldn’t ever get serious. The longer the chase was, the longer the relationship would last, but she really didn’t have to say much to get Amanda into bed, and so really, the game was over before it had even begun.
You were different, or at least Billie thought you were different, right up until she did the same to you. But you weren’t easy to catch, and maybe that was why she held on so long. You weren’t wooed by her shameless flirting, you had no interest in her games. She actually had to work for you, fight for you, and you weren’t an easy girl to trap. When she finally got ahold of you, she swore it would be different. But if it was different, you would still be there, you would have gone with her to Europe, not Amanda, just like you two had planned.
Then again, maybe it was different. Billie knew she wouldn’t think twice about letting Amanda go, in a week she wouldn’t even remember her name. She would be a face, one of the many, that would fade quickly. But Billie had spent the past ten months thinking of you constantly, wishing it were you and not her. That had never happened before. She certainly didn’t see ghosts of her past lovers floating around the halls, just you.
Forgetting about dinner entirely, Billie decided to tackle her demons head on. She wanted to get it over with, despite knowing it would be brutal. She didn’t want to see flickers of you every time she entered a new room over the next few days, didn’t want the constant reminder, so she grabbed a bottle of wine and moved through the rooms one by one, choking down tears. There you were, begging her to dance in the living room, studying at the dining room table, standing in her office covered in paint. Each memory was like taking a dagger to her chest, one after the other. There wasn’t a single room in the house where she didn’t see you, didn’t feel an ounce of your presence. One bottle of wine quickly turned to two, trying to numb the aching feeling that was spreading from bone to bone, nerve to nerve. It was harder than she thought, brutal in every way. You were smiling at her from the balcony, whispering to her in the bathroom, you had even left your mark in the laundry room, and it hurt, it really fucking hurt.
By the end she was stumbling, the second bottle dropped and shattered somewhere on the second floor. She didn’t care, because as she fumbled down the stairs, she was hit with the sucker punch. You were standing by the doorway, bags packed and gauze covering your forehead, hiding the numerous stitches underneath, the ones from the car accident. Your cheeks were tear stained, red rimmed eyes staring back at her filled with hurt and betrayal.
“Bill, are you sure you want to do this?”
Billie dropped, tucking her knees to her chest as she let out a guttural sob. She didn’t want to do it; she knows she didn’t. Hell, she knew then, but she couldn’t stop herself, and she did. She let you go, all because she was scared. That accident almost killed you, and the medium realized she couldn’t bear the idea of losing you. She hated that she was so attached, and once you said those words, she snapped. She ended things and they ended badly, and she never gave a reason, but you knew, you knew her better than she knew herself. She pushed you away because at least then it was a choice, and Billie needed that choice.
The woman looked up and you were still there, your eyes boring into hers as you shook your head.
“Bye, Billie.”
“I’m sorry. I’m so sorry.” Billie sobbed, dropping her head into her knees, hoping if she didn’t look, she wouldn’t see you walk out that door, never to return. But Billie couldn’t run from this, couldn’t pack her bags and head back to Europe, not anymore. But this house wasn’t home without you, and Billie wasn’t Billie without you, and you were gone. She hurt you, broke your heart in two, and now she had to pay the price.
She sobbed and sobbed until her lungs burned, never lifting her head. She heard the front door open, instinctually turning away from the noise. “Amanda,” She squeaked out, “I told you that you could go home.”
There was no response, and Billie thought she must have imagined it, that was until she heard a familiar voice.
“Billie?”

Clyde Logan Headcanons
For @ravenj84
Consider this a very belated birthday present that I couldn’t get finished in time (shocking right?). Love you to bits <3
- Clyde has always been quiet about his time in the military, especially about the events surrounding the loss of his arm. Only Jimmy and Mellie knew the full story, but you had heard bits and pieces here and there. Roadside bomb, him almost making it back from deployment unscathed if it wasn’t for that damn Logan curse that hung over the family. Often when Clyde was nervous or unsure of something, he would run his thumb over the outline of the dark tattoo on his arm. You always wondered the meaning behind it, sneaking glances at it occasionally when Clyde was busy mixing a drink with his sleeves rolled up. The ink was faded and worn and you were never quite able to make out the lettering surrounding it. It wasn’t until one night when Clyde woke with a start, breathing heavy as thunder rumbled in the distance that he finally told you everything. Holding him close as he rested his head on your chest, you carded your fingers through his hair as he told you how afraid he was signing the paperwork when he enlisted, figuring there wasn’t a better option for himself if he stayed in West Virginia. Jimmy got to go off to the state school on a football scholarship, which made his Ma proud until he blew out his knee. Mellie and Clyde stayed behind to care for her as her health began to fail. After her passing, Clyde felt aimless and had nothing besides his trailer and his truck to his name. “It was sign up or go down in the mines, and I ain’t ever liked the dark no matter how good the boys down at the bar said the paycheck was. They wouldn’t be drinkin’ the way they do if it was such a good life.” Clyde told you once he got through basic training, he rather liked military life on base and moved quickly through the ranks into special forces. He knew part of his job was to go overseas, and at first, was excited at the idea of going. A dark look crossed his face as he trailed off, looking up with you with hurt in his eyes. Leaning down, you pressed a kiss to his cheek, a quiet assurance that he didn’t need to explain to you what he had been ordered to do. He had killed, the count you didn’t know, but the fleeting vacant look of him trying to shove the memory back deep down to where he kept them told you enough. Continuing, he told you of how happy he was when his deployment was finally over, the feeling of elation he felt as he boarded into the convoy to head towards the airport. He had thought about the endless rolling hills of his home, how the green seemed to go on forever and how much he had missed the foggy West Virginia mornings as he watched the flat expanse of sand whiz by out the humvee window. The last thing he remembered was a flash of light and his lungs filling with smoke as the roadside bomb ripped through the convoy. A searing pain ripped through his body before the world went black. Waking up days later in a hospital, he faded in and out of consciousness, unsure of if he was dead or alive, faint images of mountains spotting his vision. “When I finally came to” Clyde recounted, “I remember tryin’ to grab onto to somethin’ and my hand wasn’t there to grab onto nothin’. It was just all a bunch of gauze and tape.” Your heart broke as Clyde held onto bit of his arm with his good hand, rubbing at the scars. “It still hurts sometimes, like the pain is still shootin’ down my arm.”
- Despite Clyde’s injury, he was determined to live his life as normally as possible. Aside from Jimmy’s entire cauliflower plan and all that came along with it, Clyde kept to himself and was a simple man. He never asked for help, instead wordlessly coming into the kitchen as you fried up bacon and eggs in the evening before he went to Duck Tape with a button down shirt undone, hanging open, exposing a bare strip of his chest. Turning the stove off, you would silently do up the buttons, smoothing down the fabric once they were fastened, smiling at the handsome man before you. “All that for me?” Clyde would ask as he opened a cabinet to take out two plates for the both of you. Taking the faded china from him, you scooped up a heavy spoonful of scrambled eggs and strips of bacon from the pans on the stove, plopping them onto Clyde’s plate. Stealing a bit of bacon from him, you took a bite. “I’ve rather taken a liking to crispy bacon lately.”
- Clyde has always had a lifelong love of reading. As a child, while Jimmy and Mellie would watch television or rough house in the living room with one another, Clyde would tuck himself away in a corner with a book in his lap. While he never disliked school, he often found the lessons boring and the only highlight was the weekly trip to the library. He would pick out a towering stack of books to check out, while the rest of his class would only take one or two. At first, the school librarian questioned the quiet boy with a mop of dark hair if he was able to read all of his selections in the week before they were due back. He promised her he would, and from then on, she would allow Clyde to take home more than the allowed limit each week.
- His love of reading followed him into adulthood, although he now has less free time to do so. Has an overflowing bookshelf of all sorts of literature from mysteries to classics, along with various stacks of books on his coffee table and next to his bed. During slow hours at the bar, he often makes himself comfortable on a stool to try and read a few chapters before the night picked up again. He would always tell you about the current thing he was reading when you would stop by after work, catching himself as he rambled on about whatever tale of adventure he was currently engrossed in. At first he would be embarrassed that he had just wasted your evening telling you about a story of a lowly writer and his friend who journeyed into the unknown wilds, but your smile and enthusiasm put him at ease. “That sounds like a fantastic story, Clyde” you would tell him. “Could I borrow it when you are finished?”
- You were surprised to find one day that tucked away amongst Clyde’s collection was a vintage hardcover copy of “Pride and Prejudice.” Clyde found you on the couch, thumbing through the aged pages, taking in the beauty of the book. Sitting down next to you, Clyde took the book from your hands. “You know stories are much better when ya read ‘em rather than just leafin’ through ‘em.” Curling yourself into Clyde’s side, he began to read to you, his low timber smoothly punctuating the words you have read yourself so many times before. Clyde softly smiled as he read Darcy’s words aloud to you “You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you.”
- After the heist, Clyde had more money than what he knew what to do with, but was incredibly careful about spending it. At the insistence of Jimmy, he finally called in a professional to rid the attic of the bar of the squirrels that had taken up resistance there years ago. “They never hurt nobody.” Clyde insisted every time Jimmy brought the subject up. “Let Sadie up there for a bit. Kid’s got a hell of a shot.” Finally, he gave in after one of the more adventurous rodents chewed through a speaker wire, cutting off “Night Moves” right before Clyde’s favorite part. Braving the googles, he found a local company that specialized in humane rodent control and finally cleared the bar of the critters.
- Jimmy and Mellie took a liking to you immediately. They hadn’t seen Clyde happy in a long time. Both his brother and sister had long resigned themselves to that Clyde was going to remain single well into old age. Aside from occasional looks from drunken bachelorette parties that would end up at the bar, which Clyde ignored, he didn’t get much attention. He refused to try online dating, even after Mellie tried to set him up a profile. “If there’s a lady for me, she’ll come around on her own good time, not through some computer” Clyde would say repeatedly, until Mellie finally gave up on the idea. When he first met you, he didn’t give much thought to why a pretty lady was talking to him, rather enjoying your company while sitting out on the porch of Duck Tape sipping bourbon together. After a few weeks, you finally told Earl to scram for a bit, leaving you and Clyde alone. “I like talking to you Clyde Logan” you told him as the sun dipped behind the mountains and the first few fireflies of the night began to illuminate the trees. “I like you a lot actually.” You could have sworn even in the low light that you saw Clyde blush, but he finally reciprocated with a shy “I like you an awful lot too.” From then on, you two were nearly inseparable.
- Mellie would often come over on her days off, plopping Clyde down at the kitchen table to trim his hair and chat with you. She’d tell you stories of when she was in cosmetology school how Clyde was the only one with long enough hair to practice roller sets and finger waves on, often leaving him with ridiculous looking styles he would have to shower to get rid of. “He drew the line at a perm” she told you “Nearly failed my state boards because of this big lug not lettin’ me make him curly.” Clyde would groan, trying not to move too much as Mellie snipped at his locks. “She made me look like a damn poodle."
- Never one for flashy things, Clyde instead let the heat die down before purchasing a small cottage out in the mountains. Surrounded by few acres of land, Clyde used his off days from the bar to clear the overgrown yard, the thought of one day being able to start a little vegetable garden with you in the back of his mind. As the weather turned colder, he moved to working on the inside of the house, refinishing the hardwood floors and gutting the kitchen, surprising you one day. “Always liked your cookin’. Now you got a place to do it that ain’t my little trailer no more” Clyde admits as you step into the room, awed at the fact Clyde had spent his days, with help, hanging new cabinets and installing a big farmhouse sink
- Clyde would make sure that the bar was covered two days a week so he could spend time with you. Even though he didn’t need to work, with the heist money more than enough to tie him over for years to come, it gave him a sense of purpose and something to do. Despite the bar hours, you were always his priority, and while you never asked for it, Clyde liked surprising you with little things: your favorite candy that he noticed while checking out at the Grocery Castle or a bouquet of fresh flowers next to the bed to wake up to. One of his favorite things to do with you was going to the drive-in theater a county over. He’d pack extra blankets and put them in the bed of his truck so you both could lay together and watch movies on the big screen. He liked the feeling of you curled up at his side as you both watched whatever the double feature of the week was.

12/05/2021
Brittany came into town yesterday with the kids. I had your blanket and pillow stacked with your hoodie and shorts on the air mattress in your old room. She let Brady in and he laid on it playing his iPad. It doesn’t smell like you anymore. All I wanted to do was call you and talk about it but I had to lay here alone and contemplate ways to get your smell back. I put them in your dirty clothes hamper. She made Matt leave the house early because of Peter. You would have hated that.
It’s 5 am and it’s really cold in your old room. I put your hoodie from the coffee table on to warm up and the arm was still tucked inside. The dogs are snuggled on either side of me and I’m hiding under the blanket trying to imagine you’re beside me sleeping. But there’s only Peters snoring. I almost texted your phone last night and imagined I got an answer. Like that book that just came out.
Everyone keeps saying this will get easier but I just think it’s going to get harder. Our seven and a half years is January 18th and Castors birthday is shortly after, our birthdays are a day apart in April, July is our eight year anniversary and four years of being home owners, August is Peters birthday, October is when we should have eloped, December is one year of loosing everything I had to celebrate in a year. And then repeat. Add more years, add more age to myself and our memories. What about that gets easier.
I’m going to donate the kitchen supplies today. Matt is going to start sanding and painting over the dogs scratch marks. And then the master bathroom because of my 80 degree two hour long showers you used to hate. The ceiling would look like it was raining. But I’d finish my chapter in my book. I should have spent more time with you. You tried to tell me that. Fuck TikTok and reading to dissociate from life. I let so much time with you go willingly. I would do anything to get even the worst day back.
….
Guilt and grief are living things. I can feel them slithering through my intestines. I went to the house alone again. I sat in our room and then the gym for a while talking to you. There was nothing there. But I don’t feel like I can talk to you anywhere else. Once the house is gone what do I do. We get copies of your letters tomorrow. I’m going to come back here and read mine. I found other notes you left me in the green notebook. And the picture you drew me when I was twelve.
Jason invited to many people to your memorial and can’t find a venue now. He mentioned a church. You would have hated and laughed at that. Maybe they’ll hold a service in your name and really bring you to tears wherever you are. I won’t be able to keep a straight face. Maybe I’ll demonically laugh at them like I did my bosses for being late. You’d probably love that.
Matt didn’t come over today. Either because of Brittany or his own mind I can’t say. He’s reading bible versus. Which again, you would find ridiculous. Brandon came over and helped me pack the kitchen. We donated the pots and pans, knives, utensils, strainers, and your grill tongs. Even the new ones you never used. We saved the glasses for your dad. His set sucks.
A younger couple moving out for the first time came and got the coffee table and side piece. They saw our first tv stand and wanted that too. It made me happy that it was going to a couple that was moving out for the first time like us. I think it would have made you happy to. We sold the new tv stand you picked out. But the guy said he was going to refinish it, sorry. I know you liked the blue.
We pushed what was left against the back wall in the living area. I gave Lexi your Mickey vans hoodie. Brandon is going to bring Nick by one night to get stuff. I packed up all your dvds in plastic bins and I’m going to store them at my dads so they are safe. We’re making Richie take the kids movies. I already made him take the fast and furious collection.
Chelsie showed me the last song you added to your Spotify playlist. Cold by Crossfade. I’ve been listening to it on repeat until I can get your phone back and listen to your wrapped 2021. I’m still trying to come up with that phrase that is more than I miss you. But for now, I miss you and I still love you endlessly.

Bathroom Renovations - A Few Tips
Bathroom renovations are an integral part of designing and maintaining the home. In this regard, there are various types of renovations, all which are meant to give a new look to the bathroom. Renovations include bathroom renovation ideas like bathroom window treatments and bathtub refinishing. However, it is important to keep in mind that before undertaking these activities you need to take into account many factors.
The very first factor that you need to consider is your budget, since different types of bathroom renovations bendigo require different levels of expenditure. Bathroom tiling is one such type of renovation activity, in which tiles are laid and slabs or shower pans are installed either permanently or temporarily. Bathroom tiles are either ceramic or porcelain in order to provide a high quality finish. Other factors that affect bathroom renovations include the fixtures and fittings, which must be in sync with the theme of the entire renovation project.
In addition, you also have to consider the existing features of the bathroom, including the plumbing, fixtures, taps and tiling as well as the hardware. For instance, you may want to change the faucet, which in turn would require fitting of new pipes. The main reason why people undertake bathroom renovations is to provide their homes with a brand new look. Therefore, it is imperative that you choose the right contractor, who would be able to understand your needs and guide you towards a successful renovation.

What are the advantages of our unique bathtub restoration process?
1. Enamel - we use a specially formulated liquid enamel that allows us to pour it on the bathtub, shower pan or sink.
2. No Spray - since we pour on the enamel, there are no toxic fumes or smell. Our product is nearly VOC-free. Definitely better for your health and the health of your tenants.
3. Thicker coat - other methods apply an extremely thin layer. Our enamel produces a coat that is 10 times thicker. What does that mean for you? It lasts longer. No need to respray every 6 months. Instead enjoy the product for 3-5 years.
4. Economical - the average price of a complete renovation of a bathroom is between $5000 - $15,000. Just to change the bathtub will run you in the thousands with the cost of labor. Other resurfacing methods may seem to cost less, but if you have to respray every 6 - 12 months - it's not cheaper. With our process we offer a 3 year limited commercial warranty. The upfront cost may be slightly more, but you will pay less in the long run.
5. Time Saver - a bathroom renovation or even bathtub replacement can take weeks if not months. Our process takes 3-4 hours and you can use the bathtub within 24 hours. Definitely a time saver.
Don't mess around with inferior techniques or complete renovations.
At Eco Tub Restoration we can restore your bathtubs in a fraction of the time and at a fraction of the cost while supporting your health.
