AWASE~

He pranks you all the time, just silly pranks like putting salt in your cereal. Nothing to serious but if he ruins something of your such as cereal he will make you more!

He welds you metal flowers with his quirk and says that cringy ass pick up line “my love for you will stop when this flower dies…btw it doesn’t die :)”

He tried making you food, sometimes it’s good sometimes it not- but you pretend to like it no matter what because it makes him happy and if you refuse it he will look dead in your eyes and say “eat it. Please.”

KAIBARA~

He likes gardening, he used his hands as drills in the dirt which makes it really easy to plant them. He asked you to pick out flowers and seeds to plant! He gives you the flowers he plants!

He loves playing with your hair, he loves curling it around his finger when he is bored

Whenever he gets hurt he whines until you kiss it better. You tend to his wounds then wait for you to kiss if

On the same topic he is kind of clumsy he trips over his own feet sometimes- but don’t worry he will be ok as long as you give him a kiss

KAMAKIRI~

He’s scared to kiss you sometimes because of the sharp appendages sticking out of his cheeks, he worries he may cut you. So you normally kiss him instead of him kissing you

He likes it when you compliment his hair, it makes him feel like a bad ass when you do!

He loves bugs so get him anything but relatable and he will be so touched! You also say he reminds you of a mantis, which he doesn’t mind. He’s sometimes insecure abt his looks so it helps!

KUROIRO~

He is like tokoyami, very poetic so he writes you poems sometimes. If you ask him to read them to you he will stammer over the words and blush about it, he is shy when it comes to you~

He scares you in the dark sometimes, like if the power goes out you literally can’t see him so he could jump scare you; “hey y/n” “HOLY SHIT!” “Oh I’m so sorry!”

He giggles like a dumbass, you could pop the most cringe at joke and he laughs like “hehehehehehehehehe” as if it’s actually funny

He acts cool to other people but once you come into the conversation he turns smitten

SHISHIDA~

He lets you brush his fur, he is sometimes to lazy to do it himself so he lets you do it instead

He sometimes thinks he scares you, he knows he looks a little scary because he is a ‘beast’ but he never wants to scare you so he has to make sure you aren’t. “I’m so sorry did I scare you!” “What no? You could never scare me your like a big teddy bear” “oh!”

You call him big boy to tease him, he blushes about it but does like it~ any time you call him that he covers his face with his hands!

SHODA~

He’s such a cutie patootie, he loves being held by you. When cuddling he will inch closer to you until you wrap your arms around him, he would ask but he’s too scared too

He is insecure since he is a little bigger BUT you make sure he does feel loved anyways by complimenting him or saying it doesn’t matter; “don’t you think I’m too big…?” “what? No! Your adorable!!!” He blushes :>

He cares for your wounds everytime, if you have a cut or something he will always disinfect it and bandage it, he also kisses it if he’s feeling brave!

TSUBURABA~

His idea of flirting is blowing you heart shaped bubbles your way with his quirk, if you pop them he sulks in the corner LOL

He literally thinks your a goddess, bro worships you and the ground you walk on, he would tie your shoes for you, or carry your bags whatever you want him to do!

His friends troll on him for liking you so much, he will NOT stop yapping about you.

Play with his hair. He will die if you don’t; “please I’m literally going to cry if you don’t” “Omg fine I’ll play with your hair.”

TETSUTETSU~

He also worships you but 10x harder, he would kiss your feet if you let him- which also means he is very protective of you. He would bark at anybody who tried anything funny with you

He tries flexing his quirk on you by doing dangerous things, most of the time he gets hurt and when you ask “why would you do that?” He says “I just wanted to impress you”

He worries you secretly like kirishima, since they are very similar. You heard him talking to kirishima saying if he ever when after you he would break him. After that you calmed him down and assured you wouldn’t leave him.

FUKIDASHI~

He makes cute little emoticons at you like (*^‿^*) to distract you from the fact that he is a walking thought bubble-

He reads your favorite manga just to impress you by bringing up scenes in stuff, he’s tryna make you think he is cool!

He’s canonically really short so he’s timid with you sometimes because you are much taller but if he uses his quirk right he can at most be 5,3 which ain’t the best either, you convince him that you don’t mind and honestly find it cute

He’s very shy when being romantic if he tries kissing you he mostly strikes out and flashes a sweat drop emoticon before turning away~

HONENUKI~

Out of everyone in that class he is the shyest with his partner, he is also very low in self esteem cuz of it.

He’s very insecure of his looks, he finds his teeth gross and scary, but you hold him and kiss his cheek letting him cry if he wants until he feels better

He’s great at massages, after training he always massages your neck and back! One time he accidentally hurt you and he cried a little over it-

He’s very funny, he’s your little comedian! He tells you silly knock knock jokes just to heard your sweet laugh~

BONDO~

He’s a very awkward boy, he is honestly shocked that he’s dating anyone let alone you. One he’s very socially awkward and looks different. But you asked him out anyway

He stutters sometimes when talking to you about dates or cuddling; “s-s..sure we can cuddle I g-guess.”

He doesn’t talk much, he definitely talks more than koda but he does shy away because he has voice cracks sometimes and it makes him feel stupid, you find it cute tho

MONOMA~

This little shit, he thinks it’s funny copying your quirk just to show you ‘how easy it is’ but most of the time it back fires and he gets hurt

He turns into such a big baby when he’s hurt, he whines like he’s paralyzed and begs you to care for him. “I need to be held it’s the only way I’ll be comfortable! In your arms!” “It’s not that serious. But fine.”

He’s really good at cooking, he makes full course meals and mostly eats it all himself. He saves a little bit for you tho

RIN~

He’s not shy, or awkward with you he’s just kind of…aloof- he sometimes just stared at you with a straight face like 😐 and when you ask what’s wrong he just goes “I’m just looking at your beauty?”

He loves laying in the sun, and watching the clouds n stuff with you, although he does get sun burned sometimes but he doesn’t listen when you tell him to put on sunscreen so he deserves it

He cares for you so hard, he lays blankets on you, he feeds you, he make sure you drink water! He is such a caregiver because he can’t handle if something happeneds to you.

CLASS 1B HEADCANNONS THAT MAKE SENSE

☰ NOTES⋮ reader! is in Class 1-A ; gn!reader x Class 1-B; some mildly suggestive themes

𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐒𝐄 tends to weld himself onto your side whenever he’s exhausted from training. It may earn him a scolding from Vlad-sensei or even Shiozaki-san, but you never complain and if Yosetsu gets to fall asleep cuddled in your warmth, that’s his prerogative.

𝐊𝐀𝐈𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐀 carries a polaroid of you in his wallet. It’s frayed at the edges from time, but it’s the first polaroid you ever took together. He keeps it alongside his provisional hero license because it’s the best motivation he has for the future.

𝐊𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐑𝐈 has a pet Rhinoceros Beetle he keeps in his dorm room. You caught the little guy when he took you bug-catching for your first date to the local park. It wasn’t until you compared him to the little guy with pink cheeks and a wide smile that Togaru just had to have him.

𝐊𝐔𝐑𝐎𝐈𝐑𝐎 hosts a seánce in your room every month. He would do it in his room, but Shiozaki’s room is close to his and he’d rather not be accused of sinful behaviour (as if your other activities aren’t sinful, but Shiozaki-san doesn’t need to know that).

𝐊𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐎 often plans informal joint class outings with Yaoyorozu so your classes can bond. It doesn’t always work—Mineta, Monoma and Bakugo are banned for the next three activites—but she’s just glad to see you mingle with her classmates.

𝐊𝐎𝐃𝐀𝐈 is a frequent vistitor of UA’s communal garden. In fact, she recently signed up to have her own plot so she can grow tomatoes and cucumbers—both for her and for you.

𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐎𝐙𝐀𝐊𝐈 was in her churchs’ choir. She doesn’t do it often, but if you’re especially tired than she’ll sing you to sleep. It works everytime.

𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐃𝐀 has an Uncle in France that he’s really close to. His Uncle is the person who told him the story of the Beast of Gevaudan, and the first person Jurota confided in about his crush on you. If you ever get married, his Uncle Daichi has offered his estate for the wedding.

𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐃𝐀 always wanted to give Boxing a go, but didn’t have the courage to visit a gym (largely due to his size) until you offered to join him. It’s one of the many things he’s grateful to you for and now something of a couples’ activity for the weekends.

𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐈 didn’t know you could speak English until you laughed at her insulting Monoma during a joint training session. Now, she begs you to talk in English whenever you’re together because she finds your accent really cute.

𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐁𝐔𝐑𝐀𝐁𝐀 definitely fainted the first time you agreed to study with him in his room. Bleeding nose and all. The same thing happened when you proposed to study in your own room so now you just work together in the common room. It’s better for his health that way.

𝐓𝐄𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐓𝐄𝐓𝐒𝐔 will deny it for as long as he can, but sometimes he does provoke you into a senseless argument. Namely because you have an adorable pouty face and his heart is reduced to a pandrum whenever you kabedon him to tell him off. It’s glorious.

𝐓𝐎𝐊𝐀𝐆𝐄 has a dinosaur onsie that she wears whenever she misses you. It’s not her colour, but it’s the same colour as your eyes so it’s automatically her favourite. She’s also got a matching pair for you in green, one that she’s planning to give you for your birthday.

𝐅𝐔𝐊𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐈 has an all year-round pass to the Manga Museum in Kyoto. It’s become a post-exam tradition to visit the Museum everytime you want a celebrate, because in addition to reading some of his favourite manga, you often stop for ramen on your way back to UA.

𝐇𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐍𝐔𝐊𝐈 tends to smell like jasmine and sweet orange with how often he lathers his hands in massaging oil. It earns him some light ribbing from the boys at first, but that ends as soon as you show up smelling the exact same from massaging Juzo in return.

𝐁𝐎𝐍𝐃𝐎 practiced his confession to you for two weeks because he didn’t want to stammer mid-confession. It didn’t work, but it turned out that you liked him with his stammer anyway; in fact, you have a nervous tic of over gesticulating which he soon found was endearing all the same.

𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐎𝐌𝐀 has a growing pile of Franco-Belgian comics in your room. 9/10 times his comics lead to an argument between him and your classmates whenever he comes over to take one back. Bakugo’s now petitioning to have him banned.

𝐘𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐈 is an avid fan of Kabuki theatre; in particular, the popular horror classic Yotsuya Kaidan. For your first Halloween as a couple, you dress as Tamiya Lemon and Oiwa. Not a conventional couple by any means, but it makes Reiko glow in a way you’ve never seen before so it’s worth it.

𝐑𝐈𝐍 read that couples who watch the first snowfall are destined to stay together forever so he plans your first date for late-Autum. He’s shivering for most of your time together, but there are two highlights by the end of the night: when you worriedly draped your scarf around his neck and when a snowflake landed on his cheek in the middle of a spontaneous kiss.

Awase -

Completely shattered, that nomu that almost killed him and Yaoyorozu in the forest was caused by you feeding the Lov information. He starts questioning every moment you two have ever had together. He honestly gets pissed at himself and you and everyone around him because he doesn't know how to handle it.

Sen -

He loved taking pictures of the two of you. You two had an entire photo album dedicated to all the little moments, every time you beat him in your favorite card game or that little drawing eri did of you two being held up by you. All of those memories captured with the same camera you got him for his birthday are now being turned to ash in a fireplace. He cant help but be still while something once so important suddenly means nothing to him.

Kamakiri -

He was the loudest when he realized. He couldn't stop him self from screaming at you for what youve done. He hates you. Youve almost killed him and his classmates ten times over but that wont stop him from wanting you to stay. Deep down he wanted it all to be a cruel prank you were pulling. But it never was.

Kuroiro -

He tried to keep it together. He really did. But at the end of the day he was barely able to make it to his dorm room in time before he broke down completely. His nonchalant front, completely shattered. He sobbed to the point he was choking on his tears. You were one of the only people who he really cared for, so why did you betray him like this?

Kendo -

She tries to save you. She tries to understand why you did this. Were they forcing you? Are they keeping someone close to you hostage? Are you being manipulated or controlled? The more she tries to understand, the more questions she askes the harder it becomes to understand her as she starts to breakdown at your feet.

Kodai -

She didnt say anything but she truly wanted too. She wanted to yell, scream and cry. She wanted to hit you for what you put the class through but she wanted to hug you as you were dragged away in cuffs. She was so conflicted about what she wanted to do. Her brain and heart were arguing over you but in the end she just ended up doing nothing, which ended up hurting a lot more than it should have.

Komori -

She seems more confused and in denial than anything else at first. She starts to distance herself from people and holes herself up in her room while she tries to understand what happened. Was everything you two did together meaningless? She could never forgive you for what you did, she hated you but at the same time she wanted you to walk through her dorm room door ranting about your new favorite thing like you always did.

Shiozaki -

Shes not mad or even that sad about your betrayal. Just disappointed. She would try to understand and she truly wants to forgive you, but she cant bring herself to do that. She would distance herself from everyone and it would take a while before shes ready to move forward again.

Shishida -

He tried to keep it together but it was really hard for him to do that since he was feeling hundreds of emotions in seconds. His breathing became uneven as he tried to assess the situation from a logical perspective and his voice breaks as he simply asks you "why?"

Shoda -

He really values trust so when you betrayed all of UA he was never the same. He tried to recover but he keeps everyone at arms length. When you first left, he was on the more 'ok' side of things. But after a few weeks and what happened had time to sink in is when it hits the hardest.

Pony -

She cant stop herself from screaming at you while tears run down her face. She switched to english because its easier for her so no one knew exactly what she was saying to you. Even if you could speak english you wouldent understand what she was saying between the sniffles and gasps of air.

Tsubaraba -

Hes in denial for so long when it originally happened. When you were officially revealed as the traitor he thought it was a joke. He started to calmly talk to you with simple phrases like "jokes like that arnt that funny yk." But over the next minute it would turn in to him begging for it to be a joke while completely breaking down in front of you.

Tetsutetsu -

He does everything he can to get answers out of you. Some other classmates of his have to hold him back from running over to you and punching you square in the stomach. He ends up staying in the UA gym for a few hours after curfew, beating a punching bag in anger and confusion until eventually he wears himself out and collapsed from exhaustion.

Tokage -

She wants to know why you did it. If there was a reason she could find it in herself to forgive you but if not, it would become better for her to act like you never exist. For a long time after that she would leave when your name was mentioned or anything that reminded her of you would suddenly be destroyed or hated by her as much as she hates you. Deep down however, she still wants to be you friend

Manga -

He blames himself more than he blames you. Hes supposed to be a hero so why couldn't he save the one person he cared about the most. Youre gone forever now and he blames ever but of it on himself. He cries a lot for the next couple weeks and sometimes he can feel himself wanting to send you a funny meme he found only to remember and go through all the heartbreak all over again.

Honenuki -

Another that blames it all on himself but at the same time he is really depressed about it. He heals for the most part but part of him still gets a little wave of sadness whenever he walks past your favorite cafe or when someone does that very specific hand movement that you used to do all the time. Every part of the situation breaks his being completely, and he even becomes slightly more hostile towards the people he spars with.

Bondo -

He stays silent for the most part. His silence being a mixture of disbelief and hurt. He even tries to help the rest of the class through it. He becomes the class therapist while he ends up insisting hes fine and dealing with it alone in his dorm room. He cant bring himself to destroy the memories of you so he simply puts them in a box and hides them under his bed.

Monoma -

Incredibly angry about it at first but the more time that passes the more it hurts him. The more he starts to blame himself. If he had an inferiority complex before it definitely worsened now that you betrayed him. You helped him through so much yet he cant help but feel it was all nothing to you.

Reiko -

she handles it better when in front of the class, or at least she tries too. She broke down once you were revealed, she broke down when you left and she breaks down every time shes behind closed doors. She cant handle seeing anyone right now.

Rin -

He keeps calm at first and tries to rationalize. "Were you forced to against your will? Were you being controlled? Brainwashed?" With every 'no' to his questions he became more and more desperate to prove you werent evil. He started to lose his cool and break down in front of you while still begging for any sign that your not evil. At the end of the day he finds himself grabbing onto a random stuffed animal you left in his dorm and using it to muffle his tear filled screams.

Bro imma be honest half of these characters I had no idea what to write. So half of them are probably bad but im not gonna proof read or change this because we die like men.

Class 1B and how they embarrassed themselves in front of their crushes (guys):

Ladies version will be made if this one doesn’t flop. Thank @thatgirlgames for helping me brainstorm and giving me something to cackle about at 4am(?) on a Wednesday

Awase Yousetsu learned to dance from Mina and was excited to show you. Called out to you and some of the others in the common room from the second floor hallway to “check out some fucking amazing moves”, then tripped over his own feet and went tumbling down the stairs. Landed face first and refused to lift up his head to look you in the eyes, even after you ran over to ask if he was okay.

Kaibara Sen and you were gardening together. He was helping you dig so he used his quirk to show off be more efficient. He drilled his arm into the dirt and oops he’s stuck. Laughs a little at first but he actually can’t get it out. The more he activates it the deeper it goes until the soil is well past his elbow. Has to sit there like an idiot until you return with a trowel- the very same one he said you “wouldn’t need” because his quirk was supposedly better.

Kamakiri Togaru was helping you cook and also used his quirk to try to impress you. It was your turn for dinner duty and he jumped at the chance to spend time with you. You two were cooking chicken with lemon butter sauce for the whole dorm. Turns out when you retract the blade back into your skin from just cutting a lemon it burns like a bitch. Let out the most unholy scream and scared the daylights out of you.

Kurorio Shihai and Tokoyami are poetic brothers. That and he likes taboos. He shows up outside your dorm room at midnight sharp because he thought it was more romantic that way. He’s holding a piece of lined paper, trying to read you a poem he wrote. But you have no clue what he’s talking about, using all these big fancy words you don’t understand. ☠️ Scary Night Man is visibly shaking in front of you, the hallway completely silent aside from his stuttering and the occasional crinkle of paper.

Shishida Jurota actually tried to meme with the class in the group chat. Unfortunately, he didn’t know what the words meant so he sounded like a whole ass boomer. Like when your dad misuses modern slang to sound cool in front of your friends. The guys still haven’t let him live it down. They have screenshots and everything.

Shoda Nirengeki tried to show you how much you meant to him by cooking your favorite things in the dorm kitchen. Thought you’d love to wake up to the smell of your favorite food wafting up to where you sleep. Instead you woke up to a fire alarm, and Shoda standing in the middle of all the carnage. Tried to offer you a bowl of cereal as a peace offering later.

Tsuburaba Kosei would do just about anything for you, so it’s more what didn’t he do to try and impress you. There’s just so many instances of him doing stupid shit. But one of the most iconic moments would probably have to be when the class went on a hike, and he found some cat tail reeds growing by a swamp. Picked one up and told you he “found some wild glizzies” before chomping into it like a corn dog. Pollen went everywhere, and he accidentally spit some in your face.

Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu has tried to prove how strong his quirk was by letting the guys fucking throw him like a damn bowling ball. Shishida did the best job in his opinion, followed closely by Bondo, but now there’s a giant hole in the drywall of the common room, and Vlad wasn’t too thrilled about it, making him clean it all up.

Fukidashi Manga tried impressing you by reading up and binge-watching your favorite shows and comics. All in one night. The next morning, running on zero sleep, he tried to impress you from what he’s read/watched and got most of the stuff wrong because his brain was pretty much toast from the all nighter and numerous energy drinks. Passed out in the middle of the day, and The Bois TM had to drag him to the nearest couch.

Honenuki Juzo offered to give you a massage after a long day of training. Grateful to have some sort of relief, you told him where the main knots were and sat down in front of him. This was the closest he’s ever been to you, so he was (understandably) nervous. As a result, he accidentally rubbed too hard in the wrong places and made it worse. Eventually you’ve had enough and say you’ll just take a hot shower and he feels so guilty🥺 You reassure him that it’s not so bad but every time you move he can see you fighting back painful noises. Definitely haunts him at night as he stares up at the ceiling asking himself “why are you like this”.

Bondo Kojiro was trying to impress you by lifting things up easily since you admired how strong he was. It started off normal enough, from bags you couldn’t carry to even giving you a piggyback ride to your room after you fell asleep on the couch downstairs during class movie night. But holy shit now he’s showing off by holding half the class in his arms, and ends up dropping them all because it was just Too Much. Everyone was covered in bruises and grumbling about the fall and he felt guilty for weeks after. The fact that you weren’t one of them does offer some peace of mind for him though, and Kendo is quick to remind him of this :’)

Monoma Neito copied your quirk for shits and giggles thinking he’d “show you how it’s done”. You warned him about the side effects, but his pride wouldn’t let him see reason and he made sure he had all eyes on him before activating your quirk. It went alright for about a minute or so, and then it started to act up. He couldn’t get a handle on it at all, destroying everything around the room while the guys laughed at him and you panicked. He got his ass handed to him just as you predicted, and mocking him quickly became an inside joke among some of your classmates.

Rin Hiryu is naturally cold blooded as a result of his quirk. He always has to be bundled up in the colder months or his immune system will turn against him. And yet, when it started raining on your way back from a grocery run for the week’s dinner, like a gentleman he shrugged his jacket off and insisted that you wear it. Of course you turned him down, you knew he’d get sick, but he refused to put it back on, throwing it over you and zipping it up. Sure enough, he ended up with a cold the next day, but the only lesson he learned was that getting sick means you dote on him until he’s better. 🤦

Sprinkles and spoons

The icecream shop at the top of Mitayashita Park, fluffy 'n' sweet would have normally been your go-to for a date, but he insisted on Udagawa Parfait. You know it's odd for him, since he doesn't like bitter food, and UP was made on the back of slightly bitter dark chocolate and the sour tartness of berries.

But you were willing to try for him.

He's nervous about the menu, since he refuses to look at it. You choose for him a Ruby Chocolate parfait, and for yourself a Dark Chocolate Dream. While you wait for them to arrive, you play a drawing game with Sho on your phone, trying to box in each other's lines, get the most amount of colour on a board.

When the icy treats are placed on your table, you take your spoon directly into the icecream, and eat it. It's a delight, a medley of chocolate layers, but not as bitter as you had thought. You look over, and Sho is tentatively sniffing the bite of icecream he has on his spoon, before he puts it in his mouth. Once he tastes it properly, his eyes widen and he takes another few hurried bites. You smile, and tap his hand for his attention. You offer him a spoonful of your own icecream, which he takes enthusiastically, and likewise he shoves a spoonful of his into your mouth. You trade bites like this between layers of the parfait.

Despite the heat outside, you'd never felt more content, than in that moment.

Class was normal to say the least, basic class schedule, learning, being bored. Actually sitting in a classroom all day was hellishily boring.

Juzo let out a groan whilst stretching his aching back, looking at the clock. "It's only been an hour?. Damn."

Ruffling his own hair he quickly got back to work. He may have been admitted through recommendations and has a great set of skills, but sitting around? Not his piece of cake. Turning around he saw (Name) sitting silently at her desk with a graceful smile on her face. She couldn't of looked any cuter.

Her tounge sticking out, she probably doesn't even notice it while she scribbles down in the exam given to them. Before he knew it lunch bell had rung, a break desperately needed from the class mates. Once a quiet class soon filled with "hoorays" and "food" exclamations from his fellow classmates. He put his stuff up accordingly to get back to when class resumed.

"Hey (name)! You wanna sit with us at lunch?." Pony asked jumping by her while she got her lunch out fron her bag. "Um. I was going to eat with Juzo today." He walked up briskly before shaking his head slowly.

"Nah it's okay, me and the guys were gonna sit up on the roof if you want to watch with the girls I won't mind." He smiled before helping her out of her seat. Pony beamed with utter happiness before swiftly yanking you from your seat and running off with you.

When lunch was over Juzo, shihai and monoma were discussing class work before a horror screech was heard from the halls. One might assume a villain had come through and attacked. Most of everyone stood looking around confused. But Juzo recognized the scream belonged to (Name) and immediately went to fight mode. He ran down the hall leaving his friends

Running into the class he looked over to the far end and seen (Name) standing on the class desk, seeing Juzo's entry she hopped off screaming before koala jumping on Juzo's form clinging for dear life. She was on the verge of tears at this point, he wrapped his arma around her protectively while looking around the room for any signs of danger, but couldn't find any.

"J-Juzo please. Please kill it. Kill it!." Bu nkw he's frantic, 'kill what? What do I do?.' And then he saw it. The biggest, and hairiest spider he's seen. Then it clicked. (Name) is terrfied of bugs. "(Name), it's just a spider." He said while shushing her and trying his best efforts to calm her but to no avail. By now all the classmates have come in the room. "I don't care! It's an abomination, a hellian. It needs to be-. " she looked up from the Crook of his neck to slat at the eight legged critter before seeing it jump a few feet closer to the two of them. "AAAHH." Throwing her head back into his neck he had no other choice.

This bug has bothered his girl long enough, he will not lose to a hairy jerk. Before the spider could get any closer Juzo activated his Quirk. The hard surface turned to liquid swallowing the creature inbits depths before he tapped his foot again turning the floor a solid again.

"It's okay babe. Your safe now. Safe." Craddling her closer her sobbing ceased giving Juzo a kiss on the cheek. "You're my hero."

"My otp." Kinoko said while having little hearts forming above her head. Kamakiri on the other hand felt greatly offended.

"Hey! I could've gotten it!."

Monoma broke into a fit of laughter teasing (Name). "Honestly! How can we beat class 1-A if you're afraid of one little hairy bug? (Name) you whimp I thought you were stronger than that." Kendo soon knocked him out, "Okay guys let's get this exam done!."

class 1-B and night routines

Monoma: if monoma doesn’t annoy at least 2 people per night he simply will not sleep. Wears the comfiest pyjamas- like a 100% cotton top and plaid pj bottoms and everyones so fuckin jealous. He tells everyone he has a 16 step self-care routine he does every night but he really just brushes his teeth and then sits on his phone for like 2 hours? Ike what do you GET out of lying??? 

Tetsutetsu: he thinks going to bed after 11pm is criminal. Literally doesn’t understand the cryptidcrew™️ who DONT MF SLEEP. Works out before bed which is 👌🏻👌🏻 OOF. Aw hes the type of friend to make everyone tea and toast and send them asmr videos if they cant sleep i love him. He usually spends his night dancing around with pony and working off all his ENERGY

Kendo: “yall im turning into bed i’m too tired for this shit” “kendo it’s 7pm”

My girl will retire to her room as early as she can (usually with the rest of the girls) and she just RELAXES. Like self-care to the max: paints her nails, watches tv, plans her tomorrow, showers. She’s usually asleep at 10pm and wakes up the next morning full energy I want what she has

Awase: he has the WORST sleep schedule like fr. Literally sits up on tiktok until 3am and he’s just like “oh shit i’m up at 7…” *continues scrolling* like bro GET UR ASS TO BED U HAVE TRAINING AT 6AM. His night routine ain’t anything special- he sleeps in sweats and always keeps his window open (although someone told him about banshees once and now hes lowkey terrified lmao)

Kaibara- the type to fall asleep on the sofa and wake up at 4 in the morning to find tsuburaba in the kitchen eating a full course meal and he just SIGHS and goes up to bed in the worst mood bc why tf are his friends so WEIRD. Likes to watch the stars and edit pictures before he sleeps- its so therapeutic to him and also productive so he’s winning

Rin- he drinks coffee every night after midnight and then goes “oh my fuck shit i just drank coffee why am i like this” like congrats u fuckin dumbass now u ain’t gonna sleep. And he never fuckin learns. Always does his hw at like 11pm, Also stays up way too late binge-watching star wars smh 

Tsuburaba: he gets up every night and treats himself to a three-course meal in the kitchen no cap no sound awareness my man will be blending shit full blast at 2 in the morning. Usually falls asleep sitting at the kitchen table and he 👏🏻 needs 👏🏻 a 👏🏻 chiropractor 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. Also always forgets to do his homework until everyone’s packing up to go to bed and hes like “please,, anyone,, the math?”. Shoda wants to punch him so bad

Ibara: the most well-structured person in the entire building. At 7pm she has her shower, at 8:30pm she goes to pray, at 9:30pm she journals and draws to calm her mind, and at 10pm she meditates until she falls asleep- which is usually 10:20pm.. Everyone wants her self control and independance like damn how does she FUNCTION. Also queen of vegan self-care remedies 

Pony: girl is chaotic as fuck it’ll be like 10pm and rin’s like “yo pony can i copy the hw??” And shes like “WHAT HOMEWORK.” . *cue two idiots freaking tf out*. She’s always wearing matching pj sets and fluffy socks and loves sliding around in them like a dork. Dances every night before bed to tire herself out like shes just in the lounge deadass vibing to taylor swift and a new person joins her everytime . people would be dead without her

Kodai: movies every night or she won’t go to class the next morning. Shes always just sitting on her phone w earphones in like she has absoloutely no time to deal with monoma’s shit so she just peaces tf out of existence. Cutest pyjamas ever i love her pyjama queen. The go-to girl for homework she just leaves her bag open, as long as u return it shes cool

Tokage: oh my god shes so CRYPTIC and FOR WHAT. Pranks pranks pranks pranks pranks. everyone hates her for it and she loves it so bad. Like she has the balls to prank kamakiri and that TAKES BALLS LET ME JUST SAY . she’ll just leave her body parts in people’s beds and its SO annoying. They usually just pick up her stray arm and fling it at the wall in revenge then act confused the next morning when she complains abt the bruises 

Komori: cryptic as fuck. Does she sleep? Why is she always sitting at the table? What is she doing? . Closes her tabs whenever someone comes into the dining room and just stares at them til they leave again like :)). In the garden every night til she can’t bear the coldness- watches the stars and makes flower crowns and worships the moon i love her

Kuroiro: nighttime is the time he just evaporates like where tf is he like 🙄🙄 reel it in randy from monsters inc . Hiding in the walls and listening to everyones conversations and secrets is his only skill in life . Everyone thinks he doesn’t sleep and just wanders around (he does, he just likes to have an edgy reputation)

Kamakiri- did you hear that?? oh its just kamakiri fistfighting monoma in the hallway again. Fr takes no prisoners he needs his beauty sleep (or idk do bugs sleep lmao??). If you’re in his way while he’s RAMPAGING to his room youre dead bro when i say he takes bedtime routines seriously i MEAN it. Bondo- 9pm. Wind down time. A good book is all my mans needs and he’ll be out for the count in absolutely no time at all. Fukidashi will die jealous and bondo fucking loves it. Reiko: energy drink addiction 101 if she doesn’t drink monster every night before bed she’s convinced she’ll die. “I sleep all day and party all night” she says, crying over math hw at 2am. Plays music too loud and has LED strobelites on ALL NIGHT. Shes deadass doing witchcraft in the lounge w komori all night during finals week she doesnt give a single fuck x

Shishida: another reader,, mans will finish an entire book in a night by the force of sheer willpower alone. Takes a bath every night and it makes his fur so fluffy and smell like apples smdnwjdnwd. Perfect snuggle buddy for wintertimes (pony LOVES HIM) and he’s that good man who carries tsuburaba to bed when he falls asleep at the kitchen table

Shoda: “please don’t speak to me while im doing my homework im 👌🏻 this close to having a mental breakdown and all it takes is a single poke to reel me over the edge.” Complains all day about being tired then goes to bed at 2am?? Like no shit ofc ur tired bitch . Always up for a deep talk at night he knows EVERYTHING abt EVERYONE and hes so trustworthy hed never tell a soul

Honenuki: he meal preps and does yoga before bed 🤢 like WHO HAS THAT MOTIVATION. Irons and sets his uniform out for the next day before getting his homework FINISHED by 9pm . He’s pretty flexible w what he does at nights it 100% depends on his mood. Usually he’s helping Tokage with pranks or working out w tetsutetsu tho. Used to annoy people who were up doing hw after 11 like “really tsuburaba? You should be ashamed”. Shoda almost DECKED him once for it tho and he was #traumatised and never did it again

Just Fine

Pairing: Reader x N. Monoma, Reader x S. Todoroki Rating: G Words: 4k279 Warnings: Angst, mentions of panic attacks, emotional affair, kiss, Todoroki’s a little ooc-- but does that really matter in the long run? Requested by: No one, but feel free to request! Request/ Prompt: Monoma has to cope with his loss. Sure Y/n had been upgraded in class level, but that doesn’t mean she’ll upgrade out of him, right?   

    UA’s annual sports festival was monumental every year, but it seemed like everything shifted after the declaration of winners. Sure the competition itself had been a little weird, the students were exposed to each other and the world-- for better or worse, but it was what came after which would change the future of everyone involved.

For Y/n, it was for the best. The entrance exam had worked against her in many ways. For one, it was against robots, rendering her quirk practically useless. Secondly, she was placed with all of the heavy-hitters. This left her ranking very far down on the scale. She placed twenty third out of all first years in the exams, securing her a spot in class 1-B. 

During her time there, she grew extraordinarily close to the students in the class. Tetsutetsu had become like an older brother to her, he trained her tirelessly in hand-to-hand combat until she was one of the best in the class. She knew that he was there for her, and he had earned her respect very quickly.

Pony had also grown close to Y/n. They got on like a house on fire, mostly to them both having not an ill-willed bone in their bodies. They were often seen as ‘the sweethearts of 1-b’ and were protected by their class, even though they were both arguably the strongest people in the class. They’re some of the only people who hang out activities outside of school (i.e. movies, parties, sleep-overs).

And then there was Neito. They hadn’t started out on the best of terms- Y/n had told him to never copy her quirk, “It’s too dangerous”. Sadly, Monoma took this as a challenge. During their first group fight, he copied off of her without knowing what she could do. 

Y/n’s quirk is known as “Blinding,” a quirk that allows her, when someone makes eye-contact with her left eye, to blind them or gives them a ‘blinding’ headache. While this is dependent on how long they stare, it automatically stuns her opponent. 

Monoma had no clue that, because of this, her left eye can never be used as an actual eye, so he was blind out of his eye for two days, and he blinded Kendo. Lesson learned, he never copied her again. For the two days, he was half-sighted.

From then on, before she trained with Tetsutetsu, Y/n would spend an hour helping Monoma use her quirk, so if he ever had to he wouldn’t be hurt too much by it. Needless to say, they ended up spending a good chunk of time together.

Oh, sweet Neito, who was able to charm and hair-sweep his way into Y/n’s heart. In a month the two were dating, and everything was warm cuddles and hand-holding. Locked pinkies in the halls and ‘I love you’ notes left on their desks filled their lives, and they’ve never been happier. 

Y/n had comforted him after 1-A fought the villains, she was the only one able to help him with the inferiority complex that ate away at his head and chained him to his bed every morning.  She glared at the other class for reasons they had no control over, and even though everyone held her much higher than that, she loathed them for it.

This class had hurt her wonderful boyfriend who was ashamed of his own quirk, who wanted him and his classmates to have a chance to prove themselves. This class had unknowingly ruined him for days, the class that thought they were famous because of their misfortune- they knew nothing of misfortune.

And then the sports festival came along, and class 1-B made a group pact not to be spiteful towards their partner class, and even though he was very reluctant, Y/n made sure Neito did it as well. They would be humble winners or gracious losers, they would be better than everyone thought they would be.

The first round started all too suddenly. The crowds seemed to suffocate Y/n, her quirk-driven social anxiety was at a high peak, and her only current comfort was the eye-patch that laid over her left would-be eye. 

Hyperveteling and shaking, a hand grabbed her waist and pulled her forward, swooping of the wall and sliding to the front. With her eye shut (thank god it was) she hadn’t seen herself glid along the ice that her savior was pulling her on. 

“Sorry for grabbing you like that, I just recognized some signs and didn’t want to risk a possible anxiety-attack,”

Finding her grounding, Y/n finally saw the heterochromatic boy who saved her. “Thank you,” she breathed out, before looking forward with the few other people. 

At the end of the day, she had finished fifth in the race. Her quirk didn’t help, but her training sessions with Tetsutetsu did. The observers hadn’t said much about her, but they all noticed her appearance and the lack of quirk usage in that match. 

The second stage started, and most of Class 1-B flocked to Y/n or Ibara. She had ended up hand-picking her team. Sadly, Monoma had already been a part of a team, so she recruited Shinso, her friend from General Studies, Shoda, and Tetsutetsu to be her teammates. 

They faired very well with little drama, and Shinso had been kept in line and only brainwashed Shoda and Tetsutesu, leaving Y/n well aware and able to front the team with Shinso on top. Y/n hadn’t used her quirk during the Cavalry Battle, as she supported her team with strategy and strength. 

They ended up in second place, much to three of their’s delight. Shoda had excused himself from the festival, leaving Y/n with one less friendly face going into the next round.

And finally, the one-on-one fighting, and the drama it brought with it. Neito hadn’t passed the calvary battle, but he supported her through her battles. He cheered loudly for her, and he waited for her after her match.  

Her first opponent was Ashido, a pink-haired girl from 1-A that always seemed to be yelling about one thing or another. Y/n had removed her eye-patch for the match, and she was prepared to use her quirk if she had to.

It ended quickly, a nice warm up her boyfriend would have called it. The other girl had put up a good fight, but her curiosity got the best of her during the very beginning. The blindness made her easy to maneuver, and her fear only helped Y/n win, but it weighed heavily on her conscience. 

Y/n sat with her class during the other battles. She watched the match between her savior and another student in awe. Her eye sparkled brightly and she sat on the edge of her seat. It was the kind of match that left both members and the audience satisfied, but Monoma was less than pleased at her fawning.

Y/n rolled her eyes at his remark, slightly annoyed but unwilling to make more of it than it was. She made her way to her second match- the nerves had eaten at her, and she had hoped her boyfriend would give her words of comfort. That didn’t work out. 

The match had gone on for longer. Tokoyami’s quirk was terrifying to her, but he had looked her in the eyes when calling upon it. Her fear may have pushed her to go further with her quirk than she thought she was going to. 

He fought with the pain, and he tried to stand after falling to the ground. Tears had started to fall from his eyes, and Y/n started to plead with him to forfeit. She had planned on giving him enough of a headache for him not to be able to tell Dark Shadow where to go, but she had pushed too hard. 

He fought, but the pain wore him down to surrender. She was quick to release her hold on him, but she was afraid to look up from the floor after that. Y/n had rushed away from the peering eyes, and tears began to fall to the floor.

She collided with a chest in her rush, a hand stabilized her before she could fall back. 

“Sorry about that, I don’t mean to be grabbing your waist so often,” a quiet voice resonated above her. She took a step back to see a new familiar face.

“It’s not a problem,” she rushed out before looking back to the floor.

“Hey, I wanted to congratulate you on your win, your quirk is very powerful,”

“Yeah,” she whispered, “I know.”

“Is everything okay?” He placed a hand on her shoulder, but she refused to look at him.

“Your friend, the one I was fighting, I hurt him more than I meant to,”

“I wouldn’t worry about it,” he soothed her shoulder, “his ego’s bruised more than anything else. It’s not your fault, you were doing what you were supposed to do- as was he. This is the one time we, as students, are allowed to use our powers like we’re being threatened. And you had medical on call, it was the safest place for it to have happened. You were just in the festival spirit.”

“I was careless,” she argued.

“You were frightened,” he hooked a finger under her chin and lifted her face up to meet his eyes, “and you have nothing to be ashamed of.”

A blush had betrayed her, and she was quick to put some distance between the two of them. 

“I- I’m sorry,” Todoroki was the one blushing now. “I just thought that you- I didn’t mean-”

“No! It’s okay, I’m just in a relationship and-”

“Y/n!” A voice echoed down the hall. Both parties looked to the dark, and they saw Monoma run up to them. “You did such a good job up there! I’m so proud of you,” Neito pulled her into a hug and kissed her forehead.

“Thank’s babe,” she said back, awkwardly patting his back. “Hey, babe? Meet uhh...” she scratched the back of her neck.

“Todoroki Shoto, It’s a pleasure to meet you,” he stuck his hand out towards the blond.

“Monoma Neito, and I’m sure it is,” he shook his hand.

“Babe!” Y/n slapped his chest. “Remember the deal?”

“Right, right,” he sighed at her, “The pleasure is mine.”

“Thank’s again Todoroki, it meant a lot! I’ll see you around, okay?”

“Yeah,” he waved at her as the pair walked away. “I’ll see yah,” he whispered to an empty hall with only their bickering echoing back at him.

That was her first actual conversation with her savior, and to their words they did meet again. Y/n had fought one Iida Tenya in the semi-finals. He was quick and learned to not look her in the eyes, but after spending months training more than anything else, Y/n had gained enough muscle mass to prove herself worthy. 

She had managed to trick him out of the match- he was too distracted at not looking at her eyes to look where he was running. She felt a little dirty, but she won the match. He was gracious and shook her hand after it. He was a little embarrassed, but he wasn’t hurt.

The other semi-final match had started by the time she made it back to her seat. She was rushing, but it was futile. She didn’t miss much, however, as the first punch was thrown but nothing else.

Going back to her awe-struck position, she watched the match like it was the only other thing in the world. Class 1-B showered her with praise, but some of them had started to grow weary of their friends' popularity. They saw where this was going.

Class 1-A watched the match with eager eyes, and they commented on Todoroki returning to only using his ice-side. They also seemed to notice that he fought much harder than he usually did. He was thought out- calculated. The complete opposite of Bakugo. And for this, he ended up scrapping his way to the winning position.

And then the finals. The last fight in the tournament and Y/n wasn’t sure if she was able to face him. Todoroki had started to consume every thought she had, and clearing her mind was too difficult of a task for her. 

In a blink of an eye she was standing across from him. “Hey, Todoroki!” She called across the small arena.

“Yes?”

“Promise me you won’t hold back, okay?” She smiled at him, and Monoma glared from the stands.

“Only if you do the same,” he agreed before getting into his fighting stance.

The match had ended with ice scattered around the stadium, and charred marks up and down the walls. The fight felt like it wasn’t going to come to a close, but they promised each other not to hold back. So, of course, Y/n would stay true to her word.

The first was his sight that she took away. He responded with an ice dome surrounding himself- blocking her from any way to get to him. She knew that they didn’t look him in the eyes long enough for her to use a special ability- well at least not the one she was planning on using. 

Instead of Mealt-Down, she settled on using Nausea- by rapidly changing the severity of his blindness, she would cause server fatigue and pain, not to mention the distortion he would feel. 

He still fought back, slowly pushing his ice out trying to force her from the arena. She had made her way on top of the ice, slipping the entire way up. She continued to re-adjust her position, trying to wear down on him until he couldn’t do anything. 

After what felt like all too long, he had passed out from the vertigo that she inflicted on him. She was anything but proud of herself, as she made her way through his ice to carry his sleeping figure out of the arena. 

Crowds cheered for her, even though she never actually fought fought someone during the games- she had won, but it didn’t feel right. It felt dirty to take the win, but she knew that if someone had let her win after she passed out it would feel the same. 

The migraine that hit Y/n stayed for the rest of the day. Even on the podium getting the medal she didn’t deserve, she squinted at the sun. Her eye-patch in its place and her pride on the ground, she accepted what All-Might presented her with,  but she never looked up.

Y/n never had a formal chance to say goodbye to class 1-B. She had been called into the principal's office before school two days later. She knocked on the door, anxiously waiting. 

“Come on in Y/L/N,” Principal Nezu’s high-pitched voice called her in.

“Senai Sekijiro?” Y/n questioned, before sitting across from her teacher at the long desk.

“Y/L/N, you fought extraordinarily well during the sports festival. Your control over your quirk has improved greatly over your time with me, and you have become physically stronger as well. Sadly, my time as your homeroom teacher has come to an end,” he sighed and looked down. The pain in his eyes was too visible for him to look at his prize pupil.

“Sensai? I don’t understand, am I being expelled?” She looked rapidly between the three men sitting across from her. 

“No, Y/l/n, you’ve misunderstood us,” Nezu voiced out.

“Quite the opposite, after much deliberation, you have been transferred into class 1-A,” a man who she hadn’t met before spoke for the first time.

“Y/l/n,” Sensai Sekijiro said, “I would like you to meet your new homeroom teacher, Sensai Aizawa. He is very skilled and I have the utmost faith in his ability to help you grow,”

Y/n had decided that if she were to say much she would begin to cry. She had grown attached to her teacher, he had supported her through a lot. Sure it hasn’t been more than a year, but he had helped her when her quirk became too much, when she couldn’t look from the floor, and when she couldn’t open her eyes.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you sir, and it’s an honor to be taught under you,” Y/n’s y/e/c eye didn’t look up from the dark-oak desk that held her full attention. 

Yes it was rude, and yes Aizawa sent her previous teacher a look for it, but with the stress that the situation Y/n couldn’t guarantee that her quirk wouldn’t activate by itself. There were many precautions, but the eyepatch didn’t always work during extraordinarily emotionally taxing times. 

It took weeks before Y/n could look Sensai Sekijiro in the eye after she accidentally triggered her quirk during a science lab and gave him a slight headache.

“Y/l/n,” Sensai Aizawa voiced out. “You can look in my eyes, I promise that you won’t hurt me. If t would make you more comfortable, I will erase your quirk when you do. Just for a handshake,” he nudged her. 

The two teachers had talked before the meeting. Kan was very attached to his best student, so he wanted to make the transition as easy for her as possible. So, he gave Aizawa a few pointers. Like for one, seat her at the back of the room. Y/n likes to control who she looks at and when, and if she’s in the back she can easily advert her eyes if she has to. 

For another, she is very ashamed of her quirk. He told him that she has hurt many people by accident, and her insecurities are plentiful. For her to grow, she needs to be reassured that there is nothing wrong with her ability.

A third, the easiest way to establish a trusting relationship with her, is to have her look him in the eyes early on. If she’s looked into his eyes early on, she will feel more comfortable doing so in the future. 

And his last tip when handling her is to sit her near the students who aren’t too loud. She takes time to trust, and she’ll need a quick friend, and those with loud personalities can easily trigger her into a flight or fight response.

At the time Aizawa thought his pointers were stupid. This is a person who is going to be a hero, not a toddler. But now, as he sits so much higher up than she is, he understands. It’s not about how old she is. This is a girl who clearly has seen things that no one should, let alone a child. He knew nothing of her world outside of school, but he had his doubts on how kid-friendly those around her were.

So here he was, coaxing a girl afraid of her power to look him in the eyes. Once she lifted her head, he activated his quirk. 

“It’s a pleasure to meet you, I have heard incredible things from Sensai Sekijiro, and I witnessed your abilities and the tournament. I look forward to teaching you,”

And then she was thrown into a new class. Sensai Aizawa had been very kind to her so far. He told her that she could introduce herself if she would like, and she will be sat in the middle of the back row, with his best students on her sides to help her if she ever needs it.

Y/n stood outside as class began until she got the signal to come in. Introductions had gone seamlessly, and she had started to answer questions.

Her first one was from one of the runner-ups in the festival, the one with green hair. “I was wondering what your quirk was, I mean we saw it at the festival, but it would be nice to know a bit more,”

“Of course, My quirk is called Blinding. I can give an opponent anything from a minor headache to taking away their ability to see or process sound. 

“What did you do to Todoroki?” A girl with long hair in a ponytail asked from the back, next to her empty seat. 

“I used one of my ultimate moves, Nausea. I worked on it for a very long time, but it’s kinda hard to explain,” Y/n scratched her neck embarrassed.

“I have a question,” Todoroki raised his hand.

“Yes?”

“Do you still have a boyfriend?”

Transitioning went over very well. After a few weeks, it was like Y/n had always been a part of 1-A. Sure it was a little weird for the rest of the class when a few random members of 1-B would join them at lunch is Y/n sat at their table, or when they walk into homeroom to see a group of them at her desk, but they couldn’t expect her to just abandon all of her friends from her old class, right?

Slowly the crowds wore down, and only three or four people would be at her desk until the warning bell. Pony was always there, smiling and sweet and talking about everything that crossed her mind. 

Testsutestu was always there as well, he held constant arm-wrestles with Y/n every morning, and he always waited for her after class so they could continue to train together. 

A few others would rotate through in the morning, but not once did Neito walk into classroom 1-A. He would almost, every morning he would almost walk in to say hello, but he never could. Just like he could never sit with her at lunch if she sat with them.  It was petty, but that was just how it had to be.

After a while, class 1A won over Y/n. She spent a lot of her time with them. Whether it be with Mina, who always wanted to brush through her hair, or Tokoyami (who she never stopped apologizing to). She hung out with Midoriya and Yaoyarozu, and soon they all understood exactly why class 1-B was spending their free time with her. 

Even later though, Todoroki always seemed to be the one to catch her when she was falling. He told her on her second day that he still wanted a chance with her, and if anything ever changed with her and Monoma to tell him.

He wasn’t a bad guy, Y/n was well-aware that Todoroki was smart, strong, dedicate, very hot, and a guy that most girls dream about. But she already had her prince (maybe-not-so-charming), and she couldn’t cheat on him.

But with every ‘almost’ Y/n grew closer and closer to Todoroki, and she drifted further and further away from him. It was only a matter of time, he knew. He could feel it.

“Monoma,” Y/n smiled at her boyfriend before sitting across from him in their booth at the cafeteria. It was after school and empty, the perfect time. 

“Y/n... I missed you,” he whispered, looking in her eye.

“Yeah,” she sighed, “I missed you too.”

“I’ve been wanting to see you- I’ve been meaning to ask-”

“Monoma, I’m so sorry,” tears had gathered in her eyes before she even had the chance to say what she was apologizing for.

“Sorry? I don’t-” he stopped talking when he understood. “You’re leaving me.”

“I’m so sorry love,” she sniffled, “I love you so much,” her tears became sobs as she looked down. Her hand reached out to grab the back of his. “I never meant fo this to-”

“Who was it?” His cold voice was leveled, and it almost hid his sadness with anger.

“I don’t think that ma-”

“Who took you from me damn it!” He flung his hand away from hers.

“Monoma, I-”

“FIrst that awful class steals you away from me, and now one of those students took your heart, and I need to know who to blame,” he’s yelling, but he knows it won’t fool Y/n. She always saw right through it, right through him. 

Y/n stood up from her seat to face Monoma. He had stood during his yelling, but now he was shaking. Whether from his anger or sadness, he didn’t know, but Y/n did.

She pulled him into a hug, and he collapsed against her. Tears soaked her shoulder and his full weight slumped against her. “It’s okay, love. It’ll be okay,”

All he could do was ask himself what he did wrong, where he messed up. He finally scored the love of his life, and now she was gone- slipping through his fingers- into the arms of another.

Her phone rang from its place on the table, pulling their hug apart.

“Yes?” She answered. “Yeah, I remembered. Don’t worry about it! Alright, I’ll be right there, see you soon,” she ended the call and slipped it into her bag. 

“I have to go,” she put her arm through her bag and stood up straight. “Will you be okay?” She walked right up to him, putting a hand on his cheek. 

He closed his eyes on instinct and leaned into her touch. She smiled softly at him, this would be the last time they saw each other like this. He opened his eyes and lifted her head up. Slowly, he leaned in, his eyes flickering up to hers once their lips are almost touching.

With a broken breath, she leaned in, kissing him harder than she ever has before. She traced her name into his lip with this kiss, and he poured all of his emotions into it, pulling her close with his left hand while his right tugged lightly at the base of her hair. Her lips felt a loss when they pulled away for air- their world had ended. 

“I’ll be just fine.”

Summary: You have known Kaibara for along time, you both being good friends. He starts to get distant and you decide to confront him.

A/N: I wish there was more on Sen Kaibara, he’s a sweet bean.

You weren’t sure how long you’ve known Sen Kaibara for. You knew you both were neighbors when you were young and promised to go to the same school and that you both had a tight bond. You both had tried your hardest to get into the same school, cheering for each other the whole way even when you were competing against each other.

He wanted to be a pro hero, you wanted to be a rescue hero.

You both had luckily made it into the same school, just different classes.

“Kaibara!” You sang as you walked into the classroom 1-B. The boy turned towards you in his desk.

“Good morning (Y/N).” He spoke as he turned towards you. You sat on his desk, wanting to keep his attention for as long as possible.

“Tetsutetsu told me I could find you here.” You said, crossing your legs. “I was looking for you this morning, we usually walk together. What happened?”

“I just have a lot going on.” He grinned. “What, did you miss me?” He asked.

You stood up abruptly at that question, your face tinting pink as you looked towards the door Kendo gave you a thumbs up and you shook your head. “Absolutely not!” You snapped at him. Like always he didn’t show much emotion to it.  You brushed off your skirt and walked towards the door. “I’ve gotta go to class.” You mumbled and walked out the door, pulling Kendo with you. You could faintly hear him curse under his breath as you left.

“(Y/N)! What's wrong?” She asked, pulling you to a stop further down the hall.

“He’s been acting weird lately!” You said, leaning against the wall. You stared down at your hands, before intertwining them.

“He seems the same to me?” She said, her hand resting on your shoulders. Greeting her passing classmates with a smile.

“We’ve known each other so long and he’s just been… Different.” You sighed, trying to find a word that would describe what you were thinking was difficult. So you just went with the one you thought of first. It wasn’t right, but it also wasn’t wrong.

“Give him some time. He’ll come around.” She reassured you with a pat on your shoulder. You smiled at her, slowly walking away. You decided it was best to head to class. A few of your classmates noticed your crushed mood and tried to cheer you up but you only could give them half-smiles at their attempts.

During lunch, you tried finding Sen, but his classmates wouldn’t tell you where he was. Apparently, he needed some time alone to think. You had almost gotten Shoda to tell you but Monoma had pulled him away when you had just cracked him.

After school, you had found him at the front gates when you were just leaving the building. He wasn’t waiting for you again. It crushed you even more, but this time you were irritated.

“Kaibara!” You yelled. You watched him turn towards you and stop. He wasn’t expecting it to be you. You only had ever used his first name as far as he could remember. Others had turned at your yell in surprise but continued on their way as you stomped up to him angrily.

“Oh hey.”

“We need to talk. Now.” You said, straightening you back. You grabbed his hand and pulled him off towards the side of the building, away from the exit gate. You stopped and crossed your arms before sighing.

“What’s going on with you, Sen?” You asked, beginning to pace around in front of him.

“What do you mean? I’m fine?”

“You’ve just been acting really weird and I’m worried for you!”

(Y/N) I’ve-”

“You’ve been avoiding me during lunch!”

“I-”

“You’ve been walking to school and home without me!”

“Hey-”

“You’ve been whispering to others when I’m around!”

“I’m scared you don't wanna be my friend anymore!”

He grabbed onto your arms and pulled your pacing figure to him.“Shut up for a minute!” He finally snapped. You covered your mouth.

“Sorry, Sen.” You mumbled through your fingers.

“If you’d let me explain, maybe you’d understand?”

You nodded, he turned around. His stoic features replacing his concern filled one.

“I don’t know how to say this but…” He began, then shook his head, thinking over the words he could say to you. You knew he was trying to find an excuse for his actions. You didn’t want any more excuses, just the truth.

“Sen?” You asked after a moment when he didn’t continue.

He grabbed your hands, his face getting close to yours. “I like you!” He shouted. You flinched back then laughed.

You continued to laugh and he got worried, thinking he had done something wrong.

“You should have said so sooner!” You said as you gave him a bright smile.

“What?” He asked, confused about why you were laughing.

“Here I thought you didn’t want to be friends anymore!”

“Is that it?”

“Oh! No, I do like you too, Sen. I have for a while.” You looked up at him, seeing a smile on his face.

He reached into his bag, pulling out a manila envelope. “I was so distant because I didn’t want you to find out about this?” He handed the envelope to you.

You quirked your eyebrows and opened it. Your eyes widening at the collage of pictures and movie tickets, and a date plan. You looked up at him and your face softened. “You had a plan?”

“I did. But better now than later, right?” He asked and shrugged. You flung yourself at him, wrapping your arms around his shoulders. You both fell to the ground as you hung out him.

“Thank you!” You whispered and pushed yourself up. He lifted his hand up and pushed the hanging hair behind your face.

“It’s all worth it for you.”
