imagine asking kenjiro shirabu to do your eyeliner. as a doctor he has, of course, very still hands and that's perfect to do these annoyingly difficult lines. so you just sit there, perched on his lap, as he gently holds your face with one hand while the other was occupied with drawing your eyeliner.

KINKTOBER MASTERLIST / KO-FI JAR / COMMISSIONS
After a long day of studying, if there is any reward worth waiting for, it's you.
You did this to yourself.
He'd been in another one of those spells of his where he would lock himself in his room and study, and you felt bad…
You were the one who had offered.
And yet here you were, face buried into his chest, voice muffled by his sweatshirt—
You could feel it.
His cock pulsed steadily inside of you, your eyes fluttering at the mere sensation of being so full. Whines fell from your lips, and you would try to move—to shift on his lap, to try to get even the slightest bit of stimulation, doing your very best to hold keep yourself from rocking against him—but it was so difficult.
It was nearly unfair.
How could he act so casual about all of this?
You could hear the familiar sound of his pen scratching against the paper of his notebook, and while you would normally find it comforting, now it was anything but.
“‘Jirooo…”
Again you nuzzled into his chest, feeling his free hand dig its nails into the exposed skin on your waist in warning. A little hum was all else that you got in reply; he kept writing, attention focused on his notes with that same aura of concentration that had always had you so completely and utterly enthralled by him. Just the thought of it made you clench around his cock, and he pressed into your skin once more.
Pen placed gently back on the table, you heard the faint flip of a page—his textbook, you assumed. And you knew that there was nothing you could do in this moment to get him to fuck you.
He had his arm draped over you to keep you in place. Mostly it stayed still, occasionally it would rub up and down your back, a silent and wordless encouragement. You had to be good. You knew that. If there was anything you knew about him—and, arguably, you knew quite a lot—it was that there was always a price to pay for going against his wishes. And Shirabu told you not to move.
So despite the buzzing ache for you to chase your pleasure, despite the heat pooling between your legs and leaking down onto his lap, you waited.
You waited.
Until you could feel him let out a slow breath, his cock twitching in a way that had you gasping, and his hand reached up to cradle you in his arms.
His head, too, rest on your shoulder. His breath fanned over your skin, and much to your delight, he moved.
Just the slightest buck of his hips, his cock pressing even further into you.
“Mmh… You've been so good waiting for me, baby…”
He murnured against your skin, leaning over to place hot, open-mouthed kisses, licking and breathing into you as if the last vestiges of his self control had finally begun to dissipate.
His hands trailed down the side of your body, savoring your whimpers, moving to rest on either side of your hips.
“Are you needy, baby?” he whispered.
The nod of your head wasn't enough for him.
“Hmm… But you're so quiet. Maybe you're not so needy after all, huh?”
You could hear the smirk on his face—you couldn't see it, but you could hear it. The image in your head was clear.
“N-no, ‘Jiro, please…” you whined. “M'needy! Want you so bad…”
“Mhm. And you have me. Right, angel? You're so warm around me, I could stay like this forever…”
He almost laughed; you could tell he wanted to.
But instead of doing so, his hand reached up to play with your hair, a delicate silence permeating the atmosphere before he coaxed your head up to look at him.
And, ah, he was beautiful.
Anytime he would do this, you couldn't help but get lost in his eyes, a brown so beautifully alluring that you could, truly, look at him all day and never quite get tired of it.
“Pretty baby,” he smiled at you. Soft, and gentle, and you could see all the stress in the back of his mind slowly begin to fade. “I love you. You know that, right? Thank you for keeping me company…”
A lock of your hair was pushed aside, as if to get a better look at your face, and then his hands were back at your hips—slowly moving them to rock against him, slow, puffy breaths leaving his lips at the friction the two of you were finally feeling.
“My reward,” he whispered.
He leaned in, and you gladly fell into him, sighing delightfully as your lips met his.
It was a slow, tender kiss. Your hips easily found a ruythm, little jolts of pleasure shooting through your body with every roll of your hips. With gasps and moans swallowed into kisses, he fucked you gently, carefully, equally granting you your reward as much as he was claiming his own.
“Mmnn… mnh—! ‘Ji—’Jiro—”
You fell forward into his embrace once more, frinding down on him, feeling the fat tip of his cock nudge at your sweet spot to make you shudder. Your arms wrapped around him desperately, wanting to feel him as close as possible… and he smiled.
There was a kiss placed on the top of your head before he began to lift you up off his lap ever so slightly, before bringing you down.
Your eyes widened, and you choked back a moan—
“K-Ken—ji—!”
Again.
Never too much, not quite being rough with you, but not quite being gentle. Just enough to push his cock in and out of you the way that you liked, rubbing deliciously against your gummy walls, fully claiming your heat as his own.
“Yeah, baby? You like that?” he murmured.
You could barely answer. He felt too good.
Your eyes squeezed shut as you whimpered against him, and you fisted his sweatshirt—a mix of yes's and broken moans of his name were all that he could hear, along with the muted sound of skin against skin, the all-too-familiar smell of sex filling the air around you.
“All gone already, angel? I've barely started, you know?” he grunted, picking up the pace, the smile in his voice never leaving.
A smile of satisfaction—a smile of pride.
And when all you could do was nod, he gripped your hips tighter, and easily began to slam you down on his cock, any sense of self-control completely gone.
“That's my girl. You take me so well, baby. Gonna fuck you so good.”

the type of boyfriend who likes reading a book but you're not. you are a cuddle bugs-lazy gf and he's smartass-introvert bf. it's perfect combination because most of the time you two will spended together by cuddling—ah i mean, you cuddling him while he reading book seriously. sometimes you also read with him, with head on his shoulder and your tiny hands also holding the page of books to avoid he turn the page before you finished reading previous page. cute.
"hey, i haven't finished reading the last paragraf yet :< hold on, for a second."

get well soon ☆ shirabu kenjirou x reader
synopsis: second-year reader has been shirabu’s classmate and academic rival since their first year. when reader overworks themselves and they break down during a test, shirabu is unexpectedly “kind.” details: academic rivals to friends/lovers, some angst, hurt/comfort, ~3.2k words, gn! reader. warnings: some descriptions of reader having low self-esteem and test anxiety :( also, this is long; i hope the time skips are clear.
Sometimes, you wonder how you ended up here.
You were excited to finally reach the last leg of your high school journey after years of studying at Shiratorizawa Academy.
Of course, you knew the climb would only get harder, but you had no idea the mountain would be this rocky.
Your goal was clear: consistently be at the top of your class, for at least two out of three terms every year.
When you started your first year, the classes seemed pretty manageable. You didn’t think you’d have any trouble.
That was until your classmate, Shirabu Kenjirou, came out on top in the first term.
He didn’t say that much, but his scores spoke for themselves. Threatened, you pushed back.
You recited at least once every class. You volunteered to help your teachers. You made damn sure that you’d be congratulated for getting the highest test scores.
By then, you knew you had his attention.
An academic rivalry was not part of your plan; but for the sake of maintaining a competitive medical school application, you told yourself to accept it.
And apparently, he has plans to apply to med school, too! Great!
Through sheer determination, you successfully beat him by the end of the second term. When you came home to your family for winter break, you proudly shared the news.
Come third term, everyone in your class knew you two were battling it out. Even the teachers caught on and reminded you two to keep the competition friendly.
Nobody would ever forget your pair work in social studies that ended in an impromptu debate about the Japanese economy. Your teacher just sighed and reiterated that your grade was shared, not separate.
Despite it all, you survived…only to end up tied with him in the class ranking. It was so unlikely, but somehow, the cumulative totals of your percentages were equal.
You had no idea how it made you feel, but you prayed to everyone and everything, hoping it would come to an end.
However, the day you walked into your new second-year classroom, you wondered if your wishes fell on deaf ears.
Sat in the front row was the sandy-haired boy with the infuriating bowl cut bangs.
You know it’s not like you, but you crave seeing the sour look on Shirabu’s face whenever you win against him.
It’s become second nature to send him a sickly sweet smile each time you get praised by a teacher.
You couldn’t help it, not when you found out he became the starting setter for Shiratorizawa’s volleyball team this year.
Sports was never something you cared about, as you’d rather spend the rest of the afternoon studying. But, it irked you to see how well he seemed to balance his extracurriculars with his academics.
No, you even envied it—the training was no joke. Your friends tell you that it’s constant early morning and late afternoon training, plus a harsh coach.
Yet, the guy comes into class acing his assignments, almost as if he hasn’t spent hours of his day throwing and hitting balls.
Just for once, you want to see him break.
You feel ashamed to think that way about someone, but sometimes, it seems easier to be resentful.
It didn’t help that he was constantly being congratulated by classmates and teachers because Shiratorizawa won the Miyagi Interhigh Tournament.
Internally, you were happy because it meant not seeing him in class for a while. But the more you thought about it…
He’s going to Tokyo for Nationals. He plays with a team. He has a life outside of academics.
You? You’ve got nothing going on.
Your days all blend together: late-night studying, rushed breakfast, intense classes, library time, dinner, studying some more. Repeat.
Your roommate offers company, though they're equally busy, chasing their own dream of becoming a lawyer.
And while you see friends at lunch, you’ve started declining invites to go out, even on weekends. You can barely recall what the arcade or nearby cafés look like.
You always say you need more time to study. That you’re tired and want to rest. There’s truth to your reasons, yet you feel frustrated.
Unfulfilled.
Pissed.
Why can’t I be like him?
Adding insult to injury, they release the first-term grade cards and class rankings.
Just like last year, Shirabu took the top spot. You came in second, but only by a small, decimal point difference.
Something twists in your gut.
Normally, you do pretty decently in your mathematics classes, but it doesn’t mean you never struggle with the lessons.
The second-term curriculum seems to be out to get you though. Limits? Elementary Calculus? Where in the world would you need this kind of math in your life?
Lately, you’ve been observing Shirabu at the library on his free days. You wait until he brings out the math textbooks and worksheets, then time how long it takes him to finish studying.
It takes him about half the time it takes you.
You’re not even surprised when he’s applauded for getting the highest mark on the lastest math test.
Of course. He has a way with numbers that I don’t.
When you receive your test paper, you stare at the red ink. You passed, but only by a few points. Relief and disappointment swirl inside you.
The teacher starts to go over the items that most students had difficulty with, but you don’t pay attention. You can’t, not when you know everything’s starting to fall apart.
For the first time in your life, you felt the danger of failure. It was terrifying.
You can feel Shirabu gazing at you, but you don’t look back.
He’s not important now. You need to survive.
If he starts wondering why you stopped going to the library, it’s none of his business.
A distraction is the last thing you need.
You stop talking to everyone, choosing to stick your head between your books during break.
You no longer recite in every single class. Once a day is enough to conserve your mental energy.
The weekends are reserved for a strict study regimen that gives you more time to study for math.
Your classmates whisper about you. They send concerned looks your way.
Some teachers ask if you’re okay, but you say that you’re fine.
You should be.
You have to be.
Two weeks have passed, and there’s another stupid math test coming. Tomorrow, to be exact.
Your dorm room is silent. Your roommate has long fallen asleep on their desk, knocked out from working on their chemistry assignments.
It’s past midnight now, but you’re only halfway through the test coverage—partially, it’s also thanks to an English project draft that was also due tomorrow.
Your head is buzzing with anxious thoughts, worries that you’ll forget everything you’ve spent days studying.
I need to pass, I need to pass, I need to pass…
The numbers and symbols start to fly around the page. The steps starts to lose all sense of logic.
You don’t even register your eyelids drooping and the pencil falling out of your hands.
Fatigue is a tough thing to fight off.
The next time you blink, it’s to wake up.
Both you and your roommate jolt at your morning alarms.
When did I fall asleep?
You groan and sit up, massaging a small cramp out of your neck. Your head has a lingering ache, you realize, as you wipe away a small amount of drool from the corner of your lips.
But you have no time to think about it. You need to get ready for the day.
The rest of the morning goes by in a haze. You pick up one of the energy bars on your bedside table. You feel like you can’t really eat anything more, anyway.
There’s a pit in your stomach. You suppose it’s hunger, test anxiety, or something else.
Whatever, whatever, I’m going to be late.
Your roommate gives you one last “good luck” before you both dash to your classrooms in the high school building.
Thankfully, all your morning classes were either entirely new lessons or reviews of familiar material. You cannot listen to anything your teachers are saying.
On your desk, your physics notebook is secretly opened. You try to review what you can, but it’s tough.
You feel like nodding off at any moment. The room feels hotter than usual, too.
When recess comes around, you’ve lost your appetite entirely. It’s an odd, contradicting feeling. You’re hungry and you know you need to eat, but you don’t want to.
Maybe you shouldn’t. You feel like you might throw up if you do. Lunch comes right after anyway, so you’ll wait until the nerves are gone.
It’s time.
Your teacher walks into the room and you cannot believe that you’re about to take the dreaded test. Your legs can’t stop shaking.
Somehow, the worst sensations are hitting your body all at once. Heat, chills, nausea, sluggishness, and some sort of brain fog.
You can’t even focus on the final reminders that your teacher is giving you. There’s some chatter from your classmates, but it’s all garbled noise in your ears.
Every second feels like a century. The testing sheets make their way down each column, and you whisper one last prayer before your papers are passed to you.
Oh god.
Even though you’re staring directly at the page, none of the words or numbers register. The questions send a shiver down your spine.
How the hell do I do this again?
Breathe.
Breathe.
You’ve studied this.
You try to focus on the simpler questions first, to get them out of the way. You avoid reading the last few pages to give yourself some peace of mind.
You’re thankful that there are some parts with multiple choice questions, but your mind spins, trying to comprehend the conceptual aspects of your math lesson.
Your heart starts to pound wildly in your chest. You grip your pencil tightly as you attempt to solve or answer something.
You manage to come up with responses, but you get the feeling that there may have been something wrong in your computations. If there’s one thing you hated about mathematics, it’s how the careless mistakes result in a domino effect.
Whatever. It’s done. Next part.
You glance around the classroom, seeing nothing but your classmates working around you. Nobody seems to be struggling like you were.
Maybe they’re better at hiding it. It’s fine. It’s fine.
As you progress to the other questions, you find it increasingly challenging to concentrate and recall the steps. Nothing is surfacing to your memory. You feel like your skull is just stuffed with cotton.
What’s wrong with me?
The feeling is overwhelming. You look at the clock, realizing that you’ve already spent half the period on less than half of the questions.
I might not finish.
I don’t know what to do.
Nothing makes sense anymore. You feel like your insides are going to explode. Everything hurts. You feel like throwing up. It’s cold and hot and you don’t understand it.
I’m going to fail.
The very thought brings your anxiousness to a peak. Tears fall from your eyes without warning. Your pencil drops to the floor as you hold your head in your hands.
It’s like a dam breaks.
It’s not long before you catch your classmates’ and teacher’s attention.
You can hear your teacher call out to you, but you don’t know what to to say. You register her coming closer, asking you questions with surprise and concern.
“Darling, what’s the matter?”
You can’t stop crying. Your mind runs a mile a minute.
You feel a cold hand on your forehead, and there’s a hiss that follows.
"You're burning up," she mutters, a crease of worry in her brow. "I think you've got a fever. You should go to the nurse. We can schedule a make-up test this week."
You sniffle and nod in response. The teacher takes your test booklet, giving your shoulder a gentle, reassuring squeeze before returning to her desk.
"Is there anyone finished? Kindly help them to the nurse if so," she asks, her voice echoing in the quiet classroom.
You don’t even realize who volunteers. You just want this to end.
There's a small tap on your shoulder. "Hey, let’s go." It's a voice you know all too well.
You look up to find none other than Shirabu standing over you.
Of course he's already finished, you think bitterly to yourself.
You muster a weak nod, feeling even smaller as he helps you pack up your things.
The hallway is nearly deserted, with a faint murmur of voices and the shuffling of distant footsteps. You’re aware of the sideway glances that a few students and teachers give you as they pass by.
Your cover your face with your hands; you’ve always hated what you looked like when you cry.
And I just had to break down in front of him like this.
To your surprise though, you notice that Shirabu’s matching his pace to yours. Shirabu always walks quickly, often a few steps ahead of anyone else. But right now, he's walking just slow enough that, if you picked up the pace, you'd be side-by-side.
Is he only doing this because the teacher asked him? But she isn’t here to see him right now, so-
"What happened to you?" His voice cuts through your thoughts.
You startle at his question, expecting this entire walk to be silent.
“I…I don’t know.” Your voice is still a little thick. “I couldn’t answer the questions at all.”
"No. I meant, why'd you go even if you were sick?"
“Oh.” You sniffle, embarrassed. “I thought I could handle it…didn’t know it would be this bad. Just wanted to show up.”
Shirabu goes quiet for a moment, before asking more questions.
“How long have you been feeling this way? Did you even eat or drink anything? You didn’t do either during recess.”
His questions catch you off guard. You can’t believe that he’s asking you something this personal. There’s no bite to his words. Just genuine curiosity.
“Uh,” you falter. You try to think back to yesterday and this morning. “Well, I…”
"You...?" He prompts, urging you to continue.
“Um, I mean, I’ve been tired lately. Who wouldn’t be?” You mutter.
Shirabu raises his eyebrows.
Ugh, he won’t stop until I tell him.
“I didn’t really eat a lot yesterday.” You sigh. “Energy bar this morning. Water, I don’t know how much.”
You can see the gears turning as he processes your response. “So, you haven’t been eating, drinking, and resting enough. Surely, you would have realized this wouldn’t end well for you?”
Hearing him say it out loud suddenly makes you feel defensive. It feels like he’s about to counter your argument in a debate—a deliberate search for weak spots.
“Well, sorry about that, Mister Perfect."
“What?”
“I get it! I don’t have my damn life together right now!” You grit your teeth together in frustration.
"How will you practice medicine without taking care of yourself?" Shirabu responds.
Oh, you’ve done it.
“Why the hell do you care?” You snap. Fresh tears spring to your eyes.
The both of you stop walking and a heavy atmosphere settles after your emotional outburst.
Shirabu doesn’t respond immediately, which somehow makes you feel worse. You feel stupid for overreacting.
“Look,” he says quietly. “I’m not trying to be mean. It’s just that…you have to make it.”
Your head lifts up in surprise. “W-What?”
“You have to make it into medicine.”
“Why?”
“That’s your dream, isn’t it?”
“I, yes…” Your voice is soft. You’re not sure what he’s trying to get at. “But what’s it to you if I achieve it or not?”
“We need more brilliant doctors.”
That stuns you and you chuckle in disbelief at his words.
“Don’t mess with me. You can’t be so sure,” you mutter.
“I’m usually right about things,” he deadpans.
You glare at him, though a small part of you is thankful for that tinge of “normalcy” at a moment like this.
“Just...” He sighs, pausing to think. “I’ve never met someone that pushed to work this hard academically.”
You let out a weak laugh. “Hm. The feeling is mutual, Shirabu.”
There’s a few beats of silence before he continues.
“You still feel that way now? Is that why you pushed yourself to take this test instead of resting?”
“Maybe…I don’t know,” you answer. Your brain can only take so much now. “But whatever. I get it—I’ve been making a lot of stupid decisions.”
“Then don’t make any more,” Shirabu says in a firm voice. He turns his entire body to face you, and his hands settle on your shoulders. “Listen to me.”
“Woah, what-”
“You better follow what the nurse says so you can recover.” He pauses, considering his next words carefully. “Once you’re better, I’m going to help you with math.”
He grip tightens for just a moment before he lets go. When his words sink in, you blink at him, bewildered.
“I’m sorry, did you get hit in the head by a volleyball?”
“I’m serious,” he glares.
“Why are you doing this? You’re helping me?”
“Did you not hear what I said earlier? I want you to make it.”
“...into medicine.” You whisper, completing his statement.
Wait. “I want?” Didn’t he say-
“Yes.” He continues walking, but halts for a moment to look over his shoulder. “Come on.”
You follow.
“And you plan on making it to medicine, too, Shirabu.”
“Mhm,” he responds with absolute certainty.
As you both round the corner, the nurse’s office comes into view. You decide to ask the question forming in your mind before you lose the chance to.
“Are you saying that you want me to stick around?”
You brave a quick glance at his face, but the intensity in his eyes takes your breath away.
“I do.”
At some point, you drifted off after the nurse questioned you and guided you to one of the beds.
You vaguely remember Shirabu holding on to your belongings and lingering for a while before the nurse dismissed him.
“Hi, darling,” the nurse says, noticing you sit up. “Are you feeling a little better?”
“Yes,” you respond. Your fever’s gone down, according to the thermometer, though you still feel groggy.
“That’s good. I think you can go return to your dorm once you’re ready.”
You nod in response and you thank the nurse for her assistance. She moves to return to her desk, but then she stops.
“By the way…” She faces you again. “That kind boy from your class brought you some food from the cafeteria.”
Huh?
She points to the wrapped bowl on your bedside table.
“Oh, I see. Thank you.”
Shirabu bringing you food was already surprising, but what truly catches your eye are the pages of class notes held together by a metal paperclip.
You gasp once you read the sticky note on top.
These are notes from today’s classes. Review them when you’ve recovered. Take your meds, eat, hydrate, and rest properly. Get well soon. - Shirabu

tell me that you love me
shirabu kenjirou x reader words; 1038 synopsis; loss is often followed up with gain
After the loss to Karasuno, it felt like everything stopped. Shirabu grasped at his chest, his heart paused as he realized that it was the end. Sure, he would have his third year, but he couldn’t stop the feeling of guilt that started pouring over his head until it has completely soaked him to his toes. If he had only listened to Semi. If he hadn’t lost his cool. If he hadn’t-
“Shut up.” She threw a pillow into his face. She walked over with her blue water bottle. “Drink all of it. You’re probably dehydrated from all the crying.”
“Y/n!”
“Just stating the truth Kenjiro.” She sat down next to him, the bed dipping slightly. It was just the two of them in Shirabu’s dormitory since his dormmate had decided to go home for the week because of stress. Although, Y/n had a sneaking suspicion that the roommate left because of the pure anger and irritation that practically radiated off of Shirabu.
Growing up with Shirabu was never an easy task. He was even more of a hot head and got easily pissed off. It reminded Y/n of the wind-up robot Shirabu had sitting on his desk. At first, it would move slowly shifting its feet. But when she wound it up too tight, a spring or two had the tendency to come flying out of the mechanics.
He downed the water when he realized how thirsty he actually was. He tried to avoid staring at Y/n, she was sitting cross legged and bouncing her knees slightly. Even when he was being a jerk, she was there for him. He was grateful that she had come to see the game earlier, but he cringed when he realized that she had seen him lose. Y/n took the water bottle from him, and drank the rest of the water letting out a satisfied ‘ah’ from the crisp taste. She moved from his bed to go through her backpack, pulling out two plastic packages.
They could share things like water bottles, chapstick, spoons, and straws without discomfort. Shirabu had faced slack-jawed teammates when they saw her drink from his water bottle the first time, their jaws dropped further when he asked her to borrow chapstick and he slathered it on his lips with a smirk at his fellow club members.
“Even though I'm just visiting, I would never think of ruining my nighttime routine. So, you're doing a face mask with me.” As soon as she had disappeared into the bathroom, Shirabu smiled. Falling in love with his childhood best friend was the only thing he could have ever expected. Why look at any other girl when Y/n was right there next to him? Being independent from each other but also relying on the silent motivation that came from the other.
While Shirabu had worked harder than anybody to get into Shiratorizawa, the one downfall was the absence of Y/n in his life. How she teased him for his hair, how she did so many little things in order to lighten the atmosphere he sometimes darkened, how she would never get angry back at him and would only ever approach him with a rational retaliation to his illogical outbursts.
“Okay, here let me put your hair up,” As soon as Y/n had started pulling his hair into a ponytail at the top of his head, Shirabu thought he would combust into a million pieces. “Aw, you’re blushing Kenjiro!” When she had finished tying his hair, she put her hands on his cheeks and smushed his face.
“Stop it Y/n.” he tried to remove her hands, but she only resorted to locking them around his neck.
“Ha! You’re trapped.” She smiled widely, admiring how his copper toned hair looked like a fountain at the top of his head.
“Psh, I can do that too.” Shirabu wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her into his chest.
When they realized what kind of position they were in, they both moved their heads to the side, avoiding looking at each other from embarrassment. They kept holding onto each other. Shrirabu is tired of doing this. They tip-toe around each other, flirting and being the only people to actually handle the other.
His grip tightens on her waist, moving her legs on either side of his hips. He wanted to mold his entire body to hers, leave an imprint of his existence on her. He could only get so physically close, and he was never satiated.
“Tell me that you love me.” He whispers, his lips brushing against her ear. His breath dancing across her neck.
“I can’t.” Y/n moves her head so that the pair are looking directly into each other’s eyes. She sniffles slightly. Suddenly the mood that was once perfect for a confession turns sour, and Shirabu wants to insult anything and everything.
“Why not?” He snaps. He knows that she likes him. She knows that he likes her. So why isn’t Y/n saying anything like he hoped she would be?
“You're too emotional right now, and I don’t want to be some sort of rebound for you after volleyball.”
Y/n knew that Shirabu had been in a certain state of mind since the loss to Karasuno. While it would be nice, no, while it might be absolutely amazing for them to start a deeper relationship, the balance of Shirabu was on the line. She didn’t want him to be acting out of anger or the need for comfort. She wants him to act out of love for her. No other emotions blocking the path from ‘a’ to ‘b’. She lets go of his neck. But Shirabu only pulls her tighter into him.
“You won't be. I promise. I love you.” He presses his face into her neck, his lips ghosting over her collarbone.
“I love you.” She isn’t sure how the words come out of her mouth, but they do. Almost as if they had been sitting on her teeth just waiting to jump out.
In a rush, he kisses her. Y/n immediately moves to keep him kissing her by holding onto his neck again.

you only live twice
semi eita-centric
semiten’s friendship-focused with a side of ushiten and minor semishira

M, 5.2k words
espionage au, part 1 of from beretta, with love
The first time he met Tendou Satori, Semi Eita found himself entranced. In this bloody, wretched world, something akin to a trust.
A brotherhood forged in fire.
That, he thinks in retrospect, was his first mistake.

⊹ ࣪ ˖—Bookstore boy
ft. [surprise] haikyuu setter x reader
genre: fluff, a sprinkle of angst
Part 2 here !
Love. Love is portrayed in many ways, whether it be love toward your family, love towards your friends, or love towards your fur baby.
Y/n had no problem with any of that, except for one, love with your special someone. That, Y/n had no clue of.
Most people her age have gone around and experienced love, but the case is different for her.
Despite being out in the world, free from the shackles of her parent's rules, she prefers to stay in her apartment watching romance movies to her heart's content.
Lots of people would question her, such as how her aunt would never fail to ask every Thanksgiving “If you love romance movies so much, why don't you experience it for yourself?”— it's not that easy Y/n thinks, after all the fairytales she's read, her standards seem to have skyrocketed to the point that no man can reach them, or so she believes.
[2: 11 pm, Public library]
The bells from the door chime as Y/n enters the quaint yet cozy library. She is welcomed with the scent of books old and new alike being turned over by the other frequent patrons.
Looking around you smile at the familiar faces you often see at the library.
Though one unfamiliar face caught your eye, a man sitting at the far corner of the reading space, he seemed completely absorbed in his book; his facial expression constantly changing as he proceeds to read.
You find yourself chuckling at how adorable this stranger was.
Suddenly his eyes met yours, and you both stare at each other for what felt like an eternity until you realize that the stranger had probably noticed you staring at him.
Embarrassed, you turn around and walk in the opposite direction, away from the stranger.
You went on with your afternoon, trying to shake off the embarrassment you experienced a couple of minutes ago.
Looking around for the perfect book to spend your afternoon with, so far none had caught your attention, then you see it up on the shelf— the perfect book.
Pleased with your find you climb the step stool in an attempt to reach the book.
The book was too high up and the step stool wasn’t enough, so you resort to tip-toeing, still no use.
Determined to get the book, you decided to use your final option, to jump. Still, on the step stool, you crouch down to make sure you could reach high enough. 3...2...1! You jumped and were able to grab the book in the process.
Too blinded with excitement you had forgotten the vital part of this plan, to land.
Now you were bracing yourself for impact, resigning your fate to the hard wooden floors of the library, but instead of harshly landing on the solid ground, you feel the arms of someone who had caught you just at the right time.
You let out a sigh of relief and slowly open your eyes when you’re met with blue eyes so beautiful that you feel as if you can drown in them if you looked long enough.
It was then that you realize that it was the cute stranger from the reading space.
The mystery guy held out his hand to help you get back on your feet; you brush off the imaginary dust on your shoulders.
The boy picked the book up from the ground, handing it back to you. You shyly accept the book from him.
“Thank you so much for um... Catching me, and I'm sorry about staring at you earlier, I just found your expressiveness rather charming”.
The mystery guy, probably startled by the sudden compliment, blushed.
“It's no problem, and thank you, I guess,” he said while rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly.
You both stare at each other for a second, silence filling the atmosphere between both of you, until you hear a ring.
“Oh, excuse me my friend’s calling,” he explains as he moves away from you.
You think to yourself, isn't this maybe a bit too cliché? Maybe this was finally where your love story started.
Just the tiny thought that this man could be your special someone made your heart race.
I mean look at him, he was good-looking, obviously strong, I mean he caught you when you were falling, respectful, loves books, probably introverted.
He was her ideal guy, now all she needed to do was have the courage to ask for his number and keep in contact, and then-,
“Excuse me, I need to go and meet up with my friend, it was nice meeting you”
he said as bowed at you and quickly walks towards the exit.
“Bye,” you said, but it came out as a hushed whisper as you watch him slowly disappear into the city.
You'd be lying if you said you were fine, in all honesty, you were a little bit sad, yes you were delusional, but only because you were lonely and you needed a special someone to be there with you.
And you were stupid enough to think that the stranger might have been that someone for you, guess you were wrong.
reblogs and comments are greatly appreciated <3

shirabu kenjirou x reader hanahaki au
hanahaki disease : a disease where when there is an unrequited love flowers blooms in ones chest till the vines envelop the body and you slowly die to the feeling of thorns piercing your lungs
you loved shirabu so much. you’d do so much for him, but here’s the flaw in your thoughts, he’s not into you, like at all. in fact he’s dating someone else. someone better than you could ever be. they were perfectly beautiful, put up with his temper, so sweet, and had the softest voice. there was no flaw. absolutely no way you could hate them for getting with him, and you couldn’t do anything because he looked so helplessly in love with her, to the point of letting down his cool exterior to be soft with her. it was so sickeningly saccharine but left such a bitter taste in your mouth. well, something else left a bitter taste in your mouth every time you saw them together. the metallic flowery mix that sprouted out of your lungs the more you let it fester. you knew it’d be gone if you just told him but you couldn’t ruin what they have, you couldn’t ruin your guys’ friendship, so you opted to sit in your pain and suffering, and as you worsened you saw them get happier. there came a day when you couldn’t hold in the flower petals, as you felt the vines envelop your lungs. it was excruciating, yet so, so, so, calming, you could finally let go of the pain your heartfelt every time you saw them, and luckily you put on a good enough facade where no one knew it would soon be your end so it was all calm.
shirabu didn’t know what happened, he and his s/o seemed like they were doing fine, but then out of the blue he found them cheating on him with semi, it hurt it really did, so of course, he called you, but you didn’t pick up his calls. he started to get worried his tears worsening, he rushed over to your place, and when he found you on the floor laying in a pile of flowers and blood his heart shattered and splintered into pieces. you were always there in the background for him and supported him without him noticing. now you were gone. he was left all alone. if only he hadn’t been so blinded by love he could’ve helped you. you wouldn’t have had to go like this. he could’ve helped you. returned the favor.
now it’s over.
everything’s gone.
he was all alone.

#help I can relate to this
TIMESKIP!HAIKYUU BOYS that swear they’re not possessive, but something about the way he saw you laughing with this other dude woke up something inside of him.
He kept pocking his inner cheek, rolling his eyes more times than he ever did in his life, waiting for you to finish your friendly conversation.
There was no way in hell you didn’t notice how this man was totally hitting on you —he wasn’t—, the way he smiled at you and kept patting your shoulder definitely meant something.
The conversation took long enough and nothing stopped him from fucking you rough in the back of his car, marking every single part of your body as his, digging his teeth into your skin.
“You’re gorgeous.” he groaned in your ear “So pretty and so mine. Mine and mine only.” he said, his hand rubbing your clit as his tongue ran over your neck “I can’t let anyone else have you, no one but me, got it, sweetie?”
It took a few minutes after his little scene for you to be able to tell him that your friend was gay, so he was probably looking at him.

— "best brother ever!" tiktok trend with hq men
≪ back to fics masterlist
hq character x gn!reader
a/n: just some more crack filled headcanons while i churn out the rest of the requests 🫡 saw a vid of someone doing this and i was thinking of how the hq characters would react to it LOL hope you enjoyy
cw: fluff, humour, swearing oops, mild suggestiveness towards the end ?
The trend:
"Babe, come 'ere!"
Curious, your boyfriend stepped into the living room where you had your camera set up on a tripod pointing towards you. When he reached your side, you pointed at the camera and explained, "We're gonna do a tiktok trend so just stand here, okay?"
He nodded, before smiling a little and waving at the camera.
Grabbing onto his waist protectively, you spoke to the camera. "If you wanna get to him, you're gonna have to get through me first."
Then you leaned up and kissed him on the lips. He smiled into the kiss, happily kissing you back. Pulling away, you gave him a side hug and turned to the camera, dropping the bomb with a shit eating grin on your face.
"Best brother ever!!"
The reaction:
atsumu and oikawa would scream. and i mean scream. like they're in a horror movie or smth "AYO WHAT THE FUCK???" with all the dramatic facial expressions and hand gestures like bro shut up my eardrums are gonna explode 💀
tanaka, nishinoya and bokuto are the slow processors. they'd just keep smiling and would only get it right before you stop the video. he's HORRIFIED and whipping his head at you like "WHAT DID YOU SAYYY" you cannot stop laughing and poor guy's probably traumatised.
kageyama, hinata and ushijima would be confused. like "why'd you say that? i'm not your brother" or even better, "you don't have a brother" and you'll be looking at the camera like jim from the office like does he not get it ?? 😭💀
akaashi and shirabu would stand there staring at you with the most incredulous look on his face. he'd lowkey be judging you and be like "wHat..." sorry babe it's just a prank 🥰
semi would choke on his laughter and shove you away saying stfu but he'd be laughing about it and he'd probably help you post it afterwards. this man is so... HAHAHAHA i love him 😂
sakusa would also shove you away saying stfu but he's lunging to grab the phone so you can't post it (you'll still post it anyway LOL)
tsukki is all three of the above. would look at you with the MOST JUDGY face on earth before shoving you out of the camera frame saying stfu
kenma, osamu and suna would have the most DISGUSTED look on his face and you can't help but laugh at how his face is scrunched up and pinched together
kita would have the most disappointed look on his face like you'd honestly regret doing the tiktok (it's still funny tho. 10/10 would post)
iwaizumi would freeze, slowly turn to you and stare at you with the same face he made when oikawa asked him "iwa-chan, are you my mom?" HAHAHAHSJHJVF GOODBYE
daichi and suga would be like "bruh". nothing else. just pure "bruh" 😐
matsukawa, hanamaki and kuroo WOULD GO ALONG WITH IT HAHAHAHA "yeah best lil sis/bro ever" AND THEN KISS YOU ON CAMERA AGAIN, EVEN DEEPER THIS TIME 💀 then you'd collapse laughing together
tendō would turn his head, look at you with a loving smile and say "what the fuck did you just say?"
asahi would not know how to respond so he's just standing there looking between you and the camera like "huh..."
futakuchi "this ain't alabama, babe..."
extra thoughts!
after you record all that, iwaizumi and akaashi (he a freaky one 👀) will smirk, smack ur ass and say "best little sibling ever" before kissing u deep 🫶 do what you will with that information
also if tsukki was in a good mood, he'd prolly play along but in the most sarcastic way possible HAHAHA like "yeah, best little sibling ever" before kissing you out of frame lol
