Fighting outbreaks rn (on my main acc, not the shiny quest one, tho y'all will be getting an update very soon!) and istg i saw on a shinycatherine(??) video somewhere recently that "shinies follow the rule of funny: they don't show up when the odds are high, they show up when it'd be funniest to do so" AND IT'S SO FUCKIN TRUE

I’m back from my survey everyone! Sorry if I got anyone worried for being away so long-I’m here to post my findings!

There is an ABNORMAL amount of chansey in that specific room. Like-I counted an entire herd of them at once. They’re pretty rare to find ONE in the wild so I have no idea what it is about this place that attracts(?) them-

Not too notable but there are Espeon-WILD ESPEON down here-and a wild Vaporeon!

There was a Girafarig at the entrance of the cave-there’s a lot down there so I didn’t pay much mind but-wanted to make a note as there always seems to be at least ONE Pokémon at the entrance of the cave-

I Found two different species of abnormal Pokémon down there-and one of my friends have said they Found more robotic looking ones but I’ll have to go with them one day to confirm. The ones I found were called ‘Flutter Mane’ and ‘Roaring Moon’ by the professor from what I remember-and they could be VERY aggressive so explore with caution as they mostly seem to only appear in this room.…

…and now we come to the concerning part. I found-an ABNORMAL amount of Greavard and Houndstone in this room. Normally this wouldn’t be much thought, they crop up almost everywhere in the over world but-..In the great crater?? I haven’t seen them ANYWHERE else but in this room-and knowing their pokedex entry is not making my fears any lighter. Something WEIRD is going on and-I’m getting a little worried More And More that It’s leaning towards the ‘cult Shit’ stuff i hoped And prayed it wouldn’t.

anyway-those Are my findings so far-I’m back at the Academy safe and sound, hoping others will eventually be able to investigate this further themselves-this is BIGGER than Naranja or Uva-We’re all in this together!

This is my son Apollo, he’s a purebred shiny Slither Wing with perfect EV’s that I had imported from Scarlet Paldea. He is level 100 and has killed god. He’s a good boy.

This is my daughter Glimmer, I ran into her by accident at Casseroya Lake and barely caught her with a Dive Ball. Her strongest move is Aqua Jet and her defense stat is so low it should be considered a crime. She’s my special girl.

So I've gone six months without encountering a single Shiny, and now I encounter one two days in a row! 😍 And both bird 'mons, too! Golduck is one of my personal favourites, so this was a very cool treat, even if I don't think its Shiny is by any means a top-tier Shiny. Here's the video of the lucky encounter
