Shiny Deerling will be available for the first time during the event

Maractus, Sigilyph, and Bouffalant will hatch from 10km Eggs during the event, and will be available globally! They can also be shiny!

The Pokémon appearing in five-star raids will alternate each hour during event hours. Reshiram will appear in raids first, followed by Zekrom.

Slayers Pokémon Teams: Sylphiel Nels Lahda

My fellow Slayers and Pokémon fans, we have come to the last team in this little series of mine. Fret not however, for I have saved one of my favorite characters for last. Everyone’s favorite hopeless romantic cleric, Sylphiel Nels Lahda.

Gardevoir: Gardevoir is a Pokémon known for many things. Being caring towards its trainer, having a great movepool full of specially offensive and support options, and being the most lewded Pokémon on the internet. However, what it is also known for is opening mother fucking BLACK HOLES when its trainer is threatened. This fits Sylphiel given how she’s all demure and shy usually, but when people she cares about, like Gourry or Lina, are threatened, she’ll whip out a mother fucking dragon slave. Also, considering she’s one of the better endowed cast members, her having a frequently lewded Pokémon fits.

Blissey: Here we have a Pokémon known for its healing powers and caring nature. Thus, it’s a good match for Sylphiel’s shrine maiden abilities. Also, it heals people and Pokémon by giving them the egg in its pouch and Sylphiel is known for her fantastic cooking.

Camerupt: This Pokémon represents Sylphiel’s admittedly limited capacity for destructive magic. Specifically it represents her ability to use Dragon Slave as its, in my opinion, one of her iconic feats.

Slurpuff: Here’s a Pokémon that more directly represents Sylphiel’s culinary acumen, as Slurpuff is a Pokémon based on a French merengue, which, based on what I’ve learned from YouTube, is a bitch and a half to make. Thus it’s fitting that this sentient mass of fairy flavored whipped egg whites is on Sylphiel’s team. After all, Sylphiel is enough of an epic chef to satisfy the absurd gourmands (read: gluttons) that are Lina and Gourry.

Shiny Alomomola: This is a fish Pokémon known for its healing abilities and tendency to hug Pokémon to facilitate said healing. This fits Sylphiel’s talents given her healing abilities and it serves as an homage to give really good emotional support to Lina when she’s around such as when she hugs Lina after she kills a reanimated child during the Hellmaster arc.

Trevenant: This Pokémon represents Sylphiel’s relationship with her incredibly dead hometown of Sairaag as well as the holy tree Flagoon which is equally as dead. Sylphiel is undoubtedly haunted by seeing almost everyone she loved and cared about, including her father, get blown up by copy Rezo, so a ghost Pokémon felt fitting. That it is a tree Pokémon is even more fitting given how Hellmaster destroyed Flagoon before his reanimate Sairaag shenanigans.

Welp, that’s the last of the Slayers Pokémon teams I’ll be making for the foreseeable future. It’s been fun and I’ve loved the feedback I’ve been receiving. I think I’ll start writing some Slayers fanfics I’ve been talking about on here. I’ve had one in my head where Sylphiel, after the events of Next, tries to get over her crush on Gourry only to fail at that and, to make matters worse, ends up crushing on Lina too (can you tell I’m a Lina x Sylphiel x Gourry shipper?). I just gotta figure out what methods each of the main quartet (plus maybe Xellos) suggest to Sylphiel to help get over her crush. Any suggestions?

day 23: single stage/gen 5 - alomomola!

A year or so ago, I made a series where I drew my favorite pokemon by type as humans. Decided to come back to that but with my top six all time pokemon instead! I hope you like them!

Bonus: some quick notes on them and their designs in the keep reading:

Alolan Raichu: When I first did the series, I did wanted to do a "beach bum" look, but I ended up with a surfer girl instead. I like both the old design and the new design so much I'm just gonna say they're twins.

Shiny Scolipede: Barely anything has changed about her design except I added less stripes to her arms/legs. She totally has a crush on Pancake lol.

Whimsicott: Same with scolipede, I still like their design, I just ended up making them look younger and have different shoes. Gothorita: Similar age to the old design, but I remember seeing some cute gothorita designs where she had afro puffs and I could'nt help myself.

Zweilous: Took out the triangle patterns on them since it was too similar to deino. Both are still conjoined at the arm.

Alomomola: Just like Raichu, both got a huge redesign, decided to base them off of nurse joy and magical girls. As for the gender change, let's just say she transitioned since last time :)

“Slater- Kyurem, the subject, has been showing considerable progress lately.”

“Quite a quaint name you’ve chosen for such a legendary beast; any reasons as to why?”

He opts to ignore his boss, rolling his eyes as he slid the stylus down into the tablet he was provided- he still very much prepared a traditional pen on paper, but this would have to do.

“He’s been in a recovery stage for almost three months now. He’s lost a considerable amount of energy- why and how, we have yet to determine, and he’s unable to revert back to his dragon form.”

“Question- which form is their “true” form? The dragon or the human- or at least,” 

He glances at the windows- and grimaces slightly.

“Half-dragon? Half-beast?” 

“Half-beast; I like the sound of that,” He quickly swivels back to his train of thought. “I suppose their draconic bodies are their true selves- it does not matter, as of now, he is temporarily reduced to a weaker body. He does not appear to eat the same food as Descante-”

“Reshiram.”

His boss may have chosen the name for the other dragon- but it didn’t mean he was going to humanize the subjects.

“Yes, Reshiram,” He corrects himself. “They should have similar diets. But they do not.”

“He eats what Reshiram offers him- Reshiram likes to share.”  His boss replies, dismissively waving his hand. “What you mean is that they do not offer him the same nutrients.”

“...yes, that is what I mean. Meat is not going to help him in the recovery, so I advise against  feeding him as such. A diet of Alomomola, Basculin, and Chansey eggs would be preferable. Blissey eggs, if you happen to acquire some.”

“I have my resources.”

“So you do.”

That was all for Nikolai’s report.

He does not bother mingling around any longer; he returns to his research as punctual as ever, dedicating himself to the rehabilitation and recovery of the dragon.

He had good intentions- even if his way of going around things were highly unethical.

Just as Achroma preferred.

Peering into the windows of the enclosure, he spots the newly dubbed half-beast- Slater, Nikolai had named him, curled into the darkness and barely illuminated by the shiny, purple horns protruding from his forehead.

Descante always isn’t far behind- as soon as he’s returned into the enclosure, he makes his way to Slater, wrapping his wings around him in an effort to warm him. Slater, with eyes still closed like a newborn kitten, leans into his touch- quite happily so.

Achroma supposed it was in their nature to be drawn to each other- but frankly, he didn’t quite care.

Nursing Slater to full health was one of their priorities- but for now, he had to locate the DNA Splicers.
