I feel multi shippy in the Ryuuno area. I ship her with nagisa, shinobu and Benten. I ship Shinobu with Ryuuno and Inaba. Honestly, my liking Ataru x lum. Is kinda why I don’t ship Ataru x Shinobu. Especially as I once read that Rumiko wanted to intially keep Ataru and Shinobu as a couple.

I’ve commented on this before and the long and short of it is that I can’t find any evidence to the idea that Ms. Takahashi was somehow forced by editors to pair Ataru with Lum. It’s not mentioned on Wikipedia and I’ve never been able to find any interviews from Takahashi or anybody else supporting this.

It’s a weird urban legend that I suspect exists entirely as a result of a particularly annoying set of Ranma 1/2 fans at the time looking for more excuses to bash Akane.

Okay, now I’m caught up! Whew! While I was stuck in bed yesterday I read several volumes of Urusei Yatsura, and needed to draw my favorite ladies, Shinobu and Lum! I think that they enjoy these swings much more than their usual mood swings...
