LEWIS HAMILTON AND Y/N L/N'S FRIENDSHIP ON THE ROCKS: HAMILTON WILL NOT LET L/N WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP.
It is no secret that Hamilton and L/N are friends. They have posted each other on instagram, and L/N talks about him in their interviews, but according to an insider - the friendship is reaching an end. With L/N's back-to-back victories and Hamilton's lousy attacks, a rivalry is not out of the question.
When asked why Lewis Hamilton tried to overtake Y/N L/N in the German GP his response was: "What am I supposed to do? Just let the girl win? Of course not, I'm fighting for my championship. This is sports and if she doesn't understand it - she can pack her bags."
L/N is yet to make a statement.

Hi babes!! I want a Randy Orton request pls. You can write anything you want.
Shine
Pairing: Randy Orton x Fem reader
Description: You become women's champion leading to an unexpected alliance with Evolution
Tumblr media
Nothing but adrenaline and newfound confidence floods through you as you get in the ring for your match against Lita for the women's championship starting the match off immediately not taking time to let nerves take over. The match has been close from the beginning catching your breath and wiping blood off your nose after being shoved into the ring post kicking out over and over after a series of pins which leads to both of you bloody and dazed determined to win but you finally get the break you need running and knocking lita down with a big boot, you yell and cry in emotions standing in the ring with the title in your hands stopping when Evolution walks down to the ring standing nervously as lita crawls out of the ring but instead of Triple H walking to you after he had attacked you a year back, Ric Flair who seemed like a prick for the first while you had been around him, or Bautista who was a close friend to you and your dear friend Rey Mysterio the youngest and the one you didn't really know steps forward, you had heard of Randy Orton but didn't know him feeling yourself on guard as he steps forward only to gently wipe blood off your face and raise your hand in the air before speaking in the mic "Evolution continues and only grows and today it's grown" you raise a brow as you leave the ring behind them. You reluctantly join the faction and prove yourself off the bat defending your championship against Trish and Molly before being put in a tag team match with randy against Bubba Ray Dudley and trish which lead to the moment in the hotel sharing a few drinks unable to keep your eyes off him despite you trying, you don't remember who said what or how it happened but the next thing you knew was being in a soft kiss with randy tasting the tequila he had sipped not long ago sharing the rest of the night eating and having drinks before having dinner together after a big win for evolution when ric and Dave became tag team champions and you only grew with your time in the faction and the relationship between you and randy grew more as you shined together as young stars until the faction went hell leading you and randy to become even more big not just as a tag team or individuals but also as a couple in the business.

Here we officially have part 1 of our miniseries! I hope you enjoy, and I promise we will finally be meeting Sam soon…
Pairings: Danny Wagner X Sam Kiszka (eventually) *slash
Warnings and tags: as always 18+ only, scram minors! Not much for this part either besides a bit of cocky attitude, little bit of animosity being shown, rivalry, enemies to lovers, some swearing, college AU, tennis club AU
Word count: ~1400
Practice went well for Danny’s first time joining the team on the courts. He made sure to exude enough strength and coordination that his teammates knew he was someone to watch out for, but he didn’t show off in a way that would put any targets on his back. At least not yet.
By Saturday, he was more than ready to start his challenge match against Zach, the first person up on the ladder before him. It felt impractical to have to go through everyone on the ladder to get to the one he really wanted to face, but he was assured many times from the club president that it was the only way to progress.
“Going to be a good game today?” Adam asked Danny when they both showed up on the court at the appointed time.
“Hopefully a quick one, let’s get this underway” Danny replied, setting up his spot on the bench nearby.
“So what’s your deal?” Adam questioned curiously, watching the way Danny prepped for the game as they waited for Zach to arrive by making sure his shoes were tied, his grip tape was wrapped tight, shock absorber was still in good shape, and stretching a bit. “We’ve been playing with the same guys on this team for two years now, challenges are made all the time but everyone’s pretty much set on the ladder now, hasn’t been much moving besides the graduates, but you think you can climb the whole thing in just one month?”
“I am going to” Danny smiled, his words ambitious but his face still showing a hint of boyish wholesomeness.
“You’re gunning for the number one spot then? That won’t be an easy task. Sam’s held that spot since joining the team his first year” Adam set to explaining, “Hadn’t been a freshman at the top in a long time, or anyone capable of holding their spot for this long either”.
Danny wasn’t phased by his caution. He’d heard the rumors of the infamous Prince of the tennis club since transferring to this university. Though he was on the team at the last school he attended, there wasn’t much excitement or popularity for their club like there was for the one here.
With the season starting the championship winning tennis team was a hot topic amongst his classmates, and Sam was apparently an even hotter topic. Though his so-called ‘fan club’ Sam had sounded more like a cult following from Danny’s perspective, only a little bit annoyed every time his name ultimately came up with the subject.
When Zach finally arrived, Danny wasted no time with formalities. He greeted him kindly and they flipped a coin to see who would serve first. Danny was heads, so by fate he lined his sneakers up next to the white line, threw the palm sized yellow ball into the air, and even with the sun shining in his eyes he nailed the far left corner of the service box and aced his opening shot.
Danny held the advantage the entire game while hardly breaking a sweat. Poor Zach when he quickly realized he was in a game way out of his league, gave up by the second set, but Danny appreciated his sportsmanship as he held out as best he could until the match was over.
“That was…” Adam trailed off, his hands on his hips and an unbelievable smile on his lips. When he agreed to witness these challenge matches today he came with the intention to gauge Danny’s capabilities, and he had effortlessly exceeded all expectations. He was skeptical before, but now Adam seriously did consider that the top spot on the ladder may be in jeopardy.
Danny took a break on the bench, pulling his hat off to let his curly head of hair breathe while he took long sips from his water bottle. “So when can we set up the next one? Tomorrow okay?” Danny questioned.
Adam was amazed once more. Danny hadn’t even won the second match yet and he was already confidently talking about playing someone else. “I mean, like I said I’m free, but if you keep challenging like this people are going to start talking”.
“That’s fine” Danny stood back up and secured his hat again as he noticed his next opponent approaching the courts, Dylan.
“Let them talk”.
Thursday was beginning to wrap the week up and Danny had resolved himself to acknowledge that this would be only his second but already his last practice with Team B. Of course he had won the two challenge matches on Saturday, then he had two more on Sunday and Monday, which meant by this weekend when he challenged the next two players on the ladder that he would officially have made it to Team A.
He didn’t hold back at practice, and attention was starting to be drawn towards his court as he drilled with the top player on the team. Their challenge match had already been scheduled , Saturday at noon, and by the looks of it now Danny was sure to be the clear winner.
“Well I look forward to my redemption in a few days” Thomas sarcastically approached Danny from the other side of the net, still trying to catch his breath as practice concluded.
“Don’t worry, I’ll go easy on you” Danny smiled genuinely.
Even if his plan meant he couldn’t feel remorse for all the guys he had to go through to get to the top, it didn’t mean he was an asshole. In fact, Danny quite liked everyone he had met so far. He only hoped the next team would take his rise as cordially as this group had.
“Hey, if I can actually ask you a favor?” Thomas stopped him as they headed into the locker rooms, continuing when Danny gave him an easy sure. “Do you think we can move the match this weekend up an hour? There’s going to be another one later that day and I don’t want to miss it”.
“Oh, you’re witnessing a match that day too?” Danny questioned as he put his things away in his locker.
“Right” Thomas laughed, “there will be plenty of witnesses for that match. It’s Sam’s first challenge of the season”.
“Sam?”
“Yeah, the guy on the top of the ladder. He doesn’t get challenged very often but when he does it draws a pretty big crowd. Can’t wait to see who the sorry sucker is”.
A crowd? Danny thought to himself, wondering how many people would really want to take time out of their Saturday afternoon to watch a game of tennis that didn’t really mean anything. He agreed anyways so long as the club president was going to be okay with it as well.
“By the way, that’s your locker?” Thomas raised a brow and pointed at the tiny space Danny was standing in front of. He sounded slightly concerned, like it wa supposed to be off limits or something.
“Is that a problem?” Danny looked the locker over then back at the other man with a confused look on his face.
“No, it’s nothing” he brushed it off and they agreed to meet at eleven instead on Saturday.
Danny’s fifth challenge went just like his first, and second and third and fourth… admittedly he was getting tired of spending so much time playing on his time off, but then again that was the point. The coaches created the ladder as a way to encourage all of the players on the team to continue practicing on days when it wasn’t mandatory, and so far it had proven to be good motivation.
Or maybe motivation wasn’t the right word to use. Danny was quickly learning that it was more of a spectacle for some. Soon after his match was over he noticed more and more people filling in the bleachers at the courts, until soon they were nearly full like there was an unannounced tournament about to take place. Though the only thing he knew of that was happening today was Sam’s challenge.
“Hey, what’s everyone here for?” Danny caught Adam in passing just before he ran off to join the mass of waiting onlookers.
“Are you going to stay and watch the next match?” He asked, like he didn’t even register that Danny didn’t understand what was going on or why everyone was so excited.
“I wasn’t planning on it?” Danny tried again to dig for more details, “should I?”
Adam smiled widely and leaned in so he could lower his voice in case there was a coach anywhere nearby that didn’t need to hear this. “If you are, you have to place your bet”.
Danny’s brows furrowed in even more confusion, “Bet?”
“Come on, I’ll introduce you to Jake and Josh”.

Index x Fem!Reader where reader is about to be attacked in the ring and indi and dexter come save her?
High stakes || Indi Hartwell x Reader x Dexter Lumis
Summary: Indi and Dexter save you when you get attacked.
Tumblr media
The arena was electric as you stepped into the ring, facing off against Ember Moon. The crowd roared, and you couldn't help but feel the adrenaline surging through your veins. This was your moment to shine.
Little did you know that danger lurked nearby.
As the match unfolded, you were fully engrossed in the battle against Ember. The two of you traded blows, reversals, and near falls. The audience was on the edge of their seats, and you were determined to give them a show they wouldn't forget.
However, in the frenzy of the match, you failed to notice the ominous presence sneaking up to the ring. Shotzi Blackheart, Ember's tag team partner, was on a mission, and her weapon of choice was a kendo stick.
But, you weren't alone in this fight.
Backstage, hidden from your view, Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis were watching intently. Considering the fact that you and Indi had takes the tag team championship from them just the week prior, they knew this match was going to be high stakes and had been keeping an eye on the proceedings.
When Indi spotted Shotzi, her eyes widened in alarm. She grabbed Dexter's arm and pointed urgently at the unfolding situation. Without wasting a second, they bolted from their hiding spot and sprinted toward the ring.
In the ring, Ember had you in a vulnerable position, ready to deliver her finishing move. The crowd was going wild, anticipating the end of the match. But just as Ember was about to strike, a loud thud echoed through the arena.
Shotzi's kendo stick had collided with the canvas, but it wasn't aimed at you—it was a warning shot.
The crowd gasped, and Ember looked bewildered for a moment, glancing toward Shotzi, who had halted her assault. She hadn't expected her partner's interference.
That's when you finally registered the chaos around you. You saw Indi and Dexter storming down the ramp, determination etched across their faces.
Ember, realizing that the tide had turned, wisely decided to retreat. She slipped out of the ring and joined Shotzi on the outside, leaving you standing with your saviors.
You glanced at Indi and Dexter, your heart pounding from the adrenaline rush. You may not have seen the threat coming, but they had your back, and that meant the world to you.
With gratitude in your eyes, you nodded to them, acknowledging their timely rescue. The three of you stood tall in the ring, united, as the crowd's cheers filled the arena once more. You might not have won the match, but you had won something even more valuable—loyal allies who had your back, no matter what.

10 Man Dog Pound Cage Death Match - United Empire vs. Bullet Club War Dogs *****
Photos.
Wow, what a show this turned out to be. It started pretty ordinary, but ultimately had three exceptional bouts, one of which is the best match of 2024 so far. The show opened with CHAOS teammates Yano and YOH taking on Taguchi and Young Lion Shooter, Oleg. This was perfectly fine, but only went 3:45, so there really wasn't much to mention. YOH scored the win over Taguchi with a roll up. Next, UE Young Boy Callum Newman got a chance to shine in his tag match with O-Khan against Bishamon. This was a good little sprint, with the spirited Newman looking especially good. It wasn't to be his night, however, as he was put away by the veterans at 7:37 with Shoto.
The NJPW Babyfaces took on House of Torture next. This was your typical HoT match, beginning with a brawl, before the babyfaces got their shine, only to succumb to heelish shenanigans. After Dick Togo distracted the ref, Narita hit Tiger Mask with the Metal Plated Push Up Bar Of Doom, before SHO pinned him with a Shock Arrow in 8:43. Post match saw SHO steal Despe's IWGP Jr. Belt and proclaim himself the new champion, so we've got yet another HoT stolen belt deal, and Desperado seems destined to feud with these dorks for his entire reign. This was followed by pretty much the same LIJ vs. J5G match we've seen all tour now. It was a good outing, but I can't say that I'm interested in any of this, aside from Tsuji and Uemura's Hair Match in Sapporo at the end of the match. The two youngsters carried the action in this one, which culminated in SANADA tapping out BUSHI at 11:05 with Skull End to go strong into his Title Match with Naito on the 24th.
Perhaps the final ever Okada vs. Tanahashi match followed, twelve years to the day that the Rainmaker Shock happened in this very same building that made Okada a Superstar. This was excellent, emotional stuff that was by no means the best match these two have ever had, but it was a great send-off for what is perhaps the greatest, most consistent feud ever. I've potentially gone a tad high with the rating, but I don't care, I'm sticking with it, as this one had me invested from the minute the entrances happened. The Osaka faithful were super into this, loudly chanting for Okada at the start, going crazy throughout. Tana, who's definitely in "office shape" at the moment, even turned back the clocks and hit the High Fly Body Attack to the floor, which was awesome. After getting the knees up on a HFF attempt, Okada nailed the Tombstone, but Tana turned the Rainmaker into a small package for a great near fall. After some back and forth which the crowd were totally into, Okada hit a beautiful dropkick, a Landslide, and a Rainmaker to put the President away at 16:50 with one final Rainmaker. The pair embraced in the post match, and a teary bowed to the Lion Mark and Okada bid farewell to Osaka. He only has two matches left in his NJPW career in Sapporo, which should be similarly emotional occasions, and hey, who knows, maybe he could even put someone over on his way out (nudge nudge, wink wink).
The IWGP Tag Title bout that followed was something of a dampener, to say the least. This was the opposite of the last match, the crowd were dead for the most part, and it moved at the speed of smell. It was hovering around one star territory, but things picked up once Hikuleo got the hot tag and ran wild, but it was short lived as the ref got bumped, Taiji Ishimori ran in, hit his old pal ELP with a belt, then Hikuleo, which allowed KENTA to steal the win and the titles. Look, I know New Japan likes and rewards loyalty, and Chase Owens was there for them when they needed people badly, but the notion of him holding a major title in NJPW in 2024 is all kinds of bemusing. And to say the new GoD's Tag Title reign was a bit of a disappointment would be an understatement. These guys deserve better, and I honestly don't have the strength to watch another match between these teams after the two we've already seen so far this year.
Thankfully, things turned around in fantastic fashion with an absolutely perfect display of pro-wrestling between ZSJ and Bryan Danielson. This was a rematch of their 5 star classic in AEW last October, and it managed to surpass that match and is the best bout of 2024 so far. Outstanding grappling and counter sequences throughout this, Dragon used an arm wringer to send Sabre's legs into the ropes, which he then proceeded to work over the whole match with intense kicks and leglocks. Zack fought back, working over Danielson's neck. Lots of Romero Specials, Manjigatame's and Cobra Twists, before it broke down into a stiff strike exchange. Danielson hit a big Back Suplex off the top for a near fall, then tried Cattle Mutilation, which Sabre escaped and hit a Zack Driver for a near fall of his own. Dragon hit the stomps, then locked in the crazy arm submission he submitted Okada with, but Zack fought to the ropes. Another strike battle culminated in Danielson hitting the Busaiku Knee out of a backslide, but Sabre turned a second into a European Clutch, they exchanged great cradles, before ZSJ got the pin with a crucifix at 32:46 of fabulous action. The two shook hands afterwards, and now being 1-1, Danielson challenged Zack to a 2 out of 3 falls tiebreaker backstage, which I'm 100% down for. In the ring, ZSJ signalled he wanted a belt, then called out the winner of Naito/SANADA (despite what Chris Charlton might have claimed he said). I'm all for Zack winning the belt to be fair. I've lots to say about Naito being the champion again, which I'll refrain from, but all I will say is that the guy who holds the top belt in this company sure has felt like an after thought since winning.
Then the Dog Pound Cage main event that was also Will Ospreay's New Japan swan song. Look, theres way too much to even attempt to recap, and I went back and forth about going the full 5 stars on this one, as it did feature some stuff I really wasn't keen on. BUT, at the end of the day, these 10 guys put on an absolute spectacle of bloody drama and craziness, and it's definitely not a match I'll forgot any time soon, and a tremendous post match. They had an impossible task in following the previous match, but they had an equally blow-away outing, that was the complete wrestling polar opposite. This was set up like that classic ROH vs. CZW Cage of Death from 2006, in that the cage encircled ringside as opposed to the ring itself, and was fought under War Games rules, with guys coming out every two minutes.
Ospreay and Finaly started, with Ospreay convincing Finlay to let them fight for 5 minutes. Lots and lots of crazy stuff followed, which included the heels bringing out a ton of plunder, Akira hitting an incredible dive off the cage onto the War Dogs before Connors gave him a big spear through an upright table in the corner, Gabe Kidd potatoing HENARE with table shot, that split him open bad on the top of his head, which the doctors at ringside spent a lot of time trying to patch up. HENARE got a receipt of sorts later when he hit Kidd with a super stiff slap that looked like it knocked Gabe silly. Connors hit a big spear on Ospreay through the ropes, off the apron and through a table at ringside, Jeff Cobb ran wild on everyone with his incredible power moves, TJP emerged from under the ring as the Aswang, running wild and misting all the heels, Maloney broke up a pin attempt by Drilla Killa'ing Ospreay into the pile of bodies, Coughlin took a serious wilful beating with kendo sticks, who then took a big senton through a table off HENARE from the top of the cage. Connors introduced thumbtacks, but ended up bumping into the pins. Gedo came out with a barbed wire wrapped table, but O-Khan put an end to his interference, and it was Finlay who went through the barbed wire table, thanks to an Ospreay powerbomb. Gabe Kidd responded by hitting Ospreay with a piledriver off the apron, through a ladder bridge to the floor. Moloney forked Akira in the head, who juiced heavily, but then overcame his fear of the fork, no-sold it, and stabbed Drilla in the head with the cutlery, drawing his blood of his own, then hanged Connors over the top with a dog collar.
The heels then handcuffed Cobb to the cage, removed the ring canvas and padding, exposing the boards, and what followed was absolutely terrifying, as those boards were flying around and guys were falling through the ring left and right, to the point I thought someone might get seriously hurt. HENARE hit a massive vertical suplex on Kidd to the boards, before he too was handcuffed. Akira then took a horrendous Tombstone on the boards, which left Ospreay alone with the War Dogs. Sacrificing himself to save Akira, he tried a Hidden Blade, but collapsed from exhaustion, resulting in him taking a spear into the boards by Connors, then Finlay wrapped his knee in barbed wire and hit Ospreay with his new Overkill finish to end this insanity and win for his team in 64:05 of crazy, mind-blowing action.
The Overkill finish was quite ironic given the amounts of sheer overkill in this thing, there were times when I thought/was begging it would be over, but they just kept going and doing crazier stuff. Anyone who knows me knows I love a good crazy, unhinged blood and gimmicks match, and this was one of the best there's ever been, overkill or not. In the post match, Ospreay bid farewell to New Japan, and he got the big emotional send off with the confetti and all the UE guys surrounding him. Ospreay asked that the fans not forget him, and backstage he promised he'd be back, but when was still a mystery. Losing Ospreay is a major blow to NJPW (not to mention they're also losing Okada!), but I've no doubt he'll do great things in AEW.

Welcome! Pt 1
Jey Uso/reader
Warnings: fluff (this was intended to be smut but it got away from me so that’ll probably be next/last chapter) also parentheses are reader’s thoughts
You watch in the back as the Usos retain their tag team championships. You nod your head as to not show your excitement and glee with everybody watching. You hear someone clear their throat beside you. Naomi smirks and nudges your shoulder, you roll your eyes.
“What?”
“Nothing just watching my husband and his brother do what they do best,” Naomi says.
“Uh huh, yeah sure you are.”
She laughs while putting her arm around your shoulders.
“Why don’t you admit that you like him? And don’t tell me you don’t! I know you do.”
“Can you not tell the whole freaking locker room,” you say as you lightly push her arm off you and pull her from the other superstars.
“Just I dont know, talk to him, or ask him out. You never know what he’ll say,” Naomi says.
“I can’t just…wait, do you know something?”
“Only way to find out.” She turns and walks away.
~Monday Night Raw~
I’m a coward. A total fucking dumbass coward. I just couldn’t do it! I congratulated him and…didn’t really talk to him that much after. I mean I shouldn’t be this nervous about him, but their I was, nervous and just….fuuuccckkk. Like what am I doing anyways I just won the Women’s Battle Royal at Mania, I should be focusing on which championship I should go after, not HIM!
~SDL one week later~
I walked around backstage trying to find someplace to clear my head when I walked into Jey Uso. He instantly smiled at me.
“Hey what’s up girl.”
“Oh hey!” (Bitch don’t fuck this up!!)
“You alright?” You looking a little lost there,” he teases. (FUCK!)
“Uh no I’m good, just looking for a place to clear my head. I mean I am on the blue brand now.”
“True true. Uh if you don’t mind I might have a place where you can do that, you know clear your head,” he offers.
“Really?” “Yea why not. We are gonna see more of each other.”
You smile. “I’d like that.” He returns the smile and reaches for my hand taking it without hesitation. (Oh my goodness what is going on. This can’t be real.)
He opens the door and ushers me in or should I say outside. The stars and moon light the night sky. It’s really breathtaking out here.
“Jey this, this is beautiful,” you say sitting down beside him on the edge of the building.
“Yeah you really are.”
You look at him confused. “What?” He was already looking at you. The stars making his eyes sparkle and the moon shines on his lips as he licks his lips. Where your eyes drop down where his tongue disappears back in his mouth. (Damn I can just imagine what that tongue can do)
“Can I be honest with you for a minute?” You nod your head yes. He takes a deep breath and turns to you. “I uh, ok, how your night going so far?” He looks away.
“Ok I guess…are you ok? Something wrong?”
“Yes! I mean no, I…” He sighs looking back you. (Why is he so nervous?) “You drive me crazy you know. And you’re beautiful and….” he stops.
“And that’s a problem because…” (why’d he stop)
“Because I can barely control myself with you. Every time I’m around you I just want to kiss you. I want to hold you in my arms and not let you go. I-“ he gets up and start to pace.
(Wow I didn’t know he really felt this way. And about me of all people.) Getting and out of your head you grab his arms.
“Jey, look at me.” He looks at down at you. “I didn’t know you felt this way.”
“I do.”
“And you think I’m beautiful?”
“Damn right I do girl. I mean have you seen yourself.”
You chuckle at him. “Have you seen yourself?”
He smiles and grabs your face leaning down to brush his lips to you. Just when you are about to kiss the door busts open.
“Aye Uce you here-oh. My bad…” Jimmy trails off.
“Damn bro! Come on man!” Jey exclaims at his twin.
“I said my bad Uce! I’ll let y’all keep on doing whatcha doing. Just wanted to remind you bout the match tonight.”
Jey glares at his brother. “Ok we got it.”
“Ok.”
“Ok.”
“…..ok.”
“Would you get outta here!”
Jimmy leaves giving us both teasing look as he went. You laugh quietly.
“Oh you think this that’s funny huh? Come here!”
He goes to grab you but you slip from his fingers but he still catches you from behind. He twirls you around and around you both laughing. Putting you down with his arms around your waist and looking into you eyes. He asks “can I kiss you?”
You whisper yes. He leans down and presses his lips toward yours. You wrap your arms around his neck getting him closer to you. He bites and sucks on your lips as you moan and scratch and pull at his hair. You both pull back with your forehead pressed together. He kisses you again.
“Jey,” you moan.
“Welcome” kiss “to” kiss “the Uso” kiss “penitentiary.” Kiss

Fantasy Booking:WCW never goes out of business
In March of 2001, AOL TimeWarner sold off WCW and all it's trademarks, championships, many of it's wrestlers and their entire tape library to the World Wrestling Federation. This happened, because on top of WCW's declining ratings in the Monday Night Wars (thank you SO much Vince Russo), AOL had no interest in airing wrestling on TNT anymore.
So now, we explore an alternate timeline of events, where Eric Bischoff and Fusient Media, beat the WWF in purchasing WCW from AOL TimeWarner in spring of 2001.
So now, Bischoff has basically paid out of pocket to keep WCW out of the hands of the uncaring WWF and it's monster of a CEO. So, what now? Well, WCW would most likely be nearly broke at this point, and would have very little money left to spend. Many lower-card wrestlers would likely get benched, and weekly shows would ALL get cancelled. This includes: Nitro and Thunder!
WCW would be forced to do what TNA did initially in our timeline: do PPV's ONLY, until they could find a new channel to air their weekly programming. Now, it just so happens, that later that same year, the WWF's flagship show: Monday Night Raw, would leave it's traditional home: the USA Network, to begin a four year stint on Spike TV. The USA Network experienced a HUGE loss with this change, and that's where WCW would step in. WCW even in it's worst days, were getting higher weekly ratings than TNA did in it's PRIME. So, needless to say, a now wrestling deprived USA Network, would pick up Nitro and the Monday Night Wars would be BACK ON.
Throughout all of this, Scott Steiner and Booker T, would likely remain on top of the mountain in WCW. Due to many wrestlers getting released, the WCW Cruiserweight Tag Team titles would likely be retired, as would the Hardcore title. With Nitro's re-airing, WCW bring back the Television championship, which is put on the line in a tournament which is won either by a creatively deprived mid-carder (Billy Kidman), or a promising rookie (AJ Styles).
Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash would most likely NOT return to this new WCW. Instead, like many other wrestlers, they would sit at home and let their AOL TimeWarner contracts expire and would most likely join the WWF in early 2002 like they did IRL. Sting on the other hand, I could imagine returning to weekly programming, along with Diamond Dallas Page. DDP was willing to join the WWF IMMEDIATELY after WCW's cancellation IRL, so I think he'd come back to WCW instead of waiting it out. As for Sting, WCW was his home and he refused to join the WWF for many years. I think his loyalty would shine through, and he'd return as well.
Rey Mysterio Jr would wait out his contract like IRL and would get offers from both WWF and WCW. He'd agree to return to WCW, only if they gave him his mask back. Whether Bischoff agrees is up to him and him alone. Hopefully he lets him have it back.
AJ Styles, at least I HOPE, would remain employed by WCW. I think at this point in his career, Styles wouldn't dare leave a company like WCW, that could really help him get a foot in the door. His tag partner, Air Paris, would most likely be released. I think anyone could see Styles potential even this early on, and he'd be worth keeping in the long run. Hopefully, Bischoff would agree with me on that.
WCW's ratings would DEFINTELY increase throughout the 2000's. They'd actually be able to compete with WWE in my opinion, both because fans started losing interest in WWE frequently throughout the decade, and WCW has a LOT more legitimacy as a company than TNA did. TNA lost the second Monday Night War so definitively, because people couldn't take them seriously. WCW with it's rich history, is a very different story.
Now, when considering WCW in the long run, we have to sit back and ask ourselves, what wrestlers would NEVER join WCW? Well, here's a list of wrestlers I think wouldn't be on the table for WCW:
The Undertaker - Similar to Sting with WCW, Taker is a WWF man through and through. There's no WAY he would ever jump ship.
Kane - Same reason as the Undertaker.
Stone Cold Steve Austin - Austin would hold a grudge against Eric Bischoff for his unjust firing in 1995 while he was out with injury. Even when he walked out on the WWF in 2002, Austin wouldn't be caught dead on WCW programming.
The Rock - Rock's loyalty to the WWF would remain intact. The WWF made him a star, and he wouldn't forget that. Plus, WWF would finance his early films like IRL, making him a WWF-lifer.
Eddie Guerrero - Guerrero hated the way he was treated in WCW, hence why he left them in 2000. Would be unlikely to ever return, even when WWF briefly fired him.
Chris Benoit - Benoit also left WCW in a huff in 2000 for the same reasons as Eddie. Even being crowned WCW World champion, wasn't enough to keep Benoit around, so I see no reason why he'd budge.
Randy Orton - Bob Orton Jr never went to WCW during the Monday Night Wars, and I couldn't imagine him doing so in the early 2000's either. So therefore, his son Randy, would only get his wrestling career opportunity in WWE.
Batista - Had previously been rejected from the WCW Powerplant, and was told he would never make it in the business. Batista would NEVER forget that, and wouldn't think twice about joining and staying with the WWE instead.
Daniel Bryan - William Regal and Shawn Michaels trained him to wrestle. He would of course want to join them in WWE.
The Miz - WCW wouldn't even let him in the door, let's be honest.
I'm sure there's plenty of other people I'm missing, but for now let's go with this.
Now, I do believe WCW would operate somewhat like TNA did in its early years. Apart from the PPV-exclusive format WCW would operate with throughout most of 2001, it would also likely feature a lot of the same wrestlers. However, it's also important to note, that TNA would NEVER exist in this timeline. Jeff Jarrett formed it because WCW shut down and he knew WWF wouldn't want him after what he pulled in 1999. So, he formed TNA, so he'd have a non-WWF promotion to call home. In this timeline, WCW never closes, so Jarrett remains in WCW and TNA is never formed.
In 2004, Brock Lesnar would be picked up by WCW. Brock left WWE IRL in 2004, because they're schedule was too much for Brock to handle. WCW prided itself in it's lighter schedule, and Brock would be the biggest free agent in wrestling. Lesnar would agree, on the condition that he be given extended periods of inactivity in order to pursue the NFL (and later UFC), which WCW would agree to do. Anything to get Lesnar. In fact, I'd bet that many UFC fighters would join WCW. Eric Bischoff has a real appreciation for MMA and other contact sports, and we'd likely see a lot of UFC/WCW cross-promotions.
WCW throughout the 2000's, would also likely hire all the big indie stars not signed by the WWE. CM Punk is a definite in my opinion. Although, I could also imagine Punk joining WWE instead, since Paul Heyman was the one who vouched for him, and Heyman was in WWE, NOT WCW. However, if WCW values wrestling (which it normally did), then WCW would come knocking on Punk's door.
Samoa Joe would be a definite yes for WCW. I'm honestly surprised Joe ever went to WWE, considering how rude Jim Ross apparently was to him early in his indie career. With no TNA, Joe would go to WCW and would quickly rise to the main event.
Kurt Angle would likely join WCW in 2006, after leaving the WWE like he did IRL. He'd be a MAJOR signing for WCW, and would definitely help further boost ratings.
Other people I could imagine joining WCW throughout the years include:
Bobby Lashley
Drew McIntyre
Seth Rollins
Jon Moxley
Lance Archer
Big Show
AJ Lee
Charlotte Flair
Gail Kim
Awesome Kong
Cesaro
Jay Lethal
Richie Steamboat
Again, I'm sure I've missed a lot of people, but these ones all stick out to me personally.
Some effects WCW's presence would have on WWE, include the fact that Evolution would never be formed (at least not in the same way). There's a VERY real chance that Triple H and Shawn Michaels could both have joined WCW, if Hall and Nash had decided to stay in WCW. If not, then Ric Flair definitely would've stayed in WCW, and Evolution might not have happened at all.
Another thing is that John Cena might never have become a big deal. WWE came very close to firing Cena, and there's a chance that because of the butterfly effect, Stephanie McMahon never discovers his rapping ability, and Cena is fired. If that's the case, Cena probably wouldn't have gone to WCW, since they wouldn't see much value in a kid who at the time, had no visible charisma and was fairly average in the ring.
Cody Rhodes also never would've joined WWE or formed AEW. Dusty Rhodes and Goldust would've stayed in WCW instead of joining the WWF, and thus Cody would be trained in the WCW Powerplant and debuted on Nitro in 2007. Cody would be treated a LOT better than IRL, and would've become one of WCW's biggest players of the 2010's. No mistreatment by WWE, means no Stardust, no American Nightmare, no AEW, and no run in WWE period. Cody would be WCW-bound for life.
The Hardy Boyz would also be WCW-bound. Jeff was fired from WWE in 2003 after refusing to go to rehab. He'd be a hot free agent that WCW couldn't possibly pass up. Matt would join him in 2005, when WWE fires him for his online post about Edge and Lita's affair.
Ring of Honor would still exist, but probably wouldn't rise to prominence like IRL, since ROH became popular because of WCW's demise. When WCW shut down, people yearned for an alternative to WWE. But now, WCW is still around and thus ROH is a lot more obscure. If WCW got to a point of getting rich again, I could imagine them buying it out like Tony Khan did IRL. The wealth of talent ROH could provide WCW with would be INSANE.
Now, if CM Punk DID join WCW, then he never would've retired in 2014. He would be likely treated a little better, get no staph infection, and would remain active throughout the entirety of the 2010's. He'd probably never marry AJ Lee sadly, although I could imagine Lee going to WCW, since WWE's women's division was AWFUL for a long time. Then again WCW's wasn't that much better honestly, though hopefully that would change in this timeline.
The nWo would absolutely be revived at some point, with new members. CM Punk would be a FANTASTIC nWo leader.
The WWE as a whole, would probably be a better overall product. Vince wouldn't get an inflated ego from purchasing both ECW and WCW, and would still operate like he did in the Attitude Era. WWE would still lose viewers after the deaths of Eddie and Benoit. WWE would still go PG and despite the ongoing Monday Night Wars, Vince McMahon CLEARLY has mental health problems in real life, so it wouldn't stop him from micromanaging. WWE would remain out of touch with it's fans and continue pushing wrestlers that fans don't like. With Edge, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Undertaker and Batista all leaving WWE in 2010 and 11, plus with Cena possibly never becoming a main eventer, WWE suffers a LOT in the early 2010's, helping WCW gain even more fan support with better promos and matches.
WCW would form a working partnership with NJPW, which would really help them even more, since it would get them wrestlers like Kenny Omega, Shinsuke Nakamura, Jushin Liger, Jay White and Kazuchika Okada to perform on Nitro. Just IMAGINE THAT.
By today, WCW would be more popular than WWE and AEW in our timeline. It would get millions of viewers a week, and WWE would likely become a shell of it's former self. The wrestling landscape is a lot healthier, with viewers and performers having a different place to watch/wrestle, that was actually on WWE's level. TNA suffered because it was a lesser promotion, with a short history, and a roster of WWE's leftovers. Plus it was run by Vince Russo and Dixie Carter. Ugh.
WCW surviving would've been the best thing possible for wrestling as a whole. We can blame Vince McMahon, for yet another thing he robbed the world of. Thank you so so much Vince. We REALLY appreciate it.
The current champions for WCW are as follows:
WCW World Heavyweight Champion: Cody Rhodes
WCW United States Champion: Seth Rollins
WCW Women’s Champion: Charlotte Flair
WCW World Television Champion: AJ Styles
WCW World Cruiserweight Champion: Adam Cole
WCW World Tag Team Champions: FTR

WWE SMACKDOWN MAGAZINE: SEPTEMBER 2005
MNM
“WE’RE GOING TO BE BIGGER THAN ELVIS”
By Keith Elliot Greenberg
You might say that MNM is rewriting history one snapshots at a time. Each time one of the paparazzi snaps their picture, it helps their star shine just a little bit brighter. In fact, they enjoy having their picture taken so much that they named their fishing move the Snapshot. And similarly, every time they nail the move, it brings them one step closer to becoming one of the greatest tag teams of all time.
With each victory, the trio becomes more and more resentful of those who apparently dismissed MNM as a fad that would soon fade. In the August issue of Smackdown! Magazine, Nitro said, “We're going to be bigger than Elvis, bigger than the Beatles.”
When you make statements as pompous as that, it’s understood that many will root against you. But MNM expected contempt from opponents, as well as the fans they’d derided as “too weird, too fat, too stupid, too scared, or too damn normal.” Now the trio believes their harshest detractors are the same journalists and paparazzi profiting from covering the electrifying new tag team.
“I have plenty of admirers in high places who’ve told me what these weasel journalists utter behind our backs,” Melina says. “I heard that some even started a pool over whether we’d be on a losing streak by the time the August issue of SmackDown! On sale–and guess who’s on the cover?”
To a degree, Melina’s self-righteousness is reasonable. After all, many observers initially tagged MNM as the team more famous for its look than anything else. Even before their first match on SmackDown!, MNM was trailed by photographers more intrigued by the threesomes' unique appearance than its achievements.
When Nitro & Mercury captured the WWE Tag Team Championship in their very first match, the popular consensus was that the gold would slip through their fingers right away. They were too arrogant, too shallow and too inexperienced to remain at the top of the tag team ranks. Somehow, MNM proved all their critics wrong. And, now, when the paparazzi appear, there’s a legitimate reason why the pictures are in such great demand.
In April, the team came out of nowhere and captured the titles from Eddie Guerrero & Rey Mysterio–two proud Latino stars not accustomed to getting bested by untested talent. Although tensions had been simmering between Guerrero & Mysterio already, the loss sent their relationship into a tailspin. The two were soon bitter enemies, and when they reconciled for one night to challenge for MNM’s championship, the result was disastrous.
In the aftermath, Mysterio was plagued by troubling doubts, while Guerrero appeared to be possessed by demons. Meanwhile, MNM’s light only burned brighter.
“That’s what we do,” Melina says, “We take the icons you people have chosen to worship, and we reduce them to nothing. We’re competitors, baby. And when you compete, some people lose and some people win.” “We happen to choose the latter.”
That was made abundantly clear when MNM tangled with Heidenreich and his new “friend,” Road Warrior Animal. The cocky young tag team held their ground against Animal–at one time one-half of perhaps the greatest tag team ever-refusing to be intimidated by his legendary status.
“The Road Warriors, The Midnight Express, The British Bulldogs, The Dudley Boyz, all those tag teams everyone talks about as being so great,” Melina says. “Yeah, they were probably all right in their day, but that’s the past. This is now. MNM is the tag team of the present, and of the future. Deal with it.” For Melina, that aggressive spirit extends outside the realm of tag team combat. Repelled by the notion that her fellow WWE Divas are paragons of beauty, Melina has used both violent language and sadistic behavior to diminish their status.
In one memorable confrontation with Michelle McCool, Melina actually asked her boys to remain backstage. Melina then tore into the athletic blonde with an aptitude that matched the newcomer’s managerial abilities. In the end, Melina survived a dropkick and a spear. But as her opponents straddled the ropes, punching downward, Melina shook off the bows, snatched Michelle, and defeated her with a powerbomb.
Even among MNM’s enemies, there were immediate comparison to other females who established themselves in WWE as managers, but ultimately transcended the role.
Today, for instance, few recall that Trish Stratus actually entered WWE as the manager of T&A–the hulking duo of Albert (later A-Train) and Test. Like Melina, Trish drew fans with her good looks, but she had greater ambitions. After she struck out on her own, she dominated the Women’s Division.
Parallels have also been made to Sunny, the stunning cover girl who shepherded several teams to tag team gold in the mid-1990s. In the process, she gained a reputation as a woman who pretty much attained anything she desired.
Others theorize that Melina’s career may most closely resemble that of Sensational Sherri. At different stages, Sherri managed Shawn Michaels, Randy Savage and Ric Flair, and also held the Women’s Championship.
Yet, those who focus on Melina fall into the trap MNM hopes to set–diverting opponents away from the strengths and weaknesses of Nitro & Mercury.
Mercury all but admitted this recently when he told a reporter, “While our opponents are busy thinking about Melina, talking about Melina, and, yes, fantasizing about Melina, Johnny and I can pretty much step into that ring and do whatever we want to them.”
Because of their early success, Nitro &N Mercury’s potential is sometimes compared with the records of other WWE newcomers who swiftly rocket to the top of their profession. But such comparisons mean little to them.
“We hear people comparing us to guys from back in the day like Kerry Von Erich, because he burst on the scene and won the Intercontinental title right away,” Mercury says. “But those people just don’t get it. Bon Erich already established himself years before when he beat Ric Flair for the NWA title. Unlike the ‘Texas Tornado,’ we walked into WWE cold. We came out of nowhere and shocked all the so-called experts.”
“I mean, sure there were Superstars like Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar who came here and won titles right off the bat, but even those guys didn’t do what we did,” Nitro says. “Angle was an Olympic gold medalist; Lesnar was an NCAA Champion. WWE fans had no idea who we were that first night, when we debuted in Madison Square Garden. But we changed all that by winning the WWE Tag team titles that same night. Now, everyone knows who we are.” Perhaps it’s more appropriate to measure MNM next to Carlito, who won the U.S. Championship in his first SmackDown! match, or Christian, who earned the Light Heavyweight title in his WWE debut. Both came out of nowhere and very quickly grabbed the spotlight. And in both their cases, they have remained among WWE’s elite ever since.
“To all those people who say we got lucky, I have news for you,” Nitro says. “We were lucky the day we were born. Not everyone is blessed with the attributes we were given. And that’s too bad. But nobody says that life is fair. It’s not really our fault if we’re perfect in an imperfect world.”
It’s an attitude MNM carries on the red carpet and , as the results have shown, into the ring as well.

backlash winner predictions
bienvenue et bonsoir to backlash in lyon, france! airing at a time much appreciated by european fans, we are here to maintain our questionable record in predictions for the latest wwe premium live event.
undisputed wwe championship: “the american nightmare” cody rhodes (c) retains against “the phenomenal one” aj styles. aj will be retiring, so he’s doing the right thing and putting people over on his way out. cody is also the new john cena, so you gotta keep him hot
world heavyweight championship: “the archer of infamy” damian priest (c) retains against “main event” jey uso. jey’s time to shine will be against his bloodline relatives, and damian needs the time at the top to break away from the judgement day
wwe women’s championship: tiffany stratton wins in a triple threat against naomi and bayley (c). it’s tiffy time. we don’t know what else to tell you
rko v the bloodline: solo sikoa and the “mft” tama tonga win against “the viper” randy orton and kevin owens. solo and tama tonga need to remain a legit threat to be a future faction in the roman reigns breakdown
wwe women’s tag team championship: bianca belair and jade cargill win against kairi sane and asuka (c). their presentation at wrestlemania engendered a lot of positive response, and seeing jade lose (even with damage ctrl shenanigans) would undermine that. we wanna see bianca in singles competition soon though.

Since, she was always out with her dad on the farm they always came in and sat down in the living room on the old grandma couch watching wrestling. Scarlette was always fascinated with the women and men throwing, tackling, punching, and slapping each other like it was nothing. Scarlette told her ma and pa one night, that “you’ll see me throwin’ people like i throw straw, dad.”. He laughed at her, but he could see her doing it one day. As he valet/manager just to get a feel of the ring and what's going on in and around the ring. Then, when Roman moved up to WWE with Seth Seth and Dean Ambrose she became their valet. Until the day came of Hecate making her debut and snatching the Divas Championship from AJ Lee, in a surprise match that AJ was begging for a new contender on April 22, 2013 till February 2, 2014 to Nikki Bella. In May 2013 at Extreme Rules, the next three members of The Shield won a championship, with Ambrose winning the United States Championship while Seth and Roman captured the WWE Tag Team Championship.  Yet all things must come to an end. The Shield in ring, Triple H's "plan B" for destroying The Shield turned out to be Seth suddenly attacking Ambrose, Roman and Hecate with a steel chair, signaling Seth re-alignment with The Authority. On the June 9 episode of Raw, Seth described his betrayal as severing a business relationship and that he had destroyed "his own creation" to further his own interests, while Ambrose and Roman (still labeled as The Shield)  addressed Seth' betrayal with Ambrose describing Seth as a "cancer" in The Shield, while Roman claimed that Seth "committed the most unforgivable sin". Later that no one seems to know where Hecate is or where she went, she disappeared from the face of the earth; not even Roman knew where she disappeared off to. Until Hecate resurfaced in Aew, competing in women's Casino Battle Royale and defeating Riho, she became the first ever AEW Women Champion. She held her championship for 135 days until losing it to Nyla Rose. Hecate has been popping up on Aew for any and all matches she can get her hands on, until a familiar face of Dean Ambrose/ Jon Moxley joined. Jon wanted her to be with him in BCC (Black Combat Club) but she respectfully declined but will keep the offer on her mind (She won't take it because of Wheeler).  But now she had a very surprising message from an OLD friend she knows very well.
“You want to play mind games on your older brother?”
Who can say no to that question……
Tumblr media
I really don't know how to describe Bella; I slightly want her dressing like a hot Cheeto girl "gothic" clothes, but basic ass lounge wear. Her hair is usually in a bun, doesn't matter if its messy or not. No long nails, just short nice and kept up with. Her job is a social media person for her family's bakery.

For the prompt: Charles winning his first championship after the last race and Max being with him on the podium
This prompt fits really well to Broken Hearts and Broken Dreams in my charles wdc au tag so I kinda wrote it in a way it can be a third chapter to it but it can also be a single-chapter story. I hope you'll like it! 😊 (Also, please forgive me my one sentence of Google Translate Italian...)
You can read the previous two chapters here, if you're interested: First chapter, Second chapter.

Violins playin' and the angels cryin'
When the stars align, then I'll be there
“Il Predestinato, sei il campione del mondo!” Xavi screamed on the radio after Charles crossed the line on the last race of the season, “Charles Leclerc, you're the world champion! What a race, what a season, what a driver!”
“Oh my Goooood!” Charles screamed, tears filling his eyes, not waiting long until running down his cheeks. “We're back on the top, guys, we're back! Oh my God! I can't believe it! Thank you so much to everyone on the team, I couldn't have done this without you, guys. This is for everyone, team! I'm proud of you all. Thank you so much!” Charles said, his heart filled with emotions, struggling to put his thoughts together as he drove the car back to the pits after the cool-down lap. He couldn't believe he's finally reached his goal, his dream. World Champion with Ferrari. The Predestined put it all together and brought Ferrari back where they belong. The stars aligned and he was there.
“Did you see the fireworks?” Xavi asked before Charles got out of the car. “They're for you, Charles. Enjoy!”
“Unbelievable,” Charles said, smiling under the helmet as he prepared to get out, “Thank you so much!
As he got out of the car and stood on it to celebrate, pointing to the Ferrari logo on his suit over his heart, the cheer of the fans and the team became even louder than it was on the cool-down lap. They filled his heart with pride.
“Il Predestinato!” Daniel exclaimed when he went to Charles after getting out of his Red Bull at the third place spot, “Congratulations, mate!”, he said, pulling Charles into a bone-crushing hug, “Incredible season, incredible driver. Well deserved, Charles. Be proud of yourself, this one's for you.”
“Thank you, mate,” Charles smiled as he hugged back, “Oh my God, this is incredible, I can't believe it.”
When they let go of the hug, Max congratulated him too, first without words, only with a hug because he wasn't sure what to say. It hurt that he couldn't win but he was also incredibly proud of Charles because he raced clean, with almost zero mistakes all season and their battles were really enjoyable, they made Max fall in love with this sport again. It's not the same without having strong competitors to race with. And now he had one, again, after years of domination. It hurt him to lose but things change, the focus changes, and the better one wins. And this time it was Charles.
“Are you okay?” Charles asked when Max still hadn't said anything but kept hugging him.
“Yeah, sorry,” Max said almost too quietly for Charles to hear, “Congratulations, Charles. I always knew you would of course be a world champion one day. This is the day. You were amazing, it was very lovely to race with you,” Max said, squeezing Charles' shoulder, “I can't wait for you to step on the top of the podium and shine, I promise it will be an amazing feeling.”
Charles smiled and when Max let him go, he ran to the team to celebrate with them before heading to the interviewer to do the post-race interview and then to the cool-down room to wait there until they could go to the podium.
All the hugs, shoulder pats, touch, congratulations, and everything made him feel so loved and appreciated he couldn't even believe it. It was almost like he was waiting to wake up from this dream, but it wasn't a dream, it was the long awaited reality, the result of all the hard work, blood, sweat, and tears. He put everything in this season. Everything. And it was worth it.
A few minutes later they were standing on the podium, the Monegasque anthem just started and that was when Charles couldn't hold the tears back anymore. With his hand over his heart, he looked up to the sky, thinking about his father and Jules. He did this for them, too, because without them he couldn't be there today. He didn't care about the tears anymore, he didn't wipe them off. This moment was for the emotions.
After they've got the trophies, Max and Daniel gave an incredible champagne shower to Charles, it looked like he was bathing in holy water. When Max and Daniel stopped for a moment to drink, it was Charles' time to get revenge on them. First on Daniel because he was closer, and then he moved on to his boyfriend.
“I heard you like the champagne shower, Max!” Charles laughed when Max turned his back to him, not wanting the shower in his face.
“He likes it,” Daniel agreed, joining Charles, “But you know what he likes more? This,” Daniel said while getting his shoes off, to fill it with the rest of his champagne.
“Charles needs to drink the first one,” Max stated, looking at Charles as he sprayed the fans and the team under the podium.
Max didn't care about his second place anymore. Seeing Charles this happy meant everything to him.
“The shoey is here for the world champion,” Daniel said, showing it to Charles.
“Oh my God,” Charles exclaimed, laughing, “I can't escape it anymore.”
“Yeah,” Daniel nodded, “It's time to try it. Max has the other one,” Daniel gave his other shoe to Max, “Make this one an epic moment.”
Daniel didn't need to say more, Charles looked at Max, Max nodded, and then both of them drank the champagne from Daniel's shoes while Daniel stood behind them like a wedding officiant. The champagne tasted awful but it still was a big thing for them.
“Now you have to drink one, too,” Charles told Daniel when he gave back the shoe. “You need to suffer with us.”
“It's not even that bad,” Daniel laughed before drinking out the last few drops of champagne from his shoe. At that moment he knew Charles was right, because yes, it indeed was suffering. Stinky and sweaty champagne. Delicious. But they all laughed and that was the point of it. Enjoying the moment.
And Charles enjoyed the whole night that day, celebrating with the team, partying, and then going home to his family with Max for a few calmer days. He needed it after all the celebrations.
One night, at Charles' apartment, Charles and Max celebrated together, in the most beautiful way possible, by making love. It wasn't fucking like what they usually do. No, it was making love. There's a difference and Max wanted to show this to Charles because special occasions require special treatment.
And even though they didn't know back then, they put the cherry on the top of their journey, because a few weeks later Charles started experiencing symptoms he has already experienced once back in the season. But this time it was happy news for them.
Before the winter testing, both Charles and Max shocked the world by announcing their retirement, revealing their relationship and, at the same time, also announcing that they're going to have a baby.
They both achieved what they wanted in this sport, it was now time to start a family.

It might be recency bias but I wish it was Dark Order and Best Friends feuding over the Trios Tag Team Championships, I just preferred that match to any of the Dark Order vs. The Acclaimed matches of recent times. Dark Order are an incredible team but Best Friends really helped them shine in that match and it just makes me wish we could get more matches like that, add in Alex and Chuck too. I just really loved that match and I haven't really felt like that about AEW's booking of Dark Order in a bit. Watching Uno outside of AEW is always fun but this was the first time in a bit that I felt just really satisfied with an AEW match.

A lot of people bring up the terrible Matt/Jeff rivalry for why a Jey/Jimmy story wouldn't work but the thing is the Jey/Jimmy story has a lot of elements to their story that a lot of Brother Vs Brother fueds never had. I think one important one is that it's not coming out of nowhere as much as people want to say that. They just haven't been paying attention even when Roman and Paul has spoon fed it to them. Not just that, but there's been elements to this story sprinkled through for THREE years. They have history on their side. Especially the tragedy of Jey, always choosing Jimmy and Jimmy doing this to him. It's not going to be a sound bite. We saw this shit. Second, these other brother feuds were single stars or had established a singles career. The Usos are so interwoven they share a wiki, a theme, merch, and a Twitter. They have functioned as a tag team only, so one of them getting that shine is going to produce cracks even though those matches were never about singles glory. Third, in a lot of these stories, one was clearly the favorite, more preferred brother. For a long time, that was Jimmy and now Jey but never at a Matt vs. Jeff kind of level. I mean, until broken Matt Hardy, no one cared about Matt (except maybe Edge/Lita feud, but they stopped caring real quick).Fourth, both Usos are not afraid to be emotional, especially when it comes to each other. They are going to make this shit hurt. Fifth, their BOTH excellent Mic workers with different strengths and I think those strength will fit both their roles in this story.
I agree with you on pretty much all of that, anon! This turned into another essay, but I had a lot of thoughts on this (and obsessively worked on it since you sent that ask), so please bear with me.
People simply don’t fucking know what they’re talking about. Even mentioning these two feuds in the same breath feels like major disrespect toward everything these guys have been working on so hard for these past three years and the decade before that.
I’ll never disregard the Hardy Boyz as a tag team, cause I loved them growing up and they did plenty of incredible things too, but The Usos are the greatest tag team of all time and I’ll stand by that. They’re the longest-tenured tag team in WWE history, with the longest tag title run under their belts, they’re family, they’re twins and they (together with Roman) have been running that main event scene for the past three years. Hell, even before The Bloodline they were the tag team that made that entire division relevant. They made it so a tag championship match was the main event of Wrestlemania. It doesn’t get bigger or better than that.
And now that they’ve pretty much achieved everything that there is to achieve in tag team wrestling, they’re trying their hand at this whole single’s competitor/ twin vs. twin feud thing. It’s been the dream for so long and now that they finally get to do it, you can bet your ass they won’t let it be bad. This is gonna be straight fire on all cylinders 🔥
I’ll admit you could draw parallels with both Jimmy and Matt costing their brothers the title by turning on them (and in the twin’s case something a lot more meaningful than that too) and both of them doing it out of jealousy (at least that's what we suspect in Jimmy's case). That’s where the parallels end though.
Everything else is vastly different.
With Jey and Jimmy we had three years of deep character work, we’ve seen them as an unbreakable unit who always had each other’s backs, no questions asked (and you’re right, Jimmy was the undisputed favorite for a long time, but Jey was never anything but 100% proud of him). Yes, Jey has already established himself as a single’s competitor, but that was out of necessity when Jimmy was out with an injury.
We’ve had three years worth of storytelling and over a decade of watching what family/brotherhood means to these guys. And not to forget they are twins. I can’t pretend to be able to even imagine that kind of bond, but from what I understand it’s so much deeper than any other kind of sibling bond.
The industry has changed a lot since that admittedly ghastly feud between Matt and Jeff and most of it is for the better.
The Hardy feud was riddled with loads of distasteful shit that would never fly today (and thank god for that, I remember that dead dog promo and some other stuff and both Matt and Jeff have said over the years that they hated it and didn’t feel comfortable).
It’s been stated before that The Bloodline (that includes Jimmy and Jey) have a lot more creative freedom than the other two ever did, so I expect this to be a lot more organically and from the heart and a lot more logical and tasteful. They don’t have to spin some weird ass story when the story is right there and has been right there all along.
Another few notes that are sure as hell gonna make sure that this feud will leave us all weeping on the floor while pulling our hair out:
Jimmy and Jey are pure fire on the mic & incredible actors. Their body language? Their facial expressions? It’s gonna HURT.
These two are some of the best workers in the ring. These two know each other inside out, better than anyone else. So they’ll have to come up with a couple of new aces up their sleeves and I can’t wait. They’ll put on some banger matches and I can’t wait! Like Jey said in that Ariel Helwani interview, they’ve been practicing for this since their childhoods/ their wrestling matches in the living room.
Jey gave up everything for Jimmy, so the stakes are way higher. Like you said, everything Jey and gave up was for Jimmy and Jimmy only. He took Roman’s abuse, he turned on Sami, he turned on Roman only after Jimmy did it first, he challenged Roman to avenge Jimmy and protect him from a future of being shunned by their family. He didn’t want to become the Tribal Chief, he didn’t want that burden, yet for his twin he was willing to take it and carry it going forward. And yet Jimmy turned on him like all of that meant nothing.
So yeah, even mentioning these two feuds in the same sentence should be a crime. Wherever this is going, it’s gonna be a billion times better than that terrible attempt at a feud Matt and Jeff had, that’s not a prediction, that’s a spoiler.

one year ago today, dakota kai was released from wwe. fast forward a year: since her return to wwe at summerslam, she has main evented raw 3 times, won the women’s tag team championship twice, and competed in matches at 5 premium live events (including 2 victories). she went bell to bell in wargames for the third straight year. she lasted over 20 minutes in the royal rumble. she competed at wrestlemania against 2 current hall of famers and a future hall of famer.
a year ago, i wondered if we would ever see her in wwe again. despite how rough it’s been to get here, it’s absolutely incredible to watch her shine.
the future is so damn bright for dakota kai. there’s nowhere to go but up, and the sky’s the limit.

Dynamite 29/11/23
The Jack Perry Conspiracy
Tumblr media
Dynamite continues the Continental Classic with Jon Moxley vs. Jay Lethal. The only thing about this tournament I don’t like is that we’re told no one can interfere, and that everything is put into place to make sure we get clean matches. If this is possible to do in story, then why not do this for every wrestling match? It doesn’t make any sense. But I digress. Lethal loses the opening bout due to rear naked choke. Moxley leads with six points. Poor Lethal has zero.
Eddie Kingston is disappointed in his defeat last week and here he said he will be ready for Bryan Danielson. Eddie has a lot more to lose in his tournament than everyone else. Bryan is on commentary – eyepatch and all – and he delivers some strong words for his preparation on Saturday. This match is going to be awesome.
Sting will have his last match on March 3 in Greensboro, North Carolina at the Greensboro Coliseum. Both Sting and Ric Flair talked about the match they had there 35 years ago at Clash of Champions for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. The match ended in a draw at 45 minutes. Take in as much Sting as you can because we only have 4 months of him left.
In the second Continental match of the night, Rush pinned Jay Briscoe to obtain his first three points. Jay – like Lethal – have zero points. Rush and Briscoe had better matches last week, although this was decent.
Toni Storm will be defending her title next week. Against whom? No body mentioned a name.
MJF comes out to the ring and praises Samoa Joe for his accomplishments. He said Joe paved the way for people like him and that Joe never got the recognition he deserved in WWE. MJF gets fired up for his match and breaks his cane in half. This is when the goons who work for the Devil make an appearance. Three masked men hold MJF as a large guy with a baseball bat threatens him. It’s worth noting when Wardlow comes out next, his hair looks quite messy; as if it could had been under a mask. Joe comes to Max’s aid just as he promised. The Devil requests a tag match with Max and Joe next week, and the challenge is accepted. I’m not sure if this is with two of the goons or with the Devil himself, who I still believe is Jack Perry. For a fun little dive in to the Jack Perry conspiracy, check out this thread on X.
Wardlow – with mask hair – came out to fight AR Fox. Fox gets some offensive early on, but Wardlow dominates most of the match and wins by stoppage. I don’t see Wardlow going into a solo feud with MJF. Wardlow is still getting his momentum back, so the feud wouldn’t really be strong, but if he is apart of this new group, then I think this would be a great way for him to get his match with Max.
Dante Martin is back from a horrific looking injury and he teams with his brother and Action Andretti to take on the Hardy Boyz and Brother Zay. Martin showcased some nice athletic moves while picking up the win. This match was built around the return and it worked for Dante. The Hardyz are floating around not doing much. It's fine to take the loss, but they gotta get them in some sort of story.
Julia Hart defended her TSB title against Emi Sakura in a decent bout. The ending was strange as Emi rolled as Hart delivered the moonsault which caused Hart land awkwardly.
Christian Cage called out Adam Copeland so that he could convince him to team up. He brings up their past and that Adam’s mother said she would have loved to see them tag again, but unfortunately, she passed away. Adam was contemplating the offer before Christian tried to hit Adam with the TNT belt, but Copeland knew his former best friend too well and deliver a kick to the balls sending Christian to the mat. Adam tells him to shine the belt up real nice for next week for their match and tells Christian to go fuck himself. This entire segment had me hooked. Christian is such a mean bastard, and I keep thinking of how low he can go each week.
Jay White and Swerve Strickland was our main event. Swerve picked up the win and continues his winning streak.
I like this episode of Dynamite. Matches were good and we have some excitement rolling into next week with this Devil storyline. Julia needs a new feud and something needs to be done with Matt and Jeff as they are not being used effectively.
