As April rolled around once again, signaling the arrival of our beloved anime "Your Lie in April," I couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement and nostalgia. This month held a special place in our hearts, as it was a reminder of the emotional journey we had experienced alongside the characters. The bittersweet melodies and heartfelt performances had left a lasting impact on us, and we eagerly anticipated reliving those moments as we gathered with friends for viewing parties and discussions. The anime had not only entertained us, but also taught us valuable lessons about love, loss, and the power of music. 

In anticipation of this momentous month, I decided to channel my creativity into a fanart that paid homage to the series. The subject of my artwork was the captivating and enigmatic character, Kaori Miyazono. Known for her vibrant personality and undeniable talent as a violinist, she had captured the hearts of fans worldwide. Kaori's character development throughout the series was truly remarkable, as she faced personal struggles and showcased incredible resilience. Her passion for music was infectious, inspiring many of us to pursue our own artistic endeavours. Creating the fanart allowed me to express my admiration for Kaori and the impact she had on both the story and our lives. 

Drawing inspiration from a fanart I had come across, I meticulously recreated the essence of Kaori. Her long, flowing golden hair cascaded down her back, catching the light in a way that seemed to mirror her effervescent spirit. With every stroke of the digital pen, I sought to capture her vivaciousness, her zest for life, and her unwavering determination. The vibrant colours I chose for her eyes reflected the depth of her emotions, while the gentle curve of her smile conveyed a sense of warmth and joy. Welp, I'm back, with a new April Fools' cover! Link will be further down this post, but here's an update on the Your Lie in April Campaign!
