I still haven’t finished aai2 so, while I am familiar and used to the fan localization names, I’m definitely not as entangled as some people are with those names; ‘cause I’ve been trying to avoid seeing more spoilers for it than I already have.

So I feel like that puts me in an interesting position of like, understanding the fan name bias but also probably having an easier time adjusting to the official names than most, idk we’ll have to see

#I think… so far I do still like the fan names better just as names #overall #Debeste is definitely more clever than just ‘winner’#but I don’t think Eustace is so different from Sebastian vibe-wise #but contrastly I think Gavelle is more clever and funny than just ‘Courtney’ and kinda fits her vibes better #could say the same about Verity instead of Justine but I do personally like the sound of Justine better #Sheilds to Fender makes sense; I don’t hate it but I do get the bias towards Sheilds #Raymond to Eddie feels like the biggest tonal shift honestly lol #Idk he just has very chill cool guy vibes that fit with ‘Ray’ more than ‘Ed’#but I can get there I think
