Maggot update! I replayed the Orin fight multiple times for a variety of reasons but our final/"canon" outcome is that 1. The kidnapped laezel didn't die, yay 2. We slaughtered Orin handily, yay 3. After all this slaughter, all this death, becoming a dread assassin of bhaal and reclaiming our place as his Champion... maggot realized that he was just another asshole trying to control her and take away her choices, and that she deserved freedom and autonomy just as much as everyone else she's met along the way. So she refused his gift <3 and now she fights her own fight, faithless, godless, fatherless, and free <3
