PAF Museum, Karachi
PAF Museum, Karachi is an Air Force museum and park situated near Karsaz Interchange on Shahra-e-Faisal in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.
A majority of the aircraft, weapons and radar are displayed outside in the park but the main museum features all major fighter aircraft that have been used by the Pakistan Air Force. The museum also houses the Vickers VC.1 Viking used by Quaid-e-Azam Mohammed Ali Jinnah, founder of Pakistan and a Folland Gnat of Indian Air Force,[1] that landed in Pasrur in 1965 war. Also on display are the scale models of some WWI, WWII and modern aircraft and photo galleries of almost all the squadrons of PAF,
History
The museum was established in 1990 in two disused hangers in a remote part of the Base. The museum was expanded significantly from its humble beginnings in the period 1999 - 2004, additions include children playing areas, rides, and eateries.
Management
The museum is managed by a committee headed by the Air Officer Commanding Southern Air Command, however it is managed and run by the Deputy Chairman. Recently the Museum has been renamed as Historical Archives Section and given additional responsibilities for maintaining some documented history of the PAF. The Current Director / Deputy Chairman of the Museum is Gp Capt Usman Ghani.

A Karachi bank's vaults were raided for gold worth Rs790 million
The staff members of the Karachi private bank took gold from two branches in the eastern district for Rs790 million.
The teams of the bank said that during the audits on the nights of August 2 and August 4, lockers were found empty at their branches in Gulistan-e-Jauhar and Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
In Sharae Faisal and Aziz Bhatti police stations, two cases were lodged.
“And it found fake jewels in 150 sealed bags on Monday, when an audit team unlocked lockers to examine the gold,” General Manager Zulfiqar Abidi told the police.
Twenty-eight clients in the Bank have loans of Rs550 million for gold.
The nominations include the FIR’s Directorate-General, Farah Mansoor, Adeel Lateef, Managing Relations, Daniyal, Safar Kalhaar and Zulfiqar Junejo.

Shara-e-Faisal
Shara-e-Faisal (Urdu: شارع فیصل ‎) is one of the major boulevards in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. It is named after King Faisal (Shah Faisal) of Saudi Arabia. Shah Faisal Colony, a suburb close to Karachi Airport, was also named after Shah Faisal. The former name of Shara-e-Faisal was Drigh Road.
Most national and multinational companies' offices, schools, shopping plazas, banks and institutes are close to Shara-e-Faisal. Shara-e-Faisal (Arabic for "Faisal Road") is also known as Shahrah-e-Faisal (Persian for "Faisal Highway").

I. I. Chundrigar Road Karachi
 Ibrahim Ismail Chundrigar Road aka I. I. Chundrigar Road is the financial district of Karachi, Pakistan that is the center of Karachi's banking and financial institutions. It is the largest financial district in the country and often termed as the "Wall Street of Pakistan".[1] Situated in the heart of Karachi, Sindh, it was known as McLeod Road during the Colonial rule but was later renamed after the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Ibrahim Ismail Chundrigar. The road starts from the Merewether Memorial Tower near Former Lloyds bank building (Now Saudi-Pak bank) up to Shaheen complex. An estimated Fifteen percent of all Karachi cars pass from this road.
 Most of the headquarters of Pakistan's financial institutions are located on the I.I. Chundrigar Road, including the State Bank of Pakistan which is Pakistan's Central Bank, Major Banks like Habib Bank Plaza, MCB Tower, National Bank of Pakistan, Bank Al-Falah, Standard Chartered Bank, CitiBank, etc. The new headquarters of United Bank Limited is also under construction on this road.
Pakistan's most circulated newspapers including Jang Newspaper, Daily Times, TV Channels including Geo TV, CNBC Pakistan, Hum TV, AAG TV and Dhoom are also based on I.I. Chundrigar Road. Consulates of Tunisia, Sweden, Sierra Leone, Norway, Guinea, Gambia and Finland are also located here.
 Two of Karachi's largest computer markets Uni Plaza and Techno city; Police Headquarters and nearby Rangers Headquarters are also located on this road.
In 2007 Sharjah-based Enshaa Holdings in a joint venture with NLC has launched Karachi International Financial center on II Chundrigar road which will comprise a hotel, office towers, serviced apartments and a railway station. The Karachi Financial Towers will include two identical 37-storey towers connected by a three-floor glass skybridge.
 I. I. Chundrigar Road has always been the financial center of Karachi's economy. Most of the biggest businesses and financial institutions in the city have offices here including the Karachi Stock Exchange, Karachi Cotton Exchange, Mutual Funds, Money Exchangers, Auditing companies, Insurance companies and Shipping companies. Karachi's largest GPO and Telegraph office is also located here. British-era architecture on this street ranges from the Former Lloyds Bank building to the City Railway Station buildings and administrative offices. This road also preserves some of the finest private architecture from Karachi's early period. World famous "Mashhood Chouk" is also located at the junction of Shara-e-Faisal and Ibrahim Ismail Chundrigar Road. It is famous for a statue of a horse, associated with historical man named Mashhood.

Karachi: Due to the fifth spell of monsoon in Shahar-e-Qaid, Ram Jham is continuing in different areas. The weather has become pleasant with light drizzle.
According to details, Malir, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Rashid Minhas Road, Liaquatabad, Clifton, Defense, II Chandragar Road, Club Road, Saddar and Shara Faisal areas of Karachi are also being flooded.
The city is expected to remain overcast for the next 24 hours with light rain expected.
The maximum temperature in Karachi today can be recorded at 35 to 37 degrees Celsius. The current temperature in the city was recorded at 31 degrees Celsius while the humidity is 70 percent.
The wind is blowing from the northwest at a speed of 22 to 25 km per hour.
It may be recalled that the fifth spell of monsoon has entered the city since last day. The city is currently experiencing drizzle but the Meteorological Department has also indicated the possibility of heavy rains in a day or two.
