The designs for the EDC girls are pretty much the same but I wanted to make them a bit more different

What rank or how experience the girls are decides the color uniform they wear

Atari wears white because she just joined the EDC

Ringo and Kayu are gray because they have a ton of experience, they are Atari's seniors. Kayu just recently got promoted to this rank

And Shaoshao is the leader of the team, she's been here the longest, joining sometime after the disaster and she's the best at what she does, so she wears black

Oh! by the way Ringo rolls her skirt up to make it shorter, and Kayu has long sleeves which covers her hands I just feel like that would be something they would have

So far these are the simple designs I've drawn out for them, but I will be making actual full body drawings sometime

In a Universe where Bots and Cons posses super modes and other powerful enhancements, a lone, disliked and hated bot goes on a journey to find his place in the universe. On his journey he met many people but only one stood by his side during their Darkest Hour. His fellow powermaster partner Firedrive(Shaoshao Li), who unable to merge with any transtector gets sidelined and eventually fired from her ex-team, met him on her way to Tokyo before being ambushed by evil predacon headmasters. Together with the help of the transectorless powermaster Hot Rod merges to form Super Rodimus Convoy and defeats Predacon Menace and thus creating Vigilante Fire Duo.

Rodimus super form was inspired by many designs and concepts, such as: Fire Rodimus from Zone, Energon Rodimus, Brave Police J-Decker, Power of the Primes Rodimus Prime toy and many others.

Transformers, Hot Rod, J-Decker, Firedrive, Shaoshao Li belong to their rightful owners The Super mode head "Hot Flame Convoy Head for Upgrade Armor" was made and belongs to Steam Shield's Bot Foundry on Shapeways. This digibash i guess belongs to me

The Kiss Players (WIP)

WELCOME TO KISS PLAYERS REWRITE!

AKA the blog that is meant to be the rewrite for the infamous and rather-disturbing Transformers Kiss Players!

Now to explain the rewrite, it's basically that: a rewrite of Transformers Kiss Players except make it a lot more approachable for everyone. That, and well, it's now a magical girl show! Well, "show" is not really the right word as it's a blog and a fanfic, but I digress.

Now allow me to introduce the Kiss Players themselves!

Marissa Faireborn - A 19-year-old American girl who grew up near the beaches of South California and was a massive Optimus Prime fangirl when she was young, Marissa is the optimistic and cheerful leader of the Kiss Players, best friends with everyone but is the most friendly with Elita-1 and Optimus, equally. Marissa transforms into her Transformer form "Hibiscus", whose vehicle is that of a pink-and-black Camaro (or at least something similar.), and fuses with Elita-1 to become Malva-1 or "Borboletta". Hiya, everyone! This is Marissa Faireborn, coming to you, live on Kiss Players Rewrite!

Shaoshao Li - An 18-year-old Chinese girl who once grew up in the rural parts of China before her family moved to the city and has a connection to organic life, like plants and animals, Shaoshao is the stern yet gold-hearted Kiss Player, essentially the caretaker of the group (despite her being one-year-younger to Marissa), though she tends to have a short-length fuse, she genuinely cares for others and when someone is hurt, she won't hesitate to tend to their wounds, which is how she managed to meet and become friends with Dinobot (Beast Wars Dinobot, to be precise.) Shaoshao transforms into her Transformer form "Kickback", whose vehicle mode is a fiery-red-orange Honda Dream motorcycle (or at least something similar.), and fuses with Dinobot to become Dinokick or "Velocikick". Oi, everyone. This is Shaoshao Li, also coming to you, live on Kiss Players Rewrite. (Can I go home now? No? Okay).

Atari Hitotonari - A 16-year-old girl (Plot Twist: She's 17 due to the E.D.C.'s fuckery and Amao's dark intentions) who grew up in the suburbs of Japan before being taken in by the E.D.C. after her parents were killed in a building-collapse, Atari is the Kiss Player who starts off as a shy and dependent girl, afraid of everything and is often considered a crybaby to some, but later down the line, she ends up becoming independent enough to go against the E.D.C. and its wrongdoings (in the form of her abuse at the hands of Amao) and ends up becoming a powerful member of the Kiss Players, despite at the beginning of being a Kiss Player, her powers were unstable and she can't control them, but thanks to others close to her, she manages to control her powers and become a powerhouse. She cares much about others around her but cares the most about her hospitalized colleague Kayu Michikusa, and the mentally-troubled Decepticon Starscream, who saved her from getting eaten by a spider-scorpion monstrosity in a cave system after her Autotrooper, Ne-04 was torn apart by the thing, and has been attached to Starscream ever since (Even going as far as to try and figure out what led to him being the monster he was in Earthspark S2-S3). Atari transforms into her Transformer form "Techcross", whose vehicle mode is a jet (any model is up to you, it's a rather small jet), and fuses with Starscream to become Techscream or "Starcross". O-Ohayo, gozaimasu. I'm Atari Hitotonari... Coming to you... (Gosh, why can't I say the whole thing?)

PLOT SUMMARY OF THE REWRITE:

Set in a merged continuity outside of the Cyberstars continuity, Cyber-Spirit Hanenohara was researching how to make humans into powerful Cybertronian warriors (Magical-Girl style) after succeeding with the Cybertronian Androids, or the Cyberstars, and their ability to transform Magical-Girl style, and landing on the Kiss Players, dragging the girls (and others from the Kiss Players) into the Earthspark continuity, wiping their memories and changing them drastically while still keeping their original formula, and shaping everything into how she properly wants it to be.

Afterward, the E.D.C. was formed by Hitoshizuku Amao after her daughter died in an unknown accident, on the surface is an organization that works for the Japanese government and specializes in pilot-powered Transformer-Mechas called "Autotroopers", but really the organization was only a facade to hide Amao's darkest secret, to find a way to resurrect her daughter by finding the DNA of a Transformer from all over the globe and using rather unethical experimentation to recreate her, which leads to Amao having an alliance and partnership with the Unicronian-descent Cybertronian-Quintesson cross-breeds, The Legion, and their leader Elysia. In doing so, The Legion would contaminate certain spots where Cybertronian life might be active with tiny microscopic eggs that, when ingested, will grow and parasitize on the Cybertronian's spark, draining the Cybertronian of their hope and morality, before becoming nihilistic murder machines that the parasites will control in. All of this, to resurrect Amao's daughter.

The members of the E.D.C. are sent on death missions to retrieve the DNA of Transformer Amao, whom the Legion needs to resurrect her daughter.

One of these members is Atari, who was initially thought to be the rookie of the E.D.C. members but was with the E.D.C. for quite some time, despite their rather illegal policy of letting members retire once they reached a certain age, which is 17, 18, and 19, meaning that those members sent to these death missions were children, as young as 13 and as old as 16. She and her Autotrooper were sent on one of these death missions in a cavern system, leading to the Autotrooper getting torn apart by a large spider-scorpion monster and Atari being saved by (conveniently-placed) Starscream, who she became friends with before departing back to the E.D.C.

Then, some girls were formally part of the E.D.C. but were either kicked out because of the E.D.C.'s policy or something else. Two of them are Marissa Faireborn and Shaoshao Li.

Marissa Faireborn was the daughter of Flint and Jaye (Idk, I don't watch G.I. Joe, so I'm not familiar, but I know Cobra, loosely.) who grew up in Southern California near the beaches, having a lax and almost stereotypical-girly personality. Meanwhile, Shaoshao Li was the daughter of a family rich with generational history, rumored to have been related to an emperor of China who is hypothesized to have a connection with creatures beyond Earth, not in a spiritual way, more like a conspiracy-alien kind of way.

Now I would explain more but for now, this is all I got. I, Hanenohara in this case, have other things to talk about.

Noble Vector Prime: Is there a universe where Firebolt and Shaoshao Li worked together with Hot Rod?

One universe comes to mind, though they were not the only ones to join forces with him that day!

In that fragile reality, Galvatron II had succeeded in his plans to absorb the power of Unicron. He merged with the planet of Cybertron itself to create a War World filled with insatiable hunger, and travelled the galaxy to conquer and devour—so feared was this being, that it became known as Devil Galvatron, and the Decepticons and Autobots united under the leadership of Rodimus Prime to oppose it. Through that alliance, Rodimus was reunited with friends he'd thought lost—including the humans Shaoshao Li and Daniel Witwicky, the Cybertronian Jolt, and the Nebulans Firebolt and Offshoot.

Rodimus Prime's companions realised that their existence had long been altered by the Cybertronian wars, and that by pooling their resources they had the power to aid Rodimus. With Shaoshao Li as his Godmaster, Daniel Witwicky as his Headmaster, Jolt as his Powerlinxed Minicon, Firebolt as his Targetmaster, and Offshoot as his Powermaster; Rodimus Prime was empowered, transforming into the true Super Lifeform Transformer: God Rodimus.

With the aid of so many beings, God Rodimus led the battle against Devil Galvatron, destroying his armada of Micro-Unicrons, and plunging himself deep within the Warworld's form.

There he confronted the heavily mutated Spark of Darkness, and bonded with it as well. Releasing his allies to escape, Rodimus fused with Galvatron, using his own light to banish the darkness that enshrouded his nemesis, burning it away until finally all that was left of both was little more than living energon.

The two became one, cleansing the last remnants of Unicron from the galaxy and fusing into a new living core for Cybertron—now a beacon of hope, led by those who had stood with Rodimus in his last moments.

these ideas are amazing, like I didn't even think about the kiss players and cons working together but that would be so cool to do!!!!

Also the magical girl transformers into transformers are amazing, I kind of imagine it like how Rex can manipulate his nanites to make his builds, they could manipulate Galvatron's cells to do this, now that I write this i keep imagining a magical girl transformation of Marissa into a transformer (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶) .ᐟ.ᐟ

I'm gonna ramble a bit about what I've already made for my rewrite here a bit

So for the girls I've decided to keep them the same age but make them the romantic relationship, it's already shown that Shaoshao has a crush on Marissa on top of that a lot of the lore I've made for Shaoshao already is based off their relationship

For the bots I've decided to have Optimus's and Marissa's relationship be like a father and daughter, while for Hot Rod and Shaoshao they would have a sibling relationship, they would bicker like one

I'll add on more in another post expanding on some of these things, but for the Cons working with the kiss players I keep imagining soundwave as one of them Mostly because of the like season 2 of kiss players a bunch of cassettes get introduced, none are soundwaves, but I think it would be cool to see him and react to what happened to Galvatron

During writing this I did come up with a way that they could still fuse while the kiss players become a transformer, you know the Jettwins for Tfa? How they could combine into one mech? Or even how Optimus and Jetfire could combine in Armada? I'm thinking something like that

I've written a lot already and I keep getting new ideas for this, but I'll leave it here for now!

I really want to do a Kiss Players rewrite

Now I know how that sounds, anyone who knows about kiss players knows how it is, how it sexualizes a bunch of minors at any given moment, but if you took that away it does have an interesting story

If you don't know, Rodimus throws Galvatron into space and he accidentally crashes onto earth, specifically Japan, causing major damage to the area and the relationship of humans and transformers. They kick all transformers off earth and put up a barrier to keep them out. Due to Galvatron's impact, his cells have contaminated a bunch of stuff creating kiss players and these monsters which resemble him (forgot the name) Kiss Players can fuse with a transformer by kissing them and they fight the monsters.

There's more to it, and I probably got some stuff wrong, but I don't feel like reading the wiki at the moment

Like it reminds me of generator rex, with the nanite explosion causing nanites to contaminate all living things and mutate them similar to Galvatron's cells, and the ability to fuse with transformers just sounds so cool!

But of course it's done in a terrible way, I've already written some stuff about the rewrite, well less than a rewrite and more me putting disconnect and connect ideas out, I don't know how to write a fic I won't cringe at.

Like I would take away needing to kiss to fuse, them being naked when fused, and the weird relationships the bots have with minors, also taking away the collar Shaoshao has, like why does she have that?

I'll probably talk about it more later, I just think that the girls deserve better than what they got

TFWIKI Pics Jan 2023: Grab Bag!

January's Patreon-backed @tfwiki toy picture theme is... three themes. There were a bunch of holes I kinda wanted to fill but none of them were really big enough for their own full update, so like, hey. Mix 'em up.

First we have the second round of Beast Wars "Fox Kids!" redecoes, released in 2000 alongside the new Beast Machines toys. The BW show's recent move to the Fox Kids cartoon block really boosted demand for more Transformers product, and Hasbro could only stuff so much into Machines, so Wars got extended another year with these and the Mutants. 1) Transmetal Airazor 2) Transmetal Rattrap 3) Transmetal Rhinox 4) Transmetal Waspinator

Next is a very loose theme of real car models in red. Yeah. Look, I wanted to get new pics of two of these anyway (the first and last) and found two more toys that needed new pics that matched the vague pattern.

Binaltech Meister Velocity Red Mica Edition" is perhaps better known as "Zoom-Zoom", a spare body for Binaltech Jazz equipped with an AI that Jazz is teaching to dance. I love Zoom-Zoom and he should become the new default Jazz-mold redeco.

Kiss Players Hot Rodimus is a redeco of Alternators Mirage, with some added accessories. Not just the figurine of human partner Shaoshao Li, but a 4-part fishing rod that reassembles into an arm-mounted gun like the original Hot Rod's arm-pipe-guns. But it's not very good, it doesn't clip on, just kinda grips.

Alternators Rumble is part of the final wave of Alternators toys, relegated to Walmart exclusivity. He's weird. He's simpler than most Alternators, he doesn't have normal arms, and the spring-loaded piledrivers are all wobbly once deployed. Also, no Takara release.

And then there's Universe Swerve, whose release story is a DOOZY but the short of it is, Chevy commissioned Hasbro/Takara to make an original Chevy Aveo TF mold to use as giveaways at malls and whatnot in 2007, part of the whole movie marketing thing Chevy/Paramount had going on. Which means this mold can NEVER be restored and used again. It's a truly unique piece that I'm super-happy to have.

And we're wrapping up with some pieces from Takara's 2010 Animated line. Said line is most famous for dousing the main cast in super-shiny metallic paint, but most of the toys only got a bit of it. Oil Slick only got bright green paint on his gauntlets and legs, while Blazing Lockdown just got metallic pale-gold flames instead of the Hasbro version's more cartoony yellow-gold.

Optimus Prime Clear Red Ver. is a Toys"R"Us exclusive redeco of the Legends-class Optimus. It's one of Takara's many many many many store promotional items, where you got it free with qualifying purchases on specific dates in specific stores. In this case, 3000 yen's worth of Animated product at TRU, presumably on the first weekend of the toyline's release (haven't found the exact date yet).

Prowl Elite Guard Ver. was exclusive to the 2010 Tokyo Toy Show, which ran from July 15th through the 18th. It's currently unknown what the production run on this one was.

Hitotonari Atari is now Kiss Shield Atari, Assigned Gemstone is Lapis Lazuli, Essence is Tech/Cosmos;

Atari is fascinated about mechanics, and loves to study about MagiTek, and designing the mechanical parts to achieve both practicality and charm;

Being a tad bit of a nerd, her mecha designs are heavily inspired on Megaman and Medabots;

She's not fond of fighting though, so she specializes with defense strategies, becoming the shield of the team;

Strongly respects Li and Marissa, looking up to both of them as her upperclassmen, wanting to be as talented as they are;

Is currently trying to find a balance between responsibilities and pleasure, as she is still rather childish;

Atari focus on Magi studies in hopes of developing her own bravery and becoming more independent and mature;

Next is Shaoshao:

Shaoshao Li is now Kiss Spear Li, Assigned Gemstone is Realgar, Essence is Tech/Cosmos;

Her speciality is offense, dealing with strong attack tactics;

She and Marissa are girlfriends, and more experienced than Atari. They both help the newbie on how to navigate magic and technology;

Enjoys practicing sports and keeping her body moving, as it helps her keep her mind clear and at ease;

Li is short-tempered and may come out as unintentionally rude sometimes;

In reality, she's a VERY passionate girl, feeling things intensely. Li strongly dislikes half-assed stuff;

As part of her Magi training Li must learn how to be patient and stop carrying the team's whole weight on her own.

And last but not least, here's Marissa (she's the ONLY character in the KissPure cast to have appeared in several other continuities prior!):

Marissa Faireborn is now Kiss Sword Marissa, Assigned Gemstone is Aquamarine, Essence is Tech/Cosmos;

Marissa is balanced in both offense and defense when in action, thus completing the trio;

Unlike her partner Li, Marissa is more patient careful with Atari, as she's still a novice;

She also has a very strong passion for astronomy, and the possibility of other beings in outer space;

Marissa has the average skills to be a Magi, being brave and selfless, holding onto the traditional philosophy of heroism;

However, this is a coping method for her to process her father's death, as she wants to be as courageous as him;

As a Magi, Marissa trusts both Atari and Li to help her overcome her sadness and do her best as their leader.

Hello! I was wondering if you could do a WBMR of some characters from transformers, specifically Kiss Players. I personally think a shoujo story about girls having special bonds with mechas and powering them up with the power of love (not just romantic love but yknow. love in general) could have been AMAZING, but alas it was a fanservice riddled creepy wreck... i personally would love to see your take on it and it's characters! (unless you arent taking suggestions in which case pls ignore)

Y'know, I'd be a much happier woman if you didn't told me about this incarnation, because I just did a quick googling of it, and now I'm severely regretting my decision.
