There's a vote happening today to block Israel from receiving more weapons.
Find your senator here. Call and email them, use the call scripts below if you need them:
In addition to your Senator, you should also call these Senators as they are very important as well:
Durbin (202) 224-2152 Lujan (202) 224-6621 Paul (202) 224-4343 Murphy (202) 224-4041 Markey (202) 224-2742 King (202) 224-5344 Ossoff (202) 224-3521 Shaheen (202) 224-2841 Warnock (202) 224-3643
Here's a call/email script if you need one:
"Hello [Senator’s Name], my name is [Your Name] and I am calling you to tell you to join Senator Bernie Sanders and the other Senators voting to stop the sale of arms to Israel.
Israel has committed mass atrocities against Palestinians in Gaza over the last year. This includes countless massacres, forced displacement, field executions, torture camps, total infrastructure destruction, forced starvation, and burning alive Palestinians like 19-year-old Sha'ban al-Dalou. This is a genocide, fueled by tens of thousands of U.S. bombs and at least $18 billion of our tax dollars sent to the Israeli military in violation of U.S. and international law.
The only way to stop the killing, from Palestine to Lebanon and beyond, is to cut off the endless and unconditional supply of U.S. weapons and military funding fueling Israel’s atrocities.
That starts with blocking the $20 billion weapons package to Israel. As a voter, your constituent, and a Citizen of United States.
I urge you to support halting all weapons and military funding to Israel now. Urgent action is needed to protect Palestinian, Lebanese, and other communities in the region, including U.S. citizens, whose lives are at stake.
Here's also an action link to sign as well:

Apparently, I share a birthday - October 16 - with both George Floyd and Sha'ban al-Dalou, though obviously, I am alive by luck of circumstances while both of them are unjustly dead and were horrifically murdered due to the evils of the US and the West, and that is nether fair nor just.

Israel's Gaza war leaves Palestinians with trauma, questions about media 'complicity in genocide'
Palestinians living in US continue to witness new levels of horror in Gaza and are channelling grief into mobilisation
The scenes out of the makeshift tent hospital in Deir al-Balah were met with absolute horror from Americans on social media. It was one of several captured moments in the Israeli war on Gaza that instantly went viral, capturing millions of views in the span of a few hours. For Palestinians living in the US, the footage of 19-year-old Sha'ban al-Dalou being burnt alive while lying down on his hospital bed and attached to an IV unlocked a new level of pain that many didn't know existed, after witnessing Israeli forces continuously bomb Gaza since October 2023. "The images from Deir al-Balah are seared into my memory and the memory of every person of conscience around the world who saw those images," Munir, a member of the Palestinian Youth Movement (PYM) who chose only to use his first name, told Middle East Eye. "It's truly every time we think we've hit the rock bottom of the depravity of this Israeli genocide, it gets even worse."
[...]
Despite the ever-worsening situation in Gaza, many Palestinian Americans are holding onto hope. The hope is not directed towards a belief that the US will make a policy change, such as demanding Israel end its war or cutting off military aid to the country, but that the Palestinian people living in Gaza and the West Bank will continue to resist Israel's war, its occupation, and its subjugation of their lives. Meanwhile, in the US, Palestinian Americans will continue to organise and mobilise in the diaspora to bring attention to their collective plight. "These scenes exact a brutal emotional and psychological toll on us as individual Palestinians, Lebanese, Yemenis, Syrians, Iraqis, Arabs, Iranians, etc, and on us as a collective community," Hatem Abudayyeh, chair of the US Palestinian Community Network (USPCN), told MEE.
[...]
"And we will make certain that every single conversation about the November elections in the US includes the candidates' positions on Palestine and the genocide. We won't allow our battle to be ignored, and we will never stop on the path to a free Palestine, from the river to the sea," he said.
