Gamera 3: Revenge of Isis (1999)
My rating: 6/10
It's objectively pretty good, and even the CGI mostly holds up surprisingly well, but it's just a bit (or a lot) too bleak for me right now - it's all just destruction and misery, and then it ends on a cliffhanger that, as far as I can tell, never got resolved. Not bad, but not for me.

Chris: Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris is the best of the three new Gamera films and seems more modern and interesting than the previous two films, Watch: When Free.
Richie: It is my favorite of the Gamera movies, Watch: Buy.

Gamera 2: Attack of the Legion (1996)
My rating: 6/10
Fairly average kaiju movie, very much in the mold of the Godzilla movies of the time - complete with weird psychic connections, magical pixie dust and tacked on environmental message. It's not bad, mind - the kaiju battles are good, though I wish less of them were set at night - but also not really very remarkable.
