Danny Phantom x Dragon Age
Alright here's a prompt I haven't seen a cross over for yet (But I don't think I'll have the concentration level to write it myself)
Corepheus is King Pariah
King Pariah had ruled the infinite realms ruthlessly, as a tyrant he had everything he could want, slaves and concubines from every walk of life, insane money in pouring from every side, praise and worship.
But his people were neglected while he indulged, so he was locked into the Sarcophagus of Forever Sleep.
But when you sleep, you can still dream.
In his dreams, his mind was able to wander through the Part of the Realms that shifted to the Fade, close to a medieval world he had known, and he snuck his mind into a leader from Tevinter, to start his ruling once again. So came the Magister Corypheus, enslaving elves, using dark blood magic to corrupt spirits that in part used to be his subjects under his will once more, corrupting them to still answer his call.
He is who wakes to the Hero Of Ferelden
He is who returns to power when the Dread Wolves spell goes sideways.
He is winning the war, and then he is woken by Vlad Plasmius, then defeated by Phantom, who is then summoned as the new king of the Infinite Realms to their world in the work of the Votori.
Phantom just defeated the tyrant king Pariah Dark, and then, painfully, his body and soul are summoned through a blood magic circle into another realm. As the ring takes to his hand and the crown to his head, there is a nation falling apart at the seams, reeking of death and twisted corrupted ectoplasm. A cult that calls him their new god, Corypheus’s new form after his rebirth perhaps, and there is a frightened army putting up wards of magic against the man that may destroy their world… how does he explain to them he's a high schooler just trying to protect one town and now has no idea how to get home?
A bald elf looks extremely disturbed by the turn of events until with his new deep reserves of ectoplasm, he sets to save the corrupted spirits that have turned to demons, and to help them back to the Infinite Realms to heal and rest, while creating an understanding with this new world about the neglected spirits, and to now have to fix the damage left behind that the observers turned a blind eye to.
Best of all, he has to figure out a way back through the fade to the right part of the Infinite Realms and find his way home.
Alternatively; Danny worked with Fen'harel to banish the old gods, or the Observes were demanding the destruction of their timeline for the perversion of spirits being corrupted with blood magic into demons.
Perhaps in time King Danny is trying to help him retrieve those that were caught in the crossfire?
The magic goes wrong to unlock Fen'harel's power, and he tries to help the Inquisitor in beating Corypheus to bring peace back to the land and to the part of the Infinite Realms known as the Fade.
Bonus points if he's a bonus dad to Cole, or as forms shift for what you want to see in someone, his protection spirit base gets mistaken for the Most Holy Divine Justinia.

A hypothetical god tier for Corypheus from Dragon Age: the Lord of Rage.
A Lord of Rage is among those who are masters of faith in possibility. They are motivated by themselves to be a master of defiance. (x) The Lord of Rage’s will takes precedence over everything else and they hate complacency. (x) They are the Outlier Revolutionary, defined by domination and defiance. (x) Their opposite and inverse is the Muse of Hope. They share their personality with no one, as a master classpect. The Lord of Rage would quest on a planet similar to the Land of ??? and Rage, reigned over by Ares (God of War). They would rise to ascension on the wings of imps. (x)(x)(x)

I mean, the Temple is already built on ruins of a temple to Evanuris (possibly Mythal herself). And there's good reason to suspect it was build over a Titan. Plus, you know, there are mines all over the place, even if some are abandoned. And those caves where dragons nested.
So what I'm saying, they might have gotten there through the Deep Roads. Either there was an entrance through the old temple that nobody knew about or Corypheus just used magic to make one.
wait im crying how did corypheus get into the temple of sacred ashes without anyone noticing 😭😭

Did Vows and Vengeance just tell us that the ritual to break into the fade was in the Silent Plains and not in Kirkwall like we (mostly) all thought?!
AND we've got another name for one of the Magisters Sidereal? "Magister Andante".
So we have Sethius of House Amladaris, who is Corypheus (The Conductor), the Architect (human name unknown) and now Magister Andante (evil title unknown)
I wonder which archdemon Andante corresponds to! (especially if it's one of the alive ones!)

So, if she's got a sweet relationship with Manfred, I suppose I have to bring in Neve.😅
Give me her deets!
Ohhh, I'd be delighted! So Neve (and Emmrich) were actually both introduced in a book first, not a game. It's called "Tevinter Nights." Lucanis was also introduced, as were Teia, Viago, Antoine, Evka, Strife, Manfred ... lots of people in Veilguard got their start in a little book from 2020, haha.
When the first Veilguard trailer dropped, I went, "...WAIT A SEC, I KNOW THOSE NAMES" and DUG this book out from my shelf, haha. Emmrich's last name was 'Volkahrin' in the book, to give you an idea.
So, Neve. Neve Gallus is a private detective in Dock Town, which is basically a 'slum' in Minrathous (Tevinter's capital). She's like a people's detective - when the authorities won't help (or you can't pay them to) she'll take on your case. Minrathous is also a mage-centric society. If you're not a mage, or a wealthy one? People don't care. For those people in need, Neve is like Sherlock meets Batman. She's also a member of the Shadow Dragons, who hunt Venatori agents to stop their abuse and attempts to resurrect their false gods/prophets to make Tevinter the ultimate paradise and destroy/enslave everyone else. (One of those gods was Corypheus, who was once a human Tevinter Magister by the name of Sethius Amladaris. He is defeated in Inquisition, and Elgar'nan takes his place in Veilguard and begins to recruit Venatori cultists for his cause.)
We learn from "Tevinter Nights" that Neve is a detective tracking down members of the Venatori (particularly a Venatori agent named Aelia) with Rana, Jahvis, and Brom. All three are Templars she tipped off and recruited to help. A mission goes wrong, and Brom dies.
In Veilguard, she is in your party from the start. Rook, Varric and Harding get Neve's help because she knows inside info about Solas from her investigations in the city.
Later in the game, Rook can choose to 'harden' Neve by saving Treviso over Minrathous, and even encourage her to become a member of the Threads (an underground crime syndicate) OR to work with Rana as a team to continue solving cases in Dock Town. Emmrich approves of staying with Rana, and disapproves of her allying herself with the Threads.
So, why does Manfred like her so much?
Neve's office is FILLED with wisps. Wisps are curious entities, and she's a detective. She asks questions. She notes details. They're drawn to her energy. Manfred, a spirit of Curiosity, also senses it. He frequently goes to her room to look for and play with wisps. He also does tasks for her like helping mend her clothes. She also nicknames him 'Fred.' Manfed has never liked nicknames (Nadia, in a the V&V podcast, gets hissed at for the nickname, and Emmrich says he doesn't take well to them). But Auntie Neve is special, haha.
If you romance Emmrich, Manfred even brings Neve the dinner menu from the romantic dinner he takes you on, haha.
youtube
At first, she's wary of Emmrich and Manfred. She warms up to Manfred and Emmrich both, even recruiting Emm to help her solve a murder case. BUT if Emmrich becomes a lich, she openly disapproves, and routinely comments on missing Manfred.
Other fun facts: She also LOVES fried fish. It's all she eats. And she makes TERRIBLE coffee. Neve can also date Lucanis if you encourage them. Some don't like them together, but think they're a cute couple! If you ask Neve to do the wards at the end of the game, Lucanis is SO PISSED and worried for her. And Spite misses her too.
And you can get approval points with her by petting cats.
I adore her, haha.

This is a picture I took while replaying DAI and I was cold. It's not the whole note, it's just ub fragment.
Does this mean that Corypheus had a wife? And I know it's not mandatory, but knowing the tevinter culture he probably had children too.
I admit that Cory always caught my attention but I had never investigated him in that way. I'd like to know more about Sethius Amladaris, what became of his life and what exactly he saw in the black city.
TRAD:
THE CLAWS OF DUMAT:
Before, the master laughed and joked, he could be a strict person, but he was not cruel. THE WEAKENING OF THE TEMPLES HAS BROUGHT FEAR INTO HIS HEART, AND THAT FEAR IS WHAT HAS CHANGED HIM. THE CUTS ON HIS ARMS ARE LONGER AND DEEPER, FROM USING MAGIC WITH HIS OWN BLOOD MORE OFTEN, HE TALKS LESS TO HIS WIFE. HE ONLY HEARS VOICES IN DREAMS.

Okay so the approximate timeline goes something like this:
-1595 Ancient
Thalsian, the First Dreamer, runs out of options & reaches Dumat in the Fade to help the Neromenians win the war. He's taught blood magic and becomes the first* blood mage.
-1207 Ancient
Darinius, Dreamer, gets a vision from Dumat that ultimately convinces him to avenge his mother and unite Tevinter. He names Thalsian an honorary Archon sometime after.
-395 Ancient
Sethius Amladaris (Corypheus), Dreamer, falls into depression due to the recession of Old God worship and the loss of his followers. Starts getting visions from Dumat to gather six others and storm the Golden City. They fuck up real bad and set off the First Blight. All Dreamers stop hearing the Old Gods.
-203 Ancient
The First Blight ends when Archdemon Dumat is slain. Dreamers begin disappearing completely. The talent doesn't resurface until centuries later, 9:31 Dragon, in Kirkwall with Feynriel.
9:52 Dragon (Present Day)
Solas, Dreamer, matching the agency and pattern of past Dumat pawns a little more than I'm comfortable with, attempts to drop the Veil.
Coincidence? I think not! 👏🏿
Glad I picked up the lore books because Dreamers can see the future and its nowhere on the wiki lol (p.37 of vol. II)
That puts Solas's meltdown and the actions of past powerful somniari into perspective a lot more
The whole excerpt feels like DA:V foreshadowing. Here's parts of it:
Immense magical power seems to go hand in hand with ego and the idea of exploiting one's fate, or somehow avoiding it, reliably comes up sooner or later.
Even when the future can be known, it's those who are born with the gift, like Darinius himself, who are most likely to bleed for it.
This, I think, is the best possible argument to not meddle with the future: whenever someone tries, the Maker sees to it that the outcome is as ironic as possible.

Shame that BioWare forgot about the Blighted Werewolves. They’d have made great editions to Corypheus’s army and act as use for the Grey Wardens if you recruited them.

If Corypheus is the Conductor of Silence...
...Would that mean the Architect of Beauty is named Deidalus?
Like in Ancient Greek, a coryphaeus (or koryphaios) is the conductor of a choir (like the Choir of Silence), and when I looked it up, Daedalus seems to be the name most closest to be a translation for the Architect.
Yes. Daedalus. Like the creator of the Labyrinth of the Minotaur, the father of Icarus (of the wax-winged melted in the sun fame) and uncle of Perdix who he had killed for nearly being as talented as he. But most importantly, the name comes from a root that has a vague meaning “wright” or “ornament” or “form/shape/appearance” or something like it, which seems to fit.
So when I Dragon Aged Daedalus’ name I came up with Deidalus.
Also, my Warden totally has a title like “the Slayer of Beauty” ‘cause she killed both the Dragon of Beauty and the Architect.
#dragon age#the architect#corypheus#urthemiel#magisters sidereal#darkspawn#deidalus#so if we have his magister name#what was deidalus' name as a human?#the equivalent of#sethius amladaris#probably something derived from ptah#to match the seth in sethius#ptahion?#or perhaps from nefertem?#something like neferius?#is that a bit too on the nose?#The nefarious neferius!#sounds like a magic act by an evil warlock#random ramble

"Much appreciated, Inquisitor. I'll put the equipment and material down there to good use. Perhaps forge you something sharp as well. Know magic and staffs are more your field of expertise, but never hurts to have backup options for weapons. Can't always count on magic, in my experience. If you'd like, I could teach you a few things as well at some point, at smithing and handling a blade. Some alchemy, if you require. Pick up a bit of everything, being what I am."
Eskel's low tone suggested with a faint smirk of his marred visage as he idly drank from his tankard. He looked over towards the nearby music... Maryden, the Inquisition's minstrel, was singing a tune called "Once We Were" and plucking her instrument... one of many songs he had heard out on the Path from numerous minstrels and bards. She was watching the two of them sitting at the table as she performed... perhaps the wheels in her mind turning towards writing her next song. No doubt of the dangerous outsider Witcher and the valiant and beautiful Inquisitor. Wouldn't be the first ballad composed about his kind. Hopefully it was a bit more flattering than most of those ended up being. The thought made his smirk deepen slightly... before Ellana's voice across the table returned his attention to her. Voicing her concerns, and returning the discussion back towards the most pressing matter, that of Corypheus. Perhaps to take her mind off recent unfortunate events. Understandable. The least he could do was show to her he hadn't been putting his time between missions to waste, and that she and the Inquisition were getting the most for their gold, where his services were concerned. Setting down his ale, he spoke up to her again with a nod.
"From what I've gathered in my research and investigations, along with Dorian's findings, Corypheus was once Sethius Amladaris, a Tevinter Imperium High Priest of Dumat and powerful Magister even before entering the Golden City with his fellow Magisters and being Blighted. His house still exists in Tevinter, perhaps one of the sources of the Venatori joining him. Dangerous on his own and influential, capable of rallying many followers with his power, knowledge and charisma... gathering all evil in Thedas to him... but probably not nearly the best of commanders, never having been a military figure. He's certainly no Loghain Mac Tir or Gaspard de Chalons. To say nothing of how all these years as a Darkspawn have likely ravaged his mind. Where Darkspawn are concerned, he seems less stable and calculating than the mysterious Architect lurking down in the Deep Roads, but more so than the Mother was. Of course he'll likely have other, more competent subordinate leaders handling military matters."
The Witcher's deep, languid voice lay it out for her gradually, thinking back to the books and notes he had pored over, and discussions with Dorian. Around that time, the server came with their food and more drinks, setting it all out on the table for them. He thanked the server with a grateful nod, ignoring the way she stared at his serpent eyes, digging into the meal and drinks, savoring them. Inns on the Path tended to be hit and miss, in his experience, but the same could not be said of the food here. It was consistently delicious... no doubt because all the best cooks wanted to lend their talents to the Inquisition. The merchants from abroad bringing their best ingredients as well. And Ellana's eye for finding talented recruits to fill all the positions. It would be a pity to have to move on again from the establishment when the time came to return to the Path, whatever the outcome of the Inquisition. His role in it. Capable as the Inquisition was, it was not a permanent guarantee for him, not in the way the Witcher's Path was. At last, he went on once more relaxedly, considering the matter they were discussing further, rubbing his itching cheek scars absently.
"Regardless, on the matter of Corypheus, you have been fortunate of late. If I were him or his lieutenants, I would have reconnoitered and besieged this keep and its surrounding lands by now. Cut off the roads here from resupplying the keep. Despite how capable it is, formidable, it's too open and known a location now. The heart of this order. Could be just a matter of time before they figure that out and march up here in force, like Haven. In the meantime, you had best exploit their short sightedness by shoring up the defenses of the keep and roads, just in case, between his armies and dragon. I speak from experience where sieges are concerned, with what befell my own home of Kaer Morhen long ago. As well as the Siege of Vigil's Keep by the Darkspawn. I was there, doing business with the Grey Wardens when I was caught up in it. Wouldn't recommend it."
@starwrittenfates
"True enough. Got enough enemies as it stands. Don't need her added to that long list, seeking me out. Got nothing to prove with any pissing contests around here either. Prefer to let my work out in the field against Corypheus' abominations and cult speak for itself."
Eskel's low, amused tone returned to her swiftly with a chuckle of his own, following her at her prompting, making their way out of the war room gradually and down the subsequent corridor. Passing through her office soon after, Ambassador Montilyet looked up from her desk and the messenger she was consulting with, doing a double take, an expression of surprise crossing her pretty Antivan features at the sight of him accompanying the Inquisitor. A look he received more of when they made it out into the main hall... along with whispers his enhanced senses picked up. Not hostile, at least, a welcome change from what was usually said about him, but certainly bewildered and curious. Nothing he wasn't used to, at any rate. He supposed it was compounded by how rarely he went out around the keep during the day... he was an oddity. He looked back at her throne and over the guards and other folk around the hall, marred features smiling politely, trading a respectful nod with the dwarven rogue storyteller Varric as they passed his spot near a fireplace, then focusing on making his way with Ellana outside, the cool mountain air greeting them. He breathed it in... and almost felt like he was home, again. Maybe he was, and just didn't know it yet. It was the longest he had settled into a place outside of Kaer Morhen, at least. Moving down the stone steps, crossing over the yard towards the awaiting inn, he became aware of the further eyes turning their way.
The Witcher wasn't sure if they were more staring at her, the beloved Herald of their Andraste, symbol of their order and Thedas' best hope, or him, the mysterious mutated stranger and suspicious outsider of the Inquisition. It was an amusing thought, regardless. He would always be the stranger, on some level. It was the nature of his profession and existence, the Path and his destiny. Though he did offer Scout Harding the polite nod she deserved. The moment they approached the Herald's Rest, his enchanted medallion began to hum... detecting the presence of the spirit calling itself Cole that lived in the establishment, taking the form of a pale, unusual yet skilled young man, who traded a wave with Ellana. It was strange to be fighting alongside one... especially considering he was usually slaying similar beings for coin. Entering the tavern, the music and chatter greeted them, a few conversations breaking off at the sight of them again... he ignored it, settling down at the table she indicated with her, ordering a drink as well before focusing his viper eyes and senses back upon her. He was hardly surprised to hear of her favorite area in Skyhold... had heard some whispers about her and the mysterious elven mage called Solas who resided there. Personally, his instincts told him to trust the elf no more than he trusted the haughty Orlesian Sorceress Vivienne. Nodding at the Inquisitor's words, his deep, languid voice returning to her with a smile of his marred visage.
"It could grow on me, I'm sure, especially given the present company. Might prefer the lower courtyard, but I'd also like to take a crack at that forge of yours in the undercroft at some point. Not as good as some of the experts you picked up for blacksmithing, but not half bad either. Everyone at my school learned to work a forge... learned many useful skills for the Path and on it."
