Dream Evil kündigen für Juli das neue Album an

Die schwedische Heavy Metal-Band Dream Evil ist endlich zurück! Sieben Jahre nach ihrem letzten Album „SIX“ haben die Göteborger Autoren von „The Book of Heavy Metal“ ihr neuestes, siebtes Studioalbum mit dem programmatischen Titel „Metal Gods“ angekündigt, das am 26. Juli 2024 über ihr langjähriges Label Century Media Records weltweit veröffentlicht werden soll. Dream Evil haben sich mit dem folgenden Kommentar zu ihrem neuen Studioalbum „Metal Gods“ gemeldet: „Dream Evil sind endlich zurück! Es ist sieben Jahre her, dass wir unser letztes Album 'SIX' veröffentlicht haben, also sind wir begeistert, jetzt mit aller Macht zurückzukehren! Das Warten sollte für niemanden umsonst gewesen sein, denn wir sind mit dem Ergebnis aller Tracks auf 'Metal Gods' äußerst zufrieden. Es ist ein lautes und klares Statement für Dream Evil und eine respektvolle Verbeugung vor unseren Einflüssen sowie vor der traditionellen melodischen Heavy Metal-Bewegung im Allgemeinen. Wir hoffen, dass ihr es genauso genießen werdet wie wir!?“ Und dann fügten Dream Evil das Folgende über den „Metal Gods“-Titeltrack und sein Video hinzu: „Es geht um unsere Heavy Metal-Helden in der Vergangenheit und Gegenwart, ein Tribut an die Metal Gods, die das Genre Heavy Metal geschaffen und perfektioniert haben. Es ist immer wieder ein Vergnügen, mit Patric Ullaeus zu arbeiten und die Magie zu beobachten, die er erschafft... Play LOUD and enjoy“! Wieder einmal wurde „Metal Gods“ von Dream Evil-Gitarrist Fredrik Nordström in seinem legendären Studio Fredman (In Flames, At The Gates, HammerFall, Arch Enemy, Bring Me The Horizon, etc.) aufgenommen und abgemischt. Das Cover-Artwork stammt von Seth Siro Anton (Paradise Lost, Exodus, Rotting Christ, etc. ) und enthält 10 neue Songs aus purem Stahl, die mit Schlagzeuger Sören Fardvik das neueste Line-Up vorstellen und Gastauftritte von Jonathan Thorpenberg (The Unguided), Tommy Johansson (ex Sabaton) und Chris Amott (ex Arch Enemy, Dark Tranquillity) an der Leadgitarre beinhalten.
