Random Terriermon appreciation post at 10PM! Seriously I love this little guy and wish I had a plush of him. I should rewatch Digimon Tamers one day. Need more Digimon in my dashboard. Easily my favorite Digimon.

Digipals dex formatting guideline
(Do note that sets and rarity guidelines may not be exact, as prices for these plush really depend on the competition at the moment and if there’s any demand for them. I wasn’t born when the majority of these plush were in stock, so I have essentially no way of knowing exactly which Digimon came out when. If you have any info that can help me, it’d be greatly appreciated! As for prices, as I said they change rapidly and I may also let my own experiences with buying plush influence my current analysis. I stepped off from collecting Digimon plush for a while, so some of my prices may reflect data more from 2015 or so. However, I’m trying to gouge them against current prices as well. If you have any data that can help me either with pricing plush or with determining their sets, please don’t hesitate to let me know! Feedback is always appreciated~)
RARITY GUIDELINES: - Common: You’ll should always see one on sites like eBay and you should be able to get them easily for under $20 so long as you don’t care about quality. You may need to be patient depending on how many reasonable sellers there are at the moment, but you probably won’t be waiting for too long. Examples include (and this is mostly for my own future reference btw) both Patamons, Hawkmon, Upamon, ect
- Moderate: Like Common plush you should always be able to find them on eBay, however they generally cost more and pop up for a reasonable price less often. Mint condition will also rack you up a much heftier price than Common plush. Examples include Agumon, Gabumon, Gomamon, Demiveemon, Wormmon, ect
- Rare: Don’t pop up very often on eBay, but when they do, they don’t go for hundreds of dollars - just like, one hundred. Definitely pricey in both mint and used condition, however as I’m typing this there are a Bukamon and Togemon in new condition on eBay who haven’t sold yet for $100. I don’t have much to compare them to so I don’t know their exact worth. Rare and above Digimon are also always Japanese-exclusive plush. Besides the two aforementioned, other examples include Garurumon, Greymon, Tanemon, Piximon, and Monzaemon.
- Very Rare: Pop up extremely rarely if ever on eBay, and go for hundreds of dollars. Seriously, getting all these guys mint will cost you thousands of dollars. Veedramon, Flamedramon, all the Tamers beanies, and basically any Japanese-exclusive besides the aforementioned Rare plushies and the below God Tier plushies all fall under this category.
- God Tier: I literally forgot they exist/didn’t know they existed and had an existential crisis when I saw one. Don’t even ask me what they’re worth because I haven’t got the slightest clue. Pegasusmon, Halsemon, and (tentatively) Digmon are part of this group.
