The first time Batman’s name gets written, it’s by a mother who had to give her child up for adoption. Batman has a proven track record of caring for children, even if most of them end up in spandex eventually.

When Red Robin gets summoned, it’s because CPS had to take the child away from the mother who put down his name, and even if he’s not the actual dad, he’s legally the closest next-of-kin.

The second time Batman’s name is written it’s by Selena Kyle.

A non-zero number of people wrote ‘Robin’ back when Dick was Robin, which is Very Uncomfortable now that the current Robin is about the same age as the kids ‘sired’ by Robin(I).

Fun fact: If someone in Gotham doesn't want their baby's father to have a legal claim over the child, instead of leaving the father's name blank on the birth certificate they'll list one of the Batfam.

Why wouldn't they? What's going to happen? Is some cop going to walk up to Red Hood mid shootout and demand he submit to a paternity test? Is a judge going to demand Nightwing get visitation rights? You want to tell Spoiler there's no way she's the father of 5 kids?

First Post!

Hello, this is my first post on my fallen angel kin blog. I am fallen angel-kin, my name is Harlid.  I heard a calling from the mortals for me to self-actualize, and this blog is part of it.  I remember the holy spirit as a big blue bird as tall as a skyscraper and this is my only memory of heaven, but as I fell I took my place in a city called The City of the Damned, where I was a politician.  I served my time as mayor.  My job was to contact the long-suffering and determine whether they were fit for rehabilitation.  My best contact is Harvey Dent, he was my charge for to justify his sins, and I have he is rehabilitated he role-plays on these blogs please contact me @charredheart if you would like to meet Harvey.

During my kin awakening I became aware of my wings.  They are one black and one white like in my drawing.  I am a wicked angel because I corroborate with sins like pride and vanity, but please don’t take my blog url too seriously I will probably change it when I think of a better URL.  I am thinking of making a video for youtube and my blog, but I need help please contact me if you have any questions for me to answer in my video.  I will start with the big one;  how did you first discover you were kin.  Like I said I have a memory of heaven and in the process of falling I watched over my charge very carefully, his name Harvey, mine Harlid.  Now that I have fallen I accept my mortal place as his son and at times he calls me David.  He says it was my name before the accident; a tragic childhood accident that sent me to heaven in the first place, I fell down a flight of stairs and hit my head on the marble floor.

  My mortal vessel was taken over by a character called the haunted doll, who felt nothing and only watched over my work in the city.  Unfortunately any deeper heart she may have felt is lost to me, but when I spake of her unfeeling, I got  a vision of her crying over a boy named James.  

Do I have any phantom limbs/ sensations?  Yes I do I have two wings they are one black and one white like in the drawing.  My one black wing is a crow from the Morrigan side of the family, because I am part fairy. I took flight once, I ended up on the roof of the nursing home and then I awoke in my body in the room below.  Flying was easy I just projected another flight out my apartment window and my wings still work this is only the second time I have ever tried flying so I will make it quick.  When I walk along the ground I have a feeling like my feet are floating by a few inches.  Without my angelic features I would have been paralysed by the accident, but my wings help me walk like I said they are one angel wing and one crow wing.

What does being a fallen angel mean to you?  I fell for a sinner called Harvey Dent I think that’s where I get my name Harlid and since we redeemed him he treats me like a son there are times when he calls me David which he said was my name before the accident so I like hearing it, but as David I’m partially disabled I have an invisible disability so growing up my parents used to scream at me for staying in bed all the time but when my wings are put away I am very heavy I can only move my right side and my mortal/ faire brother Francis can help me get around it is akward it is like having two heads but I wear a vest with a nice collar that helps keep my neck safe because there are times when Francis has accidently broken my neck and then he takes on a kin/ role called the Wicked man and he can move around without me, kind of like when I take on my angelic form but we are different in many ways the Wicked man is a little bit like Mr. Hyde he has a twisted leg and I have only seen him getting around the nursing home but he is fit, he also takes care of my sinner Mr. Dent and sometimes they say they are married.

I can’t think of any more to write right now but I’m proud of myself I wrote a lot.  Finally I am thirteen years old and I love reading about catwoman and selina kyle I might try writing fanfiction so far I made a sticker for her if she ever sees it.  I had a friend who played catwoman in our roleplays but she didn’t answer my last letter I want her to know I am still thinking of her I would love to write her another letter so I will tag her one last time, unless she responds.
