Biolights should be a Cybertronian turn-on. 𝙀𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 when located on the crotch panels.

I imagine they flare up to a brighter color when they are aroused/their charge is high and they flicker during overload.

Cybertronians with biolights in their panel's seams are probably considered slutty... Yes, I'm talking to 𝙮𝙤𝙪 Megatron.

Prowls reaction to Megatron in Earthspark has given me a fic idea (once I'm done doing everything else lol)

Megatron's optics get huge when he gets hugged and I just... Idk. I have a history of not liking Prowl, but Earthspark is the exception. I think Meg's deserves an apology handy, don't you?

You know how they say bots optics darken when they're turned on? It makes sense.

That scene when Meg's optics darken after being banished. I assume it's the feeling like your heart drops in your chest in astonishment and disbelief. That drop in "blood pressure" would cause a lack of optical charge.

That's the same feeling you get when you are really invested with a partner, yeah?

Oooooh, important! Which universe should I draw the MegOp drawing from? I was going to originally just do IDW/MTMTE/Gen one, but like I forgot about Earthspark!

He could have his sparkling where his cockpit is and like can't carry anyone in there because his frame and systems are reconstructing it to carry lol.

And maybe it can show them in the cockpit and maybe he keeps them covered up somehow? And maybe it glows all pretty too ever so slightly

This is REALLY starting to sound better as a fic, for real.
