Ok I’ll come out and say smth controversial
I like that Kieran, the professors, Briar and all else weren’t possessed actually
#IDK MAN MAYBE I JUST GOT LONG LASTING ISSUES BEING A SUN AND MOON KID#Seeing Lusamine’s impeccable characterization being destroyed by USUM (written off as possession) and having THAT#be her characterization moving forward in all but the manga#but idk. I like these guys having full autonomy of their actions and doing shitty things without a pokemon forcing their hand#I would’ve liked the possession route if it was more so ‘oh the pokemon is worsening their flaws!’ instead of just making the person Bad Now#but I do not have confidence in the game nor the fandom really for that route to take place bc I know damn well#the possession would be used as a get out of jail free card to treat the characters as Not Flawed and ignore their nuances!#I LIKE NUANCE AND MORAL GREYITY AND NOT BLAMING SHIT ON AN EXTERNAL FORCE AND GETTING AWAY WITH IT‼️
