Delhi Police Investigate 'Justice League India' Telegram Handle After Rohini Blast

Following an explosion at a school in Rohini, Delhi Police have initiated a multi-agency investigation and reached out to Telegram for information regarding a user handle named 'Justice League India.' This handle posted CCTV footage of the blast and claimed responsibility for the incident.

The explosion occurred at approximately 7:47 AM, damaging the wall of the CRPF school in the Prashant Vihar area. Fortunately, there were no injuries, but the blast shattered windows of nearby vehicles and shop hoardings, sending a cloud of smoke into the air.

In response to the explosion, sniffer dogs and NSG commandos were deployed to the scene, where forensic teams collected samples, including a suspicious white powder. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has also joined the investigation, with a case filed under the Explosives Act. Authorities believe the blast was likely caused by a crude bomb, and police are reviewing local CCTV footage to identify the perpetrator.

The incident has sparked a political blame game, with Delhi Chief Minister Atishi criticizing the central government's handling of law and order in the capital. In a post on X, she claimed the blast highlighted the deteriorating security situation in Delhi, likening it to Mumbai during the era of organized crime.

BJP spokesperson Shazia Ilmi responded, calling the Chief Minister's remarks irresponsible and stating that the situation is under control. She urged political leaders to focus on the seriousness of the incident rather than engaging in blame.
