My local secondhand store does “Retro Days” where they put out “better” items than usual and I don’t generally get stuff I have no concrete use for yet BUT all the fabrics were €1!!!!

Top to bottom, left to right:

two 100% wool tartan skirts for daily wear

Red gingham fabric, summer dress

Red Christmas fabric, winter dress/shirt (it’s not that much yardage and I love a puffy sleeve)

two green wool scarves for my 18th C does fantasy costume, one of which will be turned into 18th C mitts bc I expect it to be cold again lmao (not sure how I’ll use the second one yet but I might recoup the yarn for embroidery)

White sheet for 1910s petticoat/skirt mockup (I plan to use the mockup as a petticoat by shortening and adding a ruffle)

curtain cords to use as trim for historical costuming (project tbd)

A brown knit wrap to make into _~*something*~_ for my 18th C does fantasy costume, probably some kind of hooded cape, possibly embroidered to look leafy 🍂🍁 because again, I expect it to be cold lmao 🫠

Brown yarn for the above embroidery (on top of the gingham)

Cool green cotton-viscose tablecloth for a daily wear/fantasybounding top/dress or something we’ll see

Brown-ish fabric with green leafy curlicues to use as lining for the cape?? Or a lil corset or something?? For the 18th C does fantasy costume, though I might just use it for regular fantasybounding/daily wear

Organic cotton floral tablecloth + linen lace edged curtain(?? Or something??) Will probably become a summery top with the lace used as a collar or cuff detail we’ll see
