This week’s astrology forecast: April 3rd - 9th
Message for the week: We walk together.
The week starts off with a bit of mental tension with Mercury (the mind) moving into Taurus and in a disruptive square to eruptive Pluto on Monday—it might be best to work by yourself on this touchy day. However, mental energy stabilizes and is fortified the rest of the week with Mercury moving into harmonious aspects to Saturn and Mars—determination pays off.
The main feature of this week’s astrology is Wednesday’s Full Moon in Libra with the Sun in Aries conjunct both Chiron (the wounded healer) and expansive Jupiter. Individual healing can take place and is facilitated by healing wounded relationships. You can’t heal alone. We heal with each other—your well-being is interdependent on the well-being of your relationships.
Relationships are further enhanced this weekend with Venus (relationships) being uplifted by inspirational Neptune, as well as Mercury being in harmony to Mars—bringing clarity to communications.
Monday: Lace up your boots and get going on whatever needs attention, with the Moon in effective, efficient Virgo and in a harmonious trine to the Venus/Uranus conjunction. However, you may want to work by yourself with Mercury entering Taurus and in a square to Pluto, when others can be defensive, leading to petty disagreements erupting into blowouts.
Tuesday: You may feel like sleeping in and staying in the dreamworld and, with the day beginning with the Moon in Virgo opposite Neptune (enchanting fantasies). Once you get going, a productive, harmonious day unfolds. Relationships and negotiations are enhanced as the Moon enters cooperative Libra this afternoon and trines Pluto.
Wednesday: The Full Moon in Libra occurs at 9:34 PM PDT, with the Sun being conjunct both Chiron (the wounded healer) and amplifying Jupiter in Aries (new beginnings). A good day to bring the healing energy of Chiron to yourself and to your relationships with others. Mercury is sextile to Saturn, bringing stability to the mind and clarity to communications.
Thursday: A harmonious day for relationships and all cooperative endeavors with the Moon in accommodating Libra. However, watch for the tendency to over promise and take on more than is realistic, with the Moon being opposite overly optimistic Jupiter.
Friday: Two favorable sextiles occur today with Venus being sextile Neptune, enhancing the ability to appreciate beauty and love, as well as Mercury sextile Mars, enhancing communication with clarity and directness. The Moon is in deep-diving Scorpio in a supportive grand trine with Saturn and Mars—take intimacy and close relationships to a deeper level.
Saturday: Expect the unexpected at the start of the day, with the Moon in Scorpio opposite unpredictable Uranus. You may feel reticent about joining into all the opportunities available today, preferring privacy and deep one-to one relationships. The Moon trines Neptune tonight, gracing the evening with a peaceful, easy feeling.
Sunday: This is a good day for an Easter Egg hunt, getting out of doors for a hike or bike ride, as well as gatherings with friends and family, with the Moon entering “always up for a celebration” Sagittarius in a flowing sextile to Pluto. There is a square to inhibiting Saturn midday, testing patience, but otherwise, an upbeat day to get out and explore what life has to offer.
May the stars be with you!
I will be giving a talk on April 13th/simulcast on Zoom
***please note: WSAA has agreed to make recordings of the talk available for all who register to listen at their convenience.
I will be giving a talk for the Washington State Astrology Association April 13th, 7:30 – 9:00 PM at the Puget Sound Yacht Club in Seattle/also being simulcast on Zoom. There are major shifts occurring with Pluto moving into Aquarius (for the next twenty years) as well as Saturn shifting into Pisces, joining Neptune—this is an essential paradigm shift of moving from the structured past to the still to be invented future. Pluto had been in the Earth sign Capricorn for the last fifteen years, leading to one’s self-worth being based on their, wealth, possessions, and status in the world. With the shift into the Air sign Aquarius, one’s self-worth will be based on their ideas, the ability to connect with others, build community, and contribute to the evolving awakening of humanity that is the potential of this era. We will dive into the highs and lows of this shift with a focus on its impact on relationships of all types by exploring Pluto’s aspects to each of the signs Venus is in.
If you do not know what sign your Venus is in, email us your birth information and we will send it to you before the talk.
Here is the link to register for this talk at WSAA’s website:

Richest Neighbourhoods in Seattle
Seattle, nestled in the Pacific Northwest and known for its stunning natural beauty and tech-driven economy, boasts several affluent neighborhoods where luxury meets scenic landscapes and vibrant urban living. From waterfront mansions to historic districts with panoramic views of the Puget Sound and Cascade Mountains, these neighborhoods epitomize wealth and exclusivity. Some of the richest neighbourhoods in Seattle include Broadmoor, Denny-Blaine, Madison Park, Laurelhurst, Windermere, Montlake, View Ridge, Matthews Beach, Phinney Ridge, and Pike Place Market. The wealth of these neighbourhoods is attributed to several factors such as high property values, luxury amenities, proximity to desirable schools and parks, and the presence of affluent residents including business executives, professionals, and celebrities. Residents of these neighbourhoods often enjoy access to upscale dining and shopping districts, private golf courses, yacht clubs, and cultural institutions such as museums and theatres. Outdoor activities like boating, hiking, and cycling are also popular due to the scenic surroundings. For a detailed information on this, refer to our blog 5 Richest Neighbourhoods in Seattle Where Elegance Meets Tradition.

Re-visiting Joan Didion's "Slouching towards Bethlehem"
As a teenager, growing up in Seattle, I wanted nothing more than to go to college in California. My mother supported everything, almost anything I wanted to go after – except for that. Reading Didion, I’m reminded precisely why. My mother’s San Fran, full of luncheons at the St. Francis Yacht Club and high tea at the St. Francis Hotel, that was over. She knew I romanticised the place and she…

Dec. 6-Jan. 4, Washington
I continue to get out golfing almost once a week, loving my new, waterproof, hightop, golf shoes. Mittens for the hands and warm dry feet make standing water and cold temps a non-issue. Sadly, my game stays the same:-) Gae has been enjoying the local Port Angeles Garden Club immensely, and continued her volunteer reading with 4th graders at a local elementary.
Tumblr media
We headed to Seattle for Gae’s Dr. appointment on the 13th, and were caught soon after by snow and very cold temperatures... nothing better than ice, snow and the hills of West Seattle to add excitment to an otherwise dull day!
The van’s check engine light blinked on within less than a mile on our drive to Seattle, so I ended up installing new plugs and wires while we were parked at our friend’s place for the Seattle visit. I’m not sure how well I did it, but the light hasn’t returned yet:-)
I got together with my college roomates, Andy, Mike and Dave on the 17th for a nice walk around Seward Park followed by eating, drinking and lively fun. I always have a blast with those guys. Gae got to enjoy making cards with her friend Maria while I was gone.
Tumblr media
We got this great picture from Rob and Ben from their visit to Victoria via the ferry from Port Angeles... nice!
Tumblr media
We joined some Toastmaster friends for dinner on our way to Enumclaw at Betty’s retirement place in Des Moines. Good food and great conversation.
Tumblr media
We stayed in Enumclaw and our friends Daniel and Melissas, to take care of their dogs and cats while they took a Mexican Cruise. My first ever in Washington Ice storm struck while there, forming sheet ice on everything.
Tumblr media
I made the drive to my brother Joe’s house in Bothell for Christmas Eve, thankful that enough of the ice had melted for a normal drive.
Tumblr media
My nephew Noel gave these crazy hats to his 4 nieces, alien bugs all!
Tumblr media
Gae and I stayed cosy with the pups and watched too much TV while haning out in Enumclaw.
Tumblr media
I played the Enumclaw golf course on the 28th, and while excited to hit the green on an appoach shot, didn’t care for plugging the ball. The “lake” in back of the green is the fareway for this hole.
Tumblr media
We drove to Olympia on January 1st to visit friends Dave and Diane, where we checked out the beautifully maintained trails through the complex. This was, of course, Gae’s favorite!
Tumblr media
We took a waterfront walk with Dave and Diane on the 2nd, before departing for a last medical appointment for Gae in Seattle on the 3rd. We took this shot near the yacht sales office at the marina, where we look forward to Dave and Diane’s future toys;-)

September 23rd-25th: Indian summer
This past weekend has been an absolute blast. Normally when I have time to write it’s because nothing is going on, right now I’m still nursing a hangover and trying to get my voice back for work tomorrow (also lost my ID at CRSSD so I’m going to have to figure that out before Seattle).
Friday:
Wore all-white after Labor Day for my second date with Peter. We went paddle boating at the San Diego Yacht club because his grandparents own a fucking yacht. We’re talking multiple bedrooms and bathrooms with functioning showers. Then we speed boated to downtown and back. Took a golf cart to sushi, took his Tesla back to his grandparents stunning maritime mansion, and then made out in the shower. Fun times!
Saturday:
Peter dropped me off home and I borrowed a crop top from Hannah and headed downtown to Jen’s boyfriends rooftop to pregame CRSSD. I had a fan in my hand the entire time and bumped in to Becs from college, Will Smithers (who still hates me), and saw Ameya. I also managed to a try a sample platter of uppers that led to an intense comedown. Ended up hanging out in a hotel room until 2 before taking a $44 uber home.
Sunday:
Ate chipotle. Watched Schitt’s creek. No voice. No ID.

have you ever come across any of the grunge guys while in seattle?
Short answer: Yes.
Long answer with names:
Kim Thayil, in front of the ShowBox downtown, he was getting out of a car as I was walking past on the sidewalk, I looked at him and he KNEW I knew who he was, my face is an open book, he had two small children and a lady with him so I didn't say a word, just nodded and went on. I hope he didn't think I didn't want to scream and hug him, I was just being polite.
Stone Gossard, oh how many times! I've had him right behind me in the Starbux near his house, I went down to Pioneer Square when he was selling the Real Change paper to raise homeless awareness, I've seen him coming out of his studio, he's very recognizable and he never travels with an 'entourage'.
Sean Kinney, saw him twice at the Croc, once the first time I went there, my friend and I were waiting for it to open and I kind of cupped my hands around my eyes and looked in the window in front to see if I could seem them getting ready to open, and he was *thisclose* to the window, sitting at the high stools faffing around with his laptop. I didn't recognize him first off, he had his glasses on, and then he like, looked back at me and squinted, he was grinning, I shrieked and pulled my friend away and we did NOT go into the Croc that day, lol. Second time was again, at the Croc, he showed up briefly after the Alice show at the WAMU and literally wandered through the crowd fairly unnoticed. I think maybe 4 of us tumbled that it was him. Didn't scream that time, tho.
Stopped suddenly in Post Alley once because I dropped my lens cover and William DuVall almost ran into me. He was very kind at my many many apologies and his wife is like, even more beautiful in life than in her pictures.
Jerry Cantrell waved at us all sitting in front of the WAMU waiting for the show from his SUV but didn't have his window down.
Buzz Osbourne sat at our table one night at the Belltown Yacht Club because it was the only open seat close to the band. He was amazing cool and exactly like you'd think he would be. Another person from the scene back in the day got her nose bent out of shape (NOT saying names here) because he was 'stealing her limelight', because she likes to showboat around Seattle while bitching loudly about how annoying it is to be recognized (pretty easy when you're 6 foot tall and being LOUD about who you are...)
Nearly got ran over by Nancy Wilson early early New Years' Morning of 2019, she was coming out of one of the fancy little restaurants down by Pike and I was again, walking past. She almost hit me with the door, was very sweet, apologized, listened to me stammer about how much of an inspiration she was, and was very down to earth.
Actually saw Jeff Ament painting the Mother Love Bone mural on Easy Street but I didn't realize at the time who he was, and it was very early in the prep for it, so I didn't chime that it was a MLB piece. Sad to have missed that.
Duff McKagen walked past me about 5 feet away at the International Fountain. Perfectly normal walk in the park for him and nobody seemed to recognize him.
Met Kevin Wood and Regan Hagar of Malfunkshun. Those guys are aces, absolute sweethearts, so amazing, so genuine, so true.
Wow that's a lot of name dropping. Sorry, guys.

Tessmontyart’s Owl City fanart masterpost
Hello! For those who don’t know me I have been on long quest to complete an artwork for every Owl City song*. I thought this list might be an easy way to keep track of everything! 😊
💖 Each track links to my corresponding artwork.

💖  ‘(repeat)’ means a song that already exists on a previous album.
💖 ‘Song name 1, Song name 2′ means a song I’ve done more than one artwork for
Please let me know if I’ve missed any Owl City songs! (I'll tackle his other projects like the scores and Sky Sailing later) I’ll update this list whenever I complete a new work :)
