Professor to Speak at ITC
The Indianapolis Transportation Club (ITC) is featuring Dr. Kuntal Bhattacharyya during its annual dinner on Tuesday, December 6 at the Primo Event Center in Indianapolis. He will discuss career development opportunities and building the next generation of supply chain leaders.
Dr. Bhattacharyya is an associate professor of operations and supply chain management as well as Project Director of the GEODIS Logistics 4.0 Innovation Hub in Plainfield.

OSCM students Jacob Johnson, Gavin Englert, Cameron Bridges, and Alijah Rogers-Peterson recently took third place in the highly competitive Gregg Sherrill Case Competition hosted by Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis.
Their position was within three points of first place! The team described the event as an “amazing opportunity” both to compete against other colleges as well as gain “experience and knowledge” whilst doing so.

Dr. Paul Schikora has spent more than two decades teaching in the Scott College of Business's Operations and Supply Chain Management program. Today, he still enjoys helping students prepare for rewarding jobs in this dynamic industry. Ryan Hannaford will graduate this May with a degree in Operations and Supply Chain Management and has accepted a position at North American Lighting to work as a supply chain specialist.
His favorite part of Student Philanthropy was getting to raise money with other motivated individuals to give back to the university and his favorite ISU memory was doing the fight song when he was an orientation leader.

“Congratulations! Your team is invited to the 2020 ASCM Case Competition Regional Round!” came the message from the Association for Supply Chain Management. This meant our OSCM team of Charlotte Barger, Dylan Eggers, Makayla Irish, and Casey Phillips were one of only 8 teams selected to advance to the regional competition.
The team has already spent a month on the competition and it won’t be over until the finals October.
Congratulations as well to their instructors, Dr. Kuntal Bhattacharyya, Dr. Paul Schikora and Mr. Kenneth Jones. Kudos for a valiant effort by Cameron Bridges, Nick Burton, Sarah Williams, and Taylor Young.
