Ich glaube, eines meiner Lieblingsgefühle ist es, mit jemandem zu lachen und mitten im Gespräch zu merken, wie sehr man diese Person und ihre Existenz genießt.

Museum ship Cutty Sark – London
Tumblr media
The London district of Greenwich can be easily reached from the city by boat. Shortly before arriving in Greenwich, you can see a ship on land from the water. The mighty three-master is the "Cutty Sark".
Tumblr media
The ship, completed in 1869, was initially used as a tea clipper and was considered one of the fastest sailing ships of its time.
Tumblr media
Around 1877, the tea trade was taken over by steamships. The Cutty Sark continued to be used in the maritime trade of various goods and set several records during this time. In 1895, she was sold to a Portuguese shipping company.
Tumblr media
After a few detours, the ship returned to Great Britain in 1922. Initially, the sailing ship served as a training ship until, after its last sea voyage in 1954, it was placed in the dry dock in Greenwich, which had been built especially for the ship.

Since 1957, the Cutty Sark can be visited as a museum ship.
