The Scarlett Letters, a radical community bookshop in London prioritising books by sex workers and about sex work as well as uplifting the writing of all kinds of marginalized writers, is now open as of today (29th November)!

Look at the books I helped put out on the shelves, ready for our opening - we have sections with sex work, various kinds of non-fiction and theory, feminism, sci-fi, poetry, Palestine, queer experiences, prison abolition and more!

The dress is based off dolly partons from the Best Little whorehouse in Texas, but in purple instead of red!

It's the standard at lots of sex worker events not to take pictures, particularly of performers but also of the crowd, because so many of us need to remain anonymous for our safety. That being said, please enjoy this blurry picture of me speaking at the event for Working Guys: A Transmasculine Sex Worker Anthology where I've hidden the faces of anyone visible!

We reached the capacity for the venue (new radical bookshop platforming sex workers, The Scarlett Letters), had some boylesque and strip performances by transmasc sex workers, and got to hear readings from contributors to the book. I can't express enough how grateful I am that people have shown up for this and that you care about transmasculine people and sex workers enough to support with money and time!

It was obvious that Scarlett had put up a wall of silence around him and double-locked any information that would be useful to her former husband in finding her.

The tied throat, he settled in Scarlett’s office, absently caressing a shawl that she had abandoned on an armchair.

He sat down in her office chair, grabbed a sheet of paper, and wrote.

"My Darling!

Or maybe I should start my letter with "Scarlett!" because your name alone embodies for eternity the most beautiful of tender words.

I shall not mention here your cruel tirade made before our separation on the train. I do not understand it and I do not accept it.

You will not marry Duncan Vayton because you cannot throw away the chance of happiness for the two of us - the four of us with our children.

I know that I am guilty of this situation. Until my last breath, I will curse my decision to divorce.
