Can I request this. A dancer reader with pokemon scarlet and violet. Reader has meloetta, oricorio, scream tail, primarinna, hoopa and toxtricity.
If you want the lore on this reader. They are a singer whose family was said to be the descendants of a siren.
This reader has never caught a pokemon with a pokeball. The pokemon that join reader just travel with them. This reader uses sign language or writing to communicate as their voice is dangerous as it can charm anyone ho hears it if they aren't related to reader from their dad's side.
Reader went to this school was near to her mom's childhood home.
Meloetta and Primarinna (who ia an alpha pokemon) were able snap people out of Reader's voice and joined reader so they don't hurt anyone with their voice.
Toxtricity is protects reader from being kidnapped and overprotective and is resistant to their voice because punk rock.
Hoopa follows reader as reader is interesting.
Scream tail was a pokemon her grandma asked to protect reader.
As a dancer, you've made quite a name for yourself in the Paldea region--almost rivalling celebrities like Ryme and Iono.
People everywhere find your performances stellar, especially when your Pokémon provided backup dancing and singing.
A year prior to the Treasure Hunt, you did a show for the Festival of Masks in Kitakami, telling a moving story about the "Loyal Three" and Ogerpon.
Ofc you regretted it after learning that was a false narrative.
Speaking of your team, it was quite peculiar...consisting of an Alpha 'mon with menacing red eyes, two mythicals, an Ancient Paradox 'mon that somehow got out of the crater, and a perfectly normal Toxtricity and Oricorio.
However, you don't speak much, preferring sign language and/or writing as ways of communication..and your friends wondered why...
Although after becoming close with Arven, Penny, and Nemona (and eventually Carmine and Kieran), you wrote them all messages detailing your past.
You're a descendant of sirens, appearing entirely human yet having the alluring voice of one.
You basically know Hypnosis..but it wasn't something you were proud of, because you've charmed people into following your voice, and...it almost always ended badly.
Unfortunately, that made you a prime target in several kidnappings from evil organizations in other regions.
They falsely believed your family could somehow learn Pokémon moves and became obsessed with harnessing that same power..even though it had nothing to do with Pokémon at all.
Since moving to Paldea, it's become your safe haven, especially since your mom's childhood home was here and you could retreat to it whenever you wished.
After your grandma gave you Scream Tail to accompany you during your many journeys, the rest of your team sorta formed itself.
You never believed in using pokeballs, and thus they followed you wherever you went (ofc as long as it was allowed).
Oricorio was always perched on your shoulder to scout out high places and be your number 1 cheerleader (in the case of the pom-pom variant).
Amped!Toxtricity became your bodyguard and a friend you could rely on after learning its Punk Rock ability made it quite resistant to your voice. So you'd make small talk with it, although you still don't say too much.
It's ready to throw hands wherever and whenever you're being bothered--by students, staff, and tourists alike.
Alpha!Primarinna was a lass you discovered at the Wistful Fields one summer day, having come a long way from Hisui (like Bloodmoon Ursaluna).
Normally Alphas are belligerent, but she felt a sudden connection to you and obeyed you right on the spot. A giant and loyal protector.
Hoopa travelled through space and time to meet you, finding you quite interesting...and grinned deviously after you managed to win its prison bottle at an auction.
It almost caused chaos at the mart, tricking you into opening it, but even you were able to tame its Unbound form and convince it to become Confined again.
Finally, Meloetta was lured to one of your performances and provided beautiful backup vocals, and ever since then you two have done many duos as dancer/singer.
Her and Primarinna are the only ones who can snap people out of your spells. They know you hate to hurt others but sometimes humans just push your buttons and...well...next thing you know, the two ladies are scrambling to save them from walking through hostile territory to greet you.
Fortunately, those events happen rarely now and you've been able to form meaningful friendships.
Since nobody in your team is stuck in a pokeball, they usually hang out at your mom's childhood home or in your dorm--but Toxtricity and Oricorio insist on being with you in-class.
As far as everyone's reactions go...
.......
Nemona is PSYCHED to see you have a team specifically themed around music and song (except for Hoopa, although it knows Throat Chop yet seldom uses it), always wanting to battle them.
Also converses with you in sign language. I hc she learned it so she could communicate with deaf/HOH trainers so they can battle with her, too, free of judgement.
Penny is both impressed and terrified tbh--especially with the Alpha who has looks that could kill if it weren't for your unique connection with the giant water/fairy. But her Sylveon gets along with Primarinna surprisingly well.
Arven almost didn't believe you were a descendant of sirens until he witnessed you hypnotize a substitute who thought you weren't answering their question..nearly falling into the trance himself until Meloetta showed up.
He's never doubted your power since.
Carmine did tease you in the beginning for being even quieter than her little brother, but felt guilty after reading your letter...wanting to learn sign language herself to own up to her mistakes.
Kieran saw your performance at the festival and couldn't believe you returned to Kitakami as a student, wanting to challenge him to a battle.
You? A celebrity? Against him????
But after the ordeal with Ogerpon, he felt betrayed by his two biggest idols...and so your letter went unread, although it remained in his bag and he finally looked at it post-Indigo Disk.
He showed up to your dorm at BB Academy that same day, a bagful of candy apples and berries as another apology.
Least to say, your team adored the treats.
Even Toxtricity--who genuinely thought he was being an annoying brat this entire time--finally softened up around him.

Headcannon;
In pokemon x persona
Adachi would be a dark (or bug type) user
Narukami would have normal type pokemon
Yosuke would have a multi type team ( frog theme)
Yukiko would be fire type
Chie fighting type
Naoto ice type
Kanji everyone thought would be electric type but surprisingly he has both fairy types and pink pokemon ( Kanji; what?! I look cute things do what!?)
Dojima would have rock type
Nanako would have the whole eeveelutions as her team
And teddie would have bear pokemon
I think it's so funny that you bring that up because I did a what-if persona users were pokemon trainer list years ago (before Scarlet and Violet even came out). I did the entire Arena Ultimax roster + Fuuka. It doesn't contain Dojima or Nanako because they are not persona users. Perhaps they could have something like a Bidoof as a pet, tho. Also, Kanji's cute pokémon is a pikachu that he evolved into a Raichu because he was bullied by the big competition trainer for wanting to be like Ash and not evolve it. My headcanon is that a lot of cuter pokemon are scared of him/don't want to be near him, and he attracts uglier pokemon, Raichu being his only cute one.
All the pokemon chosen are based on the characters' personality, persona, fighting style, and story/character arc. (You'll see that Junpei's team is a bit strange, but there's a good reason for a lot of those pokémon.) I did this list when I was extra fan of persona too, so I can't make a better one:
Yu: Pikachu, Luxray, Reshiram Toxtricity (Low Key form), Zacian, Katagami Yosuke: Crobat, Greninja, Chatot Politoad, Toxicroak, Toxtricity (Amped form) Chie: Crabominable, Hitmonlee,  Galarian farfetch Lucario, Mienfoo, Hakamo-o Yukiko: Oricorio (Baile Style), Salazzle, Lurantis, Hatterene, Braixen, Cherrim Kanji: Electivire, Alolan Graveler, Thundurus, Machoke, Raichu, Scrafty Rise: Wigglytuff, Meloetta, Chuchmur Audino, Clefairy, Eevee Teddie: Teddiursa, Bewear, Beartic Pancham, Stufful, Darumaka Naoto: Celebi, Beedrill, Beautifly Orbeetle, Flygon, Scizor Adachi: Mimikyu, Gengar, Zekrom Zamazenta, Rotom, Sableye Marie: Castform, Cosmog, Celesteela Rayquaza, Solrock, Raikou Margaret: Arceus, Cobalion, Zygarde, Calyrex, Machamp, Zapdos Elizabeth: Eternatus, Lunala, Yvetal Uxie, Banette, Galarian M. Mime Labrys: Silvally, Lucario, Guzzlord Azelf, Zoroark, Haxorus Mitsuru: Alolan Ninetales, Weavile, Glastrier, Glaceon, Abomasnow, Frosmoth Akihiko: Hitmonchan, Sir'fetch, Hakamo-o Emolga, Primeape, Falinks Aigis: Magearna, Genesect, Magnezone, Naganadel, Vikavolt, Inteleon Yukari: Miltank, Unfezant♀️, Togekiss Decidueye, Snubbull, Noctowl Ken: Yamask, Metang, Growlithe (Koromaru) Raboot, Escavalier, Togedemaru Junpei: Monferno, Volcanora, Talonflame Nihilego, Meganium, Blaziken Fuuka: Beldum, Gardevoir, Dottler Sho Minazuki: Morpeko, Aegislash, Galarian Moltres, Darmanitan, Alolan Marowak, Absol

What if the hellevers and the world of Pokemon were combined. This is Mammon the sin of greed and hell's four gym learder. If you like this keep an eye out for other sins and the helluva cast as Pokemon trainers.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Since Tumblr lets me type a whole lot I thought I'd take the time to explain my choices for this design and team.
First off I know for Mammon big type and even electric type really stand out, but I think poison is the best representation of not only mammon's toxic business practices, but also the polluted hellscape that the greed ring has become.
As for mammon's team aerodos and gangar are easy. One a spider and gangar just kinda looks like Mammon 😅.
Toxtricity amped from with it's 6 yellow stripes represent the electric guitar we see Mammon wielding as well as Mammon electrokinesis powers.
Glarion wheezing is in my opinion the best pokemon to represent the culture of the greed ring. It's smokestack represents the constant pollution and greedy practices of its leader and people.
Soripedial is to represent mammon's true demonic form. With his many legs and long torso.
And last but not least mammon's ace. I thought a poison Tara type would be fitting for the king of greed. As Tara Pokemon and crowns are often associated with treasure in Pokemon Scarlet and violet. For the Pokemon it's self I chose Blacephalon because it's a clown.
If you made it this far thank you ❤️

this looks thrilling
Should we call this a “fishing” scam?”
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are the newest paired games in the Pokémon franchise, and so there are a lot of YouTubers streaming gameplay of them these days. What sets Mutekimaru Channel’s Pokémon Violet stream apart, though, is that it’s played by fish.
Yes, it’s a different team of fish than the ones who beat Pokémon Saphire two years ago (that team is retired now), but still, Mutekimaru Channel is all about streaming fish gameplay. “How can fish play games?” you might be asking, and the answer is that their owner, who runs Mutekimaru Channel, sets up a camera that visually divides the fish’s aquarium into sections, with each one corresponding to a different button on the game system’s controller. As the fish swim through the tank, the camera sees where they stop, then translates the corresponding designated button press into an input for the game.
In short, the system allows the fish to use the system’s controller, even without directly touching it. However, the unexpected side effect of that is that this allows the fish to use the controller for non-gameplay functions too, which led to an absolutely crazy chain of events, as shown in the video below.
youtube
Everything starts off normally enough. The fish are swimming about, making their in-game avatar run around the Asado Desert. But all of a sudden, a problem occurs.
As many gamers have already discovered, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet don’t exactly have the most stable performance, and the fish’s game crashes. As they continue to swim, the error message in confirmed, and the Switch jumps back to the home screen.
So the game is no longer running, but the fish are still sending inputs to the controller. Unfortunately, their owner isn’t present to watch this all unfold live, as he’s left the fish to do the stream on their own while he’s elsewhere. Now, instead of their inputs moving their avatar randomly around the map, they’re randomly moving the cursor around the home screen and settings menus, and chaos ensues.
One of the first acts of unintentional ¥mischief they get up to is changing the nickname registered to the system from “Mutekimaru” to “Rowawawa¥.”
▼ ろわわわ¥ = Rowawawa¥. Remember that yen sign.
But the bigger shock is when the fish’s swim-puts gain them access to the Nintendo eShop!
Since Mutekimaru has his password saved, all it takes is a single button press with the cursor in the right spot for the fish to log in, and his password isn’t the only thing Mutekimaru has saved, either.
Yep, he’s got his credit card information saved too.
Though their random inputs result in them logging out of the store at least once, eventually the fish log back in and select the option to add money to Mutekimaru’s account balance, charging 500 yen (US$3.90) to his credit card. _____________
So what I'm reading here is that you should make sure to not have your log in set like that if you want to let your fish play Pokemon.
More of the story in the link too

Ramblings and analysis [part 1]
Scarlet | The Arcane Shadow
My long time favourite character in AFK Arena since I started playing has been Scarlet ❤️ her backstory is killer and I feel like her design is detailed and enhances her personality even more using these details you really have to look into
To start, her past! Please skip the next two paragraphs if you know her story 👍
Scarlet’s mother (who I’ll call Ms. Laurence for convenience) raised her from a baby to around what I assume was preteen age. Their family carries a maternal “curse” of psychological torment and dark energy. Scarlet’s grandma had previously killed herself during an opera performance, after being driven insane by the voices she heard. Ms. Laurence wanted Scarlet to overcome this curse, and have her become a respectable woman like her own mom. Scarlet? Not so much. And although she loved her very much, Ms. Laurence didn’t get to see Scarlet’s future. She spiralled into insanity as well, and was taken to a mental institution.
Scarlet was taken to the Violet Orphanage afterwards, which could have a very long post on its own. 💀💀 While there, she tried and failed multiple times to escape. She felt like something was off about the strange people and weird tests they did. After having enough of her midnight missions, they started to amp up the tests in intensity and aggression, in either magical or physical ways. During one of these tests she passes out, and in the haze of her consciousness, she receives the last wishes from the spirit of her mother, before coming too. Once she’s awake, she makes her last attempt to escape— by burning the entire orphanage to the ground.
Her past is tragic. She’s stuck with a curse that’s taken both her mom and grandma, then used as a lab rat til she has a mental break. But there’s so much more to analyze! (Wowwww)
Her family’s curse is one described as one of “madness,” that blurs reality and fantasy. In a setting like this, it seems to be some kind of arcane affliction passed from mother to daughter.
However, there’s the obvious subliminal implication of her curse— that it’s a genetic mental illness. Although disorders are not often hereditary, they’re still most commonly seen in an individual when a direct family member has the same one. For Scarlet and her family, this sounds like a long line of women who have schizophrenia. Hearing voices like auditory hallucinations, erratic behaviour, and having extreme delusions, are the most prominent and aggressive symptoms. Scarlet’s grandma took her life after losing the ability to differentiate between real and imaginary. Scarlets mother became overwhelmed by her delusions. Before burning down the orphanage, Scarlet herself begins to hear voices and monsters. Now on her own, she doesn’t want to become what her mother and grandmother did.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
She also possibly fights her own hallucinations better because she had to reassure her mother when she was young. She probably never met her grandma though.
As a violent and dangerous curse, it’s effective and seems to stem from some older power. But I think this reflection of mental illness in women is powerful and incredibly well written for a character in a mobile gacha RPG game.
Okay, that’s on her story! Now for an artist’s eye on her design… let’s move top to bottom.
Scarlet’s hair is visually more black with streaks of red highlights. But we know from the description of her mother, along with her 4koma-style comic, that she had a full head of red hair.
Tumblr media
The red itself is said to be a sign of the curse in her story. Seeing that the black has come and overtaken it in her recent years, I think it’s meant to represent her own hold on her sanity. Scarlet’s mother still has (I assume) all her hair red when she’s taken away. The black in her hair might be her own control on the chaos magic, and how she’s managed to harness it.
Or, the black came through as an awakening of sorts. It comes in the climax of her grand escape, when she seemingly inherits the destructive power of the curse. If her mother didn’t manage to fully grasp any control over her own magic, maybe she never had the same moment of magic-puberty as scarlet. So maybe this magic changes her both mentally and physically, leaving a few remnants of the red, because even though she’s improving, the curse will never stop its assault on her. Either way, it’s a physical tell of how her magic has changed her.
Her clothes seem to be a personal choice for herself. At six years old, Scarlet rejected any kind of fancy teachings or proper dresses. She was likely just a young girl who had her own preferences and didn’t like the suffocating atmosphere of noble life. But her mother’s most sincere wish for her was to see her grow into a distinguished and elegant lady like her grandmother.
Tumblr media
I imagine she had a lot of time to think and reflect on her memories in the Violet Orphanage. Her mother loved her genuinely and dearly, and they were separated in the end because of their shared curse. I imagine she would remember the one thing her mom wanted to see most in her. The dress and corset were probably picked out herself because she wants to fulfill the one thing her mom wanted. :( even though she hates dressing up, she wants to make her mom proud in this way. The makeup and heels are probably for the same reason.
Her armour and signature item are both made of this gold coloured metal, but her shoulder guards got some red by the edges.
Tumblr media
The one other character with the same kind of armour is Morrow, the only other in game person who was a victim as the Violet Orphanage (aside from Isabella and Silvina).
Tumblr media
They were kept there in different periods of time, but it’s obviously not a coincidence that they’re the only ones who share this design motif.
These are the Signature Item descriptions for both Morrow and Scarlet ⬇️⬇️
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Both for controlling dark magic! However, the origin of Scarlet’s item says that it was formed during her destruction of the Violet Orphanage. Also the gold armour is on Morrow’s arms and not his book. Scarlet is the same, she’s got it on her shoulder guard, but not the stabilizer. My theory is that it’s either 1. A material they used in the orphanage to conduct experiments on the kids using dark magic, and they both now use to to chanel their own magic and cast spells. 2. It’s a normal kind of metal, but the red shading comes from use of dark magic. That would explain why both of their armour has it.
Either way, it’s a very cool detail! :) other things I’ve noticed are:
Her attacks have the possibility of hitting allied heros. I interpret it as her magic still being unstable and hard to control. She’s got her sanity and magic under control, but not completely.
There’s no clear distinction between “dark magic” and “hypogean magic” so it’s possible she controls some variation of void realm arcanum, or a hypogean cursed her bloodline and she now channels its energy instead of suffering from it.
She looks considerably older than Isabella. Makes sense considering the timeline, but makes me a lil sad.
Anyways, that’s the end of this long ass post. Hopefully more to come in the future (if I remember)
Til next time 🫣🫣

Promises to Keep (Sneak Peek)
I'd like to put more words down before posting on AO3 for this new little fic. Yeah, lol, another pokemon fic. This one Sword/Shield into Scarlet/Violet.
Still workshopping some stuff and I'll hopefully finish a few other stories before posting, but we'll see. I'm terrible at keeping plot bunnies to myself.
Warnings: Pokemon violence against a child, blood, mentions of divorce and infidelity.
Feolette (Ten, Female): pronounced Fee-oh-let
Kladenet (Sixteen, Male): Kla-de-net
Word count: 1,667
Tumblr media
Klad smiled as he pitched the tent just outside of Wyndon, certain that he’d be able to see the city itself if he traveled up the steep hill. But it was late and, frankly, they’d traveled quite fast as the reportedly weak blizzard began to pick up. He still had plenty of time to make it to the gym and register for the finals.
Ocara, his steadfast inteleon lingered near the cooking fire, not overly fond of the weather but keeping an eye out anyway. Slick, his low amp toxitricity ambling in the snow in feigned boredom near his sister. Madam, ever watchful hattrene she was, assisting in building a snowman fondly. Tweety preened her feathers with a regal menace only a corviknight could manage as snowflakes dusted her back.
His sister, Feolette, laughed. Bundled in a warm winter coat, bright red against the white snow. Fuzzy hat pulled over her long silvery hair. Tan skin flush from the cold as she sought Madam’s approval—not that she was ever denied by any of his pokemon.
Truth be told, Klad… honestly resented her going with him at first. This was supposed to be his journey. Finally striking out from Postwick to see what he was made of. Not having his ten year old little sister following behind him. But given the frigid ass household they had left behind, he quickly set aside those feelings.
Their mom was trying hard enough to hold it together in the wake of her pending divorce. Klad’s exciting adventure would always be tainted by that—but at least now he’s gotten to share it all with his little Feo. It made the journey less… lonely. Constantly butting heads against Bede and Hop’s internal crisis. Whatever the hell was going on with Hammerlocke. With his sister, Klad had to be mindful of how hard he pushed himself on his journey. Resting often and letting his pokemon explore.
He could honestly say he wouldn’t be half as impressive if it hadn’t been for these unexpected detours. Taking both of their minds off of their dad.
His affair.
Total disconnect that had been growing for years now.
Klad huffed, turning back to his curry. One good meal and bonding before they braved the city and the constant eyes. Settle both of their nerves. And older lady pitched a tent nearby but she had turned in already, offering him her sides she ‘simply couldn’t possibly finish before they went to waste’. Her eyes lingering with fond delight over his little sister.
She knew who they were. Impossible not to given how he’d charged through every last gym with his own little shadow cheering him on. He never let her out of his sight without one of his pokemon to escort her around. Just to be safe, though she always had her rotom phone.
The wind picked up, sending a flurry of snow into his curry as he let it simmer just a little bit longer. The blizzard was mostly to the south of them, but the food would be ready in time for them to turn in for the night, warm and safe in the tent from the natural elements. His team would appreciate the meal before the finals too—
And then heard Feolette scream.
--*--
Gillian huffed, pulling her jacket closer. She’d dragged Cam out here to see if they could get some B-Roll and perhaps catch a few hopeful challengers on the way to Wyndon. But she underestimated how cold it would get as the blizzard rolled in. Still, it provided some lovely scenic shots to set the mood for any interviews. She settled on getting one last shot of the Wyndon glowing in the fading light before calling it a day. The top of the last hill a perfect vantage point.
Cam cursed, tugging on his gloves before steadying the camera on his shoulder and slowly panning across the horizon. Breath puffing out in thick, white clouds as he turned to the path behind them, down the steep slope where a few people slowly made their way to the city and out of the blizzard. A couple of tents visible by their lamplight despite the billowing snow.
“Oh, Gills, I think I see that kid! You know, uh, Kladenet? The one with a little sister traveling with him?” Cam called out softly. “Heh, looks like they’re bunkering down for the night—mmm, curry. Looks good.” He mused distractedly. Gillian smacked his shoulder.
“Then we’ll have to be out here first thing tomorrow to catch them before they get to Wyndon. It’ll be impossible to do an interview in the city with all the hype that kid’s been getting.” Gilliam noted, quite pleased. “That other kid—Champion Leon’s brother, Hop? He should be nearby too. They’ve been pretty close—ah, Miss Marnie too, though interviewing her is out of the question. Piers had her sign exclusives ahead of time.” It was a bit of a bummer, considering how all three—pardon, four—seemed to be close. Kladenet and Hop were understandable. They were practically neighbors. But Miss Marnie was a shock, the girl a bit standoffish and Team Yell… a very good deterrent for unwanted attention.
“Wait… is that?” Cam breathed out in horror. Gillian leaned over to see the preview screen as he looked through the viewfinder.
Her heart stopped as a fucking massive shape cut through the snowy sky. Swooping down with fury and landing right on top of a small, red shape. The camera lens struggling to focus as a child’s scream cut through the twilight sky.
“SHIT! CALL AN AMBULANCE!” Gillian shrieked, trembling as her rotom phone obediently dialed the number.
“Wyndon Emergency line, how may I—”
“A wild corviknight just attacked a kid—just outside of Wyndon. She’s going to need immediate assistance! O-Oh, Arceus—” Gillian watched through the shaking camera lens as the poor girl was given a brief reprieve, the corviknight lifting just enough for her to turn over.
It happened so fast—a feral pokemon cry ringing over the distance as the little girl sobbed, trying to protect herself. A thick, vicious burst of water slamming into the shiny corviknight as a noticeably smaller corviknight shoved it further back with sharp claws. Blood spraying across the snow from dirtied talons. The young man—just a boy aiming to be champion—ran over and pulled the flailing child to his chest. His voice all but lost to the wind, though the tone of worry carried regardless.
“Emergency services are on their way—is the wild pokemon being taken care of?” the alert service worker informed Gillian. Cam wrenched his camera away from the heartbreaking scene and watched as an entire champion-ready team harried the vicious bird pokemon. No escape in sight, nor mercy to be found.
“Y-Yeah… S-She’s sustained some sort of injury, we’re too far away to see what exactly, but she’s definitely losing a lot of blood.” Gillian turned towards the city and saw a specialty craft ambulance flying their way. Desperate, she waved towards them and signaled down the hill.
Trembling and feeling sick, she watched as they loaded the poor girl onto the cab, a lady from the other tent waving the boy away as he retrieved his victorious team and clambered in to join his sister.
All that was left was an overturned pot of curry, a weather safe tent for two, and a smear of blood in the snow. Splashed across the white and making Gillian feel… dirty.
“…Keep the footage for the police report. But only the police report.” Gillian whispered, shivering as Cam wrapped his arm around her shoulder. They both trembled. After a long moment, several adults who happened to be nearby cleaning up the sight for Kladenet’s return, they turned around to return to Wyndon city. Where they promptly gave their eye witness testimony to the chief officer Jenny.
She looked as disturbed as they were.
A shot of the pokemon was carefully edited to remove any trace of the girl, Feolette, and handed to the authorities to look into.
The area was a bit rough, high level pokemon quite common, but never had Gillian seen one go after someone like that. Especially one so big. It had scars all over, grooves deep in it’s steel body.
Unusually aggressive even for corviknights, it would need to be tracked and brought in for research. To ensure this was a quirk of the pokemon—to be so vicious—and not an underlying issue in the area.
“Thank you for bringing this in… as difficult as it must have been to witness it like that. Will you be seeking quotes to report on the incident?” Gillian hesitated.
People needed to know of the danger…
But the idea of breaking the news before even the kid’s parents could hear about it… and it wasn’t like she had any right or relationship to break that before Kladenet could.
“Sort of. I’ll keep the details vague. But people should be on the lookout for that pokemon.” Gillian finally relented. “At the very least, I’ll withhold anything more in depth until after the finals. No one is going to be listening to anything but that… and that poor kid… he doesn’t need people asking about his sister in the middle of his matches.” Gillian sighed, picturing it already. Less reputable reporters would chomp at the bit to have even a clip of him reacting to such questions.
Chief officer Jenny nodded, relieved and approving.
“Good call. Assuming he doesn’t drop out entirely.”
Gillian hadn’t thought about that.
She likely would under the circumstances.
But to come so far… and those pokemon. Yikes.
They’ll probably appreciate the opportunity to vent against strong opponents.
Either way, Gillian wouldn’t blame Kladenet one bit. Just goes to show that even champion-ready trainers need to keep an eye out for danger.
She just hoped it wasn’t the kid’s sister that paid the price for that lesson.
