Savanahclaw Snake

I wanted to re-draw an old art piece I made last year, and honestly I think I improved after practicing for a while? I'm not sure, but I like the result! She's a first year in the Savanahclaw Dorm and attending Night Raven College in this verse!

Soldan let out a quiet hiss, a faint flush of violet across slightly visible. She had to muster up something, composing herself to feel more determined. Muttering softly, fins lowered a bit to the neck. "Hey Jack, Can I talk to you for a minute? I've been thinking about ssomething lately, it'ss been in the back of my mind for much too long."

A concerned look came strongly visible, Soldan didn't even blink once during the few minutes that passed while she thought it over. "That ain't true! You aren't!" hands on her hips, fins halfway flared open. "I find your company nice to be around, and I could keep going on from there!"

I've been interacting quite a bit with Sunny (ment. @suniside-crossing) and I honestly got super inspired by our threads to do her full uniform. I'm not great the in game art style, but I tried my best here. :D She's a first year, and loves being in this dorm!

Overblot! Soldan

I haven't done a lot of anything with her in this state, amd I hope I do one day. Let me know via Tumblr IMs if interested! Another revisit, and there's information under the cut for more context!

Cause of Overblot: Repressed rage, Grief, Self Loathing, Intrusive thoughts. Fight phases: Two

Phase one: Holding back to cause harm to anyone, even though it's a struggle. Only lashes out as a warning if too close without warning.

Phase two: Highly defensive attacks. Unpredictable when striking, only using her shadow magic that's mildly unstable in this form.

Attack, Void Cataclysm: A spiral of shadows emerges from under her body, sending a wave to push back anyone. The only opening to go in is a five minute cool down period. The wave resembles water, but only on the edges. Calming down methods:

Do not attack, Soldan will think it's a threat.

Reassure that everything is okay, and nothing is out to harm her.

Talk in a calming, soft voice. Nerves will slowly settle down.

Might allow petting to avoid lashing out, avoid the teeth, fangs and tail end.

Soldan will go into hiding once back to normal, being angry scares her badly. Don't approach too fast, coax out slowly. Will accept anybody she trusts to lean on while quietly holding back crying. Might pass out from being exhausted.

Soldan stared at the egg, gently picking it up. "I ought to head back to the Savanahclaw Dorm, but I ain't leavin' you behind! You need to warm up, or...ssomethin' like that." Putting it back in the basket, heading out with a strong sense of confidence.

She paused, her pupils going thin and almost forgetting how to think for a moment. "W-wha? I guess I'll try to explain it. It'ss just the first five that get kisses from me, sso far I only got one." Soldan sheepishly, glanced away. "It'ss normal, honestly."

Soldan stared, soon kneeling down to get a better look. A little more then puzzled, a quiet hiss coming out. "Huh, what're you chewin' on? Hopefully nothing too dangerouss. You're a cute lil' guy though!"

"Hm?" Soldan glanced over, stopping in her tracks. "Do you need me for anything?" her head gave a small tilt to one side, still very curious. "If you do, I'd be happy to keep you company."

"I'm pretty ssure my uniform iss fine, I jusst find the vest a little uncomfortable and I do a lot of moving around." Soldan gave an annoyed sigh, arms folded tightly. "I'm not too worried about it, to be honesst. I have the school uniform in my closet, for a backup."

Soldan waited patiently, arms crossed tightly and fingers tapping a few times. Her fins gave a small flick or two, having just finished a long jog early in the morning. "If I have to tolerate the punss today, I'll jusst...have to endure it." she muttered, not too impressed thinking about it. Adjusting her gloves a bit, fingerless as usual fashion.

A heavy shade of violet was visible in seconds, Soldan took at least a minute to process what was happening. Starting to relax, giving into the kiss and accepting it. Smiling happily, a low purring hiss rumbled out softly. A sign she only gives when completely comfortable, and proudly expressing it.
