WHEELS OF HELLFIRE -- THE POWER OF SATAN -- THE DARKER FORCES OF THE MARVEL UNIVERSE.
NOTE: The Celestials CREATED Ghost Rider. Not Satan. Not the Devil. Not Mephisto. Not black magic -- IT WAS THE CELESTIALS!
PIC INFO: Spotlight on Johnny Blaze as the original Ghost Rider, plus the Hellstrom children, Daimon Hellstrom, a.k.a., the "Son of Satan," and Satana Hellstrom, plus the original double page spread, from "PARADISE X" Vol. 1 #9. May, 2003. Marvel Comics.
Pencils Doug Braithwaite
Inks by Bill Reinhold
Colors by Pete Pantazis
"Johnny Blaze blamed himself for the deaths of everyone he ever loved…and unknowingly triggered his own dormant Celestial seed with his fumbling dabblings in magic.
His guilt over everyone he cared for dying on a bike of flames caused a transfomation he believed was supernatural in design, not biological.
The Ghost Rider was born, not because Mephisto's curse was interrupted, but because Johnny Blaze felt guilty, and believed he should spend the rest of his existence strapped to a burning bike."
-- MACHINE MAN (X-51) to DEATHLOK (story/script by Jim Krueger & Alex Ross)

We learn that one of the people brought out of hell and placed into a new body is actually Satana, and she thanks her savior with a kiss, sending him into hell himself.

I don't know how Daimon Hellstrom's mom couldn't know her husband was Satan. Her kids were named Daimon and Satana. Satana! Unless you're a Satanist, what name is that for a baby!? I mean, wow. Victoria Hellstrom must have been pretty oblivious to not know something was up with her family. There's a level of stunning ignorance there that i just have to respect.
And maybe satana wasn't actually her daughter's name. Maybe it's a name she took later. But the comics i've read make no mention of that, and now i just have to think of the stunning obliviousness of not knowing your husband is Satan, when your daughter is named Satana! I mean...it's hilarious.

So what you’re saying is since the success of “Werewolf By Night”…
Tumblr media
Marvel is at its best when it does Horror.
Tumblr media
And should have its own “Universal Studios Monsters” type universe.

Note
You know, with the existence of characters like Loopy Goopty and Charlie mentioning downfallen superheroes in Hell in the Pilot, i now just imagine a universe where Charlie goes to to Earth and accidentally ends up becoming a superhero.
Like Satana?
