Tenten é enviada para servir como conselheira do Kazekage, Sasori, o homem que deixou cicatrizes profundas em sua alma. Ele, sempre racional e indiferente aos sentimentos, começa a questionar suas próprias convicções ao reviver momentos quase esquecidos. Já Tenten, ainda marcada por mágoas antigas, se vê forçada a confrontar o passado e suas emoções enquanto trabalha ao lado dele. Em um cenário de desconfiança e alianças frágeis, os dois caminham na linha tênue entre o dever e as cicatrizes de um amor que talvez nunca tenha tido a chance de florescer.

My NOTP for them: Mm... Gaara. (I've seen them shipped and it makes me uncomfortable. Same goes for the other Sand Sibs.)

My BROTP for them: Deidara and Sakura.

My OTP for them: I don't really ship Sasori with anyone in canon, because he's one of those characters that... basically had his emotions surgically removed, and even when he's still human, I imagine him as ace (though not aro). Otherwise, Deidara.

My second choice pairing for them: Sakura.

My fluffy pairing for them: I've been thinking about this for a good three minutes and I honestly have no clue.

Tenten groaned deeply while Sakura just looked thrilled.

"Imagine!" The medical ninja practically gushed, looking starry eyed. "They could be arguing about you right now and you wouldn't even know it!"

The weapons mistress tried to squash the want to openly roll her eyes, making her hold her teacup a little firmer than really needed.

"I'm pretty sure Sasori and Kankuro have more important things to do with their time than argue over me."

"See!" Ino jumped in then, grinning hard. "You even immediately know who she's talking about!"

Tenten's anger turned to the blonde then, looking at her like she was an idiot.

"We only know two puppet masters to begin with! You're both crazy anyway, don't make problems were none exist."

Tenten's gaze flicked down before meeting his eyes again.

"You attach those chakra strings to me and we're going to have a problem."

The weapons user fully expected him to retract his graze, remake a fist, to hide away, but his fingers only extended fully, his fingertips even started to glow blue with the show of him pushing chakra into them.

"I mean it Sasori," her teeth grit in defiance. "I am not one of your puppets."

"What interesting wording Weapons Mistress and I quite agree," the red head replied unmoved, his blue tinted fingertips still running up her arm. "You are not one of my puppets; yet."
