An Idealist View of Life An Idealist View of Life by S. Radhakrishnan was initially published in 1932. It features the so-called Hibbert Lectures given under the title An Idealist View of Life at the University of Manchester in December 1929 and in the University College, London, in January 1930, substantially as they were delivered, but with some added passages. In 1952 Dr. Radhakrishnan was chosen as Vice President of the Republic of India. Radhakrishnan was nominated for the Nobel Prize for Literature for five consecutive years from 1933–1937, although he did not win. His nominator was Hjalmar Hammarskjöld, father of Dag Hammarskjöld. On Teachers ‘day, Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute hosted the Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Felicitation ceremony & cultural evening.
We honored over 200 teachers & Principals from different schools of UP west with a shawl & memento for commendable work in education.
DR VPS Arora, who worked with former President Dr. Kalam, received a lifetime achievement award.
Dr VPS Arora is the chief Advisor of Venkateshwara Group and was formerly VC of Kumao University in Uttarakhand.
The CG & MLA Dr Hari Singh, Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi & the BJYM President Shubham Chaudhary inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.
Dr. Yatindra Kataria, CEO, Mr. Ajay Shrivastava, and VC, Dr. Rakesh Yadav, attended the Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Felicitation ceremony and cultural evening’s inauguration.
On this occasion, the students presented an enthralling cultural program as a mark of respect for their educators. Meerut’s Rajiv Singh, or Junior Sunny Deol, mesmerized the audience with his mimicry skills.  
Dr HS Dhillon said India is a developed nation because of its talented youth and the credit goes to the teachers who nurtured them.
The Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated through quality education and global exposure, India has become a world leader.
Maximum Indian teachers are teaching at some of the best institutions globally, according to the Pro Chancellor Dr. Rajiv Tyagi.
Dr. Yatindra Kataria, an educator and historian, stated that Dr. S. Radhakrishnan preferred to be called a teacher rather than a President, emphasizing the significance of teachers in society.
Present at the event were Mr. RS Sharma, Dr. Piyush Pandey, Dr. Sanjiv Bhatt, Dr. Atul Verma, Dr. IB Raju, Dr. CP Kushwaha, and Mr. LS Rawat.

A powerful seminar on the subject of “What Are the Issues in Publishing and Translating Books” was held during 10th Global Literary Festival Noida 2024, gathering notable personalities from the fields of literature, publishing, and government. The seminar was led by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Festival President & Chancellor of AAFT University of Media & Arts, who provided deep insights into the challenges faced by the publishing and translation sectors.
Ruchi Sharma Kapoor, a renowned poet, shared her perspective on the subject, followed by Anil Varma, a well-known publisher from Star Publication & Hindi Book Centre, who spoke about the practical difficulties in book publishing. Noted writer/director Vivek Sharma also added valuable thoughts, while acclaimed author Vivek Mishra expressed his views on the intricacies of translation.
Raghubir Sharma, Assistant Director of the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, provided a comprehensive summary of the seminar. Prominent columnist and journalist Bharathi S Pradhan, from Mumbai, shared her experience in the field, while Shri Jagannath Sarkar, Member of the Lok Sabha, graced the event and blessed the participants. In recognition of his contribution, Shri Sarkar was honored with life membership of the prestigious International Film & Television Club.
