I’ve seen a decent amount of people say that Your Sky is a 2gether rewrite and for awhile I didn’t really see it but now I am kinda seeing it and I think I know what tripped me up about it. It’s the difference between Green and Oh.

Now ignoring the treatment of Green as a character cause that’s a whole separate issue, i think I struggled with the comparison of the shows because the level of danger presented between Green and Oh is totally different.

Green was only ever shown as an annoyance while Oh felt dangerous even before he purposefully got Rak drunk. Which interestingly in 2gether Green never tried to get Tine drunk but Sarawat and his friends did which funnily enough included Mike (this is not a dig at Mike please don’t kill me I had just forgotten he was in it and thought it was funny he was in both).

The level of discomfort Rak has around Oh is so different to Tine and Green. None of Tine’s friends seemed worried about Green whereas all of Rak’s friends hate Oh.

sometimes i just laugh by myself thinking about how sarawat pretended to tune a guitar for two hours — something any skilled player like himself would do in minutes — just because he wanted to spend time with tine but didn’t want to say it.

The thing i loved the most about 2gether is how tine and sarawat weren't smooching every 3 minutes...they actually went through the whole falling in love part and afterwards their life was filled with warm homey moments that made the romance more gentle and REALISTIC which is absent from most lgbt dramas

2gether the movie (2021)

The legendary BrightWin, whose names received global attention during the pandemic because of the series titled 2gether. Bright and Win captured the hearts of the audiences with their undeniable charisma and stunning visuals. Because of the popularity of the series, it had a second season "Still 2gether" and a film "2gether the movie".

The plot of the movie begins with the co-living life of the main characters, Tine (Win Metawin Opas-iamkajorn) and Sarawat (Bright Vachirawit Chivaaree). As they prepare for their graduation, the two reminisced their love story, which began on their freshman year. Tine remembered his journey in getting rid of Green. From asking Sarawat to be his fake boyfriend to jealousy and discovering their real feelings, the movie was full of scenes coming from the series.

Tine and Sarawat were involved in two female characters, Pear and Earn. However, this did not stop them from following what their hearts truly desire. On the other hand, Sarawat revealed that he has been long in-love with Tine. It started during a high school concert, where Sarawat had love at first sight. He did not know the name of Tine or where is he from, but destiny lead their hearts 2gether to beat as one.

Though Win and Bright are no longer active in the Boys' Love scene, they remain as influential actors of Thailand. They have been invited globally to perform and act and their fanbases are still hoping for another BL content from them.

that one scene in the second episode where sarawat & tine were hiding in the locker really had me assuming that green would find them inside together & question what they were doing and it'd automatically make him suspect that there was something going on between them & form the base of their fake dating but I guess that would have been too predictable & green's reaction to sarawat stepping out yawning and pretending he was sleeping inside was pretty hilarious
