thhtis might just be a big pet peeve to me but i hate when people write kjsr as someone cold or possessive, i always viewed her character as someone who is actually so soft when it comes to love. i cant see her saying anything awful with intention to her s/o and just prob cherishes each moment and intimacy.

yeah, sara is the victim of some INSANE mischaracterisation... i was informed that some people thought of sara as a karen, of all fucking things, and the psychic damage i took from that statement was unfathomable. it was so horrendously insulting i had to put my phone down and breathe for a solid minute, because sara? being a karen? the peak of entitlement? be so fr. sara struggles to even accept her place within the kujou clan, despite being its golden child. she doesn't know how to be entitled to even love, let alone anything else.

there is a quote, i forget by who, which goes "(s)he had the awkward tenderness of someone who has never been loved, and is forced to improvise", and i think it describes her so well. sara was raised to be takayuki's perfect weapon first, and a person second. for sara, to be a 'kujou' is to be the untouchable general, the prodigal child, the crowfeather kaburaya which heralds nothing but victory for the kujou clan. her place in her 'family' is intrinsically tied to what she can give to them, not who she is as a person. her image of her own worth is so entangled with being needed that she doesn't know how to be anything else. she explicitly states that she has never given any thought to her personal aspirations. never. that's so insane and heartbreaking to me like... my love, you are more than what you can give. so i agree with you on the part that sara would be so, so tender when it comes to love. this is uncharted territory, and she's learning as she goes, but you could never be unloved by her. she knows what that's like, and she could never hurt you the same way.

anyway, live laugh love kujou sara. i've been in the kjsr camp for 3 fucking years and i'll continue to be here until the day i die

Just Dance S/I

My first Just Dance self insert!

This is Lyric Songbird, real name Maddox Sullivan!

He is a dancer and guitarist, and one of Sara's best friends on Earth! He is known to be a bit overzealous and sharp-tongued, but is also prideful, honest, and watchful!

Growing up, he was never in the best situation. He was an orphan and never met any of his family, he always had to fight for himself, and due to his ADHD, he was prone to injury, remorse, and regret.

At some point, he met Sara, a young girl who took him into her home, and her family raised them as their son. It is then that Lyric and Sarah established an unbreakable sibling bond.

A few years later, Lyric noticed Sara had been missing for quite sometime... When he looks at his TV, Wanderlust appears and passes Discoball to him through the television screen. However, upon receiving her, Discoball reveals themselves to be corrupted and Wanderlust was actually an illusion by Night Swan to lure him in, and she drags Lyric into the game.

There was no denying it now. Here Night Swan stood in front of him, smiling and laughing maliciously, as her plan to turn the Danceverses perfect is nearly accomplished... She already has the Just Dancers under her control, so why not add one more?

Lyric knew he couldn't let himself be captured, not like this, not by her. He had to get out of this. So he engages in a dance battle. He always seemed so active when he danced otherwise, but here he feels very robotic and brainwashed, almost stilted, as if Night Swan's corruption is already effecting him...

By the end of the song, he jumps off the platform, and into the abyss below, not caring if he got corrupted... All he knows is that no matter what, he has to stop this strange bird lady...

Will Lyric get out of this alive? Can he save the Just Dancers? Or will he just become another Swan Soldier?

This strange, unstable space does not necessarily bode well for what I might encounter; it shifts and wavers at the edges, ever so slightly smudged around the corners in the way of dreams. The fact that I appear to be lucid, as do my companions, is intriguing. For a moment I wonder if someone has gotten their hands on Siraj's technology and adjusted it to keep the members of its hivemind in a dream similar to the events of the Sabzeruz Festival, only with each member granted some agency so as to keep them from suspecting the truth. It's a thought worth merit and one I ought not to forget while here. This place, however, also bears resemblance to the domains I've encountered before... I must gather more information. My companions are an eclectic bunch, consisting of a Fontainian-style magician, a pale-haired high-ranking Millelith(?), a Shongunate tengu general, and a sparkling young mistress. The last catches my eye, what with her cranial wings and budding golden halo, unlike any species I have seen or read. I'll need to interview her for research purposes should we get a free moment and she oblige.

Across from us sit a pack of slimes and a couple of hilichurls. Weaker opponents, and depending on the capability of the others, easy enough to take down. As each person makes an introduction and an attack, I take note of the skills and the clear competence displayed: some of these people are evidently experienced in war—ah, that man is not in fact a Millelith. I've never heard of a "Xianzhou Luofu" or Cloud Knights, but the way he swings his glaive, and the sheer power in his attacks... okay, there has to be a logical reason why I'm thinking of adepti all of a sudden. Hmm. Oh, he has a spirit like Cyno, although unlike Cyno the spirit appears separate from this Jing Yuan's body and takes up almost the entire room. Well, then. If this man really does exist in real life, they need to meet. The General Mahamatra's reactions to him should be very enlightening.

"Alhaitham, scribe of the Sumeru Akademiya," I offer before launching into my own offensive. Dendro energy blossoms out of me and into my surroundings as I fight, fruiting into cores and zipping across the battlefield with the assistance of my prismatic mirrors. Although this results in me getting myself zapped thanks to the Electro charging the air, I still feel satisfied at my initiative (and at least one of the slimes is gone now, so. There is that). The magician takes advantage of the numerous Dendro Cores and sets them exploding in the monsters' faces to gratifying effect, with Jing-jiāngjūn mopping up the remaining resistance. Of course, things can't end that swiftly, and while Ms. Robin dispenses with praise, several bulky machines enter the battle chamber. They share few, if any, similarities to the constructs I know, a bit more akin to the images of Gardemeks I've seen before. This battle should prove to be a little more difficult, but I suspect that we have this well in hand based on everyone's previous performance, as the singer maintained.

(I can't tell what element she's using, if any. It's none of the seven I'm familiar with.)

"Let's deal with these constructs first, then we can think about watching each other's performances. I'll need your Electro, Kujou-san, Jing-jiāngjūn, and your Pyro, Monsieur Lyney."

Soon, the pale-haired General is calling for me to finish the battle. I meet Ms. Robin's eyes and nod at her; with her coordinating her attacks to follow on the others', I would be wise to make use of her services. "On it."

Unfamiliar as these are, they still Burn the same way, my Dendro reacting to the heat and sparks M. Lyney's left behind to set them on fire. I wrinkle my nose at the acrid scent of scorched metal and mechanisms—hopefully none of these materials give off toxic fumes when incinerated, or else the five of us will be in a world of hurt. The smaller machine, looking like a hand on wheels, explodes after being struck through with my particular field, though fortunately the shrapnel misses our party. All that's left is the bipedal construct, and I manage to whittle it down to barely-functioning scrap. "If you would, Ms. Robin."

The songstress sends the mecha toppling over, sparking and dead. I turn and nod to each of my four companions; we appear to have been well-partnered, and the synergy within our group is clear even if some of us have never met before. "Good work, everyone. We make an effective team."

Noel on Sara in 2003:

Idk but to me he seems to have done some major transfer from his relationship with Liam to Sara around the time they fell apart in early 00. It's literally how he used to talk about Liam, he wanted to hurt him (back I know) so bad. Or maybe « teach him a lesson » as he puts it.

In the same interview the journalist view on Noel btw :

"Poor Noel. There he is, joined at the hip in sibling rivalry-cum-dependence-cum-love, struggling with demons he'd rather not confront, and unable to write words to the 20-odd melodies and arrangements he's got ready. He can't write because he won't write for himself - he wants to write for Oasis, and Oasis, for him, means writing for Liam. And Noel who implied he stopped writing from the heart during this period :

And they were good songs - like "Live Forever", "Slide Away", "Rock 'n' Roll Star". And at that point I was really livin' it - you know, we were in the back of a transit van, goin' up and down motorways, and we were being a proper, working band. And I think that's probably why people hold that album up as the one - and probably why I do - because I meant every word I was writing. I did want to live forever, and I did want to be a rock 'n' roll star. All those lyrics are fantastic because they're honest. Whereas now it's like private jets, good hotels, nice restaurants, da da da. You become more insulated so you make stuff up, and it becomes more abstract. Less personal.'

Like, he conveniently completely eclipses he meant every word of Slide Away.

There have, notoriously, been numerous Oasis implosions since, and Noel has walked out while on tour more than once. 'Yes, well, technically we've broken up quite a lot, but it's never felt like that. Because the band's too important to me - it's what I do. At 35, now, to leave Oasis would be like getting a new girlfriend - it's like I couldn't be arsed, dating. Another band - rehearsals would be like going out for dinner, getting to know people. I can't be bothered to do that. Because the best gig in the world is being me, in Oasis. Because you get to do backing vocals and you get to give a bit of lip between the songs [in Brighton, for instance, in December, wishing that some of the audience die of hypothermia], and I get to sing the two biggest songs of the night, 'Don't Look Back in Anger' and 'Wonderwall'. So I think I'll stick with what I know, thank you very much.'

hello my love, i thought about smth and you have been on a kujou sara spree recently so i would like to know how quickly would you both start referring to each other with sweet names? before even being together, does it start with formal names and then the very slow but sweet casual name calling? i’m so sorry if this has been asked before or if you’ve written smth similar to this T_T

!!!! when i tell u i’ve been marinating this idea for so long… truly the relationship timeline can be seen in the names we call each other. (assuming sevchisara timeline) ofc, things start with maximum politeness. “lord kujou,” and “general,” is what i would refer to her as, and she would use “lady” with my last name. this is how it remains in formal settings. in private, once we get closer, it’d be last names without titles. i’d be the one to offer her my given name first, and she’d be a little shy about using it because afaik that’s quite personal in japanese/inazuman culture. after a while and kind of getting used to it does she feel comfortable enough to offer her own given name. the first time we both address each other by given names sara turns bright red. as for pet names, that takes more time and by that point she’s already integrated into the dynamic. i’d call her “lovebird” (“songbird” during sex ;) ehe) and ofc other classics like “sweetheart,”, “dear,” and “darling”. as for her, she sticks to classics like “dearest,” and “my love”.

entering heavy sevchisara territory that no one asked for but between arle and sara the progression is mostly the same at the start. once they start warming up to each other, arle likes to use nicknames in fontainian/french just to mess with sara. arle calls her “petit corbeau” (little raven) and sara gets a funny look on her face because it sounds like something nice (?) but she has no idea what it means. i would probably splice corbeau into just “beau”, referring to her as “mon beau” in a teasingly affectionate way. sara would probably find it a little awkward to call arle any sort of pet name at the start, mostly sticking with arle’s name, though she’d probably accidentally let a “dear” slip after using it so often with me. but uniquely i think that sara calling arle by her real name, peruere, is the most intimate. it would take a loooong time but when they reach that point it’s definitely a relationship milestone. also arle definitely preens whenever sara keens it so prettily while they [REDACTED]. thank u for the ask darling <333
