oh my god. thank you for this ask (i was at work when i first saw it or i would have answered this sooner but ANYWAY)

this is Fenn, my warlock and canonically my young wolf. she's a 5' gremlin with a fascination with golden age history/tech, a knack for crafting particularly deadly weapons, and has been quietly beefing with Mara Sov since they first met. she is obviously pretty handy with all the elemental types, but has a particular preference and knack for Arc. also she's dogshit at parkour

her lore weapons are Ace of Spades, Hawkmoon, Riskrunner, and Xenophage. no its not an ideal layout. and Xeno is the only one of these i use in-game as a staple but she tends to favor guns with sentimental value over how useful they actually are, save for Xeno

also this is her favorite passtime

This is Lorna Zoras, she's my hunter and a member of Fenn's fireteam. She's been around for a while, wayyy before Red War; which is when Lorna lost her original fireteam; which caused her to sort of close off and become kind of grumpy. she cares a lot though; and is the team mom friend. She is also very ride or die and one of the first people to throw down if anyone comes for her fireteam.

I don't have a canon loadout for her yet, but as a hunter I personally think she'd have a similar though not the same gun as ace, as sort of an omage to the fallen vanguard. They were friends, though not as close as Fenn was.

She's void/solar most of the time, depending on mood mostly. She used to be a typical hunter(tm) when it came to shenanigans, but the loss of her fireteam kind of put an end to that. Though her time with miss young wolf has lent to some absolute shenanigans.

Also her ghost's name is Magnus, as a little joak to myself.

This is my titan, Saph Vinn. I actually don't have a ton for Saph yet. I tend to have to play a character to start the flow of building the oc, but I do have some things. She's the other member of the fireteam and "youngest" of the three, having been risen sometime during the shadowkeep era; and while she's efficient and good at what she does, she's sort of struggling to find her identity as a guardian; something made a little more difficult by the fact that she's sort of in Fenn's shadow.

if these three were a dnd party, she'd be the normal one (TM), IE the one with a happy backstory and loving family. She's the sunshine of the trio, and while she's seen her fair share, she's very upbeat and hard to faze.

I think the reason Vin is a good dad is because he doesn’t push. He also doesn’t treat saph like a child, he treats her like a person. Idk it’s just really sweet seeing how he helps her and listens.

he's super aware that Sapph is her own person and he tries his best to teach her about the world but he likes to let her come to her own opinions and he doesn't really talk over her? he was raised by parents who would alternate pretty dramatically between borderline neglecting him and then being super overbearing without care for his own feelings so he's trying to not be like them i suppose

Vinny joins the school partway through the first highschool year, like a quarter in? He leaves his old private-ish school cause he does not fit there At All (plus because of a falling out with a… "Friend"? He doesnt call her a friend anymore :/) The new school makes him MUCH happier, which is a relief to his parents. Corey just moved towns entirely, from abroad actually (though he never mentions that). He joins just a week after Ire does! (would have been the same time but he had a week for moving his stuff into his new place) He is. A little bit of a weeb for sure. Decided that once I realised he was basically an anime chibi by design and also that his voiceclaim is Len Kagamine the vocaloid oops defrgthydfgh

Corey does ok academically, though mainly shines in after school stuff! He plays violin (his family put him on that early) and does gymnastics! He "doesn't work out" (IE has never been to a gym), but he Does do loads of outside stuff. Walks everywhere he can, rock climbing, he gardens, he's an outdoorsy kinda guy. Unfortunately when he's tired, he has the diet of a kawaii snack tiktoker lmao. He probably takes everyone for boba all the time

I trimmed out the other person since I didn’t ask if they were cool with me posting this but basically this is what’s been up with Sapphire’s registration. The Monday before last, I had the shop order the sealed module, and I’ve gotten up early four different days when it was supposed to be in and ready to be installed, only to find out today after a few calls that oops the place they’re getting the part from had to manufacture it and it should be in tomorrow.

All of this for a fucking check engine light I’m screaming. :]

Oh and the module is $105, installing it is $125, and a new smog check for it to pass will be about $60 so this one stupid LED will have cost me a hair over $400 when it’s all said and done. Just for that light that will probably never come on outside of a second when starting the car.

It’s frustrating but at least I have the money to cover it. And it’s not a repair I can do myself because of the very nature of the sealed module. I’m :]. I’d be so much less annoyed if this was like, to fix something functional.

At least everything else passed. I don’t think it would have when I first got it back, but I’ve been wrenching on it a lot.

The photo I posted earlier with the speedo/tacho in my hand was my morning of pulling things apart looking for the fucking module with the idea of going to pick-n-pull in Modesto and yanking the thing out of the 04 aveo they have there and hoping it fits an 05 and that it works. Which is still my plan tomorrow if they don’t actually receive my part! It won’t have my VIN but I doubt anyone will tear into the dash to check it.

And yeah everything went back together fine lmao. I lost a few screws into the dash but they just hold plastic trim so I don’t care right now. This one piece of plastic trim can deal with three screws in it instead of five, I think it’ll survive.
