No te preocupes por hacer mi voluntad

Hacer la voluntad de Dios: qué fácil es rezar por ello y pedir a Dios que me ayude a cumplirla, pero qué difícil es luego aceptarla y llevarla a termino.

Me he dado cuenta de que todos los días cuando rezo le pido a Dios “ayúdame a aceptar Tu voluntad” o “haz esto si es Tu voluntad” pero luego, cuando Su voluntad se cumple de verdad, y no es como la mía, me molesto.

¿Para qué le pido a Dios algo, si luego no estoy dispuesta a hacerlo? ¿Por qué es tan complicado aceptar Sus planes?

Muchas veces me hago mis ilusiones, mis expectativas, y espero que Dios las cumpla, y me dé exactamente lo que yo quiero. Pero es que el plan de Dios es mucho mejor que el mío y por mucho que no me guste, es lo mejor para mi, por mucho que no sea lo que yo deseo, como yo quiero, cuando yo quiero.

La segunda lectura de ayer lo decía claro: “Pedís y no recibís, porque pedís mal, con la intención de satisfacer vuestras pasiones”. Santiago 4:3

Pienso que rezo bien, que lo hago agradeciendo y estando dispuesta a fiarme de Dios, pero la verdad es que no confío nada en Él, no confío en Su plan, me da miedo fiarme de algo que no veo y que a lo mejor de primera hasta me desagrada. Puede hasta no ser un gran sufrimiento, puede ser solo dar un pequeño paso de fe, pero me cuesta la vida hacer algo que no est�� en mis planes.

La misma lectura, decía: “Donde hay envidia y rivalidad, hay turbulencias y todo tipo de malas acciones. En cambio, la sabiduría que viene de lo alto es, en primer lugar intachable, y además es apacible, comprensiva, conciliadora, llena de misericordia y buenos frutos, imparcial y sincera. El fruto de la justicia se siembra en la paz para quienes trabajan por la paz”. Santiago 3:16-18

Leyéndola me di cuenta de cómo me preocupo por obtener todo lo que quiero, por mis ambiciones, por mis deseos, por mis planes… pero Dios quiere que descanse en Él, que me fíe de Su plan.

El único que puede darme paz es Él.

Por más que intente yo luchar por mis deseos y por mis sueños, siempre voy a estar preocupada y ansiosa por el mañana, por si salen o no, por si lo logro o no. Dios en cambio quiere que yo esté tranquila, que Él Su plan lo va a cumplir, y no tengo yo que estar preocupándome por nada.

Dios va a luchar por mí y va a hacer que se cumpla. Siempre que yo le deje hacerlo. Pero si acepto que Él lo haga, seguramente va a salir bien y va a ser lo mejor para mi vida.

A pesar de saberlo, me sigue costando mucho aceptarlo y fiarme sin ver como lo va a hacer, sin ver como acaba. Pero es lo mejor para mí.

Le pido realmente que me ayude a descansar en Su paz, sabiendo que Su voluntad siempre va a ser lo mejor para mi.
