I can't entirely explain it but there's something that feels very..... "furry" about Hangyodon.

Like a lot of Sanrio characters are anthro animals but Hangyodon is one of the few that legit feels "furry" in nature. Ya know, kinda like Aggretsuko.

I get fish aren't as commonly depicted in furry works and aren't as popular in the fandom but like. This doesn't just feel like a silly fish mascot who happens to have legs like a human. This is a FURRY.
