Moon 162-Leaf-fall

Apparently spending so much time around the kits has grown on Featherspeck (18), because she has announced that she is expecting kits.  Huh.  Wonder who the other parent is.  Chervilcry (141) finds comfort in spending time with the kits.  They remind her of when she was in the nursery with Chasingskip, Sandypaw, and Newtkit.  How she misses them!  She play fights with Brightkit (4) and tries to boost Daisykit’s (3) confidence.  Frostheart (65) and Wormdart (18) continue to clash.  Wormdart scolds her for not using her powers to pin down a bird she missed the other day, and she snaps at him that not everyone is as powerful as he and his sisters.  Wildcave (45) has been feeling a little salty towards Gladepatch (38), since it is basically the Healer’s fault that Wildcave was demoted from deputy.  But after Gladepatch helps him heal, he realizes that he was too harsh in his judgment of him.  Creekstar (16) makes sure to spend a lot of time with Primkit (4).  She understands what it’s like to have such deadly power at her claws and wants to make sure that the young cat understands it but does not fear herself.  It’s not such a bad thing to be dark-cursed.  Rabbitfur (18) loves having a full nursery.  It means that she has a great audience to her preach about morals.  The kits are not as thrilled.  Rustsong (31) and Amethystdapple (89) love having her around-her lectures are a sure way to get the kits to fall asleep!  The Clan also welcomes several new cats: a powerless former kittypet with redcough named Toriel (99) and a powerless abandoned kit named Palekit (2).  Creekstar decides to keep both of them around.  She’s been judged for having powers, so she doesn’t want to judge others for their powers or lack of them.

Mintfur, Sagenose, Snookthorn, and Frecklewish graduate. 

Birdpaw, Sandypaw, and Honeypaw are apprenticed to Waspwhisker, Fireheart, and Echosong. 

Lichenfur returns, and reports what is going on in the main Clans back to Leafstar. Fireheart is overjoyed to hear about his daughters, and misses home. There is discussion about trying to find the new land that the Clans plan to seek out, but SkyClan is still fresh, and unsure about how to belong with the others, or even where to find them.

New Au idea! Or more like a ramble idk, anyways DustPelt! I’ve always felt like he could’ve had such a great character arc, like he loses his mentor at the start of the damn story, gets DarkStripe as a new mentor (I think) which means he has much closer contact with TigerStar AND he’s RavenPaw’s LITTERMATE.

Like, if I ever create my own AU he’s gonna be vastly different. Just a guy who used to be super proud of having the deputy as mentor and then suddenly he dies and this rando kittypet joins in and he doesn’t get why suddenly he is the center of attention. He’s besties with SandyPaw of course and together they get jealous of FirePaw and of how important he is to BlueStar and such. TigerStar, of course, encourages this. When it comes to RavenPaw, DustPaw avoids him to try and look cooler and despite being slightly embarrassed of him he does genuinely love his brother and is secretly worried as to why he’s so scared of his mentor. Because TigerStar could do nothing wrong am I right

And then Fire and Gray show up one day saying RavenPaw was dead. And Dust doesn’t know what to do, he feels guilty for not being there for him and things only get worse when it’s revealed that TigerStar, was, in fact, the horrible cat he is and RavenPaw knew it. Starting a depression arc that only ends when RavenPaw is revealed to not, in fact, be dead.

As for his relationship with FernCloud. It only starts when they’re both adults and she’s the one who pursues him. As an apprentice she only hung out with him so she could train with her brother and DustPelt payed her no attention.

Like, imagine DustPelt going through all this. He’d be a much more memorable character imo and not just Den Man (he’d still be Den Man, but Den Man with personality).

Moon 2 events

Sandykit -> Sandypaw (Healer)

Looking at the crystals in this cave was no mystery to Sandypaw. It never was. Being here was no mistake, either. He knew in his heart that starclan had called the three of them here, and he wanted to learn as much about them as he could. So, when he announced to Fennelpaw and Littlekit that he’d been chosen to be a healer, he was left unsurprised when they both lit up and congratulated him.

Now, of course, he was on a patrol to gather herbs. He needed to get himself together if he wanted to really learn to be a healing spirit. He loved his friends like no other cat, and he wanted to make sure they had herbs and other items. He had the clan’s previous healer guiding his paws, too, so he was certain he could find something.

Unfortunately, he forgot the directions.

Littlekit feels less shocked.

Purring at the warmth of the sun flickering down into their cave from above, Littlekit waved her tail at Sandypaw as the new healer apprentice sulked back into camp. He lit up when he saw her, and jogged over. “Is Fennelpaw back yet?” He asked.

“No. We’re alone still! But that’s fine. Did you find anything?” Littlekit mewed, standing up to headbutt her friend.

“No… How has your day been? I’m sorry we keep leaving you all alone…” Sandykit apologized, though Littlekit thought it was silly.

“It was okay! I played mossball with the bugs. They’re not very good at it, though. Can I come with you next time?”

“No, you can’t… But you know what we can do?” His face lights up mischievously.

“What?” She tilted her head. Sandypaw whispered the plan into her ear, and she nodded, darting away in excitement.

“Littlekit! Sandypaw! I’m back from hunting!” The eldest cat’s voice rang through their camp. “Man, I have a story for you both!” The silence after rang hollow and empty through camp, and he paused in confusion. Where are they?

“Guys?” He asked, confused as he dropped his prey. His fur itched in a few spots from the burrs in there, but that wasn’t important for him now.

“Surprise!” Littlekit squeals, rocketing over the top of the log that sat under the sun-hole. She let out a shriek of fear as she tumbled off of it, and Fennelpaw rushed over in a panic.

“Littlekit! Don’t just do that!” He whined, nosing her over to check for injuries. Once satisfied, he let her push his muzzle away, and stared sternly at her. “Come on, Littlekit. That wasn’t nice. Not after… yeah.”

“Mm… okay. Won’t do it again, promise! It was Sandypaw’s idea, though.”

“Yeah, sorry Fennelpaw… I forgot you guys were in the clan long enough to know the others well…” Sandypaw admitted sheepishly as he poked his head out of the log. The healer apprentice blinked, and then padded over, forcing Fennelpaw to sit. “You’re covered in burrs, man. Sit down, let me help.”

“I can get it myself!” Fennelpaw huffed. Sandypaw shook his head.

“Don’t care. You and I will swap our prey for today, and then you won’t owe me, okay?” He grinned, before plucking a burr from Fennelpaw’s short, messy fur.

“Honestly! I don’t know how you don’t come home like this, your fur’s worse and longer than mine!” Fennelpaw complained.

“I take the time to clean myself, and Littlekit helps me with what I can’t reach.” Sandypaw shrugged, as he removed the last burr.

“Okay. And yeah, I’m cool with swapping prey.”

“Cool, you didn’t have a choice in the first place, ‘cause I like what you brought back better than mine.”

“Can I still have some of what you brought, thenc, Sandypaw? It’s big enough…” Littlekit shifted as she asked.

“Of course.” “Duh!” The boys responded in unison, and laughed.

Littlekit tumbled off of a log.

Sandypaw is playing a prank on Fennelpaw.

Fennelpaw is feeling sassy today.

Littlekit thinks Sandypaw was nice to her today.

Fennelpaw and Sandypaw swap favorite prey.

Sandypaw helps Fennelpaw pick burrs from his coat.

Laurelstar - Leader

“No cat can ever know how much I struggled to mold myself into a respectable leader. Losing Spiderhaze so early on was a tragedy, and every subsequent death strengthened my resolve to protect my clan better the next time. We have grown into a fine clan thanks to the efforts of all of my clanmates. I admit to keeping them all at a distance at first, as I did not feel strong enough to let them see who I was at the time. I was naive, inexperienced, and desperate to save everyone. But now I am happy to say that I will walk among them forever in Starclan, and watch over every cat who graces Marineclan's shores.”

Despite having feelings for both Scratchspeckle and Midnightprance, he decided to make Feathercoast, a shecat from a different clan, his mate. He wanted to show the clan that they had a future after losing Waterleopard and his apprentice, Rimepaw. Feathercoast was ready to be a mother, so he trusted her to bring life to the clan. When she died suddenly while pregnant, he threw himself into defending his clanmates as best he could.

Scratchspeckle is his best friend, and his former deputy. He knew he needed Scratchspeckle in his life, so even when Scratchspeckle confessed his feelings after he'd decided to move on from Feathercoast's death, he couldn't bring himself to accept them. He was afraid of losing another mate and kits, and didn't feel like he had room in his life to face those fears. His job was to keep everyone safe first and foremost. 

After Scratchspeckle's death, Laurelstar became more eager to interact with kits in the camp. He didn't know what to do with himself, so when Wolverinesand confessed her feelings to him he accepted her as his mate without much hesitation. He was desperate for a family of his own.

However, his old feelings for Midnightprance still came back stronger than ever. He wanted to fill the void Scratchspeckle and Feathercoast had each left in his heart, and he didn't seem able to stop himself from becoming attached to anyone who offered him support.

After arguing about kits with Wolverinesand, Laurelstar feared that he might never have kits of his own. In his sadness, he bestowed his own name onto Flightlaurel and began to look out for him as if he were his own son.

But soon after this he would have his own son, Stonekit, and later would welcome Finkit as well. Motivated by Stonepaw's training, he decided to take on Sandypaw as his own apprentice. His first one since Rimepaw's death so many moons ago.

His mind had already been addled by the stress of his lifetime of leadership, but it became bad enough that he forgot he'd already had a kit named Finkit. Only remembering his fondness for the name, he gave his first son the warrior name Stonefin.

When Wolverinesand told him about her feelings for Dahliadusk, Laurelstar saw himself in her torn affections and loyalties. He encouraged her to act on them before it was too late, and happily shared his mate with another cat. In the end, Laurelstar gave his life saving Wolverinesand just as he'd valiantly done for so many other cats throughout his life.

SANDYWHISKER | He/Him Sandykit > Sandypaw > Sandywhisker

Sandywhisker is a gentle giant, with long and fluffy fur.  He’s a great tracker and enjoys his time on patrol by himself.  While naturally friendly, he often finds himself wishing for more time alone.  His social battery drains very quickly, especially because he’s too polite to excuse himself. With his thick fur he can overheat easily and doesn’t particularly like cuddling.

First update! I think I’m going with this style, but who knows, also sorry in advance of the quality is awful, I have no idea how to work this site.

Moon 96-Newleaf

After moons of tension, war has been declared with TulipClan.  During a raid ElementClan’s camp, the enemy warriors attacked the healer's den, filled with cats still recovering from lingering leaf-bare illnesses, including the Healer, Rosemaryquake (53).  She couldn’t defend herself and nearly perished, but at the last moment, Bluepaw (12) rushed in, and, with her powerful earth-blessing, created a wall of earth to protect her mentor.  But the attacking fire-blessed warrior used the distraction to kill the apprentice.  In the same battle, whilst chasing the TulipClan warriors out of camp, Sandypaw (8) fell into a pit trap laid by the enemy.  Despite his wind powers, he was unable to escape and was also killed.  The loss of two young cats is a blow for the Clan.  Yuccastar (75) can’t help but think about how feared and fierce the Clan was when she was young, with the power of two proven Dark-cursed cats and an immensely powerful Fire warrior.  Now the only Fire-blessed cat they have is Peakspots (65), and he is nowhere near as powerful as either of his mothers.  Their most powerful cat is Antlersky (53), but she was out of camp during the attack.  Did TulipClan know that their most powerful fighter would be gone?  Yuccastar can’t help but look at Yellowcreek (23) with suspicion.  Because she is stressed over the safety of her Clan, Yuccastar is being overbearing and controlling in the healer's den, driving Caterpillarmallow (46)  crazy.  She’s had to step up with Rosemaryquake ill and Brightfalcon (139) in the nursery.  Why can’t Yuccastar see that she is doing her best!  After the death of two young cats, Bushmask (107) is making sure to check on his sons.  Yellowcreek is also spending time with Bushmask’s kits, as he still gets along best with the young crowd.  He’s so proud of how far Graypaw (9) has come as a Healer apprentice.  He came in at a stressful time and is doing really well.  Bushmask isn’t thrilled about the dark-cursed cat’s attention to his son.
