Miss Pitchler said that though Christmas marks the birth of Jesus Christ into the world, it has a very symbolic meaning towards the spiritual life. In her view, Christmas is celebrated in similar fashion all over the globe. Speaking of her own celebrations, Miss Pitchler said that she likes to celebrate Christmas in a very simple and quiet way by staring at the Christmas lights and just remembering her close family and friends.
Miss Pitchler is apprehensive that in our modern world today we have lost touch with the meaning of Christmas as we always want to be on the receiving end. We should understand the pleasure of giving. She also shared an interesting story about Christmas. In the end she read out a lovely poem about hope and joy and also added that Christmas should become a more inclusive affair for the betterment of the world .

The 17th episode of Season 5 of TuriyaTalks was honoured by Mr. Sougata Mukhopadhyay, the Senior editor of CNN News 18 & Mr. Xavier Prabhu, Founder, PRHUB Global board member at IPREX Global Communication alongside the host, Sandhya Sutodia of Turiya Communications. The session involved a discussion on the topic ‘Media and Communication: The Road Ahead.’
The conversation began with points being shared about the changes faced by the respective fields that the guests belong to – Media as well as PR. Mr. Mukhopadhyay described how the production process of media has gone through an immense change and how he now has to focus on “unlearning the things of the past” as there is no going back to the old normal. Mr. Prabhu shone some light on the ‘Hybrid model of working’ that is being followed at his workplace and no matter how well technology has fit into our schedules now, it will never be able to replace human interaction.
Both the guests further spoke about a range of topics including the recent TRP controversies as well as the inherent biasness in the media industry. Mr. Prabhu spoke about how Media acts as a mirror that reflects society. He further illustrated an example of the Guardian and their subscription model and the changes it is bringing about with regards to the trust factor of media.
The session came to an end with some insightful words shared by Mr. Prabhu on how Media and PR are two sides of the same coin.

The guest was Ms. Vayjayanti Pugalia, the president, Life Skills Council of West Bengal, Women's Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI), accompanied by the host Sandhya Sutodia of Turiya Communications. The session was held on 14th October on the topic ‘WICCI Life Skills Council of West Bengal-The Blueprint’.
The conversation initiated by interpreting the mission of WICCI. According to Ms.Vayjayanti, WICCI is a premier All-India National Women’s Chamber empowering women entrepreneurs and leaders in all walks of life through advocacy, pro-active representations to government, implementing projects for women via funds allocated by various government agencies and corporates, plus bringing awareness on all issues that concern women in their workplace.
"Women in India contribute just 17% of the national GDP compared to its global percentage value which is nearly 40%", Mrs.Vayjayanti affirmed while narrating the vision that WICCI is focussed at.
The session concluded with several recommendations for women from Ms. Vayjayanti to empower themselves to become independent and self-sufficient.

Metropolitan Boy, a famous food and travel vlogger & Mr. Asif Iqbal, Partner, Elahi Luxury Dining, accompanied by the host Sandhya Sutodia of Turiya Communications. The session was held on 10th October on the topic ‘Coping with COVID – Food and Travel’.
The conversation initiated with their experiences during the early days of this year when the menace of COVID-19 pandemic was at its peak. Mr. Asif addressed the issues that his restaurant Elahi Luxury Dining had to face due to the pandemic although the situation has improved gradually. Mr. Kaustav cited the negative response that he as well as other content creators received when they tried to publish travel related content on social media during the lockdown period.
“Never fake your personality to your audience”, Mr. Kaustav affirmed while chalking out his journey as a travel and food content creator on YouTube. He dedicated his success to his fondness in expressing himself on camera as well as his friends who always supported him in his venture. He concentrated on the importance of homemade food and regular exercise to maintain a healthy lifestyle. He focused on developing trust with the audience by serving them with true facts and figures irrespective of endorsements.
The session concluded with several recommendations from Mr. Kaustav and Mr. Asif to travel safely with precautions. They suggested to always carry a sanitizer and wear a mask as a safety measure from COVID-19.

The guest of the 14th episode of TuriyaTalks, Season 5 was Mr. Deepayon Roy alias 100 & Above, a famous food and travel vlogger, accompanied by the host Sandhya Sutodia of Turiya Communications. The session was held on 6th October on the topic ‘Journey of a Food & Travel Vlogger’.
“People tend to lose confidence in public when they are a bit overweight. I decided to name my channel as 100 & above to empower such individuals to be assertive”, Mr. Deepayon affirmed. He himself had faced the issue of obesity and the related health problems but he did not let this pull him down. Instead, this became his motivating force to go forward with his passion of food and travel vlogging. He stated how he faced difficulties in the initial phases to put his idea of becoming a YouTuber into action.
He talked about his early days of this year when the menace of COVID-19 pandemic was at its peak. Recently, with the ease of restrictions, he has resumed his plans for travelling. He advised the aspiring travellers to cover their journey with proper precautions and safety to minimise the risk of COVID-19 infection. When asked about his favourite content creator on YouTube, he mentioned the YouTuber Bald and Bankrupt - an international travel vlogger.
According to Mr. Deepayon, an individual must have a good knowledge of vocabulary in the language he uses to vlog. This would not only help him to maintain the flow but also to create a positive impact on the audience.
The session concluded with Mr. Deepayon recommending his viewers to select a particular niche based on one's passion and being consistent in uploading videos with quality content regularly.

The guest of the 12th episode of TuriyaTalks, Season 5 was Mr. Sascha Gottschalk, the CEO of FMD Productions and Mr. Thomas Alex Norman, a Filming Teacher & YouTuber, accompanied by the host Sandhya Sutodia of Turiya Communications. The session was held on the topic ‘Content Marketing on Social Media, Storytelling & Its Impact for Brands’.
Mr. Thomas Alex Norman is a travel vlogger as well as a YouTuber. Mr. Sascha Gottschalk is a producer and an expert in film-making. He has a passion for bodybuilding as well as travelling and has travelled to more than 60 countries. They met each other two and a half years ago when Mr. Sascha invited Mr.Thomas for a sightseeing excursion to Uganda. Later, they worked together on several successful projects which received international fame.
Sascha has visited India for four times in the past and also helped several tourists as their guide. He shared the reminiscence of his childhood when was introduced to the Indian culture by one of his classmates, creating a feeling of inquisitiveness. After getting an opportunity to visit India in 2010, he became infatuated with the country and its culture. Later, he revisited India three times and also conducted his marriage ceremony in India.
The session concluded with some suggestions for new content creators, especially for aspiring YouTubers. Mr. Thomas and Mr. Sascha recommended to select a particular niche based on their passion and being consistent in uploading videos with quality content regularly.
