Hi! My first proper write up in a while. :D I don’t even remember how I format things!

Sam is so deeply in love it’s honestly sickening. Yes, he’s always looking at you. Yes, he’s always writing awfully cheesy (and possibly concerning) love notes that Grian has to beg him not to send… and yes, he’s still trying to act like he can be normal about you.

Because just how mortifying would it be if you found out how enamored he is, before he’s ready to confess?! That’s not something he’s prepared for! At all…

Aaand yet, Dom persists in dangling Sam’s baggy that contains the collection of your hairs in front of you. It’s a hilarious class dynamic when literally everyone is aware of how devoted Sam is, since he’s not good at hiding it at all.

One time, he went over to sniff your hair, and you caught him stumbling over his words since he got too greedy and took a bigger whiff than he should’ve. He was standing there like a statue, and it took Taurtis to try and smoothly guide him out of the situation. Taurtis loves to tease Sam about his crush, but even that was too embarrassing for him! And that says a lot, since Sam is just a disaster in general…

Sam will literally get so upset if Okami or Gareth don’t pair you two together, to the point that Silly starts to feel bad and rigs the grouping system so that he can at least try and get close to you. It’s the least she can do.

Just picture Sam rambling about his crush on you to Mr. Snugglemuffins. Seriously, this guy is hopeless, and everyone around him is either teasing him or pitying him! Nobody understands how he really feels…

(Except for you. Because you totally saw one of his love letters in the trash bin one time, and… yeah. It had one of your hairs and missing pencils taped to it.)

❥ Sooo, starting off the bat, since I'm not really writing yandere hcs, let's put all the batshit crimes he committed aside for this occasion..and focus on him being really silly. ❥ If you see him tripping near a trash can, dude, that's on YOU. I imagine he'd be jokingly bragging to someone how he is about to make a 'pro gamer move', then immediately fail a millisecond later before he could even try SHIT

❥ His love language? Well...uh....you could say it's kind of a mix. ❥ For example, gift giving? Absolutely. If you were to mention something specific that you wanted even once (or maybe even when you were talking to yourself while walking back home)? Expect that very thing to appear right outside your doorstep with a poorly drawn rabbit doodle sticked on top of it with a bunny sticker. ❥ Quality time? Definitely! He loves to see you wake up and THRIVE FOR ANOTHER DAY! You BET he stalks the shit out of you though. If you can't shake the feeling that you're being watched at school, on the road back home, and mayybe when you are about to sleep, then that's on HIM. (Sorry, I said I'm not really writing yandere hcs, not that I will never write any.) ❥ Physical touch? ... ❥ DO YOU TAKE HIM AS A MENTALLY WELL GUY? ❥ I also have a teeny tiny headcanon that he only lets YOU touch his rabbit ears. (and I MEAN ONLY YOU if others even TRIED they'd be thrown to the nearest dumpster) And when you do so? He MELTS. Like don't be surprised if you see him giggle like a freaking teenage girl is what I'm trying to say 🤭🤭🤭

Whether it be trying to make you giggle and twirl your hair by saying the most APPALLING pickup lines of all time, or casually talking to you about your interests as if he was already a huge fan of em (bro actually stood up all night looking at every search result on google about that topic, BUT SHH)

You know this man would never ever want to leave you alone (as if it wasn't obvious enough with the abandonment issues and the stalking, but I digress) so you definitely would need to reassure his ass. But once you do so? His droopy rabbit ears would slowly, but surely go right back up again. He can't help it though, you just seem to always make him feel better by existing.

First of all, he’s a total loser. He has no relationship experience whatsoever, so from the absolute get go, he has no clue as to what to do.

But he tries! He tries really hard! He wants to be there for you no matter what, and he wants to make sure that you���re happy with him. He’s awkward and stumbles around, but it’s all he has, and he hopes that it’s enough.

But it’s not like he has nothing to go off of. Taurtis adores you two and thinks you guys are super cute, so he helps Sam out especially since he’s a lot more… popular, and overall sociable. Speaking of which, he actually helped Sam gain the confidence that he needed to ask you out. That’s why it was a lot more romantic than you would’ve expected, because Sam recruited his best friend to help him lol. He did NOT want to mess this up.

It was a cold afternoon and everyone was getting ready to leave for home, so while you were at your locker, you noticed something strange…

There was a love letter with some sort of bag of baby carrots. You thought that it was untrustworthy, especially since it had been sitting in your locker for gord knows how long, so you tossed the food way. But as for the note…

It was a pretty sweet poem, actually, if not vaguely cringey. “Roses are red, violets are blue, your eyes are…” and all that.

However, there wasn’t a name, but instead a meeting time and place: class 2B at 3:40.

So, with your phone on you (just in case this person was a creep) you went ahead and did what the note told you to. And after a few minutes, someone walked in…

Sam.

Now, Sam didn’t have the best reputation. He was known for being a loser, but he wasn’t a bad guy, and now that you saw him stuttering and trying to explain everything — you realized he was actually a bit cute.

The day ended with you kissing him to shut him up, and his expression coming alight with pride. He offered to walk you home, which you accepted. But as you both left the classroom, you spotted Taurtis hiding behind a potted plant with his phone out. He squealed in excitement for you two, inviting himself to walk with you and Sam.

To be fair though, he did live with Sam, so you couldn’t complain. Besides, he was a great friend and wingman, you had to admit.

After you and Sam became official, you, him, and Taurtis were an unstoppable trio. And sometimes, Grian and/or J would join the group.

Speaking of which, you found out that J was the one who broke into your locker to help Sam plant his love note. He apologized and offered to pay for your future wedding, but you had to tell him no (even though Sam seemed eager)

Overall, you’re happy to be with Sam, and he’s likely happier. He gets a little protective sometimes, but he tries not to be overbearing. He just wants what’s best, and he loves you.

Hehe, I definitely had a crush on J when I first watched YHS! Sooo, think of this as being a little self indulgent for me… I enjoy writing him a lot, so I hope you enjoy reading!

Okay, let’s get the obvious stuff out of the way —J totally spoils you, and he turns it into a game for himself to try and one-up his last gift every time.

Like, he might surprise you with a gourmet dinner one day, but then the next day he’ll give you keys to a new car. You seem shocked? Why? Do you not like your gifts? Because he’s willing to make even bigger presents now!

Honestly, what is there to complain about? J adores you and just wants to make you feel well-loved and pampered. Even if it puts a huge dent in his wallet, he’ll always have more cash flowing in (and all of it is going to fund his future with you.)

Because when J loves someone, he is devoted. He’s overall a very chill guy, but J still feels the need to prove his love. If he’s in public with you, he cherishes the moments of casual PDA that fly by. For example, his arm will usually hang over your shoulder, and his seat in class miraculously seems to have been moved next to you, so why not hold hands under the desk?

Also, very important thing to know: he loves to brag about your relationship. J is obviously a show-off in general, so you better be prepared to be showed off as well. After all, you’re priceless, and he still somehow managed to earn your affections. You’re worth more than any gold he ever could dream of!

But despite all of this, I don’t know if his personality is actually all that romantic, but not in a bad way! I mean, sure his gestures are grand, but I think he ends up being really inept if he can’t woo you with gifts and such. Because at the end of the day, he’s still a dork.

When he realizes that you like him for being… him, I think he falls even harder. J has learned overtime that he’s usually loved for what he has, and not for him himself. So it’s a change of pace when your love is genuine, and you see him for who he actually is.

J isn’t easily flustered, but he totally loses his footing when you act soft with him. It’s not something he’s used to, and so he starts acting really awkward as he tries to get back into his charming-confident-persona.

It’s honestly really cute how you effortlessly unlock another side of him that he forgot existed. Sure, he’s smart, funny, and incredibly popular, but you’re seeing the authentic J that just wants to have company. Having someone stick by his side no matter what, is really the main thing that matters to him.

That being said though, it definitely takes a toll on him, and you have to remind him that he doesn’t need to work so hard for your love. It’s hard to convince him that love doesn’t need to be conditional (even though he loves you unconditionally), but that makes it all the more sweeter when he finally lets his guard down, and lets himself relax by your side.

He doesn’t take care of himself, but he definitely wants to take care of you. That’s what makes the two of you such a good couple, you’re both looking out for each other.

For example! He always walks you back to your apartment, even though he insists you stay the night. Buuut if you feel like you’re being watched when you’re with him, you should probably just ignore it. You’re sure he’ll freak out if you tell him anything. Not to say he’s weak (he’s super buff!) but if you’re just being paranoid, his all-in attitude would’ve been for nothing…

Unbeknownst to you though, it’s not paranoia. Who would’ve thought that dating someone who owes a lot of money to the Yakuza, would also put you in their sights?

Ah, but who cares! The only thing that matters is that your relationship with J holds strong, no matter what comes your way

“We should definitely go on a trip in my new car. I heard that there’s this really good resort we can drive to, and- huh? What are you talking about? Yeah, sure, we’ll miss school, but a vacation with you just sounds so much more exciting, doesn’t it..?”

Okay so First off, this guy… COMPLETELY confused at his own feelings. Dom has never been the best with articulating his thoughts (he much rather deal with things in violence), but with a swirl of emotions that feel so utterly soft, he, for once, isn’t completely sure that his fists are the best way to go…

Of course, he first has to confide in Prime. He talks about how you’re always on his mind, and about how much he just wants to squeeze you or something. You get his heart pounding, just like the adrenaline he gets from beating up Sam! Just— what an enigma you are, though, because for some reason… he can’t think of you as annoying.

I mean, sure, the feelings that you’re causing are annoying; but you, yourself? Dom ends up balling his fists and biting his knuckles, unsure of how to explain his strange thoughts. Wasn’t it weird for him to be thinking of you as… cute? Funny? Cool? Maybe he just wanted to be your friend, or ��

…Oh no.

While ranting to Prime, Dom stops mid-sentence as he realizes what the hell is happening in his head. He’s in love. AND HE DOESN’T LIKE IT.

Except he kind of does, because now whenever you look at him he gets really happy and — OH NO OH SHIT OH FUCK

Dom was never really an artsy kid, finding PE to be his more suitable favorite subject, but now he spends his classes trying to figure out how to write some sort of… confession. I mean, the guy is nervous about how he feels, but he’s simultaneously determined about getting what he wants. If he can make a poem, maybe you like it! That’s what romantic people do, right?? And—

“You’re losing your touch!” Sam would yell at him, knocking him out of a dodgeball round. How had it even turned into PE?? WHY WAS HE SO UNFOCUSED? Oh right — you.

Dom tries not to do anything super cheesy, like write love notes or get paired up with you in classes, but he totally wants to. Even though all his written confessions get crumpled up, Invader and Prime can definitely tell. (And invader is determined to get you two together!)

OH BUT he’s definitely the type to try-hard in PE to try and impress you!!

Overall, he tries to keep up his tough guy persona, but he’s still emotional and brash. So… he’s confused.

I love cute things and everything YHS!! I started this blog after I found a Samgladiator x Reader fic on Ao3, realizing that there was barely any reader content in general. I wanna change that :D

I'm a yhs blog now yall, not that I wrote ab other fandoms either way cause brainrot lmao

I'll mostly write ab Ridley and Sam, but like Gram/Taurian will be thrown in their too because idk the group dynamic is fun.

I uhh watched the series when I was 12 or thirteen, so prolly sixth grade maybe seventh. I don't remember. I used to fuxking love this series and the concept so much that I as a middleschooler made my own characters n shit. Love whatever little me was on. Still really, really like Sam's character so there's that. Know nothing and do not want to know ab the drama or whatever has gone on with the content creator Samgladiator.

I'm old asf jeez, anyway I could be considered a yhs veteran in need of compensation. Just here to right ab what makes my brain happy. My writing can sometimes be a little graphic either gore wise or whatever. So if you're under 18/a blank/ageless blog I am gonna have to warn against you interacting. If I find you ill block you I'm sorry. I'm worried youngings will read my stuff and get all fucked up mentally. Also I swear a lot in my writing. I'll often link to my Ao3 because I'm shameless. Teehee. Lowkey proud of my writing even though I'm technically starting a new after a while of not being a fanfic writer.

Like, not getting interacted with when I was younger messed with my head. I honestly felt a drift on the interwebs. I also have a Quotev but Quotev was the site I started on, and lowkey sucks now.
