There was a lot of jubilation when it came to light that superstar Salman Khan will reprise the much-loved character of Chulbul Pandey from Dabangg in Singham Again, the big Diwali release of the year. But after Baba Siddique’s shocking demise on October 12, things went for a toss due to the threat looming over the superstar. On October 21, it was reported that Salman’s cameo in Singham Again had been dropped, disheartening fans who were looking forward to his entry in the exciting Cop Universe. But yesterday, fans got a surprise when Salman secretly and suddenly shot for the special appearance in Mumbai.

Interestingly, Singham Again was previously filed to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) a few days ago. Many people wondered if a director could add a scene when the censorship process was well underway. An industry source told Bollywood Hungama, "There's no difficulty here. The certificate is expected to be issued to the makers of Singham Again within a few days. The makers can then approach the CBFC again, alerting them of the extra video and demanding that it be passed."

According to the source, "The duration on the censor certificate will still mention the original runtime of Singham." Again, this is without Salman Khan's cameo. The CBFC will provide them an extra certificate indicating that they have successfully completed the aforementioned sequence."

Interestingly, this episode bears resemblance to last year's Diwali blockbuster, Tiger 3, starring Salman Khan. The censorship process was concluded on October 27, 2023. Yash Raj Films (YRF) shot Hrithik Roshan's cameo on November 4. As a result, YRF had to request that CBFC pass the additional scene again. The CBFC did this on November 6. Salman's spectacular appearance in Singham Again is believed to be featured in a mid or post-credit sequence, similar to how Hrithik's cameo appeared near the conclusion of Tiger 3.

The same source added: "As per the CBFC rules, the makers need to approach them not just when they add a scene but also when they reduce any scene." Recently, the creators of Devara, starring Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor, approached the CBFC to voluntarily reduce roughly 7 minutes from the film's final version.

According to a report in Mid-Day, “The Tiger 3 star will shoot with Paaji later this week. Salman reportedly has a cameo in Sunny’s next, Safar, for which the two actors are expected to film their scenes together this Friday and Saturday at Mehboob Studios in Bandra. Salman will be playing himself in the Vishal Rana production venture.”

Produced by Echelon Productions, Safar is reportedly set for 2024 release. Meanwhile, Sunny Deol has Aamir Khan Productions’ next project Lahore 1947 which will be helmed by Rajkumar Santoshi.

On the other hand, Salman Khan has Dharma Productions’ next The Bull with Shershaah director Vishnu Vardhan. He also has a project in the works with Sooraj Barjatya. The actor will also star in Tiger vs Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan.

Good but could have been better

Tiger 3 (2023) : I had higher expectations from this but still I would keep it in my good books. Many positives were there, but negatives were there too. Salman Khan did well but the MVP of this movie was Katrina Kaif for me. Her action & her story were good👌👌

I liked the way they connected things to the past and gave a connected feeling although not sure what Tiger 3's events set up for the future. Zoya's past, Aatish's past with both Tiger & Zoya and Vienna Peace Summit connections were good.

Although the movie increases stakes by killing character but it had negligible effect. And the whole saving Pakistan plan & National anthem at the end might have been too extreme. But one good thing was that the movie did not have any unnecessary songs in between.

The direction in the bike chase scene at the start was a little creative, wanted something more from that Towel fight scene, VFX could have been improved & ofc, cameo of Pathaan , the banter of these two is always enjoyable.

And lastly, the post-credit scene, I was expecting to see JrNTR in it & it was a surprise to see Hrithik Roshan going rough & rogue and now I am excited to see what happens in War 2 . To conclude, Tiger 3 is a movie that looks good on paper but could have had better execution.

Just watched Pathaan and- WHAT THE HELL??? Out of a million things that I expected from this movie SALMAN KHAN'S CAMEO WAS NOT ONE! Hands down one of the most iconic moments of Bollywood.

Despite a cameo, KKHH is incomplete without Salman Khan as Aman Gupta who played Anjali's fiancee. The guy makes a fantastic entry with the iconic wedding song 'Sajan ji ghar aaye', the fever of this song is still very lively.

I watch this movie only for Preity Zinta. if you’ve read my previous reviews, you’ll know how much I adore her, and she truly is the gem of this movie with her radiant smile and charming presence. unfortunately, it takes nearly an hour for her to appear on screen. but thankfully, this movie runs for almost three hours. so, when she finally arrives, I feel like my patience is rewarded. the story itself is chaotic and unrealistic, but that’s what makes it so entertaining. it’s everything I expect from Bollywood – colourful, loud, and full of emotions. while Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega is loosely based on While You Were Sleeping, it has a different vibe. where the original is slightly melancholic and slow-paced, this movie balances comedy, romance, and emotional moments. it’s a delightful mix that keeps me engaged, even if I sometimes roll my eyes at the silliness. speaking of silliness, I can’t ignore Pooja’s vigil coma - her eyes are wide open the whole time. it’s unsettling! Rani Mukerji’s intense stare feels like she’s looking straight into my soul. it’s unintentionally funny and a little creepy. still, it adds to the over-the-top drama, which is part of the movie’s charm.

I also have to mention the surprise cameo by Shah Rukh Khan and Sana Saeed as Rahul and Anjali from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. it’s such a nostalgic moment, and I love how it ties the movies together, even if it’s brief. Salman Khan, on the other hand, is just being Salman – loud and comedic. he seems to channel Jim Carrey’s energy but doesn’t quite pull it off. his character is meant to be funny, but sometimes it’s too much for me. the music, however, is where the movie truly shines. the songs are so catchy and memorable! I especially love Piya Piya O Piya and the titular song, Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega. the dance sequences are vibrant and fun, adding even more energy to the story. for me, the music is a big reason why this movie is so enjoyable. in the end, Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega is a classic Bollywood experience. it might not be perfect, but it’s still a lot of fun. if you’re in the mood for something light-hearted with great music, I’d definitely recommend it.
