Sidequest binge, Moors combing for goodies, and a stopoff in Tsaata. That's what I got to today...

(some mild spoilers with indirect references to major events)

I like how they used Glyff, a citizen of a city of complete freedom, to further question the need for a pilgrimage. Again comparing in FFX and ToS, with the nature of said pilgrimages being hidden from the player, it was kept out of the limelight more. And became more about "it's our friend, can't lose her" as well as the hypocrisy of Spira and Cruxis. Here, Val's being given more food for thought on what he wants to do and why it has to be that way.

And with the Salamando Candle, all party members have a transformation. Gonna screw around with Careena next time since this is the first class she can use with her fists. Don't think she'll be more fun to use than Morley (who is stupidly amazing) but I'm gonna give it a go to see if I want her in a fist or spear class come endgame.

...I also forgot to buy her new weapon so I need to put it in the notes I've been making...
