Parmartam brings positive change to underprivileged kids through education
Each child can do anything, but they do not enjoy equal opportunities. Millions of unfortunate children in India are witnessing a lack of opportunities right from the first day on their journey towards fulfilling these dreams due to poverty or lack of quality education. These challenges contribute to keeping them in an unremitting cycle of disadvantage that is ever so hard to get out from. Yet again, let us not lose hope as Parmartham has come forward to make a difference in the lives of these underprivileged children with free holistic education.
This blog would deal with how education in Parmartham has brought a holistic approach into their lives and given them a promising future. So, let's dive into the blog ASAP!
Holistic Education
Holistic education is an all-encompassing approach, which encompasses more than mere academics. It concerns itself with the overall development of a child: his intellectual growth and social, physical, and ethical well-being. It fosters all the facets of a child's personality and helps him in his all-round development into becoming strong and confident to face all the challenges in life with confidence.
While other elements of education emphasize academic greatness via tests and grades, traditional education tends in the direction of standardized, single-syllable testing where higher scores are perceived as high intelligence. Holistic educational philosophy recognizes that learning or educating is multi-dimensional: while valuing academic success; it also places great priority on creativity, critical reasoning, emotional intelligence aesthetic pursuits of moral development and becoming self-controlled. This better prepares children for their world as adults than the single ability for school success does. All this helps the children toward responsible, compassionate and worthwhile adults.
Welcome to Parmartham
Parmartham is an NGO that solely aims to provide free education to underprivileged categories of children. At ›Seva Sanstha‹, education does not hinder in the classrooms; with its help, we wanna see these underprivileged childhoods develop and grow onto making wise decisions in totality of life.
Specifically, it consists of 3 projects: Sanskar Kendra, Saksham Bharat, and Utsah. All these projects are designed to focus on various aspects of children, including morals, ethics, academics, and mind management. Most importantly, the leading members of Parmartham include some eminent members: Mr. Ankush Tambi, Mr. Sanjay Khandelwal, and Dr. Disha Bhanushali. They bring a vast wealth of knowledge to our cause, and their expertise and commitment ensure that we attend to the immediate needs of each and every child. Jointly get them ready for a successful and independent life that is yet to come.
Holistic Education at Parmartham
The approach of Parmartham towards holistic education involves unleashing the full potential in every child. Many different programs have been chalked out that will attend to different aspects in the development of a child. Let us discuss these briefly:
1. Academic Support: These poor children at Seva Sansthan further get supported for academics toward competitive exams, such as NEET, IIT, JEE, to name a few. Our prime focus would be towards providing free education to the less-privileged children and guiding them towards achieving academic success. Tailor-made programs have been made keeping in consideration the strengths and weaknesses of each child. Our Seva Sansthan shall ensure a healthy and empowering environment wherein children shall only have thoughts of academics and growth in their minds.
By providing them with the right guidance and encouragement, we give them an opportunity to become successful in their schooling and build a good future.
2. Moral and Ethical Education: Education at Parmartham goes beyond the textbooks. We place a lot of emphasis on moral and ethical education so that children learn to distinguish between what is right and what is wrong. We inculcate through lessons and activities the values of honesty, kindness, respect, and so on. It is this moral foundation that shall guide them in making positive choices and becoming responsible, compassionate human beings.
3. Cultural Education: Understanding and appreciation of cultural heritage are important in the building of an identity. In Parmartham, we integrate cultural education within our programs to let the children connect with their roots and traditions. We take pride in helping them become proud of their cultural identities through activities involving traditional arts, music, and storytelling. This connection not only enriches their lives but fosters a sense of belonging and community.
4. Physical and Mental Well-being: We have a specially designed program at our Seva Sansthan for these children to foster the physical and mental well-being of these underprivileged children. Further, we promote physical health through regular exercise, sports, and activities that keep children active and fit. In addition to physical well-being, we also focus on mental health.
Through the practices of yoga and meditation, we teach various ways to children through which stress can be overcome, concentration developed, and the child can hold a very optimistic view in life. It helps grow a child both physically and mentally to make him healthful and strong.
5. Community Engagement and Involvement: We often engage these children in community engagement. Together, teaching them the importance of contributing to society. Further, by participating in community activities, they learn to work together, understand social responsibilities, and develop a sense of belonging and shared purpose. Besides, our community engagement program helps these children become responsible citizens who contribute to society and the community.
Come and see for yourself how you can change the lives of underprivileged children by supporting Parmartham.
Since long-term alteration in the lives of destitute children cannot be performed solely but with combined actions, we at Seva Sansthan make multiple ways and possibilities. Here's how you can support Parmartham:

At Parmartham, we believe every child deserves such enriching learning. Through Seva Sansthan, we provide free education for underprivileged children, empowering them for a brighter future.
Role of Holistic Education in a Child's Life
Holistic education shapes children into well-rounded individuals. But at Parmartham, 'it' goes beyond textbooks- teaches life skills, trains on emotional intelligence, and works out physical fitness. By kindling creativity and self-awareness with compassion inside children, holistically educated confident kids will accept life's challenges headlong. It takes time to achieve holistic education at all levels from grassroots to adulthood; thus, starting this process early in students can help needy kids grow into empathic successful adults and successful citizens.
Benefits of Holistic Education to Children
Holistic education has many advantages in the personality development of a child. Some of the main advantages include:
Improved Cognitive Skills: Enhances critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity.
Emotional Intelligence: Helps children control their emotions and develop empathy.
Physical Well-being: Ensures health through yoga, sports, and mindfulness.
Social Responsibility: Caring, teamwork, community service.
Inner Strength and Resilience: Fosters mindfulness, self-discipline, and a sense of purpose.
It is within these aspects that children shall grow academically, emotionally, and socially to meet the challenges of life in a balanced way.

Holistic education is part of our mission at Parmartham. At Seva Sansthan, we uplift underprivileged children through the following:
Saksham Bharat: Provides free education for underprivileged children, equipping them with quality resources and mentorship for self-reliance.
Sanskar Kendra - Value education and moral ethics-oriented upbringing of children and youth in the creation of compassion, truthfulness, and respect:
Utsah: Providing additional extra-curricular activities in the form of arts, music, sports, and cultural programs would promote creative and physical growth among them.
These initiatives have been our pledge to ensure equal opportunities for each and every child, irrespective of their socioeconomic background.
Success Stories in Parmartham
Ravi's Transformation: Two years back, Ravi joined our Saksham Bharat program. Scarcely literate, full of low self-esteem, thin, and timorous, he now happens to be one of the bright students in his class and leads the debate team of his school. His life is a perfect case study for the impact that holistic education can create.
Meera's Artistic Journey: Meera was a shy girl who found her voice in Utsah. With art materials and mentorship available to her, she honed her talent, won state-level art competitions, and unlocked her potential through creativity.
How to Support Us
You can help Parmartham’s mission to provide free education for underprivileged children:
Donate: A contribution to our cause can help us expand our programs, reaching more children.

Spice Money improves access to digitization in rural areas
Tumblr media
Spice Money, India’s leading rural fintech, announced today the launch of a first-of-its-kind zero-investment entry programme that allows rural entrepreneurs to be a part of the Spice Money Adhikari network completely free of cost.
The limited period zero-investment programme will shape Spice Money’s vision to digitally and financially empower 1 crore rural entrepreneurs across the country, and strengthen the company’s digital payments ecosystem in semi-urban and rural areas.
During the recent Union Budget, the FM shared government’s objective to focus on digital payments. Spice Money aligns with this vision and bolsters it by allowing greater access to digital payments in semi-urban and rural areas.
The zero-investment entry programme enables migrant workers, kirana store owners, jobseekers, fresh graduates, housewives and others to join the Spice Money Adhikari network and secure self-employment and other livelihood opportunities in their hometowns. At present, over 65% of 5 lakh+ Adhikaris on Spice Money’s network are below 30 years, many of them budding entrepreneurs in their own rights.
Spice Money Founder Dilip Modi said, “The zero-investment entry programme will encourage the Indian youth in semi-urban and rural Bharat to become Spice Money Adhikaris at no cost. The programme will expand the Spice Money network and offer essential digital financial and e-retail services to the unbanked and underserved communities, especially in remote parts of the country.
The initiative is yet another step in our efforts to secure India’s digital and financial future by supporting young entrepreneurs to earn their own silver through their very own ‘Digital Dukan’.”
Actor-philanthropist, Sonu Sood who has recently partnered with Spice Money said, “Spice Money’s technological expertise and digital infrastructure is helping me fulfil my vision of socio-economic independence for all Indians, particularly those living in less developed regions. As I have witnessed the struggles of thousands of migrant workers during the lockdown, it is time to come forward and help the less privileged earn their own livelihood in the towns and villages where they reside – ‘Humein har gaon ko digitally saksham banaana hai’.
Through Spice Money’s innovative no-cost business proposition, I am confident that we can successfully reach out to a large number of people living in semi-urban and rural areas, and help fulfil their aspirations to become self-reliant and masters of their own destinies.”
During the pandemic-induced lockdown, a large number of migrant workers and other rural people were left stranded, jobless and without any financial means. Spice Money and actor-philanthropist Sonu Sood came together to alleviate their woes by creating entrepreneurial opportunities – through the tagline ‘Spice Money toh Life Bani’ – and providing them an entrepreneurial platform to offer digital and financial services. The zero-investment entry programme is a leap towards achieving that goal.
Apart from the zero-investment programme, Spice Money is also waiving off the rental fees for all existing and new Adhikaris to encourage them to continue their journey of entrepreneurship and self-reliance. To further accelerate its vision of financial inclusion, the company has introduced an initiative where Adhikaris (entrepreneurs) will get the company’s micro-ATM or ‘Mini Magic’ devices at effective zero cost. The move will aid towards strengthening the ATM infrastructure in the country, especially in rural regions.
Spice Money has been working on a war-footing to expand financial inclusion across the country covering 18,000-plus pin codes, over 700 districts and 5,000+ blocks.

Six steps to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals
If you want to support the lives of present and future generations and to protect Earth from the degradation then do nothing but, just follow the 17 Global Goals of SDGs.
Tumblr media
In the year 2020, we stand 5 years into adopting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) - the 17 global goals that ensure a more sustainable lifestyle by 2030 and at the core of which are built to protect planet Earth from degradation, to support lives of present and future generations.
India, in these years, has adopted several measures to attain the SDGs. As per the indications in the SDG India Index, the country has developed a powerful model that aims at the adoption, execution, and thorough, regular monitoring of initiatives at district as well as state levels. Programs such as Sashakt Bharat - Sabal Bharat (Empowered and Resilient India), Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Programme - Swasth Bharat (Clean and Healthy India), Samagra Bharat - Saksham Bharat (Inclusive and Entrepreneurial India), Satat Bharat – Sanatan Bharat (Sustainable India) and Sampanna Bharat- Samridh Bharat (Prosperous and Vibrant India) have been some of the most promising ones attached to the vision.
However, 2020 marks the beginning of a decade that needs the utmost attention. It embarks our efforts on achieving the goals in the span of the ongoing 10 years. So what are the essential steps required to be on track?
We believe the below listed 6 steps will help developing countries like India fasten their efforts towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals -
1. Realize the urgency and accelerate the momentum - With harsh realities of today, such as the pandemic and climate change, it is high time we realize the urgency in implementing essential policies and programs. Having said that, the government can only seize the political momentum, it is a process that equally needs participatory implementation by you and us.
 2. Communicate the SDGs at national, subnational, and local levels - The agenda under SDGs is “of the people, by the people, and for the people.” We must create opportunities for real citizen dialogues and involvement. It is only when people are actually aware, can they participate in the implementation of the SDGs to the best of their abilities and knowledge.
 3. Ensure broad participation - Awareness creation must certainly be followed by clear direction for participating. Persuading people into participating without establishing proper channels that lead to their active contribution will only prove to be a waste of time, money, and energy.
 4. Setting Benchmarks - In order to keep a track of timely progress, the authorities must set benchmarks that enable regular monitoring and reviews. This has to be done across various verticals and levels - right from the government to society; national, subnational, local, community levels. Every action must be accountable with a vision that drives purposeful progress.
 5. Unlocking the potential of Domestic Resources - India as a country is blessed with an abundance of natural resources. The introduction of programs that encourage usage of local resources will not only make the country sustainable but will also generate employment opportunities; thus achieving SDG 9 - Decent Employment & Economic growth and 11 - Sustainable Cities & Communities. Maximum gain from local resources and revival of the damaged ones will help India step up. For instance, The Namami Gange Mission was launched as a priority programme with a budget outlay of Rs.20, 000 crores for the period 2015-2020. This project focused on ecosystem conservation and the revival of river Ganga.
 6. Prioritizing National Issues that align with SDGs - The 17 SDGs are vastly spread in nature. Countries can priorities goals that need immediate attention as per the social and economic conditions of their respective nation. For instance - Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Programme is an effort directed towards solving India’s major concern of availing water and sanitation for all; as well as a lucrative step towards achieving United Nations’ SDG 6.

🌹🌹🌹🕉️Eternal wishes for Raksha Bandhan.🌹🌹
Raksha Bandhan's basis of the festival, the Vamana avatar (dwarf avatar) of Shri Hari Vishnu. In the pre-independence Mughal and English rule, and even after 60 years of independence, the democratic state did not show dwarfism as a Divyang. Thanks Modi ji, to Dr. Thawarchand Gehlot ji, who not only gave respect to inclusion in the category of Divyang, but also gave inclusion to dwarfism.
