May I please request headcanons for Johnny, Matt, Shaundi, and Asha meeting their girlfriend’s family for Thanksgiving?

fun fact, got this ask while playing gat out of hell. also i don't really get the phenomenon of thanksgiving in the us, this is going off what some friends told me lol-

Johnny, Matt, Shaundi and Asha meeting your family for Thanksgiving

Johnny Gat

He's initially against it, but very reluctantly gives in.

Very tense and clearly not really having a good time, but he tries.

If anyone in your family hunts, he might relax a bit. Bond over the guns and knives.

You have to monitor this idiot so he doesn't end up revealing he shoots people, not animals.

Awkwardly gets whatever younger members of the family that might recognize him to leave you guys alone.

You owe him for this, by the way. He could've been stuffing his face at Freckle Bitches'. Appreciate his fucking sacrifice.

Matt Miller

Matt is British, so he doesn't really get American Thanksgiving, but he's just happy to be there.

Don't get me wrong, he's awkward as all hell, this man does not know what he's doing there.

He kinda sticks by your side the entire time, occasionally making some nerdy references. Mostly to Nyte Blade.

He's a bit clingy and awkward, but your family finds him adorable, so it's not so bad.

Shaundi

When she was younger, she'd most likely just refuse. She had better things to do.

Older, more mature Shaundi, however, takes meeting your family surprisingly seriously.

She dresses up and everything. Helps around, puts all her charm and charisma to good use.

Your family adores her. Especially some of the younger members who might be fans.

Probably the best out of them all when it comes to Thanksgiving.

Asha Odekar

Like Matt, she's not American so she doesn't really get it, she just assumes it's an opportunity to hang out with family.

She approaches it very casually. She's respectful and willing to help, letting herself meet your family members.

She still mostly hangs out with you, a bit anxious about what your family might think about her.

She will change the subject if anyone asks about her work which makes your family a bit suspicious, but other than that, it's all good.

Nothing big or notable happens, honestly. It's all very chill.

Boss/Matt Miller & Kinzie Kensington from Saints Row IV

We wore the Boss & Kinzie outfits from the Saints Row IV teaser image to PAX East 2013 originally and had an absolute blast in them and after that, Heather did a couple of other Kinzie costumes in the same vein - her cabinet portrait and the press conference outfit, while Nate also did Matt’s cabinet portrait outfit as well!

Later that summer we were joined by Bria in D.C. to take some fancy presidential shots while the Washington Monument was getting some work done~ just pretend Zinyak did something to it and it was getting fixed. ;D

(Also, one of the photos features the Saints flag we sewed from scratch that had people on Facebook go off about us desecrating a flag when it’s the most lopsided set of stripes we’ve ever put together and not even the colors of a normal flag!!!!!)

OK this is essentially another Matt Miller post but I was just looking at Loren and Asha's homie conversation again-

Now I hc Matt as not coming to the States until a few months before the Saints arriving whereas this could make for a much longer connection. But it's implied Matt was already hacking for a while prior to that. What if the Cairo situation was the initial event that impressed Loren and got him the job?

Side note: This is reminding me I have some characters hc ages way too young including Asha and I'm actually going to rectify that.

So I’m like… A huge sucker for Matsha (Matt Miller/Asha Odekar). I admit that I’m not 100% sure of what exactly you’re writing, and I know that Asha isn’t one of the characters you write for, but even something that’s solely Matt focused that implies Asha is either part of it or he’s just thinking about her would be fucking awesome.

i don't mind writing asha, i just need to replay sriv to make sure she's not ooc. and that's gonna be difficult since i'm currently trying to get that vampire dick is bg3-

Matt Miller and Asha Odekar throuple headcanons

Honestly, scoring a brilliant hacker nerd and a military bad bitch is quite the achievement, not gonna lie.

Although they're both british so maybe it's not that great of an achievement, I suppose.

Still, they're not bad together. Matt pulls you both into watching Nyte Blade with him. And while the show is bad, it's so bad that it's actually hilarious.

You also have video game nights. Matt gets you both to play Minecraft with him.

Usually you and Asha only get started, and the next time you come to the Minecraft world, Matt has already managed to build a whole ass empire.

Dates or hang-outs with all three of you are usually planned by Matt. Asha mostly spends her free time in more active ways.

Her idea of a date is to teach you self-defense or to share a sweet evening wrapped in a blanket together. With some hot cocoa, preferably. And marshmallows, though that's only on special occasions.

Matt, on the other hand, likes to be showy sometimes. Well, more often than sometimes, but you get the point.

He's a pirate and you cannot convince me otherwise, that man has not paid for a single game/program in his entire life.

Except Nyte Blade. Baby boy pays for Nyte Blade.

He pirates all your favorite shows. And games.

If you're a gamer, you get a whole room as you gamer den.

He does not let you win, though, if you play against each other.

He loves you, yes, but he's not letting you beat him. Nobody can beat him. Not you, not Asha, nobody.
