JY . Please give me the inspiration behind your current work especially your history of becoming an artist.

Chow Chumlap is a leading artist in portrait painting in Thailand and always donates his Royal Family paintings to the Public Health Service as a public relations model that the government uses for important occasions. His faith in Thailand with the monarchy has long held the hearts of the people. Everyone embraced his aesthetic of beauty and care. One of his impressive works was a painting of the Royal Regiment of Prince Mahidol Songkla, the father of King Rama IX.

I graduated from Prince of Songkla University in South Thailand. The university's namesake: His Royal Highness Somdej Chao Fa Mahidol Adulyadej Kromma Luang Songkla Nakarin, formerly Prince Mahidol Adulyadej, was the father of King Ananda Mahidol and King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

During his life, HRH Prince Mahidol took up many positions related to education and medicine. He was Director-General of the University Department in the Ministry of Education; Chairman of the board of faculty of Siriraj College of Medicine and Nursing; committee member of the council of Thai Red Cross Society; Chairman of the organizing committee of Vajira Hospital; invited lecturer of the Faculty of Science and Arts Chulalongkorn University; and resident doctor in McCormick Hospital in Chiangmai. His initiative and effort produced a most remarkable and lasting impact on the improvement of modern medicine and public health in Thailand, such that he was honored with the title of "Father of Modern Medicine and Public Health of Thailand". This was the first reason I intended to interview Chow Chumlap.

JY . Please give me the inspiration behind your current work especially your history of becoming an artist.

CC . I was born in 1959 in a very poor family, far away from prosperity in the Thung Song Subdistrict, Thung Song district, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. At that time, I remember when I was in elementary school, I liked to draw very much, but I was a country boy. I used my school notebook to draw. Being froma poor family, with bare feet andtorn pants I was anorphan; my father died when I was so young. Of my brothers and sisters, I was the youngest.

I was a loner since childhood when my mother was visiting my older siblings who had families. The house was a small one-story old wooden house. After a rain, the front of the house had a clean white sand floor. l always broke dry branches to draw a picture of the King, remembered from the picture framed and hung on the wall of the house when I was a child. I had a dream: one day I would be a painter.

I was ordained as a novice After finishing primary school, I studied Dharma for many years in the temple, which made me find thar religious philosophy was also a good guideline.When I was around 17-18 years of age,I left the temple to train as a conscripted soldier. But before that time, I applied to draw at a movie theater in the provincial town to earn my living. I did everything to survive, thinking that any job was possible for me.I would like to thank all of the team for their support back then. If there weren't those people, I wouldn't have a good career as an artist today. After working with the pictures for movies, I served the nation with two years of military service.

Since I had the basics of drawing, I did a lot of art service in the army. I made several large cut-out signs installed in the district and many places in the province. I started to make signs of the King and Queen that were set up both in the camp and outside the camp, and included important days and various festivals.

When I finished my two years of duty, I came to live in Bangkok. My plan was to work as a painter for a movie theater in Bangkok, Sahamongkol Film International Co. Ltd. It is a Thai motion picture production and distribution company.

CC. ผมเกิดในปี 2502 ในครอบครัวที่ยากจนมาก ห่างไกลจากความเจริญ ใน ต.ทุ่งสง อ.ทุ่งสง จ.นครศรีธรรมราช ตอนนั้นจำได้ว่าตอนอยู่ประถม ผมชอบวาดรูปมาก แต่เป็นเด็กบ้านนอก ผมใช้สมุดเรียนของโรงเรียนในการวาด การที่มาจากครอบครัวที่ยากจน เดินเท้าเปล่า และใส่กางเกงขาดมาโรงเรียน เป็นเด็กกำพร้า คุณพ่อของผม เสียชีวิตเมื่อผมยังเด็ก ในบรรดาพี่น้อง ผมเป็นคนสุดท้อง ผมโดดเดี่ยวมาตั้งแต่เด็กเมื่อแม่ไปเยี่ยมพี่น้องที่มีครอบครัว บ้านหลังนี้เป็นบ้านไม้ เก่าชั้นเดียวหลังเล็กๆ หลังฝนตก หน้าบ้านมีพื้นทรายขาวสะอาด ผมมักจะหักกิ่ง ไม้แห้งเพื่อวาดรูปของในหลวง จำได้จากกรอบรูปและแขวนไว้บนกำแพงบ้านเมื่อ ตอนที่ยังเ��็นเด็ก ผมมีความฝัน วันหนึ่งผมจะเป็นจิตรกร ผมได้บรรพชาเป็นสามเณร หลังจากจบชั้นประถมศึกษา ผมได้ศึกษาธรรมะในวัด อยู่หลายปี ซึ่งทำให้พบว่า���รัชญาธรรมะเป็นแนวทางที่ดีเช่นกัน เมื่อผมอายุ ประมาณ 17-18 ปีจำต้องออกจากวัดเพื่อเตรียมไปฝึกเป็นทหารเกณฑ์ แต่ก่อน หน้านั้นผมได้สมัครวาดรูปที่โรงหนังในต่างจังหวัดเพื่อหาเลี้ยงชีพ ผมทำทุกอย่าง เพื่อความอยู่รอด โดยคิดว่างานทุกอย่างเป็นไปได้สำหรับตนเอง  ผมอยากจะ ขอบคุณทีมงานทุกคนที่ให้การสนับสนุนในตอนนั้น ถ้าไม่มีคนเหล่านั้น ผมคงไม่มี อาชีพที่ดี ในฐานะศิลปินในวันนี้ หลัง จาก ทํางานด้านวาดภาพให้กับหน้าโรง ภาพยนตร์ เหล่า นี้ผมเข้ารับใช้ชาติด้วยการเป็นทหารอีกสองปี.

Tom Yum Goong 2 (Thai: ต้มยำกุ้ง 2), known in the USA as The Protector 2, in the UK as Warrior King 2 and in Germany as Return of the Warrior. It is a 2013 Thai martial arts film directed by Prachya Pinkaew. The film is a sequel to Pinkaew's Tom-Yum-Goong, with actors Tony Jaa and Petchtai Wongkamlao reprising their roles as Kham and Mark from the first movie.

Plot[edit]

Kham (Tony Jaa) has resumed a quiet village life with his 'brother'/elephant, Khon, back in Thailand. Job, an oddball who loves playing with electrical devices, has lived in the village for some time and has earned the trust of the locals. Unknown to Kham, he's an agent of an arms dealer known as Mr. LC (RZA). A fan of Kham's exploits, LC had Job keep tabs on Kham without his knowledge. Things change for Kham when a merchant, Suchart Vilawandei (Adinan Buntanaporn), wants to buy Khon, but Kham refuses to sell Khon. Suchart gives his business card to Kham in case he changes his mind.

While eating with the local villagers, Kham feels something is wrong and returns home to find that Job has been beaten and Khon has been taken by Suchart. Using the business card that Suchart gave him, Kham goes to Suchart's home to get answers but only finds that Suchart has been killed moments earlier. Suchart's two nieces, martial artists Ping-ping (Yanin 'Jeeja' Vismitananda) and Sue-sue (Theerada Kittiseriprasert) arrive and believe that Kham must be responsible. The two attack him, but he evades and escapes; the authorities are alerted and the police give chase.

While running from the law, Kham encounters Mark, who fakes being assaulted and allows Kham to escape. Later on, they secretly meet to learn more about the situation. Mark himself is in Thailand on a job for Interpol investigating a recent terrorist plot involving the peace talks between East Katana and West Katana in Bangkok.

Kham is attached by Suchart's nieces as well as a biker gang. Kham fights through them and faces a small group of LC's fighters. LC himself is a great admirer of martial arts and has gathered his own personal group of fighters ranked according to their strength. LC has his second-strongest fighter, No. 2, take on Kham, while the girls are also interfering. No. 2 kills Sue-sue, leaving Ping-ping to grieve. Kham loses the fight to No. 2 due to a needle stuck to his neck from the fight with Ping-ping. No. 2 realizes that he only won the fight because Kham was handicapped, and takes him to LC.

At LC's base, Kham finds his elephant and also discovers that Job is a traitor. Kham's enemies tie a specially made remote-controlled electrical device to shock Kham as well as Khon at the same time every time Kham disobeys. LC wants Kham to join him and uses the device to force Kham to help him assassinate a political figure related to the peace talks. LC also brands Kham on his chest as his fighter No. 1.

Mark also encounters Ping-ping and takes her to examine her uncle's body at the coroner's office, where it is explained to her that Suchart was killed by three powerful combo punches, the same method of killing that happened to Sue-sue. LC, Job, No. 2, and Kham all go to a country temple to help war profiteers assassinate both leaders at the Katana peace talks to incite war and sell more weapons. Kham infiltrates the temple and fights against all of LC's men and No. 2. Kham and Ping-ping team up to fight against their mutual enemies. Ping-ping ignites an entire floor filled with gasoline in an attempt to burn No. 2, but No. 2 avoids the explosions and fire and finds Kham.

Kham, fighting one level below Ping-ping, takes advantage of the fire, setting his own shoes on fire to using them to defeat his enemies. They in turn copy him. Kham then fights No. 2 again, this time further below, on the train tracks. The two fight over a live rail and take advantage of the electricity to shock each other while fighting. Kham knocks out No. 2 and confronts LC. To Kham's surprise, LC is highly trained and has marked himself as No. 0. The fight is short because both men fall and LC is knocked out.

Kham recovers and finds Khon. He tells Mark that there's a bomb threat, and Mark tries to explain this to his superiors but they won't listen to him. Mark decides to scream out that there's a bomb and it scares everyone away. Kham finds Job, and the two discover that Khon's tusks have been cut down and replaced with prosthetic tusks that are rigged to explode. Kham tries to find a way to save Khon, but LC and No. 2 interfere.

No. 2 and LC take on Kham in a two-on-one fight while Kham is busy holding Khon's tusks to prevent them from falling out and exploding. With the help of both Ping-ping and Mark, No. 2 is defeated and LC is killed after Kham releases the tusks and kicks them away at LC. The explosion kills LC and knocks both Kham and Khon over the cliff and into the ocean, but they survive.

Tom Yum Goong 2 went into production in August 2011.[3] The script was written by Eakasit Thairaat who previously had written scripts of the Thai films 13 Beloved (2006), Body (2007) and Long Weekend (2013).[4]

Film Business Asia gave the film a rating of seven out of ten, stating that 'the action coming fast and furious, especially when the script basically gives up any pretence at coherency halfway through. The only differences are that Jaa abandons his usual claim to fame of not using wire-work or visual effects, and the film is lighter on the masochism that has permeated most of his work.'[1] The South China Morning Post gave the film a rating of three out of five, noting that the film 'overcomes a clumsy, complicated set-up and unimpressive 3-D to deliver the requisite thrills.'[8] The movie holds an aggregate metascore of 45/100 based on 10 critics at Metacritic.[9]

Tan (Jirayu Tangrisuk), sejak kecil hanya tinggal berdua dengan Mat (Piyatida Mitteeraroj), sang ibu. Semenjak Thun, sang suami meninggal, Mat telaten mengurus kebun arbei peninggalan suaminya. Sesekali Tan ikut membantu sang ibu di kebun. Sejak kecil, saat Tan sedang duduk bersama dengan sang ibu, Tan membacakan ulang tiap surat yang ditulis ayahnya. Usai lulus SMA, Tan diterima di fakultas jurnalistik salah satu universitas di Bangkok. Awalnya Mat menentang keputusan anaknya tersebut karena dia ingin Tan berkuliah di fakultas pertanian. Beberapa hari Mat dan Tan tidak saling bicara hingga akhirnya Mat mengatakan kalau dia merestui Tan berkuliah di Bangkok. Demi mendengar hal itu, Tan loncat memeluk sang ibu.

Kehidupan di Bangkok cukup banyak mengubah perilaku dan penampilan Tan. Di Bangkok dia juga bertemu dengan June (Jarinporn Junkiat), gadis ceria yang juga terlambat di hari pertama masa pengenalan kampus. Berkat itu pula Tan dan June mulai dekat, terlebih mereka sama-sama suka bersepeda dan suka dengan anjing. Bahkan mereka merawat seekor anjing yang ditemukan di kafe yang sering mereka datangi. Kedekatan mereka ternyata membuat June menyukai Tan, tetapi tidak dengan Tan. Tan justru menyukai Orn--kakak perempuan June--yang tidak sengaja bertemu usai Tan dan June menonton film buatan Orn. Tan pun meminta bantuan June untuk mendekati Orn hingga Tan pun dekat dengan Orn. Melakukan apapun demi dekat dengan Orn, sekalipun itu bukan hal yang sebenarnya Tan ingin lakukan. Walau begitu, Tan tetap selalu bercerita pada June, termasuk ketika dia menerima tawaran bermain peran. June selalu mengingatkan tentang mimpi kepada Tan, tetapi Tan tidak mengindahkan June. Tan jarang mendengarkan June, bahkan dia tidak tahu jika June mendapat beasiswa ke Jepang.

Berkali-kali bersama Orn ternyata membuat Tan sadar kalau dia hanya dimanfaatkan oleh Orn. Di tengah kegalauan memikirkan Orn, Tan mendapat kabar kalau sang ibu jatuh sakit. Tan pun bergegas pulang ke Chiang Mai dan merawat sang ibu hingga sembuh. Suatu ketika, Tan menemukan surat-surat yang ditulis Mat untuk sang suami. Dari surat itu Tan sadar kalau ibunya sangat mencintainya.

Film Timeline "Letter and Memory" memberi banyak pelajaran mengenai cinta dan mimpi. Bahwa terkadang kita terlalu mengharapkan cinta dari orang lain yang ternyata tidak menganggap kita berarti. Hanya menganggap kita sebagai orang yang pernah membantunya. Bahwa terkadang kita tidak menyadari kalau ada seseorang yang selalu mendukung dan mengingatkan kita tentang mimpi, tentang masa depan. Thai court lifts ban on 'Fast & Furious': lawyer

A Thai court Monday lifted a ban on the latest instalment in "The Fast and the Furious" blockbuster franchise, a lawyer said, following a contract dispute with a local actor. "Fast and Furious 7", due to open in Thai cinemas on April 1, was blocked by a court injunction Thursday after a Thai movie studio filed a lawsuit alleging that local film star Tony Jaa was in breach of contract for appearing in the film. The Civil Court of Thailand in Bangkok ruled that "the temporary banning order would affect other actors -- therefore the court has cancelled the temporary banning", he said. Suwat added that his client is still seeking 1.6 billion baht ($49 million) damages from Jaa, film studio Universal Pictures and local distributor United International Pictures (UIP) because the actor was committed to Sahamongkol in an exclusive contract until 2023. http://dlvr.it/9BZg0X
