The performer's eyebrows knit together as his posture tightens. It was clear he meant to cut an immovable figure but his SMALL STATURE AND FOOLISH LOOKS---it's the bells, he'd always blame the damn bells!---detracted from the intent, and heavily at that.

"Sense? You're talking about running off god knows where doing god knows what surrounded by monsters and you claim that I have no sense?! Huh!" He wasn't some GREAT ADVENTURER---honestly Sadwick wasn't even a GOOD CLOWN, SENSELESS OR OTHERWISE---but at least he knew to admit that shortcoming. Quit while you're ahead. Quit before things become dangerous. Quit before things even start. "I'm not keen on being some beast's lunch so count me out!"

It's been a while since I posted any cosplay, but here's my latest photoshoot. It all started in 2015 when I discovered games by Daedalic Entertainment. Before those games I thought point-n-click quests are boring and can't have deep good plot, but after Deponia and then Whispered World I completely changed my mind.

So here's Sadwick, sad clown from Whispered World! I actually started this costume in August 2016, but this hat frustrated me so much that because of it, I was done with whole costume only by 2019 (had to remake it...twice?).

Photos were made by my friend who's into analog photography and she agreed that it would be perfect. We didn't have a chance to shoot on sunny autumn day that, so we decided to wait another year and 2020 was just perfect except the fact faux leather started falling apart right after we arrived to the park, but despite that I love the result and it looks like I've always imagined in my head!!

Some Silence fanart that i did like a year ago. I’ve studied Sadwick as a character and sketched some emotions and poses. At that moment I thought - if “Silence” would be an point-and-click adventure game in 2D style, like the very first game - "The Whispered world", then how the developers would change the design of the character (you can see Sadwick's design in the “Silence” artbook and how it has changed due to the 3D style and graphics).

Run away? Was she being serious? It was impossible---it was absolutely, positively impossible---but it MADE HIS HEART FLUTTER ALL THE SAME....

He couldn't bring himself to actually leave his grandpa or Spot for that matter but....to have a day? A day for fun? A day without Ben making fun of him, without having to do anything scary, without greasepaint or gross food or scary acts he could barely do? It could even be a day where he PRETENDED TO BE SOMEONE ENTIRELY NEW, wouldn't that be something? It was almost scary to think about.

"Oh, If only...." Sadwick wasn't saying no but he also couldn't say yes either and a genuine wistfulness overtakes his normally morose tone of voice. If only. If only. If only. If only he deserved a wonderfully impossible day like that. "I wouldn't even know where to start but...." He really shouldn't say anything more; it was too good to be true and they both knew it so he really, really, really shouldn't say anything else and yet.... "....I BET WE'D HAVE ALL KINDS OF FUN."

The 11th part of my Lp of Whispered World. Just two more parts to go after this one. In this part Sadwick explores the nearly deserted castle of Corona, talks to the royal astronomer and finds out what he needs to do to wake up the king. He also encounters Bobby the Chaski who he discovers is nothing but a big coward. He was scared off by a fox (according to him it was a big fox lol).
